This is my first visit.
It was two days full of surprise and inspiration. I only knew it was a museum Hotel, and to be honest, I came mainly for Briance—but it truly felt like an actual museum. Even while exploring the building, the staff kindly provided detailed explanations, which made it even more enjoyable. Every piece is one of a kind, and through the art tour program we also received in-depth commentary. I understood why so many guests return again and again, and it made me want to explore even more myself. The Room was very comfortable and easy to use, the lounge food was delicious, and even though we had dinner at Briance—the original purpose of our visit—we ended up fully enjoying the bar and lounge as well. The wonderful smiles and thoughtful hospitality from all the staff were outstanding, allowing us to spend a truly relaxing holiday. Thank you very much. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed Briance as well.

Among Nagoya’s luxury Hotels, it currently stands out for its exceptional quality.
From the guest-only entrance lined with the armor of Aichi’s three great warlords—Nobunaga, Hideyoshi, and Ieyasu—a dazzling world unfolds, reminiscent of a scene from the opening sequence of the 1990s Taiga drama “Hideyoshi.” The interior evokes the opulent atmosphere of the Tensho to Keicho eras. It is not merely glamorous; thoughtful design elements inspired by local history and culture can be felt throughout, giving it the presence befitting one of Nagoya’s leading Hotels. Welcome fruit and sweets were provided, along with an original gift for IKYU Diamond members, so the sense of exclusivity continued even after entering the room. We stayed with a child this time, and their attention to families was excellent. A child toilet seat was provided in the restroom, and a diaper disposal bin was available at the sink. At breakfast, there were children’s chairs and cups with straws. It was especially impressive how family-friendly they are without compromising a luxurious feel. Our room faced Meieki (city view) rather than Nagoya Castle, but the view was still outstanding: in addition to Meieki’s high-rise skyline, we could even enjoy glimpses of Nagoya Castle’s Honmaru reflected in nearby glass buildings. Set slightly away from busy shopping areas and main roads, it remains quiet and relaxing inside despite being an urban Hotel. You can also step out onto the balcony to cool off in the evening breeze. The bed featured Serta’s “Tradition Royal,” and I have never experienced a Hotel bed that fit my body so well—I slept comfortably through to morning. A Repronizer hair dryer was provided as well, reflecting their no-compromise approach to every detail of in-room amenities. The bathroom is not an Onsen, but it is positioned by a window, allowing you to unwind while enjoying the view not only at night but again the next morning. With late checkout set at 1:00 p.m. as a perk, we were able to enjoy breakfast and bathing at an unhurried pace. After checkout we also dined at a first-floor restaurant; from arrival until departure we ended up staying for more than 24 hours in total. Even so, we never grew bored—the Hotel itself felt like a destination worth savoring. It truly felt like one of Nagoya’s finest stays—an extremely satisfying experience. I would love to return whenever I want an easy weekend recharge close to home.

If you don’t consider value for money, it’s wonderful. I gave an overall rating of 4.

An ever-evolving, exceptional space
Thank you, as always, for a wonderful stay experience. With this visit, I have successfully completed my 8th stay, and have now completed two full rounds of all four venues included in the “Gastronomy Plan.” Compared to when I first stayed, the staff’s service feels even more composed, and I truly sense that an excellent environment has been established. The quality of the club lounge has also improved significantly, making my stay even more comfortable. I am scheduled to stay again next month and am very much looking forward to it. It is wonderful to see the General Manager and all staff members growing day by day as you aim to become one of Japan’s top Hotels. This is a Hotel I hope will continue striving for even greater heights. Reviewer FACT: Certified sommelier. Total Michelin stars across restaurants visited in Japan and abroad: 720+ stars. A beautiful Hotel
This was my first stay, and I heard the Hotel has been open for six months. It was an extremely clean and beautiful Hotel. The staff always greeted me with a smile whenever we passed each other, which was very soothing. The Room interior, bed, and amenities were all excellent. Dinner was Japanese cuisine, but I felt there wasn’t a standout main dish. Octopus was served at the end; it was so tough I couldn’t chew through it. At worst, it could have caused choking. It was said to be supervised by Mr. Sasaki, but it fell short of my expectations. Everyone on the club floor was very kind, except for one person. When I went to breakfast, I handed over my room key, and the first thing I was asked was my room number. It was the same staff member who handled my check-in at first. Even though I remembered them, they didn’t remember me—apparently that happens. At every club floor I’ve visited before, they always addressed me by name. That person clipped my room key into a check holder and instructed another staff member to show me to my seat. After finishing breakfast, when I told them my room key was missing, their first response was “Huh?” They acted as if it were my fault for losing it. They did make a new room key right away, but it left me feeling very uncomfortable from the morning onward. Even though everyone else’s hospitality is wonderful, this is extremely disappointing and leaves a bitter taste.

The entire Hotel is a work of art.
I stayed for one night in April. I had previously stayed at the former Castle Hotel and was curious to see how it had changed after the renovation, so I decided to book a stay. From the exterior to the entrance and all the way to reception, I was overwhelmed by the lavish spaces. Everything is luxuriously designed, yet brought together with exceptional taste and elegance. Breakfast was excellent, and I also enjoyed the pool and morning yoga experience, but above all, the in-house art tour was outstanding. The female staff member who guided us listened attentively to what we had to say, which made it an especially meaningful time for me. It was a truly one-of-a-kind experience unique to this Hotel. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, I’ve gained another wonderful memory. Thank you very much!

Quality of the food in the Club Lounge
The best part of this stay was the breakfast at Owari Sui Inaba inside the Hotel. I couldn’t get a Reservation in Ginza, but here I was able to book easily for my preferred date. The quality was outstanding, and I don’t think I’ll ever find a better breakfast. As a Hotel Facility, the spa had a carbonated Onsen; there was no one else there besides us, and it was spacious and clean. The Onsen itself was excellent and really relieved our fatigue. We chose a Room with an in-room Onsen, but I felt the layout and flow were very poor. I don’t think women’s perspectives were considered at the design stage. There was a tri-fold mirror inside the closet, but it was dark and the light turns off midway through use. I don’t understand why a tri-fold mirror is placed there—it doesn’t feel designed from the guest’s point of view. There was also a sofa set arranged face-to-face, but because the back of the opposite sofa is high, it blocks the TV screen. This also doesn’t feel guest-oriented. In addition, I think a chair is needed at the vanity area. I was surprised by how limited the selection in the club lounge was. We used it during afternoon tea and cocktail hours, but both quality and variety were disappointing. Lounges at other Hotels in the same class are more substantial. Many comparable Hotels also offer complimentary drinks within the Hotel as well as free parking, so that aspect was disappointing too. My mother joined an art tour and said that when she asked questions, she repeatedly received “I don’t know” as an answer. Since this seems to be a Hotel that highlights its art collection, if you are going to run an art tour on purpose, I think staff should be prepared for expected questions and able to answer them properly. One thing that truly impressed me: we never got lost. Staff always called out to us by name; when we told them where we wanted to go, they guided us accordingly; when elevator doors opened after we got off on any floor, someone responsible for that floor would always be waiting to continue guiding us. It happened every time with consistent service—exceptional attentiveness and awareness. I would love to have Inaba’s breakfast again; however, if the club lounge remains as it is now, next time I may stay at another Hotel and only come here for Inaba’s breakfast instead.

What We Liked, What Could Have Been Better
1. What I liked - There were plenty of staff for the number of guests, so unlike many Hotels, it didn’t feel understaffed (e.g., being escorted to the room was smooth). - Guests can use the pool, hot-bath Facility, and activities. - The exhibits and interior design in the common areas feel very luxurious. - The Repronizer hair dryer is excellent. - The mattress is very comfortable, and the slippers and pajamas are comfortable as well, making it easy to sleep. - The club lounge was not crowded, so it was easy to relax. 2. What disappointed me - Parking is free for up to 4 hours for dining guests, yet Accommodation guests are charged a full 3,000 yen. Considering land values in Asama Town as well, this felt unfriendly. If that’s the policy, I would rather see dining-only guests charged properly too—no parking perks would feel fairer overall. - With a standard room type, considering that the price is more than double compared with other foreign luxury Hotels in the 50,000–100,000 yen range per night, I didn’t feel very satisfied with the interior. - I dined at Ukai-tei. In my course menu, I could choose either garlic rice or light somen noodles at the end. However, my elderly parents (over 70) were given only one option: curry rice. Teppanyaki is already heavy for older people; having only curry rice felt like torture to them. Differences between courses may be unavoidable, but offering only curry as a single option for elderly guests with sensitive stomachs seems inconsiderate. In fact they later had heartburn and nausea and couldn’t sleep that night. They wanted to mention it when they saw the menu but couldn’t—because they are older and couldn’t read the small print well—and they also felt too timid to complain after being served. At minimum, having something like somen noodles as an alternative would have been appreciated. - For the security elevator key-card reader: at other Hotels a light turns on when you tap your card; here there seems to be no indicator light (?) so it’s hard to tell whether it has responded or not.

Thank you very much for an exceptional stay.
Thank you very much for allowing me to enjoy an exceptional birthday-month stay at Espacio Nagoya Castle. From the entrance to the spa, the attentive teamwork of your staff in every area, along with their heartfelt congratulatory words, moves me deeply each time. I truly feel that your Hotel’s hospitality continues to evolve, and every visit brings new discoveries and joy. You embody what true luxury means, and I was able to spend precious time genuinely relaxing. I look forward to returning to this wonderful place again on my next visit.

This Hotel is a wonderful space filled with beautiful and vibrant contemporary art.
Since the opening, I’ve visited about once a month—12 nights in total—and this was my 10th stay. Thank you for always welcoming me so warmly and for giving me such a comfortable, relaxing time. I also received commemorative gifts and words of thanks in various places to mark my 10th visit. This time, dinner was at Ukai-tei. I asked to switch to abalone and was completely satisfied—full and happy. After that, I moved to the bar. The conversations with the experienced staff are always enjoyable. I got so absorbed in chatting that it was closing time before I knew it. Some guests just stop by to look around because they don’t drink alcohol, but the non-alcoholic mocktails are beautiful and delicious as well. The space itself is wonderful, so when you come to the Hotel, I recommend spending some time at the bar. The next morning, I joined a yoga session. The instructor explained everything carefully even for overseas guests, which really showed their kindness. They also shared clear advice and the reasons behind each pose—it was an excellent experience. Whenever I stay here, I always look forward to exploring inside the Accommodation. You can spend a lovely time surrounded by an amazing atmosphere. Before you realize it, you’ve walked quite a lot—it’s such a spacious Hotel that it feels like good exercise too. On Sunday at the entrance area, it was lively and bustling. It seemed like many guests were visiting for the first time this time, and the staff kindly guided those who looked lost. There was live music in the Garden Lounge on the first floor, creating an exciting mood. The fourth floor was also busy with restaurant guests; many took photos with Nagoya Castle in the background or enjoyed viewing art works. The entire Hotel felt vibrant and filled with a great atmosphere throughout.

Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Thank you for a truly elegant stay. Next time, I’d like to book a trip just to fully enjoy the hotel. I loved the former Nagoya Castle Hotel, and I’ve come to love the upgraded Espacio Nagoya Castle even more. I stayed here for a live show at IG Arena. It was very convenient—just a quick taxi ride to the venue—and every staff member was consistently kind and pleasant in every situation. The hotel is filled with beautiful pieces like an art museum, and my Room was luxurious with a lovely view of Nagoya Castle, which was perfect for getting excited before and after the show. Above all, I was especially happy that I could communicate clearly in Japanese with every staff member. When traveling for concerts, I sometimes stay at wonderful international hotels in Tokyo or Osaka, but there are often situations where I have to use English even while in Japan, which can feel a bit uncomfortable. This stay made me truly appreciate Japan’s hospitality culture again—thank you from the bottom of my heart.

It was wonderful.
This was my first stay, and the purpose of my trip was to enjoy the Hotel itself. I spent the entire time in the Hotel from check-in to check-out, but between the meals, the in-house art tour, a walk around the garden, and morning yoga, time flew by—I was surprised at how much there was to enjoy just within the Hotel. The staff always greeted me with a smile; it felt unfamiliar at first, but little by little I found myself smiling too and enjoyed our conversations. It is in a higher price range, but I was very satisfied with all the experiences available and would love to stay again. I heard it opened last year, and since it will likely be used for international events in Nagoya, I’m happy that every time I see it featured in the news, these wonderful memories will come back. Thank you very much.

Be enchanted by the castle.
We’re so glad we chose Espacio for our sisters’ trip. The illuminated castle—what a dreamlike moment. The hospitality was wonderful, and we’d love to stay again if we have the chance. This time we enjoyed the teppanyaki; everything was delicious right down to the somen at the end—truly impressive. Thanks to you, it was a great trip. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Japan’s Finest Hotel
The best Hotel in Japan. The service was outstanding and truly moving. With so many staff members, everyone seemed calm and unhurried. The food quality in the club lounge was excellent. The breakfast carpaccio had a rich umami flavor and was incredibly delicious. The juices were also top quality. I was happy to enjoy plenty of champagne in the club lounge. Dinner was delicious as well. The amenities were the most luxurious of any Hotel I’ve stayed at. Compared with luxury Hotels in Tokyo and Kyoto, the pricing is extremely reasonable. I’d love to stay again.

Heartfelt Hospitality and Staff Growth
I was truly impressed by how much more confident and polished the staff have become compared with before, delivering heartfelt service worthy of a luxury Hotel. I also deeply respect the way the General Manager leads from the front and engages sincerely with guests. Dining was another highlight—my experience at the teppanyaki restaurant (Shoryu by Ukai-tei) was exceptional. It went beyond the usual teppanyaki format, and I could feel their strong commitment to serving guests at the highest level; I left genuinely satisfied in both taste and spirit. This was my sixth stay, and each time I visit, I sense that the Hotel’s hospitality continues to evolve. It felt like a true expression of what real luxury means, making for a thoroughly fulfilling stay. About the reviewer: Certified sommelier. Stay during your birthday month
I was truly moved by the heartwarming message card and the surprise. I was delighted—despite my age—to receive so many congratulatory words from all the staff. I was also surprised that the information had been shared among them. Dinner at Briance, the lounge, and the bar were all excellent. With so many staff members, we received wonderful service. The conversation was so enjoyable that time flew by. Still, I was able to relax in my Room, and unwind in both the carbonated bath and the Onsen in such a beautiful space. Thanks to thoughtful hospitality and the outstanding art throughout the Hotel, I had a very comfortable stay. I stayed at several Hotels this month as well, and although it had been a month and a half since my last visit here, this is a Hotel that makes me want to stay every month. This Hotel keeps offering one thoughtfully crafted experience after another that you won’t find elsewhere, and there is so much high-quality art throughout that I discover something new each time—I never get tired of it even after multiple stays. The wonderful spaces accessible only to guests are also unlike other Hotels, and they were quiet and peaceful. I can clearly see why more guests from Japan and abroad are choosing this Hotel as their destination. Highly recommended.

A Dreamlike Stay
I expected it to be a lavish Hotel, but it exceeded my imagination. Checking in via a truly extraordinary corridor—unlike anything you find at most Hotels—made me feel as if I were stepping into another world. Once inside the Hotel, wherever I looked, I was surrounded by works of art and immersed in a special atmosphere. The staff were wonderful, and communication among them was excellent. We stayed to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and she was delighted to be congratulated in many places throughout the Hotel. I was also impressed that staff were stationed everywhere; whenever we looked like we might get lost in such a large Hotel, someone always guided us. We had Japanese cuisine for both dinner and breakfast, and the food and service were outstanding. The lounge also had a great atmosphere, with excellent light meals and drinks. After enjoying that special feeling over lunch, stepping outside the Hotel felt like waking up from a dream. Thank you very much.

Congratulations on your six-month anniversary. My fifth stay was wonderful as well.
Congratulations on your six-month anniversary. This is my fifth stay, and each visit leaves me deeply impressed by your ever-evolving hospitality. What stood out most was seeing the General Manager personally take the lead—bowing more deeply than anyone else and remaining attentive to the very end as guests are welcomed. That example clearly shapes the entire team: the staff’s genuine commitment to putting guests first shines through, creating a reassuring sense of consistency and a truly moving experience throughout the Hotel. I am confident that the General Manager’s philosophy, reflected in such an outstanding team, will continue to make this Hotel shine even brighter. I look forward to returning again. We stayed here to celebrate our anniversary.
We stayed this time to celebrate a special occasion. From the entrance onward, we were greeted everywhere with congratulatory words and heartfelt hospitality, which truly moved us. The hospitality at Hotels known for anniversary stays can be impressive, but this place felt exceptional—the warmth of the entire Hotel celebrating with us really came through. There were many surprises we never expected, and we could sense the staff’s great taste and calm confidence. Their desire to delight and welcome guests overflowed in everything they did, and it made us feel genuinely happy. I’m captivated by this beautiful, glamorous art museum Hotel and visit every month—this was my 8th visit, for a total of 10 nights. There are so many wonderful works that even someone like me who isn’t very knowledgeable about art never gets bored. Chatting with the staff is always so enjoyable and educational. This time’s dinner was at Jo (Japanese cuisine). It was my second time having both New Year’s osechi cuisine on January 1st and dinner there. The dishes were carefully prepared and delicious, the attentiveness was outstanding, and we had a wonderful time. I’ve tried all of the restaurants (as of January). Since shortly after opening, every restaurant has offered excellent food and service. I’ve visited some more than three times; everywhere keeps getting better and is always lively. The bar at night is lovely, with Moroccan lamp light and a calm atmosphere. The view of Nagoya Castle—along with the cocktails and service—is superb, so I highly recommend it. Staying here inspired me to visit Nagoya Castle again last month for the first time in a while. I also went to the Inami Sculpture Museum in Toyama Prefecture—the artisans there worked on restoring Nagoya Castle’s ranma transoms as well as creating sculptures for this Hotel. Hearing directly from the artists taught me how challenging it is to preserve traditional crafts. This Hotel is dazzling yet everything is authentically made. I feel it also fulfills an important role in preserving what should be protected. In the lounge there is an excellent booklet with photos of many artworks in the building along with careful explanations. Reading it conveys the artists’ passion. It’s rare to find a lounge that provides something like this—surely because the art throughout this Hotel is truly outstanding. When it first opened, I hesitated because “Castle” seemed like it had become an intimidatingly upscale Hotel—but its IKYU ratings are high, making it a source of pride for those of us from Aichi Prefecture. As someone who loves Hotels and hops from place to place, what stands out here is how well everyone works together; you can tell they have great relationships among themselves—and that shows in their service. Thank you very much for your warm consideration filled with kindness.

No repeat stay.
This was my second stay. The excitement I felt the first time was gone. The castle view was beautiful. Nagoya Castle was breathtaking both at night and in the morning. Inside the Hotel, there were too many staff members, and I couldn’t relax. The first-floor lounge was especially disappointing. The background music felt out of place. There were no cake sets, and the matcha was not good. The reception area was similar—I wish they would use high-quality local matcha from Nishio. Unfortunately, it didn’t make me want to come back again.

I believe this is the most luxurious Hotel in Japan.
This is a Hotel I truly want you to stay at. The corridors and staircases themselves are works of art—even more beautiful in person than on the Hotel website. Please experience it for yourself. The most recommended staircase is open to guests only! There are also famous restaurants on-site, and one night isn’t enough to fully enjoy the Hotel—you’ll want to stay two nights. The pool has an Egyptian-style vibe, and the Onsen Facility was great as well. The gym was spacious too! The Room comes with a balcony, so you can step outside and enjoy views of Nagoya Castle.

The cherry blossoms were in full bloom throughout the property.
Castle Espacio during cherry blossom season. As soon as I entered the entrance, cherry blossoms and bells gave me a warm welcome. In the Room, there was a lovely handwritten cherry blossom welcome message—it made me very happy. The pastries were also all about cherry blossoms, and the patissier’s sense of style was so wonderful that it felt almost too beautiful to eat. The thoughtful hospitality from Guest Relations was truly impressive. At the Garden Lounge, there was live jazz with guitar and saxophone. It was a great experience, and it was fully booked. Cherry blossoms were everywhere throughout the Hotel. It was still a little early for real blooms, but I could fully enjoy the feeling of hanami at this art museum-like Hotel. It’s a Hotel like an art museum that you can enjoy no matter what season you stay. The shoe-shine service is excellent. Even though some Hotels only accept leather shoes, my Jimmy Choo shoes looked like new again. As soon as I placed them in the butler box, they came to pick them up right away, and they were carefully finished in less than an hour. I was truly impressed—thank you very much.

Looking forward to your continued success.
Thank you, as always, for a wonderful stay. With this visit, I have successfully completed my fourth stay and have now visited all four venues included in the “Gastronomy Plan.” Once again, I was deeply impressed by the quality of the cuisine served at each restaurant—starting with Sushi Shunbi Nishikawa—as well as by the warm yet professional hospitality shown by the Hotel staff. It is rare not only in the Tokai region but even across Japan to find a place where such an exceptional range of dining experiences can be enjoyed within a single Hotel. Through this culinary journey, one thought stood out strongly: this Hotel has more than enough potential to become the world’s only property to house four Michelin-starred restaurants under one roof. As a devoted fan, I wholeheartedly support your uncompromising pursuit of excellence. Please achieve this unprecedented milestone from ESPACIO Nagoya before the rest of the world takes notice. I look forward to continuing to witness your evolution up close—and to savor it fully. Thank you for these wonderful memories. I am truly looking forward to my next stay.

A Luxurious, Art-Filled Hotel for a Special Occasion
One night wasn’t enough here. When the Hotel staff learned it was my birthday, they prepared a wonderful cake that exceeded my expectations, and I was truly moved. On top of that, I received warm congratulatory messages from everyone on the staff, making this an unforgettable stay. Thank you for your thoughtful hospitality. Owari Iki Inaba: Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and every one was excellent. The carefully selected rice was especially delicious, but I got so full from the side dishes that I couldn’t have seconds—something I truly regret. Plan with Dinner at Japanese Restaurant Jo Included
From the moment we arrived at the porte-cochère, we were warmly welcomed and smoothly guided to the 4th floor. We completed check-in in the lounge while enjoying champagne, then headed to our Room. We were truly touched by the heartfelt handwritten welcome message and fruit. Dinner was at Jo. The dishes were carefully prepared using selected local seasonal ingredients. Every course was wonderful, and you could really feel the chef’s passion behind it. The portions were generous and so delicious that we left completely satisfied. They also responded sincerely to our clumsy questions and taught us many things, which we greatly appreciated—we were able to apply them right away at home. We also had a great time chatting with a family from Taiwan who sat next to us at the counter, along with the staff. After that, they kindly guided us to the bar for their signature drinks. The bar had an impressive selection of alcohol—especially tequila and mezcal alone—with many varieties available. They answered even beginner questions without hesitation, and their warm personalities really came through. Combined with the atmosphere inside and the castle-view location, it was a lovely space. This Plan—including dinner, lounge access, signature drinks, and Hotel credit—is very appealing. Even though it was just one night, we felt deeply relaxed in this serene setting. When we left, we were seen off with seasonal flowers at the entrance (different from those at check-in) and the staff’s warm smiles as we departed the Hotel. It was a wonderful stay filled with thoughtful hospitality that made us want to return again. Thank you very much.

Savor the true essence of “Ukai-tei,” transcending genres.
At Espacio, which is becoming my go-to Accommodation, I chose “Ukai-tei” this time. The menu goes well beyond the usual teppanyaki framework, skillfully incorporating elements of Western and Chinese cuisine—simply outstanding. While making the most of each ingredient, the dishes entertained from multiple angles, and I could clearly feel the chef’s strong commitment to detail. Overall satisfaction was extremely high, and it was a wonderful, highly entertaining experience. That said, if the final dessert had just a bit more flair or creativity, it would have felt even more complete. Still, it was an exceptionally high-level teppanyaki experience. I’d been looking for...
I’d been looking forward to this since before the opening, and I made a Reservation for the Onsen Luxury City View Room to celebrate my birthday. To sum it up: thank you for creating such a wonderful Hotel in Nagoya!! I’d heard it was luxurious, but it exceeded my expectations and truly impressed me. Everywhere is sparkling and gorgeous—depending on how you look at it, it might even feel a bit like Dubai. They took great care of me even before my stay. The lounge is always calm, there are plenty of staff, the service is attentive, and above all the food and drinks are exceptionally high quality. Some hotels offer a noticeably reduced breakfast selection in the lounge compared with the main restaurant, but here it was excellent. The spa Facility was also outstanding—more luxurious and beautiful than the spa at Bvlgari Hotel Tokyo, which I visit often. Even in times like these, there were ample staff everywhere—the spa Facility, restaurants, and in-room dining—and service was consistently attentive. It’s a superb Hotel that stands up to ultra-luxury properties in Tokyo and Kyoto. Although this was the most affordable Room with an Onsen bath, it was a west- and north-facing corner Room toward Nagoya Station. I could see turrets, parts of the moat where ducks were swimming, and areas near the edge of Nagoya Castle grounds. The terrace was spacious as well; overall it was very comfortable and easy to use, and I was extremely satisfied.

A wonderful Hotel with beautiful art spaces and excellent amenities
The slippers are plush, stylish in black, and have a heel, making them easy to walk in. I heard they are the same specification as those at The St. Regis Rome. The toothpaste is also stylish—Italy’s MARVIS. The women’s amenities are organic MARVIS. The towels are organic as well: soft and comfortable Teneryta by Kowa. If you place your shoes in the butler box, they will be carefully polished and returned to you, and it was also a big plus that shoe trees were provided in the Room. With the Hotel credit, we enjoyed the in-room tequila Reposado. It was 100% agave with a wonderful aroma and tasted great. The bottle is decorated in cobalt blue on a white base, hand-painted by Mexican artisans—truly beautiful. I really appreciate the Hotel’s commitment to preserving traditional craftsmanship. The newly launched art tour was excellent and felt very fitting for an art museum Hotel. It was fun to learn things you wouldn’t get just by scanning QR codes yourself. I think it would feel even more premium if guests could also be shown areas limited to Accommodation guests only. I hope an in-house art map showing where each piece is located will be created in the future. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Bar
We experienced various issues during our stay, and we sincerely appreciate the support from the club lounge and staff in each department. We were also happy with the gift. Since you helped us with arrangements before our stay, we brought some sweets, but the person in charge was off that day. Thank you for your repeated assistance. We had an unpleasant experience at the bar, and it was disappointing when someone who seemed to be a senior staff member said, “Shall I make it?” in a condescending manner. I understand training new staff, but I believe it should be done away from guests, not at the counter. The new staff member was not at fault; I felt it was an issue with the approach to instruction. We were also disappointed with the front desk service.
