    First, the entrance ...

First, the entrance to the Hotel is very hard to find, and there is only minimal signage. Since you need to notice an additional door further in from the entrance, I think they should add more guidance or signage. (First-time visitors will likely struggle.) The staff service and the overall atmosphere of the Hotel felt quite matter-of-fact, and I didn’t really feel much hospitality. Because the entire Facility is new, its cleanliness stands out, but there seems to be room for improvement in housekeeping quality—for example, there was dust on the phone in the Room. Also, perhaps because aroma diffusers are placed around the property, a fairly strong scent fills the entire Facility, which may be a matter of personal preference. I don’t think it would be a top candidate for my next stay when visiting Naha.

    Users one month after opening

We stayed for three nights with lounge access. The Hotel had been open for about a month, but the staff service still felt awkward, with frequent waiting times and missed confirmations. It also seemed like the staff were gradually getting tired, even in their facial expressions. The Room was new and clean, but amenities were missing on the first day and then provided from the second day, and there were some areas where cleaning was not thorough. The lounge felt somewhat half-baked in both its hours and what was offered, and breakfast was exactly the same all three days, so we got tired of it. We were glad there were Okinawan dishes. However, even though it was during the Lunar New Year period, we heard a lot of Japanese, and people’s manners when using the Facility and during meals were good, which made it very comfortable—we could relax for the first time in a while. Since this is Okinawa, I hope it becomes a Hotel that more locals and Japanese guests can use. I think this Hotel will continue to improve from here. With hope and high expectations!

It’s dark and difficult for elderly guests to use.

It’s far too dark from the entrance to the elevator. The lobby floor is also concrete. Is it safe for children? The Room switches are hard to understand. Even though it’s only been a month, there was dirt in places in the Room and bathroom. Also, the pajama pants were dirty. There was hair on the toilet seat. The shower water pressure was good. The food was tasty, but considering the price, I probably wouldn’t stay again.

    It was wonderful.

In a word, this Accommodation was filled with a sense of beauty rooted in Okinawa’s culture and climate. In particular, the natural tones of the interior, the textures of the materials, and the softly rounded furniture design all came together perfectly—and everything felt genuinely authentic. It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed at such a wonderful Accommodation. (I visited Hawaii and stayed at a famous Hotel a week ago, but without question, this Accommodation wins hands down.) Breakfast was also excellent, with plenty of Okinawan dishes that felt wholesome and good for the body. Experiencing the staff’s warm hospitality made for an outstanding stay. Thank you for such a lovely time—I’d love to visit again!

I stayed here as a pre-trip Hotel in Okinawa. Check-in was after 8:00 p.m., but the location—within walking distance of Kokusai-dori and close to a Yui Rail station—allowed me to enjoy the nighttime atmosphere of Kokusai-dori. It was a calm, relaxing Hotel where I could unwind without feeling the bustle of central Naha, and I had a very comfortable stay. It felt like a waste for just an overnight stop, so next time I’d like to visit on a Plan that lets me fully enjoy the Hotel at a more leisurely pace.

    No repeat stays.

Since it wasn’t the peak tourist season, I made a 2-night Reservation starting on the second day after opening for my family, who wanted to fully enjoy Kokusai-dori. After hearing about the terrible experience they had, I felt it wasn’t right to immediately post a Review, so I contacted the Hotel via its inquiry form. No response even after five days. Then I decided to post a rating on Google, but even after two weeks it was still ignored. Because this time I booked through IKYU, I received an automated email from IKYU encouraging me to post a Review. When I checked, I saw that the Hotel was replying to comments on IKYU!! So they ignore direct inquiries to the Hotel? Are replies on IKYU automatic?? As other Reviews also mention, despite being a new Hotel there are increasing comments pointing out poor hygiene and low staff standards. Based on this experience as well, it is nowhere near 5-star or 4-star—it's below business-hotel level. I booked hoping for something special, and choosing a Multiple Night Stay just to avoid the hassle of moving ended up being nothing but regret. A high-class hotel around Kokusai-dori offers far better value and is much more relaxing. I can understand some inexperience right after opening—but ignoring guests is unacceptable. This kind of insincerity reflects the Hotel’s culture going forward. Not worth paying for; this is a Hotel that doesn’t treat guests like guests. If you only care about the location, brand name, and surface-level cleanliness from the outside—and since it isn’t that expensive—it may be fine for you. For me, it was so unhygienic that it didn’t feel like a newly opened place at all; it was disgusting and I couldn’t stay there comfortably.

    New Hotel

While looking for a Hotel for my trip, I learned that a new Hotel had opened and made a Reservation. Since it had only just opened, the Facility was brand-new and very clean. The staff were friendly, and I had a comfortable stay. At check-in, they carefully explained that cars cannot exit the parking lot until 7:00 a.m., and that if the lot is full, you will need to use nearby parking. It is a mechanical system, so when it gets busy it can take time to enter or exit, but we were able to park smoothly. The room we stayed in only had a small space to hang clothes on hangers and no drawers at all like a dresser for luggage storage, so it may feel slightly inconvenient for longer stays. I really liked that the bathroom and toilet were separate. It was also nice that pajamas were provided. Breakfast included Okinawan dishes and tacos, and everything was delicious. It’s very convenient as it’s just a short walk to Kokusai-dori Street. I would like to stay again.

    As the Hotel has onl...

As the Hotel has only just opened, everything was clean overall. It was unusual to see the bath mat rolled up and placed on the floor in front of the bathroom door. At check-in, we were told about their SDGs initiative, such as not providing bottled water. However, there was no 안내 that a key card is required to use the elevator. Since more Hotels are adopting this system these days, it may be fine for those who already know, but I saw some guests who were confused and didn’t know how to use it. There wasn’t a staff member stationed by the elevators to assist, so I’m not sure whether they simply forgot to explain it or if this is not normally communicated. Also, on the night of our second day, there was a false fire alarm. While relaxing in our Room, a piercing alarm sounded throughout the building. The cause was steam from another guest’s bath triggering the fire alarm sensor. I think it took about an hour and a half before things settled down and the alarm finally stopped. Perhaps because they have only recently opened, I felt concerned that their emergency response took too long. If it was due to steam from a guest’s bath, it isn’t necessarily the Hotel’s fault; however, I do question whether their follow-up—such as announcements to other guests—was handled appropriately and promptly. At checkout we did receive an apology regarding the incident, along with a written apology from the General Manager. Only the person who assisted us at checkout apologized; although there were other staff members available nearby, none of them said anything. It’s not that I need an apology from everyone, but it did make me wonder whether there is a shared sense of accountability across the Hotel. This ended up being long, but I hope they will build on their strengths and continue improving where needed.

    It was wonderful and convenient!

I stayed about a week after the opening, so everything was very clean. The hotel was filled with congratulatory Phalaenopsis orchids, and the fragrance was wonderful. The Yui Rail station is very close, with a direct line to Naha Airport. I also walked to Kokusai-dori. We stayed in a corner twin Room with three people; having two sinks was convenient, and the loungewear provided made it comfortable. Since we were there, we had the buffet breakfast at “Terrace Seiryu” on the morning of checkout. It was packed with Okinawan dishes and we were very satisfied.

Spotlessly clean and in an excellent location.

Excellent location—clean and wonderful. The parking fee was 2,000 yen per night. There are no convenience stores on the way from the Yui Rail station to the Hotel, so it’s best to buy what you need before getting on the Yui Rail. The pool is clean and there is also a jacuzzi, but it’s very small and not really suitable for relaxing. The bathroom sink lighting only shines from above, so it’s dim and hard to see.

    Newly opened and very clean.

It was extremely convenient, located right in front of Kencho-mae Station. As it had just opened, everything was very clean, and being surrounded by many Phalaenopsis orchids with a lovely scent was wonderful. The front desk staff were very friendly and excellent. I stayed in a Superior Twin. The Room layout was efficient, and the bath and toilet were separate. On the other hand, it was a bit difficult to find space to place suitcases or handbags. ● Lighting Because strong spot-type LED lighting is used, the sink area had limited brightness and a narrow lighting range, so it felt too dark for shaving or applying makeup. ● Air conditioning Cooling works very well, but when you close the door between the bedroom and the hallway, there is a roaring sound of airflow through gaps—like during a typhoon. Even lowering the fan speed doesn’t make the noise go away easily. ● Room service Since there is no room service, if you want something to eat you need to go to the restaurant on the 7th floor or leave the Hotel. ● Housekeeping I think it’s because the staff are still getting used to things... but many strange things happened: During my 3-night stay, some kind of towel was missing every day. We stayed as two people, but only one person’s toothbrush and bath towel were put away while the other person’s were left out. Used glasses were put back as-is; even after telling someone like a supervisor, they insisted they had been washed and would not replace them. It was obvious because dried juice remained stuck on the bottom. A breakfast voucher that I left on the desk was thrown away... ● Facility There are multiple coin laundry machines, and it’s convenient that you can check how busy they are from your Room TV. Since it was winter I didn’t use the pool, but it seems you have to cross in front of reception from your Room route and pass through an elevator hall used by outside visitors. You may need to be mindful of what you wear when going to/from the pool.

I stayed here shortly after it opened, and the service was exceptionally attentive—I’d love to stay again. The guest room, inspired by the Ryukyu Kingdom, had a wonderful atmosphere and was very relaxing. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with local dishes like goya champuru and yushi tofu, and I was very satisfied.

A New Landmark Hotel in Naha

Lately I’ve been staying only at Business Hotels in Naha, so this was my first stay at a City Hotel in quite a while. I stayed at this Hotel, which has just newly opened. This time I did not add breakfast, stayed on the standard floor rather than the executive floor, and hardly used the shared spaces, so I feel it’s hard to give an overall assessment until I’ve stayed a few more times. With that in mind, these are simply my first impressions. I have stayed twice at The Royal Park Hotel’s Facility in Fukuoka, and my impression was that it felt like an upscale Business Hotel. The service was attentive, and although compact, it left me with the impression of a highly satisfying stay. This time, since it is “Iconic,” an even more premium brand within The Royal Park Hotel group, expectations naturally rise. Above all, the location is excellent! It’s right in front of Kencho-mae Station, and Kokusai-dori is also very close. The entrance has a high ceiling, and its chic atmosphere heightens the excitement for the stay ahead. Take the direct elevator to the front desk on the 7th floor. When you step out of the elevator, there is a banyan tree, creating an open and airy feel. It’s an impressive City Hotel. The Room on the standard floor is compact, but it feels cohesive with attention to detail throughout—overall, a high-quality guest room. There are a few things I’m curious about, but I think I’ll need to stay a few more times to know for sure, so I’ll leave that for next time. While Accommodation Fees in Naha have been rising recently, this time I booked an opening commemorative Plan, so it felt like very good value. Compared with nearby Hotels such as Exes Naha, Collective, Southwest Grand Hotel, Rihga Royal Gran Okinawa (Naha), if prices remain around this level going forward, I feel this would be the easiest to use and offer the highest satisfaction. That said, since I haven’t tried any dining yet, this impression applies only for No Meals Included stays. As it has only just opened, I’m looking forward to seeing how it develops from here. Thank you very much.

    I stayed here for bu...

I stayed here for business (as a base for client entertainment). The Hotel is new and the Facilities were very clean, but there were several important points I wish I had known beforehand, so I’m sharing them here. First, about parking. The affiliated parking lot does not allow exit until 7:00 a.m. I was told this is due to security restrictions because the parking structure is adjacent to the Bank of Ryukyus. If you need to depart early in the morning, I recommend considering an alternative nearby parking lot in advance. In Okinawa, getting around by rental car is standard, so depending on your plans this can be a major limitation. I was also told it is basically difficult to change these hours. Had I known in advance, I could have chosen a different parking option, so if you have a similar schedule, I recommend confirming ahead of time. I also felt the internal layout requires attention. From the lobby (7th floor) to the 1st floor and basement parking area, there are limited elevators, and there is effectively only one elevator that provides direct access to the parking route. This stay was in February during a relatively quiet period, but there was still some waiting time. During peak seasons it will likely be crowded. Next, about on-site services: - No room service - The on-site bar has last order at 22:30 and closes at 23:00 - After that, you cannot order alcohol or beverages to your room If you want to relax and enjoy time in your room, it’s safer to prepare food and drinks in advance. I also used the on-site sushi restaurant; despite being counter-style seating, staff interaction was minimal, so if you expect an attentive yet calm atmosphere you may feel a mismatch. I also felt there is room for improvement with the breakfast buffet. Rather than food quality itself, the flow/layout was hard to understand and at times inconvenient. The Hotel itself is new and very appealing in terms of hardware/facilities. However, service operations and guidance still feel like they are developing. Considering it has only recently opened, I rated it 2 stars. If services improve over time, I believe it could become a much better stay.

    Luxury feel

Because parking is valet-operated and can take time, please allow extra time if you are in a hurry. The rooms feature a modern Japanese style and are extremely comfortable. The bathroom is separate from the toilet, making it feel like staying in a private villa. Highly recommended.
