    We stayed on the 13t...

    We stayed on the 13th floor, and the Room was spacious enough for the three of us (my wife and our 4-year-old son) to relax comfortably. The interior was stylish too, and my wife loved it. Free parking was included. We chose a Plan with complimentary drinks from check-in until 21:30, and being able to have alcohol as well was fantastic. We also had dinner there and it was delicious. I wonder if non-staying guests come too? We stayed on a Sunday and it was fully booked. I can see why—it really was that good. (At check-in, it seemed like some guests who weren’t staying were there for afternoon tea.) Spacious Room, great food, complimentary drinks (including alcohol), interior design, amenities, and free parking— with all of that included at this price, my wife and I agreed it felt like an amazing deal. When the Hotel and food are good, the whole trip feels better, doesn’t it? We visited The Railway Museum in Omiya, and if anyone around me ever goes there, I’d strongly recommend this Hotel! I don’t usually write Reviews—and honestly I’m the type who finds it a hassle—but I just had to write this one lol Also, the service was excellent! It wasn’t us, but when a man at the counter ordered a bottled Guinness and they opened it, it overflowed… I thought “oh no,” but first the staff member behind the counter responded immediately. Then someone else came over to take his coat and explain something… And then another person (I think) came again to give a further explanation/apology and handed him something as an apology gesture. With that level of care, I don’t think anyone would get upset lol

    This is our third st...

    This is our third stay at this Hotel—twice before as a couple, and this time with my three sisters, staying here just to enjoy the Hotel itself. Thank you for your sincere hospitality; it’s easy to relax here while still enjoying a special, out-of-the-ordinary atmosphere. We will definitely return.

    An exceptional space and dining experience. Completely satisfied in every way.

    Not only were the Room furnishings and views wonderful, but the calm atmosphere throughout the Hotel was exceptional, allowing us to enjoy a truly luxurious private time. During our stay, the staff were incredibly kind and warm, and we felt completely at ease. We used the restaurant for breakfast, and with fresh ingredients, a variety of dishes, and service delivered with genuine smiles from the staff, we started the day feeling energized. Both the service and Facility were first-class, and it has become a favorite Hotel that we would love to stay at again.

    It was a Hotel I would like to visit again.

    I stayed here on a business trip, and I’m grateful to the colleague who introduced me to such a wonderful Hotel in Saitama. It’s also close to the station, and once inside the Hotel, a stylish space opened up. The Room had been renovated, the bed was soft and comfortable, and I was especially happy with the great selection of women’s amenities. I personally prefer stronger shower water pressure, so I gave it a 4. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, everything was delicious, and it made me feel happy from the morning. I’d love to stay again when I visit Saitama. Thank you for your hospitality!

    We are fully satisfied with the Room, service, and meals.

    The Room design was wonderful, and it instantly lifted my mood the moment I walked in. We stayed as a group of three, and even with three beds lined up, there was still plenty of space—perfect for a girls’ trip. The atmosphere also made you want to take photos, and I felt comfortable throughout the entire stay. The amenities were well stocked with everything we needed, and I really appreciated that items women will love—like facial toner—were provided in the Room. Natural light poured in through the large windows, and it was especially memorable being able to wake up to gentle morning brightness. It’s also convenient to access with just one train from central Tokyo, and the location is easy to find even for first-time visitors. Having a convenience store inside the building was also helpful for small purchases like late-night snacks. From the moment we arrived, the staff assisted us right away, and thanks to their thoughtful attention to detail, we had a comfortable stay from start to finish. The meals were satisfying in both taste and portion size, and we were able to enjoy them at a relaxed pace.

    The Room interior wa...

    The Room interior was modern, adorable, and stylish, yet it still felt like a relaxing space where you can unwind as if you were at home! The bathroom was also spacious, and I was happy to find a chair by the sink so I could do my makeup. I also had breakfast the next morning. It was a luxurious buffet, and even though I don’t usually eat much in the morning, I ate until I was full that day. The seafood rice bowl in particular was delicious—I almost couldn’t believe you could take as much as you wanted. I highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying nearby!

    I was able to spend an exceptional time in a comfortable space.

    This was my second stay in the Corner Suite Twin. It’s simply a wonderfully comfortable space. Being on the 14th floor, the night view is beautiful. Natural interior design, beautifully scented amenities, and excellent basic skincare products. A quiet evening spent playing my favorite music through the Marshall speaker and relaxing with soft lighting. It made for a truly high-quality girls’ trip. The free-flow drinks at the restaurant, including alcohol, were also a great perk. The fridge was stocked with beer and 100% straight juice. The tea selection—sencha, herbal tea, and more—was extensive, and everything was high quality. This Hotel is a hidden gem. It’s a bit of a walk from the station, but that also means a peaceful setting where you can truly unwind. All of the staff were full of hospitality. My friend and I agreed we will definitely come back again. Thank you to everyone on the Hotel team.

    The Accommodation, meals, and staff were all perfect.

    The Hotel Room was spotless, incredibly spacious, and very comfortable. Above all, I was impressed by how clean it felt! We had dinner in Tokyo this time, but we enjoyed breakfast at the restaurant. The interior was lovely, the chairs were comfortable, and we could relax and take our time. In particular, we enjoyed the Omiya Napolitan and the wide variety of ochazuke options. I stayed with my mother, and the staff’s service was excellent and made us feel very welcome. I can’t believe such a great Hotel is available in Saitama at such an affordable price—I will definitely come again!

    A spacious Room even for three guests. Beautiful interior!

    I stayed here because I had a business meeting nearby. I’ve stayed at other Hotels in the same group in different areas before, and when I found out there was one in Saitama, I made a Reservation. The newly renovated guest room floor had lovely interior design. I stayed with two other members of my work team, and they arranged our Room as a triple. Even with the sofa converted into a sofa bed, the Room was still spacious, and the bathroom was large as well—very convenient for three women to use. In the morning, beautiful sunlight streamed into the Room, which made it even nicer! Breakfast was buffet-style with a wide variety of Japanese and Western options, and everything was delicious.

    Spacious, comfortable, and relaxing stay

    I stayed here on a business trip to Saitama.\nIt’s just a short walk from Saitama-Shintoshin Station. Although it was my first stay, there were clear signs, and even with a suitcase the flat route made it easy to find and arrive.\nMy Room was on the 13th floor with a great view. The corridors and interior were clean, and the bed was spacious and very comfortable.\nA humidifier was provided, the amenities were well stocked, and the bed was exceptionally comfortable.\nFor breakfast I chose the Western-style restaurant. The selection was extensive, and everything from salads to main dishes was delicious. It’s mainly Western food, but you can also make your own seafood rice bowl—very satisfying in the morning! I also appreciated the takeout coffee service.\nThe breakfast venue was almost full, but there was no waiting and everything ran smoothly. The Room was so quiet that I didn’t even notice how many guests were staying until after I woke up—it was that comfortable.\nI’ll be back!

    Stylish design and comfortable service!

    From the moment you step into the lobby, it smells wonderful, and the space feels luxurious and stylish. The Room on the 14th floor also had a beautiful design.\n\nThe Facility is new and photogenic from every angle, so it’s highly recommended for anyone who enjoys taking photos. You can also reach it from Saitama-Shintoshin Station via a covered walkway, which is a great point for staying dry even on rainy days.

    Disappointing Hotel

    At first glance, the Hotel seems lovely, but there are several disappointing aspects. We were upgraded to a spacious twin room, and while we had no complaints about the furnishings or cleanliness, the separate toilet from the bathroom was a welcome feature; however, the height of the hard step at the entrance was surprising. In an era where barrier-free design is standard, this felt like a puzzling choice in design. Additionally, the restaurant where we had breakfast had a high open ceiling that felt pleasant; however, perhaps due to insufficient air conditioning capacity, it felt cold around our feet. It seemed this issue was noticed as there were portable heaters placed around... Whether it was due to budget or construction time constraints is unclear, but I thought there were several regrettable design choices made.

    Thank you for your hospitality once again. Overall, I was satisfied as usual, but I would like to point out one issue. At check-in, the staff at the front desk seemed inexperienced and mentioned that there were no available upgraded Rooms despite confirming later that there were vacancies on the day. As this is part of the membership benefits, a certain level of expectation is natural, so I hope for more accurate handling in such cases.

    It was excellent.

    The room was spacious, with a large dressing area, a wide variety of drinks, and amenities that even included beauty serums—overall, an excellent room. I also appreciated the wall charging options with both USB and Type-C ports. The breakfast menu was delightful, featuring items like acai and the option to make bagel sandwiches. I definitely want to stay here again. The only downsides were the weak water pressure in the shower and the slightly loud volume of the BGM in the breakfast restaurant.

    Convenient City Hotel

    The free flow is highly satisfying. It is directly connected to Saitama-Shintoshin via a pedestrian deck, located roughly between Saitama-Shintoshin and Yono. The Room is spacious and clean.

    It was a comfortable Room.

    Although we arrived about 30 minutes later than the scheduled time of 11:00 PM, the staff welcomed us without any unpleasant attitude. I stayed with my son, and since it was so affordable, I expected it to be a business hotel class accommodation. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the very clean front desk and lobby. The room had a separate entrance area where you take off your shoes and a carpeted area, which made it feel very clean and comfortable. The amenities were well-equipped, providing both satisfaction and great value for money. It has become one of my favorite accommodations. There were also guests holding weddings at this hotel; even though I booked last minute for our trip, I regret underestimating this place initially. It is truly a hotel that I would love to stay at again if given the opportunity!

    It was a much more wonderful Hotel than I imagined!!

    The bathroom with a washing area and the direct connection to the station via the pedestrian deck were the deciding factors. We made a reservation for two rooms, one for each of us, and we were both thrilled upon entering our rooms! The beautiful autumn foliage view from the window, the large king-size bed that felt too luxurious for just one person, the spacious and convenient closet and washroom, the refrigerator with free drinks—everything created a perfectly satisfying and happy space. The free-flow service included sparkling wine, which elevated our excitement before the live event. The hamburger we had alongside was juicy and incredibly delicious. Breakfast was so abundant that we couldn’t finish it all, and my friend was delighted to try an acai bowl for the first time. We will definitely stay here again during our next live event visit. Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    I have stayed at various accommodations, so please understand that I may make comparisons. I stayed here for a LIVE event. It might have been just bad timing, but the restaurant during lunch hours had a 2-hour wait, which was not feasible for me. I gave up and tried a Japanese restaurant instead, but it took quite some time for the food to arrive, and I ended up leaving without having the set dessert due to time constraints. I spent nearly 2 hours there in total, but since there was a large group present, I figured it was just bad timing and let it go. Honestly, this experience on the first day dampened my mood a bit; however, the room was quiet and comfortable. That said, having only one face towel wasn’t ideal as I didn’t like using it after handwashing and then again after washing my face—it would’ve been nice to have two towels available. It takes about 10 minutes to get to Saitama Super Arena from here—not exactly "close." Perhaps this impression is because there are no dining options on the way back to the hotel. If you can’t use the hotel’s restaurant facilities like in my case, walking back and forth from nearby stations becomes inconvenient; if there were more dining options nearby, I might consider staying again. On the second day though, I used the free-flow dinner option at their restaurant—it was great that we could finally enjoy it! Overall, it's a good accommodation. Having my suitcase delivered ahead of time also helped me out greatly!

    The wrong dish was served at the restaurant. When I said, "I didn't order this," the response was, "That's what I thought I heard." In other words, the blame was placed on the customer. A reluctant offer to remake the dish was made. This is unacceptable. It left me with a terrible impression. Such handling is unacceptable for a Hotel restaurant.

    Weekday Relaxing Staycation! Plan with 3 Great Benefits

    I planned a weekday staycation as I was close to becoming an IKYU Diamond Member and stayed at "THE MARK GRAND HOTEL" for the first time. The plan included three great perks: free parking, complimentary minibar, and free-flow drinks. <Check-in & Room> I arrived at the hotel just before 7 PM. Since it was a weekday, the parking lot had availability, and check-in was smooth. The room, newly renovated in 2022, was very clean with a large TV and sophisticated interior design that left a strong impression. <Exquisite Dinner with Free-Flow Drinks> Dinner was served at the first-floor restaurant "sereno." With complimentary free-flow drinks including alcohol, I ordered à la carte dishes. The "Eggplant and Smoked Cheese Arrabbiata Spaghettini" stood out as exceptionally delicious—far exceeding my expectations! Other dishes like "Savoy Ham," "Shrimp Ajillo," and "Grilled Beef Chuck Flap" were all flavorful and paired perfectly with drinks. From Italian beer “PERONI” to wine, Guinness beer, and highballs—I enjoyed them all to my heart's content. <Breakfast & Hotel Observations> Breakfast the next morning was also served at "sereno." While it wasn’t crowded due to being a weekday, some items like bagels, sausages, sweet shrimp dishes, or coffee took time to be replenished since I went later in the morning—a slight disappointment. However, items such as “Omiya Napolitan,” “Inca Awakening German Potatoes,” or bagels were very tasty. Interestingly enough (as I learned later), Soup Stock Tokyo baby food is also available here—making it family-friendly for guests with children. Lastly—one more observation: The elevator hall on the first floor felt slightly confusing as entrances for both reception/front desk versus restaurant weren’t immediately clear; brighter lighting near reception could help improve navigation ease further! Overall though—from cleanliness within rooms through standout dinner quality alongside excellent drink options—it proved highly satisfying!

    Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

    Thank you for a relaxing and refreshing stay with the Diamond Member Plan from IKYU, featuring a 1:00 PM check-in on the Grand Floor. The room was spacious with a large smart TV, Bluetooth speaker, complimentary refrigerator, and separate toilet—everything was excellent. While some staff seemed less experienced, their sincere and proactive service made the experience pleasant. The meals were generally delicious considering the price point, and I appreciated the thoughtful variety in the breakfast buffet. For reference—not major complaints but areas for improvement—the water pressure in the bath was slightly weak. My only real disappointment was with the coffee at the restaurant; it resembled American coffee without much acidity, bitterness, richness, or aroma. If I visit Saitama again in the future, I would like to stay here once more. Thank you!

    Thank you once again for your hospitality. This place is conveniently close to the city center and extremely comfortable, making it highly valuable. While I don't want it to become too famous, I also hope it gains the attention it deserves. I strongly recommend visiting at least once. Thank you again for everything!

    Enjoy access to the pool.

    I stayed here to help my niece with her swimming practice. The pool from Central Sports is located downstairs, so it was convenient to rest directly in the Hotel Room after finishing. It would have been nice if there was something like a one-day free pass for the pool; I hope you can consider this. There was also a free drink service, and I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I would love to stay here again!

    Comfortable

    Stayed for two days alone for the RIZIN event at Saitama Super Arena. The Room was on the 14th floor with a great view. The refrigerator was stocked with 2 beers, 2 juices, and 2 bottles of water. Outside the refrigerator, there were coffee, tea, and an additional 2 bottles of water provided for each day—more than enough to drink! It was very helpful in the hot weather. There were also various amenities like basic skincare products and brushes, making my stay very comfortable! I will definitely use this place again!

    Wonderful Hotel

    I was on a business trip to Tokyo and decided to stay in the Grand King Room of this hotel, which is 30 minutes by train, rather than paying the same amount for a small room in a business hotel in central Tokyo. Perhaps the price range is due to its slightly distant location from the station, but I was amazed by the facility that rivals luxury international hotels. As for customer service, it might feel slightly simple if you compare it to so-called first-class hotels. However, the staff at the main dining during free-flow were very friendly, and I had an enjoyable hour at the bar counter. Those dissatisfied with service might not be considering this price range (personally, even at 50,000 yen per night with this level of service, I would have no complaints). I also appreciated small touches like free beer and juice in the room's refrigerator being replenished daily and having wine openers and glasses readily available—showing how accommodating this hotel is. It was such an excellent hotel that I made another reservation for my next business trip during my stay!

    The room is thoughtfully designed, maintaining comfort despite its compact size. There are wonderful perks such as free-flow drinks and complimentary parking, showcasing attention to detail. I tried a room with only a shower, but the water pressure was low, and there were no chairs or similar amenities, giving it an international hotel feel. Next time, I would like to try a larger room with a bathtub. This type of room should be experienced by staff for feedback and improvement. Slightly disappointing but still has potential for enhancement.

    Noise disturbance from late night on the second night

    This was my first time staying here. It was convenient for car users and overall had a good atmosphere. However, one issue was that on the second night, from around 11 PM to 4 AM, there were intermittent metallic noises like clashing or scraping, which made it difficult to sleep well. My Room was next to the elevator, and the noise seemed to come from the wall on the elevator side. I informed the front desk during checkout, but they said they were unsure of the cause at that time. I would like to stay again in the future and hope to know what caused this noise.
