    Warm snow

    This was my third stay, and I was very satisfied. Sauna → Beer → Beer → Beer Finished with ramen. The room was comfortable as I could stay barefoot!

    Chiharu Matsuyama Concert 2025

    I stayed for one night in a Room with a private sauna. The layout of the Room was spacious and comfortable, and being able to use the sauna 24/7 was fantastic. The lounge area was also relaxing and enjoyable. However, it was disappointing that beer was sold out and light snacks were unavailable during late hours. Unfortunately, I missed the late-night ramen as I returned after 11 PM due to an extended live event, which was very disappointing. Regarding amenities, as a sauna enthusiast, having more towels available would greatly enhance the experience and make it even more enjoyable. While many places have similar amenity offerings nowadays, focusing on improving this aspect could be a way to stand out.

    I visit Hokkaido 2-3...

    I visit Hokkaido 2-3 times a year and often stay in Sapporo, but since many hotels near the station were fully booked, I chose this Hotel based on good Reviews. Although check-in could be done via QR code and I registered in advance, the QR code disappeared when it was time to check in, so I had to re-enter my information. Despite specifying "2 females" during the Reservation process, staff assumed we were male based on appearance. While there was an explanation about Facility usage, there was no guidance regarding the elevators. The Facility is newly opened but has a step in the toilet area that seems inconvenient for elderly guests. The cups had an oily film that made me uncomfortable, so I washed them again at the sink. There was long hair left on the sofa which felt unpleasant. The sauna was relaxing; however, I don't think I'll use this Hotel again.

    The sauna is excellent.

    The sauna room, rinse station, cold bath, and outdoor relaxation space are compactly arranged with a perfect flow. The temperature, humidity, and size of the sauna room are ideal, making this the number one spot among hotels in Sapporo. All the conditions for ultimate relaxation are met, including soothing background music. If I may suggest an improvement, it would be great if at least hand towels were provided in the changing area for a hotel of this class. The lounge was enjoyable with chilled draft beer available; however, it would be even better if there were more snacks to pair with drinks beyond just bread and donuts. I look forward to staying here again!

    New Hotel

    The location is a bit hard to find, and I ended up driving around in circles. Most multi-story parking lots were not accessible, so I had to use a nearby parking lot, which was disappointing. When I went to drop off my luggage just before check-in time, I was lucky enough to be shown to the Room early. However, it took some time at the reception desk, which was slightly disappointing. I didn't use the bath this time, so no evaluation for that—I'd like to try it next time. If the price were a bit lower, I'd consider staying again.

    It was excellent.

    I stayed at a sauna-focused Hotel, and it was absolutely amazing. The public bath had dim lighting overall with some indirect lighting, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. The Onsen was fantastic! The sauna was around 90 degrees Celsius but felt even hotter. The cold bath was 18 degrees Celsius—while I thought it could be colder, it seemed perfect for those not used to it. Outdoor relaxation at night featured soft lighting and the sound of water, making it very soothing. In the morning, sunlight streaming in made for a refreshing experience. The guests were mostly younger and seemed to be sauna enthusiasts; I even had some casual conversations in the sauna that gave me a sense of unique travel encounters. I opted for the lounge access as an add-on, which turned out to be great—heading straight there after bathing for draft beer was perfect! They also offered mock "Oro-pon" drinks (a mix of orange juice and sports drink), along with moist donuts and muffins (unlike typical dry lounge pastries), which were delicious. Compared to other Hotels' lounges, this one stayed open late into the night, so I could enjoy another drink after returning from outings—a great option for those who enjoy alcohol. Replenishments were quick when requested by phone. Their nighttime miso ramen was authentic and delicious as well. Since they had just opened, the price was incredibly reasonable—it felt like excellent value for money! However, I did feel slightly confused when requesting an extra blanket because there wasn’t a phone in my Room; perhaps explaining where phones are located during check-in would help. Although it's slightly away from downtown Sapporo's bustling area, the baths and saunas were so good that I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit!

    The Room and Lounge are Excellent

    This time, I stayed in a premium room with a sauna. At first, I wondered if I would even use the sauna in the room, but having it made my stay at the accommodation much more enjoyable! The temperature could be raised high enough, and the löyly experience was fantastic. It was spacious enough for two people to enjoy without feeling cramped. The room itself was large and comfortable, with a design where you take off your shoes to enter, giving it a Ryokan-like atmosphere that was very charming. The lounge offered draft Sapporo Classic beer as well as a variety of soft drinks. There were also light snacks and sweets available—more than sufficient for complimentary service. Although the public bath was compact, it had both a sauna and relaxation space which were great features. However, there were drainage issues in the washing area; water pooled at your feet and soap residue didn’t drain properly. I initially thought this might only be an issue in the women’s bath, but my partner mentioned that it was also happening in the men’s bath—so it seems like this is an issue with drainage throughout the building. It’s unfortunate for such nice baths to have this problem; please consider improving this as it's unhygienic. As for parking facilities on-site: staff assistance requires calling them over manually each time—it would be more convenient if there were an intercom system installed instead. Additionally, since it's mechanical parking with low height limits, many cars may not fit. That said—I frequently stay at hotels for both work and leisure purposes—and overall found this accommodation highly satisfying! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Hokkaido!

    Close to Susukino St...

    Close to Susukino Station, the room features an artificial Onsen, and being newly opened, I decided to stay here. The room is more spacious than a Business Hotel, and the bathroom in the room is also larger. Guests can use the lounge where a limited selection of items is available, including draft beer. The parking lot uses a tower system; SUVs with higher heights cannot be parked there. There are about three flat parking spaces available, so arriving early is recommended. The Accommodation Fee is comparable to that of a Business Hotel, making it an affordable option for casual stays.

    It was excellent.

    This was my first time staying here. I walked from Sapporo Station after stopping for lunch on the way, and it felt a bit far. However, I noticed there were free rental bicycles available, which I thought was a great feature even though I didn’t use them. Check-in had a modern feel—perhaps challenging for older guests but likely appealing to younger ones. The sauna and large public bath were very relaxing, and both the ramen and breakfast were delicious, allowing me to enjoy my stay at a leisurely pace. Thank you! As for breakfast, the entrance to the dining area didn’t quite have a restaurant-like atmosphere, which seemed like a missed opportunity. However, everything else more than made up for it. I would love to stay here again if given the chance!

    Please provide a smart TV.

    Positive Points: The Room's bathtub is spacious and comfortable. The lounge food is excellent for this price range. Lounge allows the use of loungewear. Partitions in the public bath washing area prevent water splashes from others. Suggestions for Improvement: Upgrade to a smart TV! Offer a choice between half pants and regular pants for loungewear. Organize the queue flow before breakfast venue opening. Even with self-checkout, it would be nice to hear a "thank you" if staff are present at the counter—conversations among staff can wait until after guests leave. Unfortunate Issues Beyond Control: Too many steps in the public bath, which could be challenging for elderly or physically impaired guests. Only two elevators available, causing delays and congestion when heading to the lounge.

    Clean and comfortable

    I heard about the opening through work and made a Reservation. It's rare to find a Room that accommodates six people, so it was very convenient. The family suite was very clean, and the price was quite reasonable for Golden Week. The highlight is the large public bath. The dim lighting adds a stylish touch, and even without the sauna, it was highly satisfying. While I think the staff are still in training, I hope they can improve the lounge service. It would be great if they could restock items before being asked. As for breakfast, it felt slightly lacking without a main dish. Although the concept of dairy farming and livestock is interesting, I wouldn't mind paying more for an enhanced selection of meat dishes or cheese. Overall, despite my lengthy review, everyone enjoyed their stay due to its great value for money. We hope to use this place again when we visit Hokkaido next time!

    A newly opened Hotel from last month

    I stayed here because I was curious about this accommodation, which just opened last month. Was the building renovated from an apartment or a hotel? Both the exterior and the room were new and stylish, and the room I reserved had a large round bathtub, which was very satisfying. The staff provided excellent service. Since it’s in Sapporo, Hokkaido, I had high expectations for breakfast, but it felt more like that of a business hotel. The location is closer to Hosui Susukino Subway Station than expected and is quiet as it’s away from the downtown area. I would love to use this accommodation again when visiting Sapporo.

    First Stay!

    The room was a stylish Japanese-Western style, offering a stunning night view of Sapporo through the window. Spending time together while gazing at the night scenery was truly romantic. The room also featured a sauna, which allowed us to relax and refresh while enjoying a gentle sweat—absolutely amazing! After the sauna, we cooled down and leisurely admired the night view, leaving us completely satisfied. Although we didn’t opt for meals this time, the hotel lounge was fantastic. The menu was simple with beer, wine, and sake only; however, it included local craft beer and sake from nearby breweries. We enjoyed comparing drinks with my partner. The lounge had a calm atmosphere where we could have relaxed conversations against the backdrop of city lights—perfect for celebrating a birthday. We dined outside but found that the hotel’s location near central Sapporo made it convenient for dinner in Susukino or strolling around Odori Park. This was our first stay here, but thanks to the cozy lounge ambiance and in-room sauna, my partner’s birthday became an unforgettable memory. We’re already planning to return during winter for the Snow Festival season! Highly recommended for couples looking to unwind together!

    The worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

    I will never stay here again. The parking lot is first-come, first-served and has only 8 spaces, and it was already full when I arrived. When I asked what I was supposed to do, they told me—with a faint smirk—to go find a nearby parking lot on my own. It was the worst service I have ever received at a Hotel. I also can’t believe that the person in charge at that time behaved like that. The Room is new, so of course it’s clean. But with service like this, I would never consider staying again. Breakfast was nothing special despite my expectations. As others have mentioned, there was just one whole Atka mackerel to share among everyone, which is unbelievable. I never want to stay here again.

    One night stay for a couple

    The room was a twin with a sauna, but there were no instructions on how to use the sauna. When I called the front desk, their response was vague and unhelpful, which surprised me. Additionally, there was no phone in the room to contact the front desk directly; I had to go all the way to the phone near the elevator each time, which was very inconvenient. The young woman at reception was fine, but the male staff seemed unprofessional and not fitting for hotel front desk personnel. Perhaps they were just being casual? (laughs) I also shared an elevator ride with a male hotel employee who neither pressed any buttons nor assisted in any way; he acted like another guest while I handled opening and closing doors without acknowledgment from him. This kind of behavior from hotel staff shocked me as it’s something I’ve never experienced before. Overall, while female employees seemed competent, many of the male staff gave off an impression of being temporary hires with minimal training—this left me disappointed. As for breakfast, a whole grilled fish (hokke) was served per person without being cut into smaller portions beforehand. It looked messy and unappetizing as guests struggled to break it apart themselves—why not serve it pre-cut? It felt strange and unhygienic. There were also times when drink machines during breakfast became unavailable due to refilling or maintenance without any explanation provided to guests—this too left me puzzled. While both the bath and sauna facilities were excellent overall, staff training fell below even business hotel standards (which is unfairly insulting business hotels). Additionally, it’s rare for hotels not to provide tea or coffee in rooms these days. This appears to be part of a Nishitetsu-affiliated chain; however, insufficient employee training combined with overly reduced services came as quite a surprise given its potential appeal through modern amenities like saunas and lounges tailored toward current trends—it’s unfortunate that these positives are overshadowed by poor service quality on "the soft side."

    A beautiful Hotel opened in April 2025.

    Review from a frequent business traveler. Room & Facility: The facility and rooms are very new and clean. I stayed in both the Superior Twin and Superior Double rooms, which had proper desks for work and enough space to open a suitcase comfortably. The TV is equipped with the latest model, but apps like YouTube are restricted, which was slightly disappointing. The coin laundry has 5-6 tilted drum machines with drying functions. Currently, there aren't many business users, so they are usually available without competition. However, only 100-yen coins can be used, so you need to exchange money on the first floor. It would be great if QR payment options were introduced. Onsen & Sauna: The large public bath is an onsen with an automatic löyly sauna and a relaxation room—nothing to complain about here! Lotion and emulsion are also provided. Please note that as it is an onsen, a Hot Spring Tax will apply. Breakfast: Perfect for business travelers! The "rice accompaniments" corner (natto, quail eggs, Matsumae pickles, bonito flakes) is excellent. The grilled fish isn't your usual salmon or mackerel fillet but rather a whole hokke fish served as-is. Depending on how people take it apart themselves, it can end up looking messy; cutting it into quarters beforehand might make it easier to eat neatly. When untouched by others yet fresh out of the kitchen—I served myself half of one side turning breakfast into Hokke Half-Fish Set Meal—it was absolutely delicious! Coffee was fantastic too; clearly high-quality beans were used. As this hotel just opened recently—there’s room for growth especially among staff at breakfast restaurants—but overall promising! While some reviews may seem harsh elsewhere online personally speaking everything met expectations well enough hence plan ongoing stays ahead!

    I had a relaxing time.

    A newly opened Hotel discovered on IKYU Visited with my elderly mother who lives in Sapporo. Chose a Room to enjoy meals at our own pace. The Room with a kitchen allowed us to cook, enjoy Onsen, and relax with drinks in the lounge comfortably. Breakfast was delightful, offering both Japanese and Western options. If there’s room for improvement, it would be helpful to have prior explanations or an accessible list of items available for loan in the kitchen-equipped Rooms (such as knives, cutting boards, dusters). Apologies if this information was already provided somewhere. The staff's warm smiles were wonderful—looking forward to visiting again!

    Although newly opene...

    Although newly opened, the accommodation is currently offered at an opening price. However, I wouldn't stay here at the regular price. The parking lot was empty. In the lounge, there were many used glasses left unattended, and no staff was present. Snacks were limited to dry items like bread and donuts—by far the least impressive lounge I've experienced considering the cost. Breakfast had dried-out salad, and guests had to clear their own dishes. The room had noticeable noise from above. I don't think I'll be staying here again.

    First Accommodation Stay

    The Hotel was new and clean, and the bath and sauna were excellent. However, the bed in the Room was noisy with creaking sounds, and breakfast was quite disappointing. I was surprised by the style of serving a whole hokke fish on a large plate for everyone to share—it looked unappealing. It would be more hygienic to serve individual portions like salmon instead. Although it may sound harsh, there were very few breakfast options overall, making it a disappointing experience.
