For better or worse

It felt like being abroad. We were upgraded and enjoyed direct access to the beach, as well as easy access to the restaurant and main pool without needing a cart, which made our stay stress-free. However, perhaps due to high expectations, overall satisfaction was low. Many staff members did not speak Japanese, which was disappointing even for an international accommodation. We had to repeat ourselves in English, creating situations where guests felt they needed to be considerate unnecessarily. Do not expect Japanese-style hospitality here. We initially planned to spend 2 nights and 3 days entirely within the hotel but ended up booking another hotel's restaurant as the food did not suit our taste. The Caprese salad left us wondering why such unripe tomatoes were served—it was quite surprising. The facilities are excellent; we hope other aspects will improve in the future.
