    It was a wonderful experience.

Despite being in the midst of Tenjin’s urban bustle, I was able to spend a serene time that felt like a different world. I was highly satisfied with everything from the hospitality and Facility to the amenities and dining. This stay reaffirmed for me the essential value of Hotel service: forgetting everyday life, relaxing, and recharging for tomorrow. In particular, the “perfectly balanced sense of distance” in the service throughout the Hotel and the pleasantly unpretentious atmosphere were truly comfortable. As one of Fukuoka’s premier luxury hotels, it isn’t an experience I can have often, but it left a lasting impression and is a Hotel I would love to stay at again someday.

    A high-quality, refined atmosphere

Despite its size, the Accommodation limits the number of guests, allowing for attentive service. The lounge is somewhat compact, but it offers a quiet, relaxing atmosphere and a well-stocked menu. There are only two parking spaces, so a Reservation is essential, but it is convenient that you can access it directly from the Hotel. The parking entrance is hard to find, likely due to nearby redevelopment. Overall, this was a Hotel I would like to use again when staying in Fukuoka.

    It was a disappointing stay.

I was really looking forward to this, but it turned into a disappointing stay. I was shown to a corner Room on the 18th floor and was happy with how lovely it looked, but then I was told at check-in that my luggage had already been placed in the Room—only to find it wasn’t there. When I asked about it, the staff’s explanation kept changing: first they said that couldn’t be possible and came to check, then they said it was in the Hotel storage area, and then they said the balcony needed repairs so my luggage had been moved to a different Room. For reference, I confirmed that someone else was staying in that “lovely corner Room.” Why couldn’t they simply admit they guided me to the wrong Room and apologize? They wasted 30 minutes of my time and left me feeling uncomfortable. Also, although I informed them in advance that it was my companion’s birthday, they forgot the towel art that the Hotel had suggested. This is not an inexpensive Hotel. Please allow guests to enjoy their stay comfortably. This time we went for dinner at The Ritz-Carlton Fukuoka and experienced outstanding hospitality, which made me regret not paying a bit more—then I wouldn’t have made my companion feel bad on their birthday.

The staff’s service was not good.

I like this group’s Hotels and use them often, but this time the staff service was the worst. There was no sincerity at all. There was a mistake at breakfast and I was kept waiting for a long time. Well, anyone can make mistakes, so I can accept that. However, what followed was an unapologetic attitude. They said “sorry” later on, but it felt completely half-hearted. It made me want to raise my voice. The rice served in the clay pot at breakfast also seemed rushed; I’ve had it many times before, but this was by far the soggiest and least tasty I’ve ever had. It made me wonder if there are any experienced employees to train all these young staff members. Other staff at Hotels in the same group are good, so it’s a shame. Not recommended for guests who care about proper manners and attentive service.

A Hotel You’ll Want to Return to Again and Again

I stayed at One Fukuoka Hotel to treat myself to a little luxury over the holidays. One of the highlights is the excellent location—you can access it directly from the subway via elevator. It’s especially convenient for anyone who wants to take their time and relax in the Tenjin area. I’ve visited several times for meals and stays, and my favorite touches are the large mirror in the elevator and the clear, refreshing atmosphere throughout the Hotel. From the moment you head there, it already feels like an escape from everyday life, and I get excited every time. At check-in, a staff member in a crisp uniform assisted me with great care. This time I stayed in a Room with a king bed, a large window overlooking Tenjin, and even a terrace. It felt wonderfully open and made for an indulgent stay. The amenities and loan items were well stocked, so I was able to stay very comfortably. In addition, I naturally struck up conversations with international guests in the lounge—sharing food together while saying things like “Everything looks delicious” became a lovely memory. Overall, I felt this is not just a place to stay—it’s a Hotel that brings you comfort and peace of mind. I’d love to come back again as another reward for myself. Thank you very much.

We had a wonderful and fulfilling stay.

Although it was my first stay, the staff kindly explained the services available within the Hotel and how to use them. About the guest room: The view that hits you the moment you step out onto the terrace is something you can’t experience at other hotels. Note: Of course, you can also enjoy a panoramic view from places like THE ROOF, so I recommend that even if you only use that! About the Facility: Since it’s a Hotel in the city center, access is excellent. However, if you’re not comfortable with busy downtown areas, you might get lost. If that happens, I think checking the signboards makes it easy to find your way. There were two bathing options: one in the guest room and a large public bath with a sauna. If you use the public bath late at night, it’s less likely to be crowded. Since there are only a limited number of shower stations, I went late at night and there was no one there—highly recommended. About dining: Late at night—almost until morning—I was having UberEATS and drinks, so even though breakfast was included, I overslept and couldn’t make it. With high expectations for next time, I’m giving it 5 stars (lol). Overall satisfaction was more than enough—I was extremely satisfied. After checkout, it wasn’t just “goodbye”; they kept my luggage after checkout and I picked it up in the evening. It’s a Hotel that made me want to come back. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful service.

A Hotel You’ll Want to Stay at Again and Again

We stayed in a Terrace Twin Room. The atmosphere of the Room, the staff’s hospitality, the service, and the breakfast and lounge were all wonderful, making our first stay in Fukuoka very comfortable. The breakfast was especially memorable. You choose one main dish from several options, and then help yourself to additional items from the buffet. Main options included beef steak, eel, chicken pho, French toast, and a Japanese set meal. I ordered the steak, and it was a delicious dish with a satisfying portion. Since it was our first trip to Fukuoka, we chose this Hotel because it is directly connected to Tenjin Station with excellent access. It was such a lovely Hotel that we would definitely like to stay here again when we have another chance to visit Fukuoka.

It was a very good Hotel.

The Hotel is in a very convenient location, just outside the ticket gates at Tenjin Station. The Room was spacious and clean, and all the staff were pleasant, making for a very comfortable stay. It was also helpful that I could request room service until late at night, and I was happy there was a large public bath as well. Overall I was very satisfied, but I rated only the guest Room amenities as 4 because it would have been more convenient to have more space around the sink to place items. After checking out, I went sightseeing by taxi, and as I headed toward the elevator, a member of the Hotel staff ran after me and handed me tea saying, “It’s cold—please enjoy this in the car.” I was truly impressed by their hospitality. I would definitely like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

    A cozy, comfortable Hotel

The location was very convenient, making it easy to get around. The Room, bath (sauna), cleanliness, and amenities were all excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. We also enjoyed the coffee service in the shared space and tasty donuts for a pleasant little break. The price is not cheap, but it was a stay well worth it.

    Five-star?

I couldn’t sleep due to noise from nighttime construction. I put up with it from around 11 p.m., but at 2 a.m. I called the front desk. The response was, “Yes, that’s right.” If you knew, why wasn’t anything done? About 30 minutes later, the front desk called again to say staff were heading to the site—an unnecessary update that only woke me up further. I told them I didn’t need progress reports because it would wake me. The Room also had particularly large openings, which made the situation worse. In addition, the duvet cover was noisy and rustled every time I turned over; the material needs reconsideration. It’s disappointing given how much attention is paid to bedding and pillows. At breakfast, the Japanese set meal included salmon with a very fatty cut for early morning. The vegetables and fruit also need improvement. A staff member holding a pen and repeatedly clicking it carried dishes containing food with that same hand placed over the dishware. At checkout, I was told, “We apologize for last night’s noise,” but the real issue was not just the noise—it was how it was handled. Overall procedures need to be reviewed; with the current manual, I don’t think this can be considered five-star service.

    Incomplete

The location is excellent, directly connected to the subway East Exit, right in the heart of Tenjin. The concept felt somewhat inconsistent. The accommodation cost follows a high-end route, second only to Ritz-Carlton or One Fukuoka, but check-in and check-out are handled at the restaurant register, and the uniforms resemble Ayurvedic attire, which I feel is not suitable for a hotel of this class. The open lounge is comparable to recent premium business hotels, with some guests lounging in onsen-compatible loungewear, making it hard to relax. I only saw staff at the front desk; this also felt like premium business hotel level service. The refrigerator contents were free; however, the juices were excessively sweet and lacked Wilkinson-level carbonation. Tea and coffee machines were not available in the room—you had to go to the lounge for them—though drip coffee was provided. Even with all lights on in the room, it was too dimly lit overall. In general terms, it feels like a premium business hotel plus alpha level accommodation. The living area with TV setup, double sinks in bathrooms, and amenities are comparable to five-star standards though. If priced around 50,000 yen per night (~¥50k), I would definitely consider returning. I hope they clarify their concept further moving forward!

I was comforted by the stunning views of Fukuoka's city and sea, as well as the calm demeanor and sincere hospitality of the staff. The selection of books in the library was fascinating. The drinks in the Room were well-stocked, but I was especially impressed by the lounge offerings such as juices, local milk, yogurt, and ice cream—all incredibly delicious. At breakfast, Vermicular pots were used to prepare dishes. The freshly cooked rice was delightful, but the freshly baked bread left a lasting impression. A staff member kindly served honey that had just arrived—it was exquisite and truly memorable. I am delighted to have found a place I would love to visit again.

Stayed with my wheelchair-bound mother. Thank you for accommodating the bathroom in the Room. My husband had a fever, and we checked out early, but we appreciated the complimentary juice and bread. The restaurant meals were delicious, and this has become a Hotel I definitely want to visit again.

The Hotel is clean, but the public bath is small.

As a new Hotel, it is still very clean. However, there are some drawbacks: - The Hotel is located on top of a commercial building with no driveway or porter, so you have to carry your luggage yourself and find the elevator. - The public bath is more like a small bath. There are only two washing stations. However, the sauna is pleasantly hot. - The breakfast buffet has an amazing view but limited variety and no cheese available. - I debated between a garden-view Room and just a regular terrace Room but opted for the latter. This was because the garden view requires opening blinds on the hallway side to see the garden across from it, which makes your Room visible from the hallway. Overall, for its price, there were several "what's this?" moments about this Hotel. The staff are all young and very kind; however, without any experienced hotel personnel around to rely on, it felt more like visiting just a café than staying at a proper Hotel.

    Convenient Luxury Hotel

Ideal for attending live events at PayPay Dome. Convenient access from Fukuoka Airport and just a 1-minute walk from Tenjin Station East Exit to the elevator. The nearest station to PayPay Dome is also accessible by subway. Rooms feature large windows offering stunning views of Hakata Bay and the cityscape of Fukuoka. Each room includes a kitchen, a spacious sofa, and provides a comfortable, relaxing space. Enjoy light breakfast in your room from the lounge, and unwind after the event with complimentary drinks from the refrigerator or minibar in your room for an enjoyable Hotel stay. The lounge offers drinks, fruits, sweets, snacks, and ice cream (available until 10 PM), which was particularly appreciated despite not having enough time to enjoy everything. The women’s public bath has two washing areas; it can get crowded depending on the time but you can check congestion status via your room's TV or tablet to plan accordingly. Suggestions for improvement: - While additional amenities are available upon request, it would be helpful if skincare sets were provided in advance based on guest numbers (makeup remover is available in the public bath but not in rooms). - Disposable hairbrushes in the public bath would be convenient (the rooms have high-quality brushes that feel too nice to dispose of). Overall very satisfied with my stay and would love to visit again if given another opportunity!

    No description provided.

I often use Southwest and With the Style, but this accommodation was my first time, so I was looking forward to it. I used the lounge, which had milk, drinking yogurt, and coffee milk available. It got me excited. However, there was only one bottle of coffee milk, and when I asked for a refill, they said only milk was left. I was surprised that there were no more stocks by 5 PM. I wish they had prepared more. Also, the initial staff told me an extra bed could be placed in the room. However, after waiting until past 9 PM without any contact from them and asking myself later on, they said it couldn't be placed in this room after all. If that's the case, they should have informed me from the beginning or at least let me know once they realized it wasn't possible midway through. For breakfast, we were told to choose one item from a menu that included options like steak, porridge (rice gruel), Japanese set meal (washoku), French toast among others; everything else followed a semi-buffet style approach instead! Towards finishing up eating though - upon asking whether additional dishes might still somehow become orderable again? They clarified saying same dish repeats weren’t allowed anymore yet different ones could indeed still get ordered anew if desired...but honestly speaking already feeling full meant couldn’t really take advantage further anyway unfortunately! There wasn’t any explanation about being able to order other dishes initially—just instructions stating “choose one.” Not allowing repeat orders of identical items seems questionable too while providing advance notice regarding availability across multiple selections would’ve been helpful overall beforehand itself perhaps ideally even better communicated outrightly earlier altogether maybe I had a relaxing stay.

The HOTEL staff were all very pleasant and provided excellent service. The Room was comfortable, and during my 2-night, 3-day stay, the guest room and hotel interior were so quiet that I wondered if anyone else was there. Even on the higher floors, the shower water pressure was strong and easy to use, which I really liked. Breakfast allowed me to choose a main dish along with a buffet selection; it made me wish I could stay longer just to try everything. When I returned late one evening, the special Hayashi rice from room service was perfectly portioned and delicious. The inclusive snacks and drinks in the Room were convenient as well. Although the subway station is a bit far from the dome after getting off, having a nearby highway bus stop with direct buses for LIVE events was very convenient. I would love to stay here again when visiting Fukuoka. Next time, I'd like to take my time exploring more of One Building too—it truly was a wonderful stay. Thank you for your hospitality!

    Disappointing

The location is convenient, right outside the Tenjin East Exit subway gate, but perhaps because it is newly opened, the front desk seems inexperienced, and the breakfast restaurant operations are lacking. Considering the high Accommodation Fee, it cannot be said to offer top-notch service. It appears to be a hotel specialized for inbound travelers.

    Satisfaction

The balcony is incredibly spacious, and the view is amazing. I requested a sea-facing room, and it seems they went out of their way to accommodate me—much appreciated. The courtyard design is impressive. The lounge was great, and the ice bar was so delicious that I plan to order some for home. The bathtub was small, as was the public bath, but that's understandable given the central location in Tenjin. However, the front desk setup could be improved—it’s the face of the Hotel after all. It was my first time filling out check-in documents in such a setting. We were considering staying at The Ritz-Carlton, but this turned out to be the right choice—so spacious and affordable!

    Solo Trip to Fukuoka

I stayed for two nights for a solo trip and theater visit. The balcony was amazing. You can hear outside noise, but it’s not bothersome if you play some music (speakers are available for rent). There were plenty of towels in both the Room and the large public bath, so I had no inconvenience at all. The texture of the Room wear was comfortable, and I slept very well. I opted for breakfast, which had a sufficient variety to satisfy me. I especially appreciated the selection of olive oils. (It would be better to remove empty bottles and wipe sticky ones regularly to avoid disappointment.) The highly recommended French toast comes as one slice in a half portion—perfect for those with smaller appetites. The location is very convenient, and even those who struggle with directions can walk to Canal City without any trouble. I would love to visit again! Next time, I plan to fully enjoy the courtyard and library lounge.

Is it just me, or is the price like a luxury Hotel?

I stayed at what I thought was a newly opened luxury Hotel in Fukuoka, but it left me feeling disappointed. Unlike other top-tier Hotels, there is a noticeable disparity among the staff—some are highly skilled while others are not. Everyone has a nice smile, but that's about it. They can't provide proper tourist information, make you wait unnecessarily, and the Room had dust. While the building and Rooms are modern and new, poor communication ruins everything. The lounge had various amenities prepared but was left unmanaged; if they can't maintain it properly, they should reconsider offering it. I expected services on par with other luxury Hotels, so this was disappointing. I hope the manager works hard to improve the overall quality of service.

I often visit Fukuoka, so I chose this accommodation as it is the newest hotel. With fewer rooms, there were no large groups, making it very quiet and pleasant. The room had a spacious balcony, and there was also a large public bath. Overall, the design was stylish, thoughtful, and of high quality. The location in Tenjin is excellent; however, the lack of a drop-off area on the first floor made it inconvenient when using taxis or handling luggage. When I visit Fukuoka again—though I've stayed at other famous hotels—I will probably choose this one.

The best location, excellent facilities, and warm hospitality

The building entrance is immediately accessible after exiting the subway gates at Tenjin Station. Even by taxi, simply mentioning "One Fukuoka Building" ensures easy recognition. When turning on the TV, a feature about One Fukuoka Building was airing on local channels. The 19th-floor front desk offers breathtaking views from the moment you step in, overlooking Fukuoka Bay with ships gently gliding by—a truly stunning sight. The staff, mostly in their 20s, provide excellent service that may vary depending on individual preferences but remains commendable overall. Rooms are located exclusively on the 18th floor, ensuring a tranquil and quiet atmosphere throughout your stay. The library offers light snacks including fruits and charming ice creams alongside a selection of wine for added enjoyment. The open-air garden is an exquisite space with impressive greenery that creates a serene ambiance both day and night—simply sitting there evokes a sense of calmness and elegance. Bathrooms in each room feature washing areas with exceptional design and abundant water flow like never before; rain showers add to the luxurious experience. Additionally, communal baths and saunas are authentic and often feel private due to the limited number of rooms available—naturally accompanied by stunning views. Rooms are rectangular yet functionally designed with double sinks, perfectly firm beds, and ample space for comfort. TVs are embedded into walls (Sony brand), offering excellent image quality whether viewed up close or from afar. Flooring materials as well as wall finishes showcase intriguing textures with subtle traditional Japanese framing throughout the interior design—look up while standing at the sink to fully appreciate its beauty. Breakfast was enjoyed twice during this stay; it offered more than enough variety for what one might expect from small luxury accommodations. A wide range of oils allowed guests to customize flavors according to personal taste preferences. On day one, steak (approximately 120g) was served—a classic dish seasoned perfectly for starting off workdays ahead. Day two featured a Japanese-style breakfast set where rice cooked using Vermicular cookware initially seemed ordinary but transformed into something extraordinary after resting briefly—its glossy appearance softened while maintaining an incredible texture that paired beautifully with thick-cut salmon fillets among other high-quality ingredients. Additionally included were thoughtfully curated buffet items presented individually in glass containers sealed tightly—to preserve freshness until consumed—all enjoyed amidst panoramic views creating moments of pure bliss during meals!

A Hotel that provides a very high level of satisfaction.

The excellent view, along with the outstanding facilities and service, made for a very satisfying stay. With a limited number of rooms, the guest floors maintain a calm and serene atmosphere. The lounge is a wonderfully relaxing space where I enjoyed reading the provided books while sipping on a café latte. A notable feature of the room was the completely separate bathroom and toilet, which is a thoughtful touch appreciated by Japanese guests. Additionally, when I carelessly got a blister and requested a bandage, the staff responded promptly and kindly, for which I am very grateful. In the past, I have stayed at other long-established hotels in Fukuoka; however, from now on, I plan to choose One Fukuoka Hotel for my stays.

    Repeat stay.

Stayed in June and was satisfied with the atmosphere, so I made another reservation this time as I had plans in Tenjin and found it convenient. The facilities and amenities were good, but there were children and families making a lot of noise in the library lounge. Elderly couples quietly reading also seemed uncomfortable. As someone with children, I understand the excitement of being in an unusual setting, but it would be appreciated if family gatherings could take place inside the room instead. I went to the lounge to relax, but it was challenging for various reasons. Snacks and drinks had also run out. It would be nice if staff members could stay nearby and gently remind guests about appropriate behavior when needed...

I had an incredibly comfortable stay! It felt so elegant, you wouldn't believe it's in the heart of Tenjin.

I checked in late but had plenty of time to enjoy my stay until the 12:00 PM checkout. The hotel staff were always friendly and provided excellent service. The courtyard was pleasant, allowing for a nice walk both at night and in the morning. The night view from the room was so stunning that I forgot I was in Tenjin, Fukuoka. They even prepared everything for bedtime, and the room service was excellent. I appreciated thoughtful amenities like facial steamers and contact lens solution rentals, which showed great attention to guests' needs. The bath area included a sauna and an outdoor relaxation space, making it enjoyable even on summer nights with a refreshing breeze. The public bath is compact, so it’s ideal for two people to visit together. The sleepwear provided in the room was very comfortable; I slept soundly through the night. It was so comfortable that I wanted to purchase it—it’s actually available for sale! It’s by far the best sleepwear I've experienced among all accommodations I've stayed at before. Both morning and evening views from the room were beautiful; being able to enjoy city views at any time of day made my stay truly special. In the morning, I used the lounge exclusively for guests where they offered donuts, fruits, drinkable yogurt, and more—everything was well-stocked with options available for takeout as well! It felt wonderful spending peaceful moments overlooking the courtyard—a rare feature among hotels—which made this lounge exceptionally cozy; I'd love to visit again at night next time! Even after checking out, you can continue enjoying One Fukuoka Building seamlessly!

I chose a slightly more upscale accommodation for the first time during my frequent visits to Fukuoka, and it was amazing! At first, I thought it might be a bit pricey just for staying, but considering the service, hospitality comparable to a luxury ryokan, room facilities, breakfast, and room service—it was incredibly worth it. The location is excellent; you can shop within the building and access the underground shopping area. The only downside is that dinner in the same building can feel a bit noisy, so I recommend dining within the hotel. I'm definitely coming back and already looking forward to my next visit!
