I’m from Tokyo. Before my stay, there was a major earthquake, so I contacted them because I was worried. They kindly said, “There has been zero impact on the building, so please don’t worry. We won’t charge a Cancellation Fee this time, so take your time and decide right up until the last minute,” which I really appreciated.I decided not to cancel in hopes of contributing even a little to the local economy—and it was absolutely the right decision. The staff were truly wonderful, and it became the best retreat of my life. The meals, Room, baths, and service were all outstanding. Congratulations on being awarded Michelin Keys for two consecutive years.

After watching a TV program featuring purple sea urchin, we visited looking forward to the dining experience.The cuisine, making the most of Amakusa’s abundant natural bounty, was far beyond our expectations—truly outstanding. We also appreciated the thoughtful explanations about the ingredients and stories about the producers, and enjoyed a wonderful time with the paired drinks. Dinner enjoyed while watching the beautiful sunset is a special memory we will never forget.A stylish and comfortable Room, an Onsen with ocean views, and breathtaking scenery right before our eyes—everything was exceptional and deeply relaxing.Most memorable of all was the warm hospitality of your staff, who clearly love Amakusa. Their desire to share Amakusa’s charm and ensure every guest truly enjoys their stay came through in every detail, and thanks to their attentive care we felt comfortable throughout.It became an unforgettable stay for us.
