    I was able to spend a relaxing time.

    It was my first time in Nagano in a while, and I was able to relax in the brand-new facility with a pleasant scent of wood. I appreciate the appropriate timing and courteous service during meals. What was a bit disappointing was the main building's large public bath. There were some areas that were not thoroughly cleaned, and there was an odor in the washroom, which detracted from the sense of cleanliness. I believe improving these aspects would make it even better.

    A Pleasant Moment at a Long-Established Inn

    I heard that the annex of a long-established ryokan in Yudanaka Onsen was newly rebuilt, so I stayed for one night. The room still had the scent of new construction. The staff were very attentive, and I was able to spend my time very comfortably. They accommodated my preferences regarding ingredients I don't like, alcohol, and local sightseeing, exceeding all my expectations, allowing me to have a truly pleasant stay. The cuisine was not overly elaborate, but the dashi and jellies were excellent, bringing out the natural flavors of the ingredients, allowing us to enjoy truly delicious Japanese cuisine. The rice was perfectly cooked, and the soup was truly delicious, providing a comforting taste that warmed my heart. Both my husband and I finished everything, leaving no need for dishwashing. Once again, thank you very much to all the staff and the head chef. I definitely hope to visit again.

    An inn for those who want to relax and enjoy delicious food in their room.

    I visited this area without any prior knowledge, but as others have mentioned, the food was incredibly delicious. I enjoyed everything from the appetizers to the small soba and the main dishes. Since you can dine in the spacious dining area within the guest room, you can enjoy your meal quietly at your own pace. If there's one thing to note, it's that the open-air bath in the room faces a relatively busy road, so I recommend taking a leisurely bath at night.

    The room with the pleasant scent of rush grass was clean, the food was delicious and visually appealing, the soft natural hot spring was delightful, and the attentive service was excellent. Everything was perfect, and I had a pleasant stay throughout. The performance by the head chef, who finished the dishes right in front of us during the meal, was enjoyable and added a nice touch. It was a pleasure to talk with the chef. The final dish of seasoned rice was also exquisite. The young female attendant who took care of us from the welcome was efficient and provided excellent service with a smile, making me realize that a good inn is thanks to good people. I visit various inns across the country, but there are only a few that I fondly remember even after two days, and this was definitely an inn I would love to visit again. Thank you very much.
