    Thank you very much.

    I stayed at Shigira Mirage Beachfront this time, which was under construction when I stayed at The Shigira a year and a half ago. Although there is no restaurant within the facility, there are restaurants within walking distance, so I did not feel inconvenienced (though it might be a bit troublesome on stormy days). Since it was during Golden Week, I expected breakfast to be crowded, but there was almost no waiting time. The beach is nearby, and the room was spacious with a well-thought-out design. Having a washer-dryer in the room was extremely convenient. The staff's hospitality was excellent and made me want to use Shigira Resort again just for that reason alone. A butler from The Shigira even came by to greet us personally, which made me very happy. Despite being a large resort facility, I felt that the staff's attention to detail was exceptional. If I may make one small request: it would be great if the trash bin in the bathroom were slightly larger (this is really my only suggestion).

    Stayed at the newly ...

    Stayed at the newly opened beachfront Mirage in Shigira Resort for the first time! The refined space made both the lobby and room very comfortable. The staff member who assisted us had a wonderful smile, so much so that even our 4-year-old son was shy around them! It happened to be a day with low temperatures and strong winds, so it would have been even better if the pool temperature could have been adjusted slightly higher for more enjoyable pool time. The entire Shigira Resort feels like a small town, making it convenient for dining and shopping without needing to drive anywhere, which was especially appreciated as we were traveling with a child. With new facilities still under construction, we look forward to staying again in the future!

    A very lovely Hotel.

    Stayed in a Deluxe Suite. The room was new, very sophisticated, and comfortable. The view was fantastic, offering both ocean and greenery. Located right in front of Shigira Beach, it’s extremely convenient for snorkeling. The bathroom lacked a jacuzzi, which is a minor downside. Meals were evaluated based on breakfast at Turtle Bay and dinner at Mirage. The front desk staff were generally very kind; however, there were some inconsistencies such as misguidance to the beach or delays in delivering additional water bottles. At check-in, I was told to use the shuttle bus for transportation within the resort area and thought Shuttle Service might no longer be available. However, when returning from another hotel later that day, I was offered a ride back by car. The next day when I asked again about Shuttle Service availability, they reiterated using the shuttle bus for transportation within the resort area but later that evening after dining at another hotel's restaurant when asked if I needed a car called back—staff clarified Shuttle Service is indeed part of shared-resort-wide services still active despite earlier confusion among Beachfront vs other Hotel teams' differing awareness levels around this policy (ultimately resolved). Since Beachfront lacks its own restaurant onsite aligning schedules between shuttle buses sometimes proves challenging hence would appreciate continued flexible support via direct-shuttle options instead during such instances! Overall though satisfaction remains high enough looking forward already planning return-stay next year!

    The Best Stay

    As the name suggests, it is located right in front of Shigira Beach, allowing you to enjoy the beach just a short walk away. The Miyako Blue sea is truly stunning and breathtaking. The food was incredibly delicious, and at Shigira Turtle Bay, we were able to enjoy breakfast while watching large sea turtles, which made the children very happy. Within Shigira, there are free shuttle buses and tuk-tuks circulating, making it extremely convenient. The buses are punctual, and the tuk-tuk staff are very kind. Of course, all hotel staff were exceptionally hospitable and attentive, making it a perfect holiday experience. Since it's newly built, the facilities are state-of-the-art and impeccably clean. The children enjoyed both the heated pool and the ocean to their hearts' content while also experiencing motor paragliding in the sky. We had an amazing time as four families together; now our kids can't wait to go back! Thank you so much!

    I had a relaxing time.

    The room had a resort view with beautiful greenery and ocean scenery. The beach was nearby, and the heated pool created a great atmosphere. The sauna was also enjoyable. The Hotel staff were all friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service, making it a wonderful trip. We plan to stay next time with three generations of our family.

    Comfortable

    The Room and Facility were very clean and well-maintained, making our stay comfortable. Having a washing machine in the Room was incredibly convenient for a summer trip to the beach and pool. All the staff were very kind and attentive, allowing us to enjoy a fulfilling and wonderful time. Thank you very much. We would love to visit again!

    Satisfied

    The entire Hotel has a casual atmosphere with a bright and clean design based on white tones. The Room was also very functional. The pool is heated, with just the right depth, making it more comfortable to swim than it appears. Additionally, it was great that the beach was only about 30 seconds away from the poolside. The only disappointment was breakfast, especially the Western-style buffet... I had high expectations as I stayed at Alamanda before and enjoyed their breakfast, but this fell short of that level.

    The view and the room are excellent, but breakfast and service are mediocre.

    Stayed in a corner Room on the 9th floor of Shigira Mirage Beachfront. The price was just under 150,000 yen per night. The view and layout of the Room were spacious and absolutely wonderful. (Breakfast) On the other hand, the breakfast (Japanese and Western) at Shigira Mirage was disappointing for a stay costing over 100,000 yen. Had Japanese breakfast twice and Western once. I strongly feel that the breakfast needs improvement. (Service) The service at Beachfront was excellent, but I found the service from Mirage staff lacking. They didn’t even greet guests properly, which made me wonder about their hospitality standards compared to other Hotels in the same group—it felt like a significant difference in service quality. This is my honest feedback.

    The Hotel does not have an on-site restaurant, and transportation was provided via Shuttle Service. The dinner buffet was disappointing in quality, but breakfast was served at a different restaurant. There were no particularly outstanding dishes. The Room was new, and the suite offered a separate layout for added comfort. It felt like a Hotel designed for long-term stays.

    Excellent. The view from the Room, the breakfast with jumbo shrimp barbecue, the beautiful sea—next time I want to go to Hawaii, I'll choose Shigira in Miyako Island instead.

    I had a wonderful experience.

    Stayed at the dream beachfront in early March. The weather was perfect, and I enjoyed both turtle snorkeling and Shigira Beach snorkeling. Having Shigira Beach right next to the Hotel was very convenient. It was also great to take a swim in the pool before returning to the Room. The corner Room offered stunning ocean views from both sides, and the air was refreshing. The spacious Room with a washing machine allowed for a comfortable stay. Traveling around on the shuttle bus was enjoyable as well. Sushi, soba, and barbecue were all delicious! For breakfast at Turtle Bay, freshly cooked scallops, shrimp, and white omelets were absolutely delightful. I even got to feed a large sea turtle! All of the staff members were kind-hearted people who made my stay worry-free. I would love to visit again!

    Mirage Beachfront 3 Nights 4 Days

    The Room was comfortable. Having a washer and dryer in the Room was especially convenient. If I had known, I could have reduced my luggage, like extra clothes, by half. It was also nice not to worry about doing laundry after returning from the trip. The pool temperature could be a bit cooler; it felt more like being in a bath.

    Jigira Resort is truly the best!

    Annual Miyakojima Trip When staying in Miyakojima, Jigira Resort Facility is a must. The Mirage Beachfront was especially amazing!

    Two women in their 60s traveling together

    Shigira Mirage Beachfront (Ocean View) 3-night, 4-day trip for two women in their 60s was the best! Smooth shuttle service reception at the airport, attentive concierge service, easy-to-understand lessons from the Segway instructor, and wonderful stories from the stargazing tour guide. We rode the lift, enjoyed swimming in the pool adjacent to the Onsen (recommended to go up to the panoramic bath), tried SUP for the first time, experienced Segway for the first time, played golf with breathtaking views at a course with a fun hall. At night we danced at an authentic live venue featuring oldies and island song melodies and indulged in gourmet dining at restaurants. Except for SUP, we fully enjoyed everything within Shigira Resort's premises. I would like to use it again to enjoy another perfect vacation without stress. Ahh, it was so much fun!

    I had a pleasant stay.

    The sushi and Mararunga teppanyaki were both excellent in terms of food and service. It was a cold day, so we turned on the heater, but apart from not warming up at all, it was comfortable.

    A quiet and serene adult Hotel

    The bed, sofa, and door in the Room open up to reveal an ocean view through the large, open window, even from the bath. After finishing marine activities, I could immediately warm up in the poolside jacuzzi, swim in the heated pool, and it was absolutely fantastic. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast at Turtle Bay. There was no greeting either on the way in or out, and the lack of toilet paper made me question if this was really a high-end Hotel restaurant. The variety was limited, and even my favorite omelet was underwhelming. Despite putting up the "please clean" sign in the morning, the cleaning was not done when I returned. After contacting them, I requested cleaning after 4 PM since I wanted to rest in the Room, but they insisted on 3 PM. The resort's Shuttle Service was convenient, and the stylish interior of the Hotel was quiet and relaxing, allowing for a comfortable stay. As expected, Mirage is truly wonderful.

    Three Happy Days

    I stayed to play golf at Shigira Bay Country Club. The room had a view of Shigira Beach, with well-equipped facilities and amenities, making it a very comfortable three days. In particular, the washer-dryer and laundry stand, which allowed us to quickly wash our golf wear, were very useful. The shuttle service to the golf course by car was also helpful. What impressed me the most was the high level of hospitality from all the staff. They always had a smile and provided advice that was attentive to our needs. When we couldn't get a reservation at a restaurant we found online, they introduced us to a newly opened restaurant of the same type, and the meal was exquisite! Even without renting a car, we were able to arrange a sightseeing taxi and efficiently tour around in a short time, thanks to the staff. We enjoyed a drive while listening to the fun stories unique to the local driver and were overwhelmed by the beauty of the Miyako Blue sea. Even now, whenever I remember, the happy times in Miyakojima come back to me. Thank you very much. I would definitely like to stay again.

    I want to visit again!!

    Used by family. The staff is very kind and courteous. The location is also excellent, and you can feel the attention to detail in the Room, starting with the air conditioning. Even for long stays or family visits, there are many souvenir shops, Onsen Facilities, and various restaurants nearby, and you can move around by shuttle bus. I will definitely repeat when traveling to Miyakojima.

    Wonderful Hotel

    This time, I stayed for three nights and had a very satisfying trip, thank you. The staff at the lobby were wonderful, and everyone was smiling, making my stay pleasant. The Room was very clean, and the shower water pressure was excellent, leaving nothing to be desired. I would like to visit Shigira again, so I might repeat my stay, and I look forward to your hospitality then.

    I would like to stay...

    I would like to stay at the same Hotel for my next trip to Miyakojima. It would have been better if the check-in process was a bit smoother.

    It became a wonderful memory.

    This was my first stay, and with a group of 9, we had an absolutely satisfying and grateful experience. The parking lot is conveniently located right in front of the hotel. While it doesn't have the luxurious feel of a mirage, the front desk is fresh and clean. The room was equipped with a mini kitchen and washing machine, which were very convenient. The view from the room was stunning (close to the sea), and you could see Higashi-Hennazaki in the distance. The pool is heated, so even at the end of the year, there were people swimming. Since we were traveling with elderly companions this time, we requested an easy-access room in advance via email before our visit to the island. Each time they responded kindly and attentively to our inquiries. Additionally, I would like to express my gratitude for the thoughtful service provided by the hotel staff at car drop-off. I look forward to visiting again for a more leisurely stay!

    Bright, beautiful, and comfortable beachfront

    Since it opened in February, everything was clean, bright, and comfortable. All the staff provided excellent service, making our stay pleasant. We used the facility for a special trip celebrating a 70th birthday, and we appreciated the message card and gift. We will use it again for our next trip to Miyakojima.

    It became a good memory.

    Since it opened in February this year, the Room was clean and had a great view. The sea was surprisingly beautiful with lots of fish. It was a trip for our wedding anniversary, and we were delighted with the towel art and message card service. It became a very good memory. This building does not have a restaurant, so meals are in a separate building, but since the weather was nice, it was pleasant to walk there. There was also a cart available. It was our first trip to Miyakojima, so it was a pity that we had little time to relax at the Hotel due to sightseeing. Having a drum-type washing machine in the Room was also convenient.

    The weather was a bit iffy, which dampened my spirits, but I was soothed by the spacious Room and the view from the Room. Since Shigira Beach is very close, I would definitely like to visit during the on-season next time. The breakfast is very hearty, so it would be nice to have a Plan without breakfast for those who don't need a big meal in the morning.

    Shigira is number one!

    I love going to Miyako Island 2-3 times a year. I've stayed at newly opened hotels, but Shigira Resort is the best overall for families with children because you can easily access the beach, see tropical fish through beach entry, and enjoy the pool, making it fun for both adults and children. I usually stay at Mirage or Allamanda, but this time I stayed at the beachfront for the first time. It was very convenient as there was a washing machine and simple cooking facilities in the room. For meals, I went to Turtle Bay for the first time in a while, and it was nice to see the variety had increased. I always visit Ryuguen, as the food is delicious and the staff are really pleasant. I would like to stay at a hotel within Shigira Resort again next time, so thank you in advance.

    I was able to relax.

    I stayed for three nights. The cleanliness and attentive hospitality were excellent. The champagne at breakfast was a delightful surprise.

    Even on the beachfront, the beach is hard to see.

    Even though it was beachfront, the beach was not very visible, and when I asked to be moved to a side with a better view of the beach, the room was downgraded from a corner suite to a regular one.
