We chose this Resort Hotel for our three-generation trip after considering other options. We have stayed here several times since it was the Royal Hotel, and the newly renovated large pool delighted our grandchildren. The breakfast crowd we were concerned about was manageable thanks to the reservation system. Although breakfast ends early at 10:00 AM, we appreciated the takeaway option for family members who enjoyed sleeping in. (It would be even better if breakfast hours could extend until around 10:30 AM.) Our family loves alcohol, so being able to enjoy Orion draft beer was a plus. However, this hotel is truly family-oriented and may not suit those seeking an adult vacation. For guests without children, using the Alivila pool with reciprocal access might be a good alternative. Please note that there is a step in the bathroom of your room. Our family members who used the public bath found it more comfortable and enjoyable; although it can get crowded, you can check its congestion status beforehand. The balcony area has not been renovated yet and lacks chairs or tables. The laundry facilities are limited and often busy—we ended up using them late at night—and detergent needs to be purchased separately.
