    This is Sumitaku Hotel.

    From Hakone-Yumoto Station, take the mountain bus towards Togendai, and get off at Sengokuhara Elementary School after about 30 minutes while enjoying the scenery; it's right in front of you. There's a 7-Eleven directly across, making it very convenient for your stay. Meals are French dinners carefully crafted with gentle ingredients for the body. Although described as light, the portions were sufficient and satisfying. The onsen is not large, but I was soothed by the gentle touch of the water from Owakudani. The room's kitchen, bath, spacious living room, and large TV made it feel like an apartment, and I liked the different atmosphere compared to noisy onsen properties. You can enjoy tea while watching the steam from Owakudani from the balcony. It seems fully booked during the New Year holidays, so I will visit again next time. Thank you very much.

    High cost performance and high satisfaction

    The stay was intended for visiting museums, and it was conveniently located with great cost performance. Recommended for casual stays. The spacious room with an onsen open-air bath was new and clean. It felt as relaxing as being at home. The morning bath while gazing at the sky was the best (there was a gap in the screen for the hot water supply equipment next to the open-air bath... a glimpse behind the scenes was charming). The staff maintained a perfect balance of attentiveness and distance. The meals were surprisingly delicious, which made me happy. Especially the appetizers. The presentation was beautiful and tasty. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and I enjoyed it heartily. Overall, it was a good stay. If given the chance, I would like to have a multiple night stay.

    First-time Experience Review

    First time using, the Facility is not bad, but the dining area is cold, and although it's said that using it in Room wear is OK, you might catch a cold; we were in casual clothes. Also, the time until the food comes out is long; after sitting at the table at 5:30, no food came out for 20 minutes. The interval between dishes is long, and there are few waiters, and their attitude is not very good. It's a shame because the taste is not so bad. When I asked for butter for the bread, an unbelievably small amount came out. The Facility is good, so a Plan without meals might be recommended? Also, at checkout, used sheets were piled up in front of each Room in the hallway, which was unpleasant. Usually, they are rolled up inside each Room. Also, checkout is at 10 o'clock, which is unusually early these days; currently, most are around 11 to 12. I have used Facilities with open-air baths here and there, and these are my honest impressions of this Facility.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    The staff's hospitality was excellent, and I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dinner and breakfast, allowing me to relax. However, the location seemed to be overlooked by nearby houses, and there was a lack of toothbrushes in the Room. The bath was clean and pleasant, but I would have appreciated it being a bit more spacious.

    The dinner was delic...

    The dinner was delicious. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere, and the staff were pleasant, making the meal enjoyable. When I requested the fish to be cooked a bit more, they brought out a new one. I felt sorry, but I thought it was a pleasant Hotel. I would like to use it again.

    Apartment-style Hotel

    The apartment has been converted into a guest room, offering a spacious and home-like atmosphere for relaxation. The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, and the bathroom has a washing machine, making it ideal for long-term stays. The casual French dinner was just the right amount and delicious, and the breakfast buffet was both tasty and visually enjoyable. It was a bit disappointing that the hallway was slightly dark and scary, and the lighting in the bathroom was not suitable for applying makeup.

    The room and hot spring were comfortable, the food was delicious, and the wine flowed easily. I would like to use it again.
