    The accommodation was very clean, and the room was spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. The room's facilities were fully equipped and comfortable. The meals were also delicious. One concern was that I had questions before my stay and tried to contact via phone, but following the voice message instructions to use chat or email did not work well, leading me to check in without resolving my queries. Not being able to directly ask questions or address concerns caused some stress. However, during the stay, everything was very comfortable, making it a great value-for-money hotel. I would love to visit again!

    - Both the dinner course and breakfast buffet were delicious and satisfying. - The room was spacious and comfortable. - The Onsen (large public bath) had a simple design; while it might feel slightly lacking for those visiting specifically for the Onsen, it was clean. - There were two instances of customer service that raised concerns, though details are omitted. - A 7-Eleven convenience store is located right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient. - Although not explained in advance, cutlery, tableware, and cooking utensils were available for rental, which was helpful. - An ice machine was also available, making it very user-friendly.

    Stylish Hotel with Value for Money

    If you are expecting a large public bath like an Onsen accommodation, this may not be suitable for you. There is one indoor bath and one open-air bath. Overall, it was very good, but I will only mention the points that caught my attention. 1. There was no complimentary mineral water in the room due to efforts to reduce plastic waste, which I completely understand. Instead, there was a water server available for free use. However, the carafe provided in the room to fill water from the server had dirt or mold around its spout area that made it unappealing to use. Fortunately, there was a convenience store (7-Eleven) nearby where we could buy water without any trouble. Still, this issue detracted from the impression of cleanliness expected from an accommodation of this standard. For reference, I have attached photos; although I washed it once thinking it might come off easily (hence it's wet), its design made certain areas hard to clean with a sponge and raised concerns about hygiene overall. 2. The glasses at the restaurant had unpleasant odors. When we ordered white wine, my companion mentioned their glass smelled like petroleum while mine tasted fine. Additionally, one of our chaser glasses smelled like milk. It seems that overall glass cleaning might not be thorough enough (possibly due to automated washing?). For a restaurant in this price range, more attention should be given to maintaining high standards for glassware quality and cleanliness. We felt hesitant about repeatedly asking for replacements after two or three times and eventually stopped mentioning it altogether during our meal experience here.

    Given the high expectations.

    A family of four stayed during the Obon holiday in 2025. The room was a two-bedroom for four people, with prior notice that two would use sofa beds, which was acceptable. The room included an open-air bath and came with breakfast and dinner for a luxurious 2-night, 3-day stay. Upon arrival, the welcome drink was a refreshing juice perfect for hot days—gentle on the body and much appreciated. The staff were polite and carried luggage to the room with care. However, upon entering the room, there were no comforters for the sofa beds despite searching thoroughly. After contacting reception, they were found in an unexpected location. While not difficult to find per se, it would have been helpful if this had been communicated beforehand since it was clear that four guests would be staying in the room. This gave an impression that hotel staff might not be fully attentive to guest needs. Throughout our stay, there seemed to be fewer staff than expected—not seeking excessive numbers but considering this is a premium-priced hotel; it felt like attention to detail fell short due to understaffing. At the restaurant over two days of dining courses were served—generally delicious but lacked variety in appetizers or drink options between nights which diminished anticipation slightly. On top of this disappointment came when ordering lamb steak as an optional dish on day one—it turned out tough and sinewy compared unfavorably against standard course meats being tastier overall! Positioned catering towards younger clientele alongside families given spacious rooms yet maintaining quiet ambiance conducive relaxation expectations raised accordingly only finding cost-cutting measures evident such reduced staffing reliance online services delivering affordable luxury experiences instead detracting somewhat from desired indulgence levels hoped-for balance achieved better elsewhere perhaps?

    I would love to visit again.

    Check-in is quick, and check-out using a QR code is convenient without waiting at the front desk. The welcome drink smoothie was delicious and delightful. Dinner was highly satisfying in terms of presentation, taste, and portion size; my husband and sons thoroughly enjoyed it. The breakfast buffet was also excellent, with moist homemade ham and a wide variety of tasty bread options. The Room was spacious and comfortable, featuring a theater screen for relaxing Netflix viewing from the bed. The drum-style washing machine added convenience as well. However, there were two disappointing points: The Room cleaning felt insufficient with dust on the floor and water stains on some parts of the flooring. There were no staff to welcome or send off guests near the entrance area; while front desk operations are simplified, this aspect could be improved. The meals exceeded expectations, and both the restaurant's atmosphere and staff were wonderful. I would recommend this place to friends as well—thank you!

    Room with Kitchen

    A clean and simple Hotel. Minimal interaction with staff is possible during your stay, amenities are sufficient, and being a low-rise Hotel means no long waits for the elevator. However, the public bath does not always have running hot water, so you may encounter floating debris at certain times. The breakfast buffet offers Western-style dishes—neither outstanding nor disappointing. Convenience stores and drugstores are within walking distance, and the Room includes a kitchen, microwave, and refrigerator. Cooking utensils and tableware are also available for use, making it an excellent choice depending on how you utilize it.

    It was absolutely wonderful.

    We stayed for two nights in a Room with an open-air bath, bringing our twin babies. We were delighted to find baby beds, baby baths, baby soap, and sponges prepared for us. Unfortunately, dinner was not allowed with children, but breakfast was stroller-friendly and we enjoyed it to the fullest. We wished we could have stayed another night or even longer. We'll visit again. Thank you very much!

    I want to visit Hakone again.

    I had a very pleasant stay. The accommodation was conveniently located within walking distance to places I wanted to visit, such as the Wetland Garden and Chōan-ji Temple. The meals were wonderful, and they kindly accommodated my dietary restrictions. I would love to stay here again.

    I had a relaxing and comfortable stay.

    The location was very convenient, right in front of the bus stop. We were able to leave our luggage before check-in and walk to the Glass Museum, which was great. The room was spacious enough for two people. We relaxed immediately by enjoying a welcome drink (which was incredibly delicious) on the balcony, and despite it being midsummer, the temperature was perfect and refreshing. Dinner had two seatings at 17:00 and 19:45; since 17:00 was fully booked, we opted for 19:45. It turned out to be worth the wait as the dinner was absolutely delicious and delightful—we were very satisfied. Although we stayed only one night, there is a kitchen available, so it would also be suitable for a Multiple Night Stay. The staff were extremely kind and helpful; we truly appreciated their hospitality!

    Completely satisfied

    There are many hotels around Hakone Sengokuhara, but this is one of the wonderful hotels where you can spend a quiet and relaxing time. First, the facility is new with a spacious parking lot that is not far from the entrance, making check-in smooth and stress-free. The room was spacious with a calm tone, featuring separate toilet and bath areas for comfort. The amenities, slippers, and room wear were also well-designed. Additionally, we booked with meals included this time; however, the room was equipped with a large refrigerator, IH stove, and microwave oven for self-catering if needed. With a convenience store right in front of the hotel, it seems suitable even for long stays. The meal was a French course menu where each dish was beautifully presented and delicious. (The chef's sense of style and high skill level were evident in every dish.) We appreciated being able to enjoy our meal in a quiet atmosphere without small children around. The staff provided excellent service comparable to high-end French restaurants in Tokyo by explaining each dish. In an era when many hotels are bustling with families everywhere you go, it’s refreshing to find such an elegant place where you can savor delicious food at your own pace. (Not having buffet-style dining also added to our satisfaction.) The onsen bath was slightly hot but clean and very pleasant. (It would be even better if there were a sauna.) However, there was also free access to massage chairs which we enjoyed. Overall, having such a peaceful hotel suitable for couples or elderly guests in Sengokuhara is truly wonderful—I would love to stay here again! (I think it offers great value for money.)

    A relaxing accommodation.

    As a returning guest, I chose a room with an open-air Onsen for the first time. The bath is small but uses real Onsen water, and the access to the SPA (very clean with natural hot spring flow) is excellent. For those bringing work, prioritizing convenience over views might be a good choice. It was also my first time trying the full-course meal, and I was impressed by its high quality. The staff on the floor were efficient and outstanding. Breakfast was as satisfying as always, making everything comfortable overall.

    It was a wonderful holiday.

    Everything was wonderful, from the welcome drink to the room, cuisine, and Onsen. The staff were all very courteous, and when we were undecided about the welcome drink, they kindly gave us two bottles each. The Onsen in the room was accessible anytime; in the evening, we enjoyed it with the sound of cicadas, and in the morning with warblers singing—each offering a different yet amazing atmosphere. This time we opted for dinner served in our room, which was absolutely delicious. The soup filled with summer vegetables, juicy meat dishes, and a variety of appetizers paired perfectly with drinks—truly satisfying. We were able to relax until the very end and had an exceptional holiday. We definitely want to stay here again!

    Good.

    Arrived a little early at 2:30 PM and was assisted by a foreign staff member. They guided us smoothly without any hesitation. The Room was very clean and well-maintained, extremely tidy. It seemed like it might have been an old resort apartment that was renovated, but it’s very satisfying. I would definitely love to visit again. Thank you!

    The lobby and rooms ...

    The lobby and rooms are clean, spacious, stylish, and comfortable. The welcome drink smoothie is also very delicious. For meals, I only tried the breakfast buffet, which features carefully selected local vegetables and ham that are delightful. However, one downside is that the locker area in the bath changing room feels cramped compared to the number of lockers available, which can make it feel crowded. Next time, I would love to stay longer for a resort-like experience.

    Room and excellent water quality.

    As a returning guest, I found the room spacious and the Hotel comfortable. However, this time, due to a last-minute Reservation, my room faced a residential area, so I couldn't open the curtains. The food was decent overall, but waiting 10 minutes for water and 30 minutes for the first dish felt excessive. While the female staff on the floor were efficient, it seemed like an operational issue. Although dinner was scheduled to start at 6:00 PM as informed, I would have preferred if it could have been adjusted to start at 6:30 PM. The quality of the Onsen water was excellent and everything was generally clean. However, during breakfast the next morning, loud yelling from a man in the kitchen reprimanding his subordinate made me uncomfortable enough to leave early. Please be mindful that voices can be heard clearly in such situations.

    I would love to stay at this Hotel again!

    The room is spacious, allowing for a relaxing stay. Although the staff may seem few in number at first glance, the service provided was sufficient and designed to ensure privacy, making it a comfortable experience. Based on previous reviews, we opted to have dinner nearby and only had breakfast at the hotel, which was delicious. The welcome drink smoothie was very tasty; however, there was no drinking water provided in the room, requiring us to go to the water dispenser, which felt slightly inconvenient—hence a service rating of 4. The bath with its milky white hot spring water was excellent as well; however, the wooden bath stool felt slightly slippery—so I rated it 4 for the bath. Overall, this is a wonderful hotel that I would love to visit again!

    This is my third time staying here. The meals are incredibly delicious, and I look forward to them every time. The staff maintain a perfect balance of attentiveness, allowing me to fully enjoy my private time. I always stay in the first-floor room with an open-air bath, and the hot spring water seems to suit my body well, leaving me refreshed both physically and mentally. One minor issue I’ve noticed during my past two stays is that there were several hairs left on the sofa. While I understand it may be challenging due to staff shortages, improving cleanliness in this area would make everything perfect. Please ensure that no one is reprimanded over this matter; instead, I hope for thoughtful improvements. I look forward to visiting again soon! Thank you in advance for your hospitality.

    Everything was excellent except for the breakfast.

    Everything could be done conveniently via smartphone, making the stay efficient and comfortable. The Room was great, and the bath was clean. The Room with an open-air bath was also excellent. Dinner was shabu-shabu served in the Room, and the meat was delicious. However, breakfast had very few options; there were no traditional Japanese dishes like rice, miso soup, eggs, or natto typically found in a Hotel breakfast. Additionally, other food items were not very tasty either.

    It was excellent.

    Some reviews mentioned that dinner was served late, but that was not the case at all. The staff were very attentive, and we enjoyed a pleasant and delicious meal. One thing we noticed was that the hallway to the entrance area was slightly dim. While it had a stylish ambiance, it was a bit hard to see. We would love to stay here again in the future.     Due to a sudden request from my elderly parent, we decided to visit an Onsen in Hakone. I found the Spring Travel Support Plan on IKYU.com and stayed at BLISSTIA Hakone Sengokuhara for the first time. Upon arrival, we were offered a choice of three smoothie options as a welcome drink and relaxed in our room. We enjoyed the bath and had French cuisine for dinner. The dishes were delicately crafted using Japanese ingredients, with a choice of one meat from beef (two types), venison, duck, or pork. The dessert was paired with herbal tea made from butterfly pea and lemongrass, accompanied by lemon jelly that added a delightful color-changing effect. Breakfast was served buffet-style but stood out for its exceptional taste compared to typical offerings. The room was equipped with a kitchen and washing machine, making it ideal for long-term stays or recovery retreats. Water was self-served using glass pitchers; coffee was provided via Nespresso machines along with tea options. With modern interiors that allow you to stay as if living there, this is truly an exceptional hotel worth revisiting. Above all else, the cuisine is outstanding—thank you to Chef Kinoshita for the incredible dishes!

    As it was new, every...

    As it was new, everything from the lobby to the room was very clean and comfortable. The onsen in the room was flowing at just the right temperature, and it felt great. I wanted to stay in, so I chose to have dinner in the room, and it was nice to be able to eat freely without being tied to a specific time. The seasoning of the shabu-shabu was also delicious. I would like to try the course meal next time. There are various onsen Stays in Hakone, but with an open-air onsen bath, cleanliness, and delicious food, I think this price is quite cost-effective. There wasn't the courteous service like that of a traditional Ryokan, so I can recommend it to those who don't prioritize that aspect.

    About slippers

    We had a very reasonable stay during the New Year period. The food was very delicious, and we had a wonderful time. The disappointing aspect was the slippers in the room. The slippers provided in the room we stayed in were quite worn out. It was uncomfortable to use them, so we checked with the front desk about the availability of disposable slippers, but they were not provided. For those concerned, we recommend bringing your own slippers.

    During the New Year period, while other properties were priced higher, this one was not so expensive, which made me worry that the service might be bad or the food might not be good. However, that was not the case; the food was delicious, and the room was spacious and comfortable. The standard meal was sufficient as I can't eat much, and I felt the wine selection was good, with some slightly higher-priced options available. Breakfast had a modern feel with plenty of vegetables and salads, and it was a buffet style where you could choose what you liked. If I had to point out a downside, it would be better to aim for less crowded times at the morning restaurant and the large public bath. The temperature of the onsen in the large public bath was just right and felt great. The staff were pleasant, providing just the right amount of service without being excessive.

    The young staff lacked experience.

    The check-in QR code was sent by email on the checkout day. A notification requesting guest information input was sent from the Hotel via SMS "Plus Message," but clicking the URL provided resulted in a "not secure" alert, preventing access to the input page. The young staff worked hard, but perhaps due to their inexperience, their voices were quiet, and they didn't smile, which affected the service. It's understandable given the small number of staff handling many guests. I look forward to their growth in the future, keep it up!

    A stylish hideaway for adults

    Everything from the entrance and lobby to the room is sophisticated. Truly a hidden gem in Sengokuhara. The room comes with an onsen, which I used multiple times, feeling very pleasant and warmed both body and mind. The room's design is comfortable, with a large and spacious sofa and a big table. The bed was also very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. The public bath, though compact, also has an open-air bath and is recommended. Dinner was very elaborate and delicious. Thank you for the warm birthday hospitality. Breakfast is a buffet, but all the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. I think it is a very modern property. I would like to visit again when I come to Hakone. Thank you for your hospitality.

    Solo retreat

    Overall, I was satisfied. The welcome drink, a choice of smoothies, was delicious. I was able to enjoy the open-air bath in the guest room multiple times and relax blissfully on the large sofa. Since it was on the first floor, the view was only the roofs and antennas of neighboring houses and the sky... The room was comfortable, the lighting was fine, and the bedding was easy to sleep on. As for dinner, I wasn't expecting much, but it greatly exceeded my expectations and was very delicious and satisfying. However, breakfast was... to be honest, it was so cheap and terrible that it would have been better not to include it. There was hardly any interaction with people, and check-in and check-out were done via QR code, making it a very convenient stay.

    Stylish and user-friendly

    Recently, hotel prices in Hakone have skyrocketed, easily reaching the 100,000 yen range, so I searched for a place that wouldn't break the bank or feel miserable and found this place. It exceeded my expectations and I was satisfied. The auberge I used to frequent nearby has closed, so I was planning to have dinner at a nearby French restaurant, but it happened to be a holiday, so I dined at the hotel. I think having the option to choose between the two is very convenient. Dinner was satisfying in both quality and quantity, but the taste of the breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. I wondered if the same person who prepared dinner made the quiche-like dish and the cod cream stew. The room decor, bath, and amenities were very much to our liking and comfortable, but despite being newly built, the air conditioning was noisy, turning on and off, which was quite bothersome. I think it would be better if the shower in the room, which was slightly running continuously, was fixed. The dark hallway was a bit unsettling for us as elderly guests, and I assume the limited staff is a survival strategy in these times. Overall, it was a satisfying stay, and I would like to visit this property again.
