    I stayed at the acco...

    I stayed at the accommodation to celebrate her birthday. The exterior and the room were, of course, wonderful, and the meals were very delicious. The bouquet we requested was even more beautiful than expected! Both she and I were extremely satisfied, and we would love to visit again.

    Spacious Rooms and Delicious Meals

    I stayed in a room with a kitchen, and the dinner and breakfast provided were delicious. The room was spacious and comfortable to stay in. The washbasin was quite large and clean, which made me happy. There were styling tools like ReFa irons, curling irons, and a hairdryer available, making it easy to groom myself. The kitchen also had a dishwasher, which was convenient for cleaning dishes before and after cooking. For dinner, there was a dish with walnut and miso sauce that was very tasty. The beef was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth—it was surprising! The vegetables and bread served the next morning were sweet and very delicious as well.

    Hotel with an Excellent Location

    The hotel is new but has a simple structure. Guests need to carry their luggage up the stairs to the second-floor room, which might be challenging for elderly guests. Amenities are well-prepared with L'Occitane products. Coffee, tea, and herbal tea are available anytime using the machine or pot next to the front desk, which is convenient. The room has a step at the door area, making it slightly inconvenient. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Karuizawa Ginza. For a Multiple Night Stay, you receive a 2,000 yen coupon if you opt out of cleaning services. However, when we tried to use it for breakfast payment, it was declined and could only be used for souvenirs or bar-time payments—this was inconvenient as we don’t eat at night. It would have been better if it could be used partially for breakfast instead. Borrowing a stand lamp for writing was very helpful. The bathroom in the room was large and luxurious; my husband enjoyed it very much. While the overall room design felt rough around the edges, the bathroom stood out as excellent quality.

    The best Hotel for mature couples

    I made a reservation for a plan that includes dinner and breakfast. ● About the Room There was some availability, so my room was upgraded. It was a very spacious room, allowing me to relax comfortably. Since I had mentioned that I am pregnant, there was a body pillow-like cushion placed on the bed. It was a very considerate hotel. The bed was comfortable; thank you very much. The bathroom was also very spacious and clean, so I used it multiple times. ● About the Time-Rented Bath I also reserved the time-rented bath. This too was spacious and well-cleaned, making it comfortable. ● About Dinner There were various considerations during dinner as well, making it a heartwarming meal. The restaurant is known for its delicious vegetables, but not only were the vegetables tasty, but the meat was also delicious. They prepared half of the meat well-done for pregnant women and half medium-rare so I could eat with peace of mind. I had cheesecake served in a skillet; it was incredibly fluffy and perfect as a dessert to finish off with. Overall, while not large in quantity, I felt highly satisfied being able to sample various dishes. ● About Breakfast The bread loaf (shokupan) was fluffy. The bread loaf with charcoal? added to it tasted simply delicious. You can choose one main dish from about three options, and I chose French toast while my husband chose quiche. It had a gentle flavor and seemed like healthy content from morning onwards. ● Overall Experience Overall, your thoughtfulness deeply touched me. The facility is clean and staying there felt very comfortable. Even designs that might initially appear dirty have notices explaining them clearly to avoid misunderstandings, so there wasn't any need to inquire at reception out of concern. We were able to create wonderful memories on our last trip before childbirth. Thank you very much. We would love to stay again when we have time available.

    I stayed for two nig...

    I stayed for two nights at the end of the year. Initially, I mistakenly went to another Longing House, but with guidance, I was able to reach the correct one safely. The road was somewhat narrow, and I wondered if it was really the right place, but the parking lot was relatively spacious and easy to park in. I had stayed at another Longing House before and remembered that the food was delicious; this time as well, the meals were indeed tasty. We dined once during our two-night stay and were impressed by how efficiently a single staff member prepared meals for us and another group. Thanks to their prompt service, we didn't have to wait long and enjoyed a delicious meal. For breakfast, there were different types of bread on each day which we enjoyed. Although the select menu remained unchanged over both days, it was slightly disappointing that due to allergies I could only order one type of dish. The room was quite spacious—almost too much so—and while taking off shoes upon entering felt unusual, everything seemed clean enough for a comfortable stay. However perhaps because it’s wintertime heating ran quite strong; although there is humidifier available its effectiveness appeared weak leaving some concern about dryness in air conditions inside rooms . We didn’t use private bath facilities therefore cannot comment on them directly though they seemed convenient without any signs indicating reservations causing congestion issues . Amenities provided included L'Occitane shampoo/conditioner which added positively towards overall experience . Despite higher prices typical around New Year period , overall satisfaction with stay makes me consider returning should opportunity arise again .

    It was my first time...

    It was my first time using the one in Old Karuizawa. The atmosphere of the Hotel, the wallpaper in the Room, and the ambiance were lovely. However, there were a few concerns... I think there was a smoking room at the back on the second floor, and perhaps because of that, when I stepped into the hallway, it smelled of cigarettes, which bothered me. Also, the bath was modern and clean, but it was difficult to understand how to use it, so I would have appreciated having instructions available. There was no bathroom heater, so it was cold, and I thought it would be nice to have even a small heater. By the way, was there a vending machine in the Hotel? I wanted to buy a drink, so I looked for one... The vegetables at breakfast were delicious. It might not be enough for men. The staff was very kind. Thank you very much.

    No Meals Included

    The reason I chose this place was because it offers No Meals Included and is close to the Karuizawa street. I have been using Old Karuizawa for a long time, and it is a place where you can enjoy meals and shopping freely even without a car. As a Hotel, it was undoubtedly excellent.

    I had a relaxing and very satisfying stay!

    The service was courteous, and the clean room and satisfying meals were excellent!! Thanks to your kindness, we were upgraded from the originally reserved room, and we were able to relax comfortably in a spacious room. I was very happy. Also, it was pleasant to try the ReFa shower head. Since I had requested a birthday plate in advance, I was very satisfied with the beautiful writing! The vegetables for breakfast were just right for an early morning stomach, and they matched perfectly with the miso dressing, making them delicious. The location was convenient for sightseeing as it was within walking distance to the old Karuizawa (Karuizawa) shopping street. Since it was a cold season with snow, we had the air conditioning heating on full blast, so I was concerned about dryness. There is an air purifier, but in terms of humidification, I felt it could use a little more. However, the amenities were sufficient, and I felt like staying again!

    The staff who assisted us from check-in to check-out was very kind, providing attentive yet unobtrusive service, making our stay comfortable! The amenities and hairdryer were also very user-friendly, and I would love to use them again!

    I used it for my partner's birthday.

    We stayed for one night starting from the first day of the three-day weekend, fully aware that the price would be higher than usual. However, despite the not-so-cheap price, some dishes in the dinner course required an additional charge. Since it was my partner's birthday, I had requested a birthday plate in advance, but it was brought out before the final pasta dish. The dinner, which we were looking forward to enjoying by eating the cake after the pasta, ended up being a disappointing experience.

    Perfect for a girls' trip

    This was my first stay. I decided to stay because they have Refa hair dryers, hair irons, and shower heads, and the amenities are L'Occitane. I was surprised to find that there were two hair irons, one for curling and one for straightening. The road in front of the shrine is a bit narrow, so large cars need to be a little careful. However, the room is very spacious, the bathtub is large, it's very quiet, the food is delicious, and the price is reasonable, so I am very satisfied. The disappointing part was that the okra served at breakfast was stringy and I couldn't swallow it, and there were no paper napkins, so I deducted one star. Also, the amount of L'Occitane shampoo and conditioner was small, and it wasn't enough for my thick and long hair. The conditioner was hard to get out... But we talked about definitely coming again next year, so I hope to take a leisurely stroll around North Karuizawa next time.

    It was wonderful.

    The staff's service was very warm, with wonderful smiles that left a good impression. In addition to the room bath with a large bathtub, there was also a private bath, which was very nice. The room also had a terrace, and the beer enjoyed while feeling the cool breeze was very delicious. I am considering using this hotel again next year.

    Thank you for your kind service.

    When I requested gastrointestinal medicine due to stomach pain at night, they brought it to my room despite the late hour. I felt better the next morning and was able to enjoy a delicious breakfast. Even after checking out, they allowed us to use the parking lot, so we could enjoy a walk on the Old Karuizawa Ginza Street. Thank you very much.

    Inside the room

    The room was renovated and clean, which was nice. However, even with a dehumidifier and air conditioning, the room was quite humid and had a musty smell, which was a bit off-putting. Also, the anti-slip screws on the stairs were loose, which is dangerous. There were two private baths available besides the room bath, which were reservation-based (time-sharing), and this was good. It seemed like they were quite popular with other guests as well. For breakfast, I had a healthy meal that seemed to focus on vegetables and soy milk. It was nice to be able to choose the main dish from three options. However, although I'm not sure, it seemed like some items were microwaved frozen products, which was a bit disappointing.

    Cost performance is...

    I understand that it's stylish. I also understand that they're doing their best with a small staff. However, the room's window is blocked by a wooden fence, so you can't see outside, and I would have preferred a power outlet to charge my smartphone over stylish shelves and objects. As for breakfast, the dessert was just an eighth of an orange, and there was no yogurt. They might think they can charge this price in the high season of Kyu-Karuizawa, but at this price, I don't feel inclined to return.
