A Wonderful Hotel for Complete Satisfaction

I stayed at the end of July. The location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Karuizawa Ginza. Even with my back issues that prevent me from walking long distances, it was manageable. The hotel is a small hidden gem surrounded by quiet forests and parks. This time, my room was upgraded, and I received a coupon worth 1,000 yen per person which I used at the bar after dinner. Since the bar closes at 10 PM and dinner starts at 8 PM, the staff kindly adjusted my dinner time to 7:30 PM so I could enjoy champagne from the bar in my room afterward. The staff's service was exceptional. The food was delicious with generous portions! (The menu had three levels of portion sizes clearly indicated for easy selection.) Everything from the dishes to the bread was incredibly tasty, especially the vegetables which were truly impressive. Additionally, champagne seemed to be available for free during breakfast. The room and bathroom were spacious, clean, and comfortable. However, in my room's bathroom, the water heating system was broken so I had to fill up manually and restart it multiple times which was inconvenient (if you don't mind using manual filling or booking another bath option this might not be an issue). Also worth noting is that fixing loose showerhead holders would improve convenience further. Amenities included L'Occitane shampoo/conditioner/body soap/body milk but note facial cleansers or toners weren’t L'Occitane products! On hot days like when we visited air conditioning felt too strong making nights chilly; those sensitive should bring extra layers—I ended up sleeping wearing robes provided instead! Being retro-styled building means no elevators exist inside premises hence carrying large luggage yourself applies here too beware beforehand accordingly likewise opting No Meals Included plan visitors must know dining spots around Karuizawa Ginza often face long queues evenings-wise prepare ahead better avoid hassle altogether! Overall though atmosphere exudes quintessentially charming "Karuizawan" vibes alongside delectable meals morning/evening alike while conveniently exploring nearby attractions sans car stress-free—truly glad choosing such wonderful Hotel experience definitely looking forward returning someday soon again!
