The human touch is priceless, yet

It was unfortunate. We were aware that the property was undergoing a long-term renovation (expected to be completed in about two years), so we were prepared for that aspect and do not intend to complain about it. However, considering the accommodation fee of 50,000 yen, here are my thoughts: 1. The open-air bath was always filled with insects and debris. Especially in the morning, wouldn't it make a significant difference if the staff cleaned it even once? 2. There is a shortage of staff, and moreover, each staff member is not trained at all. The coordination among the staff is poor, and this is not the level of service expected from a hotel of this price range. 3. They do not consider at all how to make guests feel joy or excitement. 4. We had Italian for dinner, but it was not worth the price at all. The taste, ingredients, and alcoholic beverages were at the level of a family restaurant. There are still many things I would like to write, but in any case, it did not feel like the level of 50,000 yen. It was truly disappointing that there are so many things that could be done without spending money by sharing ideas among the staff, yet they are not being done. We talked with my wife on the way home, saying, "We didn't feel the spirit of wanting to make this hotel better together." Finally, the room we stayed in had an open-air bath after renovation, and it was truly well-designed and comfortable. Also, the large terrace in the photos was indeed the best.
