    The best accommodation experience ever.

    I stayed for the first time in Hakodate with a 1-night stay including 2 meals. The access from tourist spots was convenient, and both the Hotel and Room were clean and wonderful. The meals were exceptional, featuring an all-you-can-eat Hakodate sushi as the main dish along with shabu-shabu, making it the best dinner I've ever had. The Onsen had great views, including an open-air bath and sauna, which left me fully satisfied. Although I arrived a bit late and was told I couldn't make it for an early dinner slot, I requested to switch to an earlier time so I could see the night view of Mount Hakodate—and they kindly accommodated my request. It was truly helpful! Thank you very much. I would love to stay again and recommend this Hotel to my friends!

    Wonderful Bayside

    We visited to fully enjoy Hakodate, my family's hometown. I had heard it was a wonderful hotel, and indeed, we had an absolutely amazing accommodation experience. There were many surprising points, but I was especially astonished by the abundance of free services. There are three private Onsen baths available for guests to use anytime during designated hours, complimentary late-night ramen service, Guarana drinks in the large public bath... I am truly grateful for such luxurious services. This time we booked a room with a cypress bath, and soaking in the Onsen while enjoying the bayside view was breathtaking and incredibly relaxing for both body and mind. As expected from Hakodate, the seafood was exceptionally delicious; however, having premium seafood available as an all-you-can-eat option both in the morning and evening (sushi at night) felt like pure luxury—it left me deeply impressed. Additionally, I appreciated that ladles at the buffet soup station were designed for both right-handed and left-handed guests. The handrails installed in bathtubs also reflected thoughtful hospitality throughout this wonderful accommodation. The location is excellent as it is close to Red Brick Warehouses. Thanks to this stay, we were able to fully enjoy Hakodate beyond expectations. I would love to visit again someday—thank you so much for creating such delightful memories!

    Completely satisfied.

    I chose this accommodation based on the good reviews, and I was very satisfied. I had reserved a twin room, but it was upgraded to a Japanese-Western style room, which was very spacious with a great view of Mount Hakodate. Additionally, I booked with two meals included, and the all-you-can-eat sushi for dinner was amazing; the quality of the ingredients and presentation were excellent. The welcome ramune drink service, post-bath ice cream, late-night soba noodles, and aromatic scents in the lobby made my stay extremely comfortable. I would love to stay here again next time.

    Stayed for one night...

    Stayed for one night from 7/30 in a special room on the 9th floor with breakfast and dinner included. The room, including the open-air bath with a great view, was very comfortable. The large public bath was almost like a private experience as I used it around 5:30 PM. The quality of the hot spring water was excellent, allowing for a relaxing time. As for meals, both the dinner course and breakfast buffet lived up to their reputation. The timing of serving and replenishing dishes was perfect, and everything was delicious. On that day, there were tsunami warnings and evacuation advisories issued across Hokkaido's coastal areas due to an earthquake near the Kamchatka Peninsula early in the morning. Despite this challenging situation for Hakodate's tourist spots and accommodations, thank you very much for welcoming guests with thorough preparations!

    Delicious and hearty breakfast included

    I often use Kyoritsu Resort and Dormy Inn. A while ago, I stayed at the main building of La Vista and had a great experience, so this time I decided to try the new annex. The room was clean and comfortable. I was looking forward to the breakfast buffet, which is famous, and I thoroughly enjoyed it without much crowding. Overall, it was a satisfying stay at the accommodation. However, I noticed several guests mistakenly checking in at the annex instead of the main building. Are there any measures being taken to address this?

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    Stayed for two nights with breakfast included. The breakfast exceeded expectations and everything was delicious. Enjoyed the bath and sauna as well. The complimentary water after bathing was much appreciated. The Room was comfortable and perfect for relaxing. Will definitely stay again next time!

    La Vista Hakodate Bay ANNEX Kyoritsu Resort Accommodation

    The comfort of the Room was excellent, and despite the large number of people at the breakfast buffet, it was neither crowded nor noisy, making for a truly pleasant two mornings. A slightly larger trash bin in the Room would have been more convenient.

    Stay and be thoroughly satisfied

    I decided to make a reservation and stay at this accommodation based on the good reviews, though I was a bit skeptical. I arrived before 3 PM, but the room was already prepared, allowing for a stress-free check-in. The lounge offered delicious melon-flavored iced tea and individually wrapped Hakodate rusks, which other guests seemed to enjoy as well. Dinner was a Japanese-style course meal featuring seasonal ingredients of high quality. I was especially thrilled to learn that sushi could be ordered from the start—I couldn't resist ordering plenty of sea urchin sushi! The portions were generous, and even the seaweed wrapping was of excellent quality. The staff attending my table responded promptly and courteously to every request. Although I couldn’t try their famous late-night ramen due to being so full from dinner, there were no regrets! Breakfast included an impressive variety of seafood dishes, small plates, side dishes, local sake options, and even premium-looking tomato juice that stood out for its quality. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable with Goto-ken rice crackers placed on the table as a thoughtful touch. In the public bath area nearby, they provided plenty of Garana soda or water (which are sold locally for about 130 yen). The open-air bath was lovely too; however, what impressed me most were the towel mats in the sauna—they seemed frequently replaced and felt fluffy and clean. I would say it’s worth visiting Hakodate just to stay at this hotel!

    This was my first stay at this accommodation, and it truly lived up to the high reviews. The dining experience was particularly impressive. Upon arrival, while waiting for the check-in process, welcome drinks were served in the lobby. Dinner included 14 pieces of sushi (sea urchin, salmon roe, scallop, crab, bluefin tuna, etc.) and a perfectly portioned individual shabu-shabu hot pot. Although I initially thought the portions might be small, both dishes exceeded expectations with their exceptional quality. There was also an all-you-can-eat sushi option available; however, given my age and appetite, the provided amount was more than sufficient. The lively conversation and attentive care from the staff created a pleasant atmosphere. Afterward, we drove about 2–3 minutes from the hotel to take a ropeway up Mount Hakodate for night views. Despite being early May, it was quite cold outside—especially at the summit—but thanks to advice from reception about dressing warmly for this outing and clear weather conditions that evening made enjoying those stunning views possible. Returning to our accommodation later on revealed three types of mini bread prepared within its lobby area—the sakura-flavored sweet bean paste bun stood out as particularly delicious! From 9:30 PM until around half-past ten nightly "Yonaki Soba" noodles are offered—a specialty unique across Kyoritsu Resort properties—and they proved irresistible post-evening exercise sessions too tasty not indulging heavily upon despite knowing better considering next morning's buffet breakfast awaiting ahead! Speaking regarding said breakfast spread itself though lacking sea-urchins present prior meals instead featured fresh bluefin-tuna squid varieties alongside crabmeat toppings perfect atop rice bowls or enjoyed sashimi-style stress-free without concern over limited availability replenished continuously ensuring everyone could partake equally fruit offerings strawberries especially noteworthy among highlights likewise unlimited refills provided throughout duration meal service hours. Overall satisfaction reached maximum levels due largely numerous smaller yet high-quality thoughtful touches encountered during stay experience overall near-perfection marred only minor issue arising final bill settlement process wherein parking fees omitted initial invoice necessitating issuance second receipt causing slight delay unexpected inconvenience given vehicle license plate details already collected earlier check-in stage assumed automatically accounted beforehand otherwise flawless visit assuredly returning future trips planned Hakodate region

    The entire Hotel is calm and quiet, with cleanliness maintained throughout, including the bath area, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Thoughtful touches like ice cream and drink services after bathing were excellent. The renowned breakfast buffet not only had an impressive lineup but was also consistently well-organized and clean, making it highly enjoyable to use.

    ANNEX is the best!

    La Vista Hakodate ANNEX was the best among all the La Vista hotels I have stayed at! The check-in staff were very accommodating, making it a relaxing start to our stay. The Room was stylish, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. The large public bath was not crowded, allowing for a peaceful experience. Dinner featured an all-you-can-eat selection of kaiseki cuisine, shabu-shabu, and sushi. The female staff provided excellent service, bringing the next dishes at perfect timing. Tempura was served freshly fried, while the chawanmushi and soup were at ideal temperatures. All sushi ingredients were fresh—uni (sea urchin), chutoro (medium fatty tuna), snow crab, and shiso rolls were so delicious that we kept going back for more! Even children who usually don’t enjoy raw fish ate plenty this time. It truly was an amazing dinner! I definitely want to visit La Vista Hakodate ANNEX again!

    Thank you for your support this year.

    This is my third visit this year, coming every year during the cherry blossom season. Annex Hotel feels the most relaxing. I do visit other hotels, but next year I’d like to stay here for a Multiple Night Stay without going elsewhere. The dinner is excellent.

    Satisfied. Would love to stay again.

    This was our second stay as a family of four, including my parents in their 80s. The private baths were very convenient since we couldn't let my father go to the large public bath alone. With three private baths available, they were often vacant. However, the temperature of the private baths could be lowered a bit as it was quite hot. The all-you-can-eat sushi was delicious, and my family mentioned they'd love to come back again. Hopefully, we can visit again next year and would definitely choose this place once more if we do. The evening bread service runs out quickly since only a few pieces are brought out at a time. Perhaps limiting it to one piece per person or providing more at once would help ensure everyone gets some—many seemed unable to get any. During breakfast, staff noticed when my mother needed assistance bringing food for my father and kindly provided her with a wagon for convenience. This thoughtful gesture was much appreciated!

    Conveniently located and comfortable Hotel. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

    Stayed with a 2-night, 2-meal included plan. I found it to be a comfortable hotel worth the price. <Location> Conveniently located within walking distance from Hakodate Station, with access to public shuttle buses. Easy access to Morning Market, Red Brick Warehouses, and Mount Hakodate. <Room> New, clean, and well-maintained. Amenities felt slightly cheap as they were in tea bag-like packaging. Occasionally heard door sounds from neighboring rooms but still acceptable. The view from the high floor was excellent. <Onsen> Spacious and very clean. The open-air bath was pleasant, and the slightly salty onsen was enjoyable. Post-bath drinks were a nice touch; however, I was disappointed that the Guarana drink I looked forward to (advertised until 25:00) had been replaced by another drink after 24:00. <Meals> As it was my first time in Hakodate and unfamiliar with the area, I booked a plan including two meals per day. While both taste and portion size were decent enough, dining in what felt like a large conference room (also used for breakfast) lacked ambiance or any "WOW" factor unique to Hakodate. This led me to cancel dinner on the second night—there are several lovely seafood izakayas within walking distance that might be worth considering instead. Breakfast lived up to its reputation—very satisfying in both variety and quality! They even offered sake and sparkling wine in the morning for an extra touch of happiness; breakfast is definitely worth including. <Staff & Service> Check-in/out processes were handled appropriately overall. However, when requesting cancellation of dinner on the second night over the phone, after consulting their superior staff responded with "Are you okay waiving your rights?" which came across as abrupt wording that startled me slightly—it seemed they wanted to clarify no refund would be provided but could have phrased it more politely or empathetically such as asking if there had been any issues or explaining refund policies more gently ("We regret we cannot modify plans nor provide refunds; may we kindly ask for your understanding?"). A little training here might help improve communication skills! Overall though—a place I'd consider staying again if visiting Hakodate! Thank you for your hospitality!

    The bath was absolut...

    The bath was absolutely amazing. The indoor bath was hot, and there were two reclining baths, which were fantastic. Usually, reclining baths have less water and tend to get cold over time, but since these were set within the large indoor bath, they stayed warm throughout. It was so relaxing to lie down while listening to soothing music designed for relaxation. The open-air bath offered a stunning view of the sea and Mount Hakodate amidst light snowfall—truly exceptional. Dinner included a kaiseki meal, shabu-shabu, and all-you-can-eat sushi. I ate so much that it had been a long time since I felt that full! Every dish in the kaiseki menu was delicious, and the meat for shabu-shabu was tender and flavorful! Although the sushi menu was somewhat limited, it covered all the classics perfectly—very satisfying. The rice portions were on the smaller side, which left a good impression as well. Lastly, the Western-style sweet red bean soup served as dessert was incredibly delicious. Breakfast was also very fulfilling with seafood dishes in small bowls alongside grilled scallops, salmon, and vegetables at another station. They replenished items promptly when they ran low so you could enjoy everything to your heart's content. Of course, there weren’t just Japanese-style options; there were also Western dishes and bread available too. If I had to point out one thing—it seemed like coffee is heavily promoted here; however personally speaking it wasn’t quite my taste which felt slightly disappointing. Additionally (perhaps because it was during weekdays from Friday-Saturday), it wasn’t overly crowded nor did I notice many foreign guests—or any at all for that matter. There weren’t any disturbances like hallway noise or sounds from neighboring rooms either. Both inside the facility itself as well as our Room featured calm interiors with clean designs throughout. I would love to visit again someday—and even explore other La Vista locations!

    I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Hakodate.

    It was my first time staying at the Annex. The pleasant scent in the lobby raised my expectations. Given that Hakodate is a place for activities like food tours rather than relaxing in the Room, I didn’t focus on the Room grade. However, it was spacious enough for two people, clean, and satisfying. The meals were hearty; dishes like negitoro were delicious. The shabu-shabu meat was tender and tasty as well. It’s about a 10-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station and around 5–6 minutes to the Morning Market (though I didn’t visit). The Bay Area is also nearby. You can reach the Hakodate Mountain Ropeway with a 15-minute walk, so the location is excellent. Thank you very much!

    Disappointing...

    Stayed in a special room with only two rooms available. The amenities, linens such as bath towels, and bedding felt cheap. The amenities were similar to those found in a business hotel. The selection of complimentary drinks in the room was limited (2 bottles each of Ayataka tea and Yebisu beer, and 1 bottle of wine). The room was dimly lit, had poor sunlight exposure, was cold, and had a bad view. For meals, I was guided to a narrow counter seat with poor views and overly strong sunlight despite the availability of sofa seats—couldn't priority seating be arranged? Other than being slightly spacious, the room felt no different from a business hotel. What exactly makes this a "special" room? It is far from worth the price charged. There should be more distinction from standard rooms. Compared to other hotels with similar pricing, this service is at an almost fraudulent level—it’s so subpar that I feel like asking for a refund. This hotel deserves not even one star in every aspect.

    The Room was spacious, clean, and relaxing. I was pleased with the 24-hour coffee service in the lobby. The breakfast buffet was excellent. If I visit Hakodate again, I would like to stay here. I am very satisfied. Thank you very much.

    A hotel that makes you want to visit again

    I truly felt it was great to stay. We splurged quite a bit for a family trip, but everyone in the family loved it and we were able to spend a happy time. There was a private bath on the accommodation floor, and since we could easily access both the room's bath and the private bath, we enjoyed both. The room amenities were all unified with Re-Fa, which I had wanted to try once, so I was pleased. There were two washbasins, so even with four family members we could use them comfortably, and having underfloor heating in both the washroom and washing area was nice too. Also, I think it's quite considerate that the table in the room can be adjusted up and down. Both beds and futons were comfortable to sleep on, allowing us to sleep soundly. As for meals, they lived up to everyone's reviews' reputation of excellence. It was such a wonderful hotel that makes you want to stay again.

    We were upgraded to a fourth room for our multiple night stay on weekdays. This room had two bedrooms, two TVs, and two sinks, with a very user-friendly layout that we really liked. There were two stylish large towel racks for three towels each, which made the stay stress-free in small ways. The hand-sewn size label on the back of the room wear was a bit prickly (though my husband didn’t feel it; he did mention that the razor wasn’t sharp enough). Our room was on the 5th floor facing Mount Hakodate, and the view from the window exceeded our expectations. The all-you-can-eat sushi dinner deserves more than five stars! The uni (sea urchin) was especially delicious—we didn’t even need to visit nearby famous uni restaurants as we fully enjoyed it here. The shabu-shabu meat was also locally sourced from Hokkaido and tasted rich and flavorful. The service was prompt and excellent as well. As for breakfast, which we had high expectations for, items like salmon roe, crab, and sweet shrimp were delicious. While there seemed to be fewer options overall compared to other places, you could tell they carefully selected quality ingredients. On our first day’s breakfast, the sparkling wine tasted overly sweet and wasn’t enjoyable; however, on the second day it had a crisp taste that we liked—perhaps it improved over time? Having stayed at La Vista’s main building several times before, I always look forward to their dessert pudding—it’s absolutely exquisite! I ended up eating two servings at every meal this time too. Afternoon tea felt slightly underwhelming with just one type of packaged snack available in bags; however: post-onsen ice cream treats; Guarana soda; bottled water; probiotic drinks; Kyoritsu Resort's signature late-night ramen noodles “Yonaki Soba”; individually wrapped snacks near elevator halls after dinner along with teas like black tea or plum tea—all these little thoughtful services added joy throughout our stay. After enjoying an Onsen bath session together: my husband opted for body care while I chose esthetics treatment—the staff member working solo that day showcased impressive skills making both experiences highly recommendable. Since this is not such a large-scale hotel facility-wise—there weren’t any waiting times either at elevators nor baths ensuring utmost comfortability during usage periods! One minor downside noticed involved most guests being international travelers where disturbances occurred during night-two involving loud noises emanating upstairs/next-door rooms alongside littering messes left behind within shared elevator-hall spaces causing slight discomforts experienced therein. Lastly upon checkout inquiries directed towards male front desk personnel regarding airport-accessibility routes yielded unhelpful responses contrasting starkly against female counterparts who displayed exceptional politeness professionalism instilling reassurances instead! Overall though cleanliness standards maintained alongside delectable dining offerings rendered stays memorable positively inclined toward revisiting intentions future occasions assuredly anticipated fondness alike!

    I was able to show filial piety.

    I stayed with my elderly mother. The room was spacious and clean. The bath was also satisfying. We truly enjoyed the meals. The breakfast was impressive, with such a wide variety of dishes that you couldn't try them all unless you stayed for multiple nights. My mother, who usually doesn't eat much, enjoyed the fresh seafood, saying she couldn't believe she could have such a feast in the morning. All the staff were pleasant, making it a delightful 3-day, 2-night stay. The onsen was also pleasant, but unfortunately, the private bath was occupied the whole time, so we couldn't use it... but I plan to stay again.

    It was excellent!

    This time, I stayed at La Vista ANNEX for the first time after hearing high praise from a friend. From the front desk to the dinner staff, everyone was kind and attentive, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. The sushi that could be ordered for dinner was delicious. Since I visited on my birthday, I was thrilled with the surprise appearance of fireworks and a cake. Thank you very much! The private open-air bath where you can relax and take a bath was also excellent. It's a hotel I would like to visit again next year when I go to Hakodate to see the snow.
