We stayed as a family during the Obon holidays. This was our second visit. Last time we couldn’t use the gym at all, but this time we had more time and were able to use it. It was a wonderful space and we really enjoyed it. The Room was spacious and clean, and it was truly great. If I had to mention one thing, I wish there were a few more options for the selectable breakfast menu.

I will stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

This was my first trip to Nagoya. I originally planned to stay at the Marriott directly connected to Nagoya Station, but something drew me to this Hotel, so I changed my reservation. You contacted me in advance, and I could already feel the high level of service before arriving. You also upgraded our Room, and while access is honestly better around Nagoya Station, this Hotel’s Facility is new and spotless. The Room was spacious with two closets, the bed was wide enough, and the mattress was excellent. Since the mattress at the Legoland Hotel we stayed at the night before didn’t suit us, I’m truly glad we stayed here for two nights. We slept very well each night. There was also turndown service—overall, we were extremely satisfied with the service. We only used the restaurant for breakfast, but everything was delicious. Our child especially loved the Totoro wooden plate and cup. On our first morning we didn’t have much time, so I planned to try the donuts and curry the next day—but they weren’t available that morning. I should have eaten what I wanted on that same day. The flat-rate taxi to Ghibli Park was also greatly appreciated. We initially planned it one-way only, but decided that morning to request a return ride as well, and your lobby staff handled it immediately. I also asked for taxi arrangements on both check-in day and at check-out; everything was very smooth and helpful. We felt comfortable throughout our stay, and I even wrote a thank-you message at check-out. Since it was my son’s birthday, he was delighted by the towel-cake surprise and message card. We would definitely like to stay here again when we visit Nagoya next time. Thank you very much for everything.

This was my first stay, and it was outstanding. The staff were extremely pleasant, kind, and attentive—nothing to complain about. They also upgraded my Room to a park-view Room. I ordered lobster à la carte, and it was delicious and perfectly firm. If I have the chance to visit Nagoya again, I will definitely stay here again. Thank you very much.

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

We had a truly wonderful stay. The Room was quiet and spotless, and it even had a portable Bluetooth speaker and a personal TV. The view from the window was full of greenery. Perhaps because the pool and bath require Reservations by time slot, they felt private and very relaxing. Breakfast was excellent—you could really taste the quality of the ingredients, and we were extremely satisfied. All of the staff were efficient and attentive, and the service was outstanding. If I may offer one small comment: The female staff working briskly on the first floor all had lovely smiles, and we received wonderful service. However, everyone seemed to be wearing high-heeled pumps (over 5 cm), and I wondered if standing for long hours in those shoes must be exhausting. I understand it may be part of maintaining the Hotel’s standards, but perhaps sneakers or flat shoes would also be acceptable. When we visit Nagoya again, we would love to stay here. Thank you very much for everything.

    It became a wonderful memory.

I had been wanting to stay here for some time, and I finally had the chance to spend one night. I was upgraded to the Euphoria Premier Corner King, which made for a comfortable and wonderful experience. All of the staff were extremely pleasant and attentive—there was nothing to fault. However, regarding skincare/cosmetic amenities, I learned from this Review that they can be provided upon request. I was disappointed not to find them in my Room, so it would have been helpful if this had been explained at check-in. Many women look forward to amenities, so I would appreciate your consideration. Breakfast was delicious as well. I also used the pool before checkout—it was lovely, and I wished I could have stayed longer. The wellness lounge is excellent too. I would definitely like to return again. I’m really looking forward to my next stay!

    I was satisfied.

This was my first time staying at a Hotel and my first time staying four nights in a row, but thanks to the newness of the Facility, the Marriott-style service, and the hospitality of all the staff, I was extremely satisfied. The value for money was excellent! In particular, I am very grateful to the female concierge for her help. When I visit Nagoya again, I would like to stay at this Hotel next time as well.

A high-quality, relaxing Hotel in the city center, ideal for families.

Even at the tail end of a long holiday period, I enjoyed a calm and highly satisfying Hotel stay right in the heart of Sakae, Nagoya. The guest room has great depth from the entrance to the window, giving it an open, spacious feel. The layout—with the vanity lined up directly in front of the bed—is distinctive, but once you actually stay there, you realize how smooth the flow is and how practical it is to use. What impressed me most was the view from the balcony on the Hisaya-odori Park side. In addition to Hisaya-odori Park stretching out right in front of you, you can also see Matsuzakaya, Mitsukoshi, and the skyline including The Landmark Nagoya Sakae high-rise building scheduled to open soon. The scenery from late afternoon into night was especially memorable. At night, I could enjoy a beer on the balcony while feeling the breeze—an unexpectedly resort-like way to spend time despite being in a city-center Hotel. If you value views, I recommend choosing a room on the Hisaya-odori Park side. For dinner, we used in-room dining. We ordered meat and fish dishes; even during busy hours we were not kept waiting too long, and both quality and flavor were very satisfying. For families with children—when restaurant options can be limited—the ability to relax and dine in your room without going out feels like a major advantage. Breakfast was buffet-style with an excellent selection. On the other hand, since it was during a long holiday period, it was quite crowded. To enjoy breakfast more calmly, introducing time-slot reservations could make it even more comfortable. I also appreciated that both the pool and fitness facilities are fully reservation-based with limited capacity. I could swim at my own pace without worrying about distance from others. It’s not very long, but it’s suitable for properly swimming all four strokes; backstroke and butterfly are easy enough as well. Swimsuits, caps (swim hats), and goggles are available for rental. There were kickboards too—it brought back memories of when I used to go to a swimming club. I didn’t use it this time, but the gym also seemed like a place where you could quietly focus on your workout. There were many guests staying with children as well, so it felt like a Hotel well suited for family stays. As for parking: they confirmed details such as our license plate number in advance and had everything properly secured for us, which made arrival reassuring. Overall, this is an excellent choice for anyone who wants refined yet peaceful time in central Nagoya—and it also pairs perfectly with enjoying shopping around Sakae before settling into your Hotel stay over a holiday weekend or day off.

    We had a comfortable stay.

We live nearby, but my spouse and I stayed overnight to fit our evening plans. All the staff were sincere and attentive; it didn’t feel particularly polished, but we found it pleasant. Service was generally straightforward, and that level of distance actually felt nice. Breakfast offered a good variety and was enjoyable. There were many international guests from Europe/Western countries and Asia; we did notice some Chinese guests speaking quite loudly, but it wasn’t especially bothersome or unpleasant. If I had one request, it would be to have skincare amenities in the Room, though most people probably bring their own favorites. We used the Diamond member benefit and bought some chocolate—it was very tasty, and we’d like to buy it again. It was a comfortable stay, so we’d like to stay here again.

    About Check-in Procedures

Since my first stay last May (my very first time), both this Hotel and its restaurants have been perfect—I fell in love with them. Since then I've traveled from Saitama to Nagoya specifically for this Hotel and have stayed here (and used its restaurants) twice with my mother and twice with friends; this trip was my fifth visit overall, staying two nights with my mother. Shuhari wasn’t available due to a private booking and a scheduled day off so we couldn’t go this time; however Tomorrow’s lunch、Room Service、and afternoon tea in the lounge were all perfect—once again truly excellent. That said、because it's such a good Hotel、I was disappointed by how one staff member handled our check-in. We arrived in the lobby at 13:20。Since we'd be having lunch next door first、I asked whether we'd likely be able enter our Room around about 14:30 using Diamond benefits once we'd finished eating。The answer was simply "I don't know," followed by "The idea of entering from 14:00 depends entirely on circumstances." So then when I'd ask "Should we come back again at 15:00?" their reply became "Well... yes." Of course i understand it's dependent on how busy things are—but I'd hoped they'd actually look into things rather than responding like it's too much trouble。And ideally since we'd wait next door anyway i'd really appreciate being told as soon as room is ready。 Also because we're not checked yet i couldn't charge outlet discount benefit onto room account;so i requested discount voucher so i could use for upcoming lunch right away—and also asked them please tell restaurant we'll use before checkin。They said they'd inform restaurant;but when i handed voucher during payment there、the staff didn't know what do & got confused which delayed us until i explained myself。 Later around about14:45 same lobby person processed actual checkin。When i'd ask "Can We enter room now?" they answered casually like obvious:"Yes you can" handing keys।Then when confirm checkout should be till13:00 right? They replied:"Well...with your benefits you can make till thirteen o'clock but..." So i had say:"Please set checkout thirteen。"They took card key back briefly & changed details so it'd work till thirteen。 I'm puzzled why none of these benefits were applied unless i insisted myself।They didn't even try checking anything & gave off an annoyed vibe which made me feel intimidated;and because of that waiting time grew longer while elderly mother sat there too。This is hotel both me & mom love dearly—so starting from checkin left us feeling sad especially since trip meant as filial travel for her。 Still i'll stay again。

    It was excellent.

The Room is spacious, there is turndown service, and the pool is the best part of this wonderful Hotel. I swam twice during my stay. It was great not having to bring a swimsuit or anything. The drinks and light snacks in the wellness lounge were just right, and I was able to enjoy a relaxing, luxurious time. I would like to stay again.

    My favorite Hotel in Nagoya

Because there are few luxury hotels in my hometown of Nagoya, I often used to travel to Osaka or Tokyo, but this was my first stay at TIAD and I was truly impressed—I had a very meaningful and wonderful time. The interior design was so beautiful it made me forget I was in Nagoya, and the room was stylish and very comfortable. The bathroom and wash area had underfloor heating, which made everything feel cozy. The amenities were excellent as well. I also appreciated that two 1-liter packs of water were provided—one at room temperature and one chilled in the refrigerator. I used the pool and spa facilities twice during my stay. One thing I would like to see improved is the pool temperature, which felt a bit low. After swimming, I wanted to relax by the poolside, but it was too cold to stay there while wet, so I moved straight to the spa area to warm up. That said, my overall satisfaction throughout the stay was very high, and it has become my favorite Hotel in Nagoya. Breakfast was delicious across the board, and it made me feel happy from the start of the day. Thank you for a wonderful Hotel stay.

    Inadequate cleaning

The visible areas looked clean. However, in a spot hidden behind the door, there was something on the floor that looked like droppings or seeds/nuts. The sheets also had yellow stains, which is not the level of cleanliness you would expect at a Hotel at this price. I informed the front desk, and they offered to move me to another room and said they would work to improve their cleaning.

A second stay you’ll remember for its comfort

This was my second stay. My previous visit left a strong impression, so I chose this Accommodation again without hesitation. From check-in, the staff were consistently courteous. The moment I entered the Room, I could feel the thoughtful attention to detail—from the bed linens to how beautifully the space was arranged. In the calm atmosphere, I was able to relax and take my time. I also dined at TIAD’s Japanese restaurant, SHUHARI. Every dish was delicious, and it made for a luxurious and comfortable afternoon. Whenever I visit Nagoya, I will definitely stay here again. I look forward to returning.

    It has improved a lot.

I stayed here again after about a year, and I was most impressed by how much the staff’s service level has improved. The front desk, in-Room service, and restaurant staff were all excellent. There were many international staff members as well, but I felt almost no stress—something I rarely experience. Child Sharing Existing Bedding is free for children up to 12 years old, and the gym and pool Facility are great. With breakfast included at this price, it’s probably unbeatable in Nagoya right now. As others have mentioned, the hair dryer is indeed difficult to use (I used it a year ago too, but still struggled this time), though a full replacement may not be realistic at this point. Breakfast offers a wide variety and is enjoyable, but there were a few disappointing items. Considering the guest profile, I think reducing the number of options slightly and improving quality would be rated more highly. Also, staying on the park side of this Hotel is essential. This time I was on the top floor (14F), so the view from the window was even better than before. Thank you for your consideration (even with a decent Sakae city view in Nagoya, it’s far better than staying on the city side).

A Hotel where you can unwind with thoughtful hospitality and a refined atmosphere

At the entrance, the door attendant greeted us courteously, and they handled our car with great care, which made us feel at ease. Guidance to the front desk was smooth, and the Hotel had a calm yet open atmosphere that left a very positive impression. In front of the reception area, a reflecting pool spread out behind glass, which was visually soothing. The front desk staff were consistently polite and attentive to our requests, allowing us to enjoy our stay with peace of mind. The guest room was spacious at 70 m² and very clean, offering plenty of room to relax in comfort. The location was also excellent, and we never felt inconvenienced during our stay. Amenities and in-room items were well stocked, and we were pleased to find RIEDEL glassware. We were especially impressed that a REPRONIZER hair dryer was provided—it's a favorite product we use at home as well, so it made things even more comfortable. We also enjoyed access to the gym, pool, and lounge, making it easy to spend an elegant time within the Hotel. Breakfast focused on locally sourced ingredients and was delicious overall. I particularly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict since it’s one of my favorites. If I had to mention one thing, I found the English muffin’s flavor and slight dryness a bit noticeable. We also visited for afternoon tea at the restaurant; the staff’s attentiveness was outstanding, and we had a pleasant time throughout. Overall, it was an extremely satisfying stay. It’s a wonderful Hotel where we would definitely like to stay again.

    It’s a Marriott, but…

I stayed with the No Meals Included plan. The Room interior and Facility were largely comparable to the main Marriott brand, and the Room was quite spacious, so it was comfortable overall. However, there were many disappointing points. The staff member handling check-in seemed flustered and inefficient. They may have been new, but as a guest I wouldn’t know that—so it was simply unpleasant. They suddenly asked me to present a credit card. When I said I didn’t have one, they whispered with a female staff member behind them. Whispering in front of guests doesn’t look professional. Later I was told it was because room charging isn’t available without registering a credit card (apparently registration is enough), but they didn’t explain how to register or mention this from the start. Wouldn’t it be better to say: “Since you don’t have a registered card, room charging isn’t available. If we hold your credit card, we can enable it—what would you like to do?” It really felt like they were forcing their own service style on guests. On the other hand, another female staff member who helped me with something else later was excellent—I hope the team continues improving overall. Speaking of things being forced on guests: that also applies to in-room items and information. I understand wanting to cater strongly to inbound travelers, but you should be able to tell from booking data whether the guest is Japanese or not. This isn’t a budget business Hotel—at minimum, please set things like the in-room equipment guidance (tablet display) and amenity box labels so they switch between English and Japanese depending on the guest. Having everything in English is inconvenient, and having a speaker suddenly start talking in English felt honestly creepy. It spoke when my partner touched her phone—maybe it meant pairing is available—but it was fast English and hard to understand. It seems this Hotel is operated by a different company than Marriott itself; maybe that’s why, but it felt like “Marriott” only in atmosphere.

    I stayed at a wonder...

I stayed at a wonderful hotel after a long time. The high ceilings in the room and elevator created a spacious and luxurious atmosphere, making it very comfortable. The room service, including bed-making and towel replacement (which has become rare these days), was impeccable, allowing me to enjoy a well-maintained hotel experience. However, during afternoon tea time, I noticed that while the front desk staff were very professional, the staff in the lounge seemed less attentive. Despite several staff members passing by, they didn’t notice us or follow up on my coffee refill request. This stood out because of how excellent the hotel is overall. Still, whenever I stay in Nagoya again, I will definitely choose TIAD!

    New Year's Hotel Stay

I stayed at TIAD for a Multiple Night Stay over New Year's, even though I live in Nagoya, to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The corner king Room on the high floor had a great view and provided a comfortable stay. However, there were two points of concern: 1. The 2 PM check-in benefit for Diamond members was not met. While I understand it might have been due to staff shortages during the New Year period, I ended up entering the Room just before the usual 3 PM check-in time. This one-hour delay felt significant as most shops were closed on New Year's Day, and the Hotel lounge was fully booked with afternoon tea reservations. I managed to find an open spot in a corner to have tea and pass the time. 2. On the second day, no one asked about my preferred turndown service time, so I assumed it wouldn't happen. However, at around the same time as the previous day, an international staff member came while room service was being delivered. When asked if they were from room service, they said yes but proceeded with tasks like laying out pajamas and tidying up trash—turns out it was turndown service! Since room service had already arrived and turndown wasn't necessary at that moment, I politely declined their help. For Multiple Night Stays especially, I'd appreciate being asked about whether or not turndown is needed (as is common in other Hotels). Additionally, communication issues arose due to language barriers with international staff. As it was New Year's season, I expected more festive events or atmosphere; however aside from decorations like kadomatsu (traditional pine arrangements) and breakfast items such as kamaboko (fish cake), datemaki (rolled omelet), and kuromame (black beans), there wasn’t much else reflecting Japanese New Year traditions. Even though it's an international Hotel brand—I would have appreciated more effort in creating a festive ambiance. Despite these points mentioned above overall customer service was excellent! I'm considering visiting again next year for another wonderful start into January!

A luxury Hotel where adults can relax in comfort.

This was undoubtedly one of the most satisfying luxury hotels I have ever stayed at. From the overall design of the hotel to the attentive and thorough service provided by the staff, everything left a lasting impression. While there were no complimentary room upgrades and relatively strict rules, my stay was still very comfortable, and I had an excellent time overall. What I particularly liked was that both the pool and bath required reservations, with limited usage capacity. This ensured that it never felt overcrowded, allowing me to enjoy my time at the pool without worrying about others around me. Additionally, guests under 16 years old are not allowed in these areas, which helps maintain a calm environment for adults to exercise or relax peacefully. I hope this policy remains unchanged as it significantly contributed to making my stay more enjoyable. The breakfast service was also outstanding. The staff were highly attentive and noticed our needs before we even had to ask. Despite a busy restaurant during our visit, the quality of service remained consistently high throughout. The quality of amenities stood out as well. A high-end air purifier was provided in the room, and bath amenities were Italian-made products. Recently, cost-cutting measures have become noticeable even in luxury hotels; however, this hotel gave no such impression. It is evident that attention is paid not only to brand names but also to finer details here. I sincerely hope they continue maintaining this level of quality without resorting to cost-cutting like other hotels. If there’s one thing that could be improved upon, it would be offering a complimentary minibar service—it would elevate an already exceptional experience further since many luxury hotels provide this feature for free. Overall, this is a highly recommended hotel—especially suitable for solo travelers or couples seeking a relaxing getaway. It’s one of those rare places where you feel certain you’d want to return again someday! Looking forward to my next stay here—thank you very much!

    Parking.

I was worried about parking because my car is large, but when I inquired, the staff responded politely, which gave me great peace of mind. On the day of my stay, I was impressed that staff were present on-site. The Room was also upgraded, allowing me to have a very comfortable stay. Thank you so much. The only thing that bothered me was finding hair in the bedside accessory tray. If not for that, it would have been a perfect experience.

    The International Hotel

The nearest exit is stairs-only, which can be inconvenient if you have luggage. For a hotel of this class, the breakfast quality was disappointing: crab shumai lacked crab flavor, chili shrimp was mostly batter, scrambled eggs had no egg taste, and the simmered vegetables were cold and seemed prepackaged. If I stay again, I would choose No Meals Included. However, the staff promptly cleared empty plates, which was appreciated. The room was spacious and comfortable with a separate bath and shower area. The lounge on the 6th floor can be used even without using the fitness facilities; I enjoyed some herbal tea and a bit of fruit there.

This was my first stay at the accommodation. The doorman, turndown service staff, and restaurant staff provided excellent and courteous service. The amenities were well-prepared. Breakfast was delicious, and I felt like staying for a multiple night stay. However, there were two issues: The bathtub faucet was stiff, so I used the shower instead. The conditioner pump was hard to press and did not work properly. Please check these during cleaning. Overall, it was a wonderful hotel stay!

A truly TIAD experience awaits you.

Diamond Member benefits include 1-hour early check-in and 1-hour late check-out. On top of that, a choice of gift with a half bottle of Veuve Clicquot! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the Room was not overly spacious but modern and cozy. I would love to visit again!

I visited for a monthly refresh. The overall atmosphere of the hotel was sophisticated, and the view from the pool was especially beautiful, allowing me to forget daily life. The room was lovely, but the view from the window was of residential areas, which was a bit disappointing. It was unfortunate that there were no cosmetic amenities available. I looked forward to breakfast and enjoyed an avocado dish on French bread, but the bread was a bit hard to cut cleanly with a knife, which was slightly disappointing. I didn’t have time to explore inside the Hotel, which I regret. Next time, I’d like to check out facilities like the pool.

It is said to have one Michelin star.

As a Japanese guest, while this is undoubtedly a first-class Hotel, there are some points to note. The Facility has slow elevators, and the public bath is almost non-existent. However, everything else was excellent. Staff service varied depending on the individual; there were some nice staff members, but overall it felt like there were more underwhelming ones than sharp professionals. Many staff gave the impression of being "inexperienced yet overly confident" rather than truly hospitable. They might be struggling with handling inbound guests, but I would recommend visiting other top-tier Hotels in Japan to see the clear difference in service quality. The overall experience felt somewhat unsmooth despite its prime location. Considering cost performance—would I return? It's debatable...
