    As a Japanese guest, while this is undoubtedly a first-class Hotel, there are some points to note. The Facility has slow elevators, and the public bath is almost non-existent. However, everything else was excellent. Staff service varied depending on the individual; there were some nice staff members, but overall it felt like there were more underwhelming ones than sharp professionals. Many staff gave the impression of being "inexperienced yet overly confident" rather than truly hospitable. They might be struggling with handling inbound guests, but I would recommend visiting other top-tier Hotels in Japan to see the clear difference in service quality. The overall experience felt somewhat unsmooth despite its prime location. Considering cost performance—would I return? It's debatable...

    Used for her birthday celebration.

    She has been a long-time companion, and she said this was the best birthday celebration ever, which made her very happy. In recent years, we have often stayed at hotels in Nagoya City, such as Marriott and Tokyu. However, to be honest, TIAD is on a completely different level. First of all, the staff's service had just the right balance of attentiveness and distance, making our stay very comfortable. From the front desk during check-in to guiding us to the elevator, explaining wellness facilities, dinner service, room service—everything exceeded our expectations. The meals were outstanding for both dinner and breakfast. Everything was delicious; especially the main meat dish could have felt heavy due to its order in the course but remained delightful until the last bite thanks to its sauce and sides. The breakfast omelet was also exceptional—I wished I could keep eating it forever! As for the pool—the location truly stands out. While other hotels usually offer indoor pools, TIAD’s open-air setting exudes luxury with fewer guests around; we fully enjoyed it including access to their thermal bath area. For us, this is truly an exceptional Hotel. We definitely want to stay here again!

    Wish to stay again

    The beauty of the building and the hospitality of the staff were both wonderful. However, I wish the pool policy allowed those under 16 to enter if accompanied by a guardian. I will stay here again when I visit Nagoya.

    Stay for Your Birthday

    Upgraded to a higher-grade room on the top floor. The service was exceptionally polite from the entrance. The room had perfect lighting, a plush bed, and was overall excellent. Amenities and towels were refreshed twice daily during cleaning, maintaining their initial state. Coffee, toothbrushes, shampoo, and other items were replenished no matter how much you used them. The pool and lounge exuded luxury, with clean towels, caps, and goggles available for borrowing. From the pool area, you can enjoy a stunning view of Mirai Tower—an incredible sight. For men, there is also a sauna to warm up after swimming in the pool. The lounge offers fruits, protein drinks, sports drinks—an appreciated touch of service. Dinner was absolutely delicious and felt worth more than its price tag. I truly felt like a VIP during my stay and look forward to staying again!

    It was excellent.

    This was my first stay, and it was excellent. At the entrance, I was always greeted with a warm "Welcome back" or "Have a great day," even late at night, and always with a smile. This level of hospitality is rare even at luxury hotels in Tokyo, so it left a very positive impression. First and last impressions are everything! Check-in was smooth with no waiting time. The room was spacious, impeccably clean, and well-maintained with thoughtful amenities. The next morning, I decided to order the continental breakfast on a whim—it had just the right amount of variety and volume to be satisfying. From luggage delivery to in-room dining to check-out, everything went perfectly without any issues. Considering it's only been about a year since its opening, this hotel is truly impressive. It's been a while since I've felt this way about any hotel—I definitely want to stay at TIAD again!

    Refresh with Accommodation

    It was excellent again! Since traveling far is difficult, I stayed here for a refreshing break even though I live in the city. It felt like a space outside of Nagoya, and I was able to relax even in a short time. The futon and pillows were fluffy. The breakfast had a wide variety and was enjoyable. The Japanese meal changed from seasoned rice to plain white rice. I would love to stay here again!

    Wonderful Hotel

    This was my first time staying at this accommodation. The room was upgraded as a benefit of being a Diamond member, allowing me to enjoy a very relaxing time. Upon entering the room, I was touched by the two adorable swans prepared for our special occasion! I also enjoyed the pool with a reservation at 8 PM. The location is excellent, with Matsuzakaya right in front, making shopping and dining convenient and enjoyable. It would be perfect if there were a complimentary club lounge exclusively for high-floor guests. The staff's service was kind and attentive, making it a very pleasant hotel experience. I will definitely stay here again!

    The rooms may be difficult for elderly guests to navigate.

    The hotel was beautiful, the service was pleasant, and the location was excellent. I would like to stay here again when I visit Nagoya. However, there were a few concerns regarding the room amenities: ① Upon entering the room, I couldn't find where the slippers were and had to search for them (they are usually placed at the bottom of the closet). ② The bathroom mirror protruded by a few centimeters, and since glasses were placed directly underneath it, I accidentally hit one against the protrusion and broke it (I apologize for breaking it, but perhaps placing glasses slightly further forward would be better). ③ The bedside tablet was difficult to use; even though it was properly placed on its stand, its battery ran out by morning. This caused some frustration. Adjusting lighting at night was also challenging. ④ The shampoo containers were hard to squeeze; as someone older with hand pain, using them with one hand was difficult (younger people might not have an issue). ⑤ The hairdryer provided (a Repronizer) had a small power switch that was hard to locate and felt heavy compared to my Panasonic dryer at home. For occasional use in a hotel setting, such hairdryers can be inconvenient—simpler ones might be better suited. ⑥ Breakfast items like omelets took too long to arrive—they came when I had nearly finished eating everything else. If offering customizable fillings takes time during preparation, perhaps serving plain omelets only could streamline things. I frequently stay at hotels of similar standards due to my travels every month but found myself unusually confused by these issues in this particular room—making me feel my age anew...

    The hotel is very ni...

    The hotel is very nice, but there was an unfortunate incident. During my Multiple Night Stay, after the first night, I informed the concierge at 10 AM when leaving that I would like the room cleaned and that I would return by 12 PM. However, when I returned in the afternoon, the room had not been cleaned. I went to the front desk to request expedited cleaning and waited for an hour in the lounge until it was completed. Unfortunately, this caused a delay in my schedule as I had to eat a cold meal. While mistakes happen and are understandable, there was no apology at checkout or even during my call with the concierge. It’s disappointing that such a high-end Hotel did not seem to have proper communication among staff regarding this matter.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    An amazing Hotel! My favorite part is the pool—you can see Nagoya TV Tower while swimming underwater. Truly amazing! Another highlight is the breakfast. The quality is outstanding, and all three dishes you can order are beautifully presented and taste incredible. The view from the restaurant showcases the lush greenery of Hisaya Odori, reminiscent of the Ritz-Carlton Central Park in New York. Also, don’t miss trying their curry bread at breakfast—it’s a delightful surprise waiting for you to discover! I’ve finally found a Hotel I want to stay at again after a long time. It’s the best in Nagoya. Thank you to all the staff for making my stay so pleasant!

    Stayed for our wedding anniversary. We had informed IKYU in advance. Upon entering the room, we were greeted by two swan-shaped towel decorations on the bed! Thank you for the thoughtful gesture. At checkout, I left a note to express my gratitude to the person who made them. TIAD was truly an exceptional hotel. I would love to stay again in the future. One small thing I noticed was that using the iPad was a bit challenging, but overall, it was a very satisfying stay. Thank you so much!

    I stayed the night b...

    I stayed the night before at TIAD since my friend's wedding venue was there. The gym and pool available for accommodation guests were excellent. It was easy to borrow workout clothes and shoes, and I even received protein drinks, making for a very comfortable experience.

    The best Hotel in Nagoya

    While there are few luxury hotels in Nagoya, this is currently considered one of the best. Although children cannot use the gym or pool, the staff's friendly service ensures a pleasant stay even for families with kids. The building and facilities are impressive; however, the view from outside is somewhat disappointing unless you are on the Hisaya Odori Park side. While there are some areas for improvement, considering the price and offerings, you can fully enjoy your hotel stay. I look forward to visiting again.

    Well, it was good, but...

    I saw two women going to the bath in gowns and hotel slippers. It's not exactly unpleasant, but it feels a bit off. I wonder if it's difficult for the reception staff to address this. In the men's bath, I noticed someone entering with a bath towel dipped in the water. It's a bit troubling. The room facilities were good.

    It was extremely comfortable.

    The room and service were both excellent, and although I went to Nagoya for a concert, it turned out to be a great hotel stay. Both the pool and spa required reservations, but I was able to make reservations as desired, allowing me to relax without overlapping too much with others. I would like to stay again when I visit Nagoya.

    The interior is clea...

    The interior is clean and modern, with a design that highlights Japanese elements in key areas, as it has only been two years since it was built. True to a modern Hotel, there is hardly any paper information available, and the Room's facilities are intuitive and easy to use. However, I thought it would be nice to have instructions on the tablet since it is available. The bathtub was shallow and not the type you can soak deeply in. It might be tailored to Western habits, but I felt it wasn't long enough either. Dinner was enjoyed at the attached restaurant. The dishes were visually appealing and tasted good, and the service was not bad. However, given that the tables were not crowded that day, I felt the explanations for each dish were a bit lacking (for example, I learned about the preparation details of the bonito appetizer from a booklet available in the Room). The attached pool was very impressive and enjoyable. The view of the TV tower is worth seeing. Initially, I thought there was no lounge, but when I went to the gym, I found a small lounge space nearby where light snacks were available. There was no information about this at the front desk, perhaps intentionally? I think it is a unique Hotel that Nagoya has not had before, so the stay itself was enjoyable.

    If you're in Nagoya, stay here.

    This is the No.1 in Nagoya. The location, Room, and atmosphere are superior to Marriott and Hilton. The Room is well-designed with high-quality furnishings and thoughtful touches everywhere. We recommend the Room with a balcony facing the Matsuzakaya area. The staff are pleasant and accommodating, making it a first-class Hotel. However, it might be considered expensive for Nagoya.

    Breakfast

    During breakfast, I checked out wondering why I was asked about the select menu items as they never arrived, but I understood after reading other people's reviews. The situation and feelings were the same, so I will omit them. It seems it hasn't been improved. I chose the avocado dish, which was explained to me as "healthy." The tea was served promptly. There seemed to be a lot of hall staff, and they appeared to be very attentive to the guests. If it takes time to serve, I would like to be informed at the beginning. It's a shame because everything else was good. I look forward to the next time.

    Underestimating breakfast

    An Unbelievable Breakfast! The price is approximately 5800 yen. I understand it's a buffet style with a focus on Western cuisine, but I was tempted by the few Japanese dishes like nori tsukudani, Onsen eggs, and miso soup, so I chose them. However, when I arrived and asked for white rice, unbelievably!!! There was no white rice available! This is truly unbelievable! Considering the price and the menu, it's unacceptable! What are you thinking when choosing the side dishes? If it's Western cuisine, don't include nori tsukudani! It's really unbelievable!
