    Upgrading the Room g...

    Upgrading the Room grade made me realize once again that it truly makes for a wonderful stay in every way. It was my first time using the lounge, and with a wide selection of items and excellent taste, I was able to relax and enjoy my time. I was disappointed to miss the violin performance. We visited for a family milestone, and both last time and this time we received congratulatory words from the front desk staff, which we truly appreciated. We visit Kanazawa several times a year, and our family has been talking about staying at this Hotel from now on. Thank you very much for your wonderful hospitality.

    A Rewarding Hotel Stay

    Two years ago, when I visited Kanazawa in Hokuriku for the first time, I stayed here and became a big fan... and this time was my fourth stay. (I heard someone checking in next to me being told, “Thank you for staying with us again,” so I still have a long way to go...) Since this trip was all about enjoying a relaxing Hotel stay, this place meets every requirement: comfort, the spacious and unhurried atmosphere inside the building, satisfaction with the lounge, and the staff’s service. Spending time in the club lounge is simply wonderful. I use lounges quite often at various destinations, and this one ranks very high in terms of satisfaction. Delicious drinks and sweets, plus local specialties as well—you really make it hard not to overindulge. Has my favorite chocolate galette disappeared from the menu? I’d love to see it come back. The Hotel is right in front of Omicho Market, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. This time I skipped breakfast at the Hotel and enjoyed those options instead. I bought a cute mizuhiki necklace at the shop—also picked up another one in a different color for my son’s girlfriend. I’m used to walking to the station now, but when I had more luggage or depending on the time of day, I also made good use of the shuttle bus. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

    The bathroom has a glass wall.

    The location, service, and meals deserve 5 stars with no complaints. However, since I stayed with a same-sex friend, the glass-walled bathroom was inconvenient to use. At the very least, if the toilet had been separate, I could have tolerated it. For that reason, I rated the bathroom 2 stars and my overall satisfaction 4.

    Overall satisfied the second time as well.

    Because hospitality is a people-centered business, mistakes can happen from time to time. What matters most is the sincere mindset and attitude to face them head-on and respond appropriately. This was our second stay at Sanraku, following our visit last September. My wife absolutely loves it, so this time we made a major change to our plans from Hiroshima to Kyoto and enjoyed four nights here. Thank you very much. I forgot to confirm his name, but the older male staff member in the restaurant (with slightly thinning hair—sorry) was especially wonderful, and we truly appreciated his service.

    My expectations were high.

    I appreciated having both a bathtub and a separate washing area. Also, in addition to the 500 ml plastic bottles (water and roasted green tea) for two people, there was also 2 L of water provided. During our Multiple Night Stay, these were freshly replenished as well, which was a pleasant surprise. Breakfast felt priced for inbound tourists. The Spanish mackerel nigiri was delicious and I wanted more, but I gave up because it was paired with shrimp as a set. I wish it had been available as an individual item like the others. By the way, when I asked if the Spanish mackerel was only what was displayed, I was told yes—however, it was later replenished as part of the set. At the shop, when I asked about the price of Kutani ware bowls with gold leaf on the inside, I was told there would be a price revision from 6/1 and that it would not be sold at the displayed price. When I asked whether they had been purchased before then, they said it is consignment sales so they must sell according to the notice—but in that case, they should change the price tags by that date. It left me feeling uncomfortable and disappointed.

    A Beautiful and Comfortable Accommodation

    Three women shared one Room, and it didn’t feel cramped. It would have been even better if there had been a stand for opening suitcases. The Club was great, but it was disappointing that the last order at night was so early. Since it’s buffet-style, I wish they would keep the buffet available until closing—even with fewer options—so guests can still grab something until the end. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The café on the first floor had lovely terrace seating facing the courtyard, but the service was slow. Perhaps they were new staff.

    The hospitality was excellent.

    Because we made a Reservation for a large group with guests from overseas, there were a few mistakes on our side during the booking process. However, both the staff at the front desk and in the lounge were incredibly warm and kindly accommodated our special requests, which helped us so much. I’m truly grateful. Thanks to you, all of our overseas guests said they had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. This was my third time using the lounge, and as always, the food and cakes were delicious. There was also an excellent selection of ice cream, Yoshihashi Japanese sweets, and drinks, so I had a very satisfying time. Everyone was also delighted with breakfast—everything was delicious, especially the live-kitchen tempura—and said it was wonderful. Thank you very much for your warm hospitality and comfortable space. When I visit Kanazawa again, I would love to stay with you again.

    Highly satisfying

    Later I wondered if I could have chosen a Room with a better view, but I assume the pricing is structured accordingly. The overall atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxing. I was satisfied with dinner, and breakfast was especially wonderful. I would like to stay again. Thank you very much.

    Wonderful Hotel

    It was a wonderful Hotel that exceeded our expectations. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and we had a very comfortable stay. The lounge was also a cozy space where we could relax and enjoy our time. It was an excellent Hotel in every way, and we were completely satisfied. Thank you very much.

    On a trip to Kanazawa.

    As a five-star Hotel, my expectations were high, so I was honestly surprised that the Room TV did not support VOD. I had hoped to relax in the Room and watch Prime Video, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible. The Room was comfortable, with refined amenities and well-appointed facilities. Breakfast was also delicious and enjoyed at a leisurely pace, so overall I was satisfied.

    This was my second stay, following last year. This time, instead of a club Room, I stayed in a Room that came with a cake set. Last time I tried every kind of cake, but over these two days I carefully chose one outstanding cake each day and truly enjoyed them. The cakes here are simply the best—beautiful and delicious, and you can really feel the pastry chef’s passion in them.\nBecause it rained so much, we fully enjoyed staying at the Hotel. At night, my wife and I enjoyed cocktails at the bar—something I rarely drink. On the first night we had a “Very Berry?” cocktail along with a tiramisu cake set. In high spirits, we also ordered an Amaretto Sour and a Darjeeling Cooler—both absolutely superb and genuinely moving.\nOn the second night, I told the bartender what I liked and had a Clover Club and a Popcorn Sour—again unforgettable. It made me reflect on how cocktails aren’t just about price compared to what I drank when I was younger; it also reminded me how much more I’ve come to appreciate different kinds of drinks as an adult.\nAll in all, it was Golden Week that made me decide to return to reality and work hard for my third trip to Kanazawa.\nBy the way, breakfast is truly delicious and far better value than eating out. The only downside is that I always eat too much and end up regretting it later.

    There was a family w...

    There was a family with children staying in the neighboring Room, and I could hear their voices when I stepped into the hallway, but no noise carried into my Room at all.\nI stayed for two nights and was able to relax comfortably.

    Highly satisfied

    From the warm welcome, it was very impressive that all the staff greeted us cheerfully with smiles. The Kanazawa-style interior of the building and the Room, along with the Kutani ware decor placed throughout, were wonderful and really got us into the travel mood. Breakfast offered a wide variety of dishes, and we appreciated being able to enjoy flavors not only from Kanazawa but also from other parts of Hokuriku! The Room was also very well maintained and truly comfortable! If only the shower water pressure were a bit stronger, it would be perfect. We will come again. Thank you very much.

    A girls’ trip with my daughter

    I had planned trips to Kanazawa many times, but they always fell through—until I finally made it happen! The Hotel was right near Omicho Market, and Kenrokuen Garden, Kanazawa Castle, and the Higashi Chaya District were all within walking distance, so I was able to enjoy plenty of sightseeing. The breakfast buffet was crowded, but the dishes were replenished regularly, so I could eat what I liked without any stress. It was a truly satisfying trip to Kanazawa.

    The lounge is excellent.

    It was our first stay in two years. We were disappointed not to see the snowy scenery again this time, but the lounge was so comfortable that we were delighted to fully enjoy Kanazawa cuisine. The staff service was excellent, and we were amazed by the wide variety of dishes at the breakfast restaurant. We would like to stay again next year.

    It was a Hotel with wonderful hospitality!

    First of all, the entire Hotel was new and spotless, with stylish Japanese-inspired interiors, and the cleaning was thorough down to every detail, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The hospitality was excellent as well, which made my impression of Ishikawa even better! The amenities and complimentary drinks were more than satisfactory, and the shampoo and conditioner were high quality without that typical Hotel dryness—my hair was easy to style the next day, which surprised me. I would definitely like to stay again! Thank you very much.

    I’ll definitely stay here again!

    Thank you for taking care of us for two days. It was a wonderful Hotel, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The Room was clean and comfortable. From check-in to check-out, it was a Hotel that made us glad we chose to stay here. When we come to Kanazawa again, we will definitely stay here. Next time, we would love to try the breakfast!

    A very popular Hotel

    It’s in an incredibly convenient location, close to Kanazawa’s central sightseeing spots! The staff were very kind and truly professional. I heard the breakfast is highly rated, but unfortunately I couldn’t make it this time. The Room was spacious and clean, and the towels and bedding were of good quality. The design is stylish as well. It seems to be a very popular Hotel, and it was full of tourists.

    I’d love to stay here again.

    - The bed was excellent, with a firm mattress just the way I like it, and I slept very well. - The vanity mirror is lit with incandescent lighting, making it easy to apply makeup. - With the window open, you can hear the gentle sound of water in the courtyard, which is very soothing. - The skincare items (toner, etc.) were from a familiar brand and were great to use. - The in-room coffee was also delicious. - The Room was thoroughly cleaned and well maintained. Overall, everything was wonderful. I would like to stay again.

    Overall, it was a very nice Hotel. The Room was spacious, clean, and easy to use. The bathroom was also comfortable, and I was able to relax in the bath several times. You can’t really expect much of a view from the Room, but it was bright and the blinds were stylish, so it didn’t bother me at all. Breakfast was excellent, and I enjoyed most of Kanazawa’s local specialties. Next time I’d like to try the Western-style buffet as well. Also, when I was tired and couldn’t decide whether to eat dinner out or in my Room, I asked the front desk for advice several times, and they kindly shared lots of helpful information. The service was great. The location is convenient too, and I’d definitely like to stay here again when visiting Kanazawa.

    One of the best Hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

    I was truly impressed by this Hotel. The hospitality was outstanding, and the staff provided wonderful service. I’m glad we chose the plan with lounge access. The cake was delicious, and the tea and coffee service was excellent as well. The food was luxurious and very tasty. We had a wonderful time—thank you very much. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kanazawa.

    A place you’ll want to stay at least once!

    I’d been interested in this Accommodation for about two or three years and had always wanted to stay here, so this time I booked a plan with breakfast… and everything was wonderful—the Room, the breakfast, and even the staff! It’s not cheap, but it felt worth even more than the price, so I’m really glad I got to stay here. However, one disappointing thing was that one of the glasses in the Room had a visible lip mark/stain. All the other guests also had good manners, and it was a refined place overall, which I really appreciated. If I have another chance, it will definitely be on my list again.

    HAWAII LOVE！

    The lounge is amazing!

    I stayed in the Club Room a year ago and it was wonderful, so this time I invited my brother and the three of us (my husband, my brother, and I) stayed again. We were able to relax in the lounge, and every cake at afternoon tea was delicious—we were very satisfied. The bath was spacious and comfortable, and the amenities were BVLGARI; the fragrance was lovely and very soothing. Breakfast buffet wasn’t too crowded, so we could eat at a leisurely pace, but the staff cleared plates quite frequently, which felt a little unsettling. I understand they are working hard, so it would be appreciated if plates could be cleared when they are placed at the edge of the table. All staff provided service with a smile, so we plan to come again next year. Highly recommended in Kanazawa!

    An Elevated Stay in Kanazawa

    This was my second stay. The staff’s thoughtful attention, the high-quality breakfast, the in-Room amenities, and the excellent location made for a comfortable stay in Kanazawa. It was just a few minutes’ walk to the back gate entrance of Kanazawa Castle Park, and Omicho Market was also very close by, which was extremely convenient. There is also a Shuttle Service from Kanazawa Station, so we didn’t need to rent a car. When we entered the breakfast venue, we were impressed by the pleasant greetings from the staff and their considerate service, such as quietly clearing finished plates. The tea set in the Room was elegant Kutani ware, and there was also a capsule coffee machine, which made our stay feel one level above. Thank you very much.

    Very satisfied.

    Since my stay was not on a weekend, it wasn’t very crowded and I had a relaxing stay. The lounge offered a wide variety of drinks and food, and because it was divided into three areas, I could choose a quiet spot, which was great. Many sightseeing spots were within walking distance, so the Hotel’s location was convenient. I would like to stay again.

    An Even More Enhanced Breakfast

    I stayed here again for the first time in six months. The breakfast has always been excellent, but this time it was even better, and I was truly impressed. Breakfast standards seem to be improving at many Hotels overall, but I still feel this Hotel is in a class of its own.

    Perfect base for sightseeing in Kanazawa—a Hotel to unwind with sweets and live music

    Just as the reviews on IKYU and Google suggest, this was an outstanding Hotel with exceptionally well-rounded offerings. [Location & Access] An unbeatable base for sightseeing in Kanazawa: a 1-minute walk to Omicho Market, and only a few minutes on foot to Kenrokuen Garden and the Higashi Chaya District (the preserved area at the entrance). On the other hand, the free Shuttle Service from the station takes about 30 minutes due to intermediate stops. [Lounge & Dining] The tea-time sweets were surprisingly high quality—on par with a specialty shop! Cocktail time ends relatively early (last order comes quickly), but since tea time is so lavish, it was more than enough for me personally. Breakfast was also excellent, packed with Kanazawa flavors; given the local culture, I would have been even happier if sake had been available as well. [Overall Impression of the Stay] Perhaps because it is relatively new, everything felt very clean, and the live music during cocktail time greatly enhanced satisfaction. With no upper floors and only a limited number of rooms per floor, you can enjoy a calm, intimate stay. [Expectations for Service] The staff work very hard, though some still seemed to be getting used to things. For example, when clearing dishes, I felt that a brief word to guests would further elevate this Hotel’s signature hospitality.
