    First Stay for a Birthday Trip

    We visited this accommodation for a birthday trip, as it had been on our list for a while. After carefully reading the reviews, we decided to book, but personally, I wouldn’t return. **Positive Points:** - Great for sauna enthusiasts. - Clean facilities with multiple opportunities to enjoy the sauna. - Outdoor relaxation space (3 chairs). - Sauna temperature was close to 90°C, which was excellent. **Areas for Improvement:** The dining experience left much to be desired. We booked for two adults with dinner and breakfast included. Upon arrival at the dining area, we were assigned seats without any consultation: some tables near the entrance were semi-private and calm; however, we were seated in a large banquet-style hall past the buffet area on an elevated section alongside families with small children and large groups—far too noisy and not relaxing at all. When I immediately asked a male staff member if our seats could be changed, he replied that they were fully booked (though there seemed to be empty tables near the entrance). Reluctantly staying in that seat made it difficult to enjoy our meal due to constant noise; as someone who isn’t comfortable around children in such settings, this arrangement was disappointing. The next morning’s breakfast situation mirrored dinner's issues: when checking with a female receptionist about seating arrangements beforehand, she mentioned seating would be based on arrival order. However, upon reaching the venue early in the morning and speaking with what appeared to be a manager-like figure about available seats or waiting options if necessary—he initially said they’d call us via room phone once something opened up but then quickly corrected himself saying there’s availability now... only leading us back into another noisy banquet hall setting again! Unable anymore tolerate discomfort caused by surroundings during meals—I politely requested elderly female staff nearby whether waiting longer instead switching toward quieter middle/front sections possible? Her response shocked everyone present loudly exclaiming “We don’t do calls here!” before realizing misunderstanding apologizing afterward moving us forward empty table areas finally resolving issue albeit leaving sour taste overall impression handling customer concerns professionally manner expected price-point charged ¥50k/night felt unjustified compared typical Business Hotel costing ¥10k range better suited expectations value-for-money ratio disappointing ultimately memorable reasons wrong ones unfortunately no photos taken entire stay reflecting sentiment hope future improvements focus creating balanced atmosphere guests seeking peaceful celebratory occasions alike!

    Used for 2 consecutive years

    The place was very clean, and the free services were excellent. I used it last year and again this year, and I want to come back next year too. It’s a bit disappointing that the rooms are limited for 5 people in one room. The buffet was delicious and satisfying.

    A year ago, I couldn't make a family reservation and stayed at Umi. This time, I traveled solo and stayed at Sora! It was just as relaxing as I had hoped. The staff were all very kind, especially the gentleman in his 50s or 60s during breakfast who, despite being busy, kindly toasted bread for me and prepared a coffee cup to take back to my room. I truly appreciated their hospitality. I would love to stay here again when visiting Fukuoka. Thank you for everything!

    We had a wonderful family commemorative stay.

    Thank you very much. We planned a family trip and searched for accommodation. We found The358 SORA, which we had been interested in before, and quickly made a reservation. Upon arriving at the hotel, our first impression was that it was clean and beautiful. The check-in process went smoothly. The room was lovely with an amazing view. Dinner was a luxurious buffet with a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delicious and satisfying. The large public bath was clean, and the night view from the open-air bath was stunning. Breakfast was also delicious and enjoyable. We checked out while thinking about wanting to stay again in the future. To all the hotel staff: Thank you very much for your hospitality!

    The Hotel is suitable for families with children.

    I wish I had properly understood the features of the accommodation before staying. However, the staff's inefficiency at the dining venues for breakfast and dinner was noticeable. Although it was a buffet style, when asking the staff stationed at each dish about the food, their responses were neither friendly nor accompanied by a smile. Even if this hotel is suitable for families with children, being guided to a noisy area filled with children did not provide a relaxing dining experience. For guests staying without children, it might be considerate to offer seating in quieter areas away from such noise.

    First Stay

    As for my impression of the stay, the route to the room was unusually long (likely a design issue). The hotel itself was comfortable, but the surrounding commercial facilities seemed underdeveloped. Since I stayed without a car, finding meals was a bit challenging (closing times were also relatively early). If I have another opportunity, I would like to visit this beautiful hotel again.

    Great value for money!

    A buffet breakfast with a variety of sashimi options. The large public bath is clean, and towels are unlimited. Enjoy all-you-can-drink ice cream and soft drinks. The shuttle service staff were kind and attentive. Had a pleasant stay. "As expected from the Yazuya Group!"

    Everything is perfect!!

    The facility and amenities are very well-equipped. Above all, the cleanliness is outstanding, with staff frequently cleaning even the large public bath area, leaving trash bins almost empty. Additionally, the open-air bath with its excellent location allowed me to enjoy a luxurious time that made me forget my busy daily life. After bathing, you can relax by reading manga while using a massage chair or enjoy an ice pop. Unlike many hotels nowadays that reduce amenities, this hotel offers a wide range of them. Items like cotton swabs and hair ties are individually packaged and placed in both the room and the dressing area of the large public bath. *Straws are provided as plastic ones instead of paper straws.* As it is a new hotel, everything inside is clean and security measures are excellent. If I had one wish, it would be for an on-site coin laundry facility. Also, as mentioned in other reviews, it can be slightly inconvenient without a car due to its location. However, the service more than makes up for this inconvenience; I was extremely satisfied overall! I will definitely stay here again when visiting Fukuoka!

    Recommended for sauna and airplane enthusiasts.

    About breakfast: The breakfast starting at 7 AM had a long queue. Improved arrangement and spacing of food items could enhance the flow, save time, and provide a better sense of personal space. About the bath: Both the sauna room and cold bath were excellent. The availability of small towels was very helpful. Overall, it was clean and well-maintained. About in-room amenities: It would be nice to have one more hand towel available. The tissue paper provided felt just enough for a one-night stay but could be slightly more generous. From the large windows, airplanes were clearly visible. From the observation deck, watching planes pass directly overhead was breathtaking—a perfect Hotel for aviation enthusiasts! I look forward to visiting again someday. Thank you!

    We chose this hotel ...

    We chose this hotel as we planned to visit "Marine World Uminonakamichi" the next day. The tatami Room allowed us to relax and take off our shoes after a full day of walking. The large public bath was spacious and comfortable. On top of that, the complimentary ice pops after bathing lifted our spirits. The drink bar service was also excellent. As mentioned in reviews, breakfast had a wide variety, was delicious, and we enjoyed it leisurely and abundantly. Choosing this place was absolutely the right decision!

    Onsen is amazing, and everyone is kind.

    This is a great choice for families with children. The breakfast is delicious with a wide variety of options, including dishes for kids. The Onsen is also very relaxing. I would love to stay here again when visiting Fukuoka.

    It was comfortable.

    The welcome drinks were excellent and plentiful. The large public bath was spacious and very clean. The ice cream after the bath was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of dishes, and the small bowls made it easy to serve yourself.

    That's unfortunate.

    I was looking forward to staying here as I had read great reviews about this hotel. However, during our stay with two children, we were warned twice about the children's voices and footsteps, which surprised me as it was the first time I experienced such a thing at a hotel. After that, I kept worrying about being warned again and couldn't fully enjoy our stay. Children naturally get excited when traveling and staying at a hotel for the first time. Since this seemed like a family-oriented accommodation, perhaps more attention could have been given to the building's design to accommodate such situations better. While we acknowledge there may be areas for us to reflect on as well, it left us feeling very disappointed, and unfortunately, we do not plan on visiting again.

    Clear view of airpla...

    Clear view of airplanes and the port. It was fine up to Chihaya Station, but the taxi cost 1,500 yen. The bus from the Hotel ran every hour. The Hotel felt somewhat isolated.

    It was great to relax and unwind.

    It was a trip for five people: my friend, their grandchild, myself, and my two grandchildren. We had to find accommodation on short notice and came across this hotel. Since we mentioned that the trip was to celebrate our grandchildren's graduation and school entrance, the thoughtful congratulatory messages made us very happy. The grandchildren were delighted as well. Additionally, the room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable.

    Thank you for your hospitality the other day. Since it was a trip using public transportation, I thought the distance from Hakata Station might be a drawback, but choosing this property was the right decision. The room was clean, the large bath was pleasant, and the breakfast was very satisfying. The convenience of being able to move around the property in room wear was also very nice. It added further satisfaction to our sightseeing trip. If there is another opportunity, I would like to use it again. Thank you very much.

    Various disappointments...

    Even if you have already informed us of your child's age, children's indoor wear is not prepared in advance. Adult-sized items are provided. In such cases, it is usual to be asked for the size and have it prepared, but here, it is not brought unless requested. Even after requesting the day before, adult-sized indoor wear was placed again the next day. I requested again, but was told that there were no sizes available that day. This is the first time I've experienced such service after spending over 200,000 yen for a two-night stay. The shower in the private bath is the type that turns off after a certain time, which was also very inconvenient to use. The cleaning of the bathtub in the room was not thorough, and I had to clean it again before using it. The surrounding area is a reclaimed land and warehouse district, so the view is not particularly good, and it was difficult to catch a taxi. The breakfast was delicious, but I also wanted a corner where they make items on the spot (like omelets).

    We used it for the first time as a family of four. We stayed for two nights with four adults, but the room was not cramped, and we were able to spend our time comfortably and leisurely in a clean environment. We were very satisfied with the large public bath and breakfast, and we would like to use it again in the summer.

    There were many disappointments because the expectations were high.

    We used the Resort Hotel for a family trip for 2 nights and 3 days. We made a reservation for 2 adults and 3 children, but there was no service to carry our luggage. Despite being advertised as a family resort hotel, it felt like there was a lack of detailed services. For example, in the room's washroom, there was no platform, so the second child had to be held up each time to wash their hands. Regarding children's room wear, there was no explanation at check-in, and the paper handed to us only had a small note saying, "Children's room wear is limited, so please contact the front desk." If you don't read it carefully or notice other children wearing it, you might not even recognize the service's existence. A little guidance at check-in would have been nice. The meals were buffet-style, but the variety was limited, and the taste was not delicious, making us regret applying for meals at the hotel for both nights. There was no detailed service for children in the dining area either, such as carts that could stably carry children's portions. Moreover, the layout of the dining area was poor, with a large partition in the middle, making the passage narrow, and guests had to be considerate of each other while moving around. Additionally, there was a staff member who clearly made a show of being busy, giving strong instructions to other staff members, which was visible to guests. As a professional in customer service, such scenes should not be shown to guests. It seemed like the surrounding staff were also fed up, making it feel like a difficult place to work. Breakfast felt more fulfilling than dinner. The bath was clean, but the sauna was not very good. The reason is that the electric stove in the sauna room was either on a timer or had a lower temperature limit, making the room temperature unstable. When I thought it was close to 100 degrees, it didn't warm up at all, and the temperature dropped below 90 degrees, not warming up at all. It might work if you enter according to the timing of the electric stove. Overall, honestly, I don't feel like I want to stay again. There may be policies, events, and ways of customer service that should be done as a family-oriented hotel, but they are not being implemented on-site, giving off a vibe of "doing it because it has to be done," making me feel like it would be better not to do it at all in many cases (such as commemorative photos in the dining area or children's Christmas events?).

    Family-friendly

    We stayed with children, and the room was Japanese modern with tatami mats, so even small children could stay comfortably. It was clean, and I thought the cleaning was thorough. I was looking forward to the meals, but I was disappointed that the dinner buffet was all cold. The breakfast was satisfying and delicious. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay.     It was excellent.

    Stayed in a Sky Floor room. L'Occitane amenities can be taken home, and there are complimentary drinks in the refrigerator, which provided a great sense of satisfaction. I would definitely like to use it again.

    As soon as you enter the entrance, there is a small children's play area with a large screen, which was a delightful Facility for those with children! Also, when I informed them in advance that we would be using the Facility for my daughter's birthday, they prepared a lovely letter and cute cookies for us! I was very pleased with their thoughtfulness! Thank you very much. The breakfast had a wide variety and everything was beautiful and delicious! The Room was also clean and well-maintained, but it was a pity that the stain on the wall next to the washbasin was not removed. Both the front desk staff and the breakfast staff were all polite and pleasant. I would like to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka!

    Check-out at 11:00 allows for relaxation.

    This is my third stay here. This time, I used it for a girls' night with my best friend, bringing hors d'oeuvres and wine. We had a very relaxing time. Since it was a plan with breakfast, the next morning we were full with fresh sashimi and various delicacies arranged in masu, and couldn't eat lunch that day. There were many young mothers with children during the bath, and the spa was a bit like a nursery, which made me realize it's popular among the younger crowd. On the way back, we took a walk around Island Eye, which was a nice change of pace, and my friend was happy too. It's a hotel that is fun no matter how many times you visit, and I love it.
