    A Relaxing Space

    As it was the 5th anniversary, the Accommodation was very clean and offered a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The women’s bath had a ReFa shower head, which felt wonderful. There was also a sauna. We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast. There were Fukuoka-style dishes (mentaiko, gameni, and motsunabe-style hot pot). The children were happy with the wide variety of breads. Many guests were also enjoying crab. The seafood hitsumabushi at breakfast was a hit with our family. We would like to stay again.

    It was a very nice Hotel.

    Although it was a little far from the city center, the service, Room size, large public bath, and meals were all perfect. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again when I visit Fukuoka.

    Summer Vacation Trip

    Our family of four visited Fukuoka for the first time. Since it was a 2-night, 3-day trip, we booked a Multiple Night Stay, and it was a wonderful Hotel. The room was kept very clean, and we only added breakfast, but there was a wide variety of options and everything was delicious. With the side dishes changing daily, we couldn’t decide what to eat on either day. The private bath was also spacious and relaxing, making our trip even more enjoyable. This is a Hotel we would love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

    It was my daughter’s...

    It was my daughter’s first overnight stay, and seeing her eyes sparkle with excitement made it a wonderful memory for me as well. The amenities were well stocked, and the Room was clean and comfortable. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, so we had a relaxing stay. We stayed with No Meals Included this time, but it was still more than satisfying. My daughter had a great time too, so I’m glad we chose this place for her first overnight stay. We’re considering staying again—she’d like to use the Onsen, and we’d love to stay in the princess-themed Room she mentioned.

    I had been looking for a Hotel for months, and I chose SORA because I really cared about cleanliness and the quality of the meals. During the sale period, I was able to stay at an unbelievably low price and booked a Multiple Night Stay for two nights. The bath also came with a sauna. There was ice cream after the bath as well, and I enjoyed it every day while cooling off on the balcony. The breakfast I had been looking forward to had a wide variety of options and was very delicious. Kyushu specialties were also included, and the seafood section had a satisfying selection. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Fukuoka.

    The breakfast was great, just as the Review said!

    Overall, everything was great except that the location is a bit far from the city center. The bath was also great! This time I wasn’t traveling with her, but if I were to travel with my grandmother, I’d be a little concerned that the bath floor material is slippery. Since this Hotel has many small children as guests, it might be worth considering some improvements. Also, thank you for arranging Rooms next to our friends’ couple’s Room, but… Even though we confirmed it multiple times, it was very disappointing that our stored luggage was mixed up. Other than that, everything was great!

    It was clean, but…

    Despite being advertised as “SORA,” the view did not seem particularly good. Also, this Hotel felt geared toward families with small children, so for a middle-aged couple traveling together, staying in central Fukuoka might have been a better choice. There were not many places to eat nearby, and in the end we had to go all the way to Hakata for meals.

    Beyond expectations—absolutely delighted!

    This time, we stayed as a group of 10 on the No Meals Included Plan. It was a little away from central Fukuoka (Hakata), but the Hotel had a large public bath, sauna, and massage chairs. Card keys were required at the entrance, elevators, baths, and each Room, so security felt excellent. We were surprised to hear the Hotel has only been open for five years—it still feels very new. The other nine people with me also had a great impression. We are truly grateful.

    A very good Hotel, but there are few restaurants nearby.

    As the title suggests, the Hotel itself is a very satisfying Facility. The Chinese tourists staying on my night were relatively quiet, and the Room’s soundproofing was excellent—you could only hear voices from Chinese tourists gathering in other Rooms if you stepped out into the hallway. However, although I stayed here knowing the location in advance, there were no nearby restaurants to choose from. If you take a walk to around Kashii, you will have some options. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of items and was very satisfying. I look forward to future development of the area.

    They were very kind ...

    They were very kind in our email exchanges before the stay, and during our stay everything was as requested, which was great. However, after checking out I realized I had left something behind and called the Hotel. They mailed it to me cash on delivery, but the phone communication was a mess—they said it was “pants” even though I had left an outerwear item, and they told me it would arrive the day after tomorrow but it arrived the next day... Since it was cash on delivery, I needed to be at home to receive it. Also, if they noticed the lost item during cleaning, I wish they had contacted me via the email thread we had been using (other hotels do). And when sending my outerwear item back, they could have included my other lost items as well. It felt very inconsiderate. I had such a fun trip, so this was really disappointing. I thought we would stay again next time, but probably not anymore. While I’m at it, here are a few other things that stood out: The dinner buffet wasn’t very good. The meat was tough, and 90 minutes isn’t enough to eat calmly with children. Please consider families with kids—I don’t want to pay 5,000 yen just to rush through a meal. I also noticed dust in the Room—especially in the toilet and wash area. There was a lot of dust built up around the edges, and it made me wonder how long it had been since those areas were cleaned properly. With small children who touch everything and put things in their mouths, I want dust to be cleaned thoroughly. The way this was handled after checkout quickly turned what should have been a pleasant trip into an unpleasant one. Very disappointing.

    A Fun Trip for Five Close Classmates

    It was a new, stylish Hotel. The Room was also comfortable and easy to relax in. The buffet-style dinner and breakfast used quality ingredients with a wide variety of dishes—very satisfying! I especially loved the morning croissants and an-butter croissants; they were as delicious as bakery-quality. The Shuttle Service from the nearest Chihaya Station to the Hotel was very helpful. It’s a Hotel I’d definitely like to visit next time with my family.

    This was my second stay.

    Both our first and second stays were extremely satisfying. I highly recommend this Hotel for families traveling with children. Since our child is not yet potty-trained, we did not use the large public bath, so I rated the bath a neutral 3.

    I keep coming back.

    I have stayed here more than 10 times. Although I considered choosing the cheaper Room at Umi since it's just for sleeping, the Room at Sora is indeed clean and relaxing. The cleaning is thorough, making it a pleasant stay. I will be back again.

    Good Hotel

    This was my second stay, and it was another great experience. Unlike many hotels that reduce costs under the name of SDGs by removing in-room amenities or providing only one towel even in a double Room when staying alone, this Hotel ensures everything is well-prepared. Although it's a bit far from Hakata, I plan to stay here again when I visit Fukuoka.

    Clean and comfortable

    I stayed for about two weeks at Umi and Sora to help out after my grandchild was born. The Room at Sora this time was clean, well-equipped with amenities, and very comfortable. Although I only used it for sleeping, I could relax and take care of my grandchild and family. The free parking was also a great convenience. I plan to visit regularly next year to help out again, so I will stay here again.

    A Satisfying Stay

    I found this Hotel with a large public bath at an affordable price and decided to give it a try. The spacious public bath, open-air bath, and sauna were great, and I ended up using them three times because I liked them so much. The breakfast met my expectations, especially the delicious seafood hitsumabushi. For those looking to enjoy nightlife, the area might not be ideal as there’s nothing much around. However, I wouldn’t mind staying here for one night again when visiting Hakata. The shuttle service driver from Chihaya Station and all the Hotel staff were very pleasant.

    Suitable for young families and students

    I stayed for one night as I was interested in the development area. Nearby, there are stacked containers, a large gymnasium, a wholesale market, and mainly logistics facilities like warehouses. However, right next to it are luxury apartments, making it seem like a bedroom community as well. The front desk staff and breakfast staff were all kind and courteous, making my stay pleasant. The Room is modern with plenty of outlets conveniently located throughout. However, since the lighting is primarily downlights, it can be slightly difficult to see things clearly—be careful not to forget anything. What disappointed me was the public bath; perhaps due to many young users, hair was left behind in various places. I had to start by picking up hair from the spots I wanted to use before cleaning them myself. Whether it's an issue of manners or not, there might need to be signs reminding guests to clean up after themselves so that others can enjoy using the facilities comfortably afterward.

    Great value for money.

    The experience exceeded expectations for the price. It is a great location for visiting the aquarium or Shikanoshima. However, as there are many small children, it may not be recommended if that is a concern. The Facility is spacious, so adjusting meal times or locations can make your stay more comfortable.

    It was excellent.

    I reserved a Sky Suite room for my wife's birthday. The room was spacious, clean, and the hotel was truly excellent. Having separate bath and toilet facilities was convenient, and the large public bath added to the experience. Breakfast featured plenty of seafood options, all of which were delicious. During check-out, please note that the front desk is on the 11th floor, so elevators can get crowded with people going up to the 11th floor or down to the 1st floor. Be mindful of this when managing your time. This is a wonderful hotel that made our trip memorable. If visiting Fukuoka again, I would definitely stay at 358SORA. Highly recommended!

    The room and bath were somewhat satisfactory, but the meals, both breakfast and dinner, were disappointing. The food was completely different from what I saw in a YouTuber's video before, which was truly surprising. Was the YouTuber's content sponsored? I was disappointed by the limited variety of dishes. Why does this place have relatively good reviews? I honestly don't understand. I will never visit again.

    The Room was very clean, bright, and pleasant.

    The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was delicious. This was my second visit, and the male staff member who kindly assisted with a smile during check-in left a truly positive impression. However, I was concerned about children running in the hallway late at night. This is not an issue with the Hotel but rather something that parents should address responsibly. Thank you for your hospitality. I would love to visit again!

    Second Stay at 358 SORA

    Compared to the wonderful impression during our first stay, this experience had a few discomforts. Since the room was a Japanese-style structure, we could hear loud thumping noises from footsteps in the neighboring rooms and upstairs even at 2 AM. Fortunately, our children were tired and slept soundly, so it didn’t affect us significantly, but we hope such soundproofing issues will be improved in the future. Another unexpected issue was that when we set the air conditioner to 25 degrees Celsius, warm air came out. It’s unclear whether this was due to an issue with the system or if it’s designed that way; adding an explanation would be helpful. However, the hotel’s onsen, complimentary ice cream after bathing, and drinks provided in the lobby were excellent. The view was also incredibly beautiful. We are especially grateful to the hotel staff who retrieved our forgotten belongings from the first floor for us. Overall, I still recommend this hotel!

    This is my second stay.

    A stylish, clean, and modern Hotel. The buffet on the first floor offers a wide variety of dishes and is very delicious. The Room and bathroom are clean, with thoughtful touches throughout. The Deluxe Twin Room has a separate bath and toilet, which is excellent. All the staff were very pleasant. I plan to visit again in March next year, so I look forward to staying with you!

    This was my second stay.

    A review from a junior high school second-year student: They enjoyed the Yogibo, manga (after a bath), and pillow. The breakfast-included plan was the right choice. This is unrelated to the accommodation, but perhaps more grass cutting could be done around Island City. While Fukuoka Prefecture? seemed to be maintaining the area near Uminonakamichi, the central median and sidewalks near Island Eye were overgrown with grass.

    First Stay for a Birthday Trip

    We visited this accommodation for a birthday trip, as it had been on our list for a while. After carefully reading the reviews, we decided to book, but personally, I wouldn’t return. **Positive Points:** - Great for sauna enthusiasts. - Clean facilities with multiple opportunities to enjoy the sauna. - Outdoor relaxation space (3 chairs). - Sauna temperature was close to 90°C, which was excellent. **Areas for Improvement:** The dining experience left much to be desired. We booked for two adults with dinner and breakfast included. Upon arrival at the dining area, we were assigned seats without any consultation: some tables near the entrance were semi-private and calm; however, we were seated in a large banquet-style hall past the buffet area on an elevated section alongside families with small children and large groups—far too noisy and not relaxing at all. When I immediately asked a male staff member if our seats could be changed, he replied that they were fully booked (though there seemed to be empty tables near the entrance). Reluctantly staying in that seat made it difficult to enjoy our meal due to constant noise; as someone who isn’t comfortable around children in such settings, this arrangement was disappointing. The next morning’s breakfast situation mirrored dinner's issues: when checking with a female receptionist about seating arrangements beforehand, she mentioned seating would be based on arrival order. However, upon reaching the venue early in the morning and speaking with what appeared to be a manager-like figure about available seats or waiting options if necessary—he initially said they’d call us via room phone once something opened up but then quickly corrected himself saying there’s availability now... only leading us back into another noisy banquet hall setting again! Unable anymore tolerate discomfort caused by surroundings during meals—I politely requested elderly female staff nearby whether waiting longer instead switching toward quieter middle/front sections possible? Her response shocked everyone present loudly exclaiming “We don’t do calls here!” before realizing misunderstanding apologizing afterward moving us forward empty table areas finally resolving issue albeit leaving sour taste overall impression handling customer concerns professionally manner expected price-point charged ¥50k/night felt unjustified compared typical Business Hotel costing ¥10k range better suited expectations value-for-money ratio disappointing ultimately memorable reasons wrong ones unfortunately no photos taken entire stay reflecting sentiment hope future improvements focus creating balanced atmosphere guests seeking peaceful celebratory occasions alike!

    The place was very clean, and the free services were excellent. I used it last year and again this year, and I want to come back next year too. It’s a bit disappointing that the rooms are limited for 5 people in one room. The buffet was delicious and satisfying.
