    Family Travel

    Close to the airport and conveniently located for sightseeing in various directions. I used to worry about traffic jams on the way to the airport on departure day, but staying at this Hotel gives peace of mind. Additionally, traveling with children, having a nearby pediatric clinic was one of the reasons we chose this Hotel. This time, we used the club lounge, which stays open relatively late. After putting our child to bed, my spouse and I took turns enjoying drinks at the lounge. Since having a child, we rarely had opportunities to enjoy cocktails, so it was a delightful experience. The bartender listened to our preferences and created custom drinks for us. Having followed the Hotel's Instagram account beforehand, I requested one of their beautifully featured cocktails. The Room's bathroom included a washing area that made bathing our child much easier. There is also a public bath available; after putting our child to sleep, we could relax there without worrying about noise. The public bath was well-maintained with clean towels provided. I rated customer service three stars because there were some disappointing moments at the buffet restaurant—such as staff coughing frequently near food or appearing unfriendly in their interactions. Additionally, upon checking into our Room and using the toilet immediately after arrival, I found stains left by previous guests on the seat that required cleaning with hand soap and paper before use. Other than these issues, it was an enjoyable stay at this wonderful Hotel overall! We would love to visit again in the future!

    2 nights with lounge access

    The lounge offers a great view and serves a variety of alcoholic beverages starting from the morning, along with delicious breakfast bread and fruits. In the evening, you can enjoy sparkling wine and meals for about two hours starting at 5 PM, followed by a refreshing time in the pool and sauna. Afterward, you can return to the lounge to enjoy beer, cocktails, sparkling wine, and more—leaving you completely satisfied. If I had to mention one thing, there were many sweet alcoholic options overall; it would be nice to have more dry options available. For those who love drinking, this is paradise! It's rare to find a lounge where alcohol is available all day long. I would definitely visit again when traveling to Okinawa!

    Blissful Moments

    This was our second visit to Okinawa and a return stay at your hotel. Both times, we stayed for two nights on the club floor. Check-in at the club lounge is relaxing, with welcome drinks provided. Separate seating with welcome drinks was also arranged for my two daughters, allowing them to enjoy desserts while admiring the Okinawan sea view as they waited—this was a lovely touch. The guest room felt similar to our previous stay and was spacious enough for three people to relax comfortably. The lanai was also generously sized. We had most of our meals—breakfast, lunch, and dinner—in the lounge. While there were no rice dishes available, it was more than sufficient for three women dining together. Personally, I think having warm soup would be a nice addition. The facilities are excellent, including an infinity pool, mist sauna, dry sauna, stone spa (ganbanyoku), and gym. The sunset view from the poolside is breathtaking. It truly felt like blissful moments that made us glad we came to Okinawa. Check-out can also be done leisurely in the lounge. This is an exceptional hotel where families can relax together at their own pace. Additionally, I accidentally left something behind at the hotel but received kind assistance in retrieving it safely—thank you so much for your thoughtful support despite causing inconvenience. When visiting Okinawa again in the future, we will definitely choose your hotel once more—it’s a favorite of my two daughters as well!

    Stay for a Birthday Celebration

    We were very satisfied with the newly renovated and clean rooms, as well as the lounge offering a stunning ocean view. The access to Naha Airport was convenient, and taxis were easily arranged. Unfortunately, it rained during both days of our stay, so we hope to visit again when the weather is nice. The flowers in the lobby were also beautiful!

    One-Night Getaway

    The day before the rainy season began, I was able to swim in the pool. This time, I stayed in the Club Lounge and spent most of my time there. Without leaving the Hotel, I enjoyed using the pool and large public bath. The lounge offered light meals, but it also had a great selection of cakes and drinks that were delicious. The breakfast on the first floor featured many dishes made with Okinawa's local specialties, which were both tasty and satisfying. Next time, I plan to stay for 2 or 3 nights. The staff provided attentive service, allowing me to have a wonderful staycation experience. Thank you very much!

    Next Reservation

    It's very convenient being just 30 minutes from Naha. I love the view from the lounge, overlooking the yacht harbor, horizon, and passing ships—it makes me lose track of time. I enjoyed the extraordinary experience of observing the tides. The stone sauna was also relaxing. The restaurant offers à la carte options, and the cake was delicious. However, when I tried to leave the lounge at 6 PM for dinner and was told "Good night," it was a bit disappointing. Still, I immediately made my next reservation!

    The price was slightly higher due to the timing of the professional baseball camp, but the facility and breakfast were very satisfying. The breakfast, in particular, provided a strong sense of Okinawa and had a high level of satisfaction. I would like to use it again if I have another opportunity.

    Family Trip

    We upgraded to the Club Floor on the day and enjoyed access to the lounge and the 14th-floor pool exclusively for Club Floor guests. Watching the sunset while enjoying light snacks and drinks at the Club Lounge was truly moving. The room was compact, well-organized, and clean. It was a perfect stay.

    A Pleasant Hotel

    The Room (bathroom, toilet...), pool, etc., were still very new and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and kind with smiles. Although there were notices posted, the limited number of coin laundry machines was inconvenient. Since this area has many international visitors, it would be great if this could be improved in the future.

    Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan

    I stayed for two nights in the Club Twin Room at Okinawa Prince Hotel Ocean View Ginowan. Both the lounge and the room had an ocean view, making my stay very pleasant. If you don't need a hearty breakfast, the lounge should be sufficient as it offers a wide variety of drinks. During bar time from 7:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M., a bartender prepares cocktails for guests. When I ordered a Blue Hawaii without checking the menu, they kindly made a similar version despite not having all the ingredients for the original recipe. Thank you—it was delicious (apologies for not checking the menu). This is definitely a hotel I would like to stay at again!

    Always Clean and Tidy

    The beautiful sunset from the lounge was a daily highlight. The Room cleaning was always completed on time, which I truly appreciated. I had a relaxing and leisurely stay. The pool water was warm, the beer from the server was perfectly chilled, and I loved how quiet the lounge was. Being able to enjoy my time without waiting in lines or queues made it even better. The Hotel staff were kind and welcoming, and I would love to stay here again.

    I have to say that the level of customer service is very low.

    (1) Upon arrival at the Hotel, as I got out of the taxi and entered the entrance, a male staff member (presumably a doorman) said, "We will take care of your luggage." A female staff member (presumably a bellboy) was nearby. I handed over my suitcase here. After walking about 5 meters, I proceeded to check in at the front desk. When I turned around after checking in, normally the bellboy would be standing by with my luggage here, but there was no one. Looking into the distance, my suitcase was left unattended near the entrance. There was no one nearby. Would they take responsibility if it got lost? I retrieved my suitcase and headed to my Room. No staff came by. There is no problem with carrying my own suitcase itself, but what was that statement about "taking care of it"? (2) At breakfast time, when visiting the restaurant for breakfast, there was only one male staff member at the register counter at the entrance looking into a laptop without any greeting. Is he not an usher? As I approached him from this side, he pointed to an IC card receiver and said "Here you go." When asked "What is this?" he replied irritably "Please hold up your Room key." It's not something you would know unless told on your first visit (I understood on the morning of my second night). Even after that there were no explanations from him; he handed over a “During Meal” sign silently. When asked if seating is free choice he replied irritably “It’s free.” Is this person bothered by welcoming guests? This happened upon arrival and during our first morning here; although we stayed multiple nights afterward since such an experience marked our start everything felt dull throughout. Of course some high-quality employees were present too especially cleaning staff who greeted proactively maintaining proper demeanor. However service levels at two crucial points representing “the face” of any Hotel - doorman & restaurant entrance - were unfortunately lowest possible. This isn’t exactly cheap accommodation either; such quality doesn’t match pricing rather leaves customers feeling shortchanged emotionally speaking.

    Perfect!

    I was satisfied with everything. I was very pleased with the usability of the Room. I was able to relax in a well-designed Room. The comfort of the bathrobe was also excellent. The meals in the lounge were delicious, and there was a good variety of drinks, and I appreciate the natural attentiveness of all the staff. Thank you very much.

    I will repeat!

    This time, I stayed for 2 nights and 3 days. As per the reviews, the property had a very pleasant fragrance throughout, and I was able to enjoy my stay in a very good mood. The lounge was also very comfortable, and the food and desserts were delicious. All the staff were kind and cheerful, and Assistant Manager ○○ (Fukushihainin) was courteous and took many photos for us. I made some wonderful memories. Thank you very much! With facilities like a pool, rock bath, mist sauna, large public bath, gym all available, and a large supermarket within walking distance - the location is perfect! Next time I plan to stay longer.

    About the Club Floor

    Revisit. This time, I stayed with the Club Floor Dinner and Breakfast Included Plan. The services at UMIKAJI on the 14th floor were comprehensive for each time slot, and I thought it was ideal for those who enjoy alcohol. However, in terms of meals, it felt a bit off (of course, depending on how each person uses it), and adding dinner and breakfast seemed excessive while not including them felt insufficient. As a Facility, the pool, spa, sauna, stone bath, and large public bath are well-equipped so you can fully enjoy yourself within the Hotel. Especially this time as we were blessed with less favorable weather on our stay day resulting in spending more time inside the Hotel; thus having these Facilities was appreciated and satisfying. Regarding meals compared to an absolute evaluation rather than comparing to Hotels stayed at during previous two nights thought "ordinary," hence dared to evaluate this way. Next time when staying here considering cost performance too might consider "Club Floor without Meals" or not using Club Floor but opting for "Dinner & Breakfast Included" Plan though probably would choose latter option.

    The accommodation cost is quite high, but...

    It was my first stay, but the room was very satisfying for the children as well. The arrangement of the sofa made it difficult to watch TV, but it was a very nice room. The staff and service were also good. There is a hairdryer in the large public bath, but there was no comb, so it would be more helpful if it was provided. I chose a plan with dinner and breakfast, but the taste was neither good nor bad. However, the menu hardly changed over the two days. It might be tough for those staying with a multiple night stay plan with dinner and breakfast.

    The service is excellent and the Room is lovely.

    The Room was new and clean. The Room had a Karimoku reclining chair, which made it relaxing! The Hotel staff were all kind and courteous. I stayed for 4 nights, but it was such a good Hotel that I wanted to stay longer.

    The club lounge is excellent!

    I stayed for two nights. In the club lounge, the light meals offered change depending on the time of day. There is also a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, and you can order cocktails at the bar counter. For one of the two nights, I added a buffet at the hotel, but honestly, I felt that the meals in the club lounge were sufficient. The pool in the club lounge was warm, and I enjoyed it even at the end of the year. I would like to make a reservation at the club lounge again next time!

    Above average but not the best.

    I stayed for three nights on the club floor. The weather was nice, and I was hoping to relax alone, but the infinity pool was noisy with children. Then, a child had an accident in the jacuzzi. I really didn't want to get in after that... The Hotel staff pretended not to hear even though they did. Isn't an age restriction necessary?

    A hotel with a disappointing experience despite the scenic view.

    The high review rating made it all the more disappointing. The views from the club lounge and the attached infinity pool were outstanding, but when diving into the pool, there was a lot of black debris? and the adjacent jacuzzi was noticeably dirty. The lounge had a wide variety of alcohol and you could drink from the morning, but compared to other hotels, the selection of sweets and light meals was overwhelmingly small and mediocre. Especially the afternoon tea sweets were only three types of simple sponge cakes and two types of jelly, and they were exactly the same for three consecutive days. I am not a fan of alcohol and was looking forward to the food, so it was disappointing. Also, the coffee machine was broken and seemed to take about a day to repair, which was the first time I experienced such a hotel lounge. The breakfast selection was quite limited, and among the hotel lounge breakfasts I've had so far, it was by far the most mediocre. If you want to eat properly, you should opt for a breakfast-included plan at the breakfast venue, but I think it's not worth it as the price is already high and it would be even higher. I think this lounge is good for people who like alcohol, but there were people entering the jacuzzi while drinking beer, and there were a lot of people drinking heavily from the morning, which felt unrefined and unpleasant. I chose the top floor club floor for the room, but I could hear children's noise and adults talking from next door, which was unpleasant. When I called the front desk, they seemed to have warned them, and despite the noise, it became completely silent, which was unnatural, making me wonder if they were moved to another good room, but there was no report call from the front desk, and when I asked what happened, they said they hadn't moved rooms, so the truth remained a mystery. Also, it was chilly at night, so when I turned on the heater, it took 5 minutes for warm air to come out, and the smell was too bad to use. I wrote these impressions on the hotel's survey site and sent them, and it said the hotel might contact me, but there was no contact, which was very disappointing. It's understandable because it's a large hotel in Okinawa, but honestly, I felt the clientele wasn't good (there were times when I encountered dozens of Asian group guests in front of the elevator and had to wait in line for a few minutes to get on), the rooms weren't spacious, and the club lounge content was mediocre, yet the pricing was aggressive and high. They probably have a strong stance because of the good views from the lounge and rooms, but even in Okinawa, there are other hotels that are cheaper or have better club lounges, so I can't consider repeating here.

    The windows of the club lounge are dirty.

    I stayed at the club lounge of another hotel the previous night and chose this hotel for the second night. Despite being more expensive than the previous hotel, the club lounge here was very casual. The building is equipped with the latest facilities, but the lounge's free drink space and food space are small. Moreover, the window glass right in front of the table where I was guided during the lounge check-in is very dirty. There are traces of water droplets, dust, and water stains all over the lounge windows. The window glass in the guest rooms is clean, so is there a reason why regular cleaning cannot be done? Is it because the hotel faces the sea, making regular window cleaning difficult? I am curious about the reason. The service was very polite, and everyone was kind and heartwarming. ● The dirtiness of the lounge windows ● Inconvenient changing route for swimwear at the lounge's exclusive pool ● Insufficient alcohol and food in the lounge ※ The alcohol display should be arranged in a more luxurious manner. The cheap layout on a few shelves without a sense of display reduces the luxury feeling. With a large public bath, three pools, a sauna, a stone sauna, a gym, and various good facilities, I hope for more creativity in the soft aspects, smoother routes, and a lounge experience that matches the luxury of the price.

    Both the service and the Facility are excellent at this Hotel.

    The staff were all very kind. When I was taking photos, they offered to take them for me, and everyone was very friendly with smiles. The lounge had a great view and was perfect even in winter because it was heated. The Facility, including the large public bath and sauna with stone bath, was clean and excellent. I will visit again.

    The view is excellent.

    This is my second stay here for a nearby event. The place is still new, so it's clean. Since it's facing the main street, the noise from cars and motorcycles at night can be a bit bothersome. I also wish the shop would stay open a little later. Other than that, no complaints. I will use it again.

    Perfect for an Okinawa stay!

    I stayed for three nights! The Room was very spacious and clean, so I had a comfortable stay. Also, the temperature of the sauna and cold bath was very good. However, it was disappointing that there were no amenities such as lotion and emulsion in the Room.

    I have used this Hotel for two consecutive years, the year before last and last year. The year before last, I went to the front desk upon arrival and was checked in immediately. Last year, unaware of any changes, I went to the front desk again and was directed to the club lounge on the 14th floor for check-in. When I mentioned, "Last year, I checked in on the first floor," I was told that guests on the club floor are invited to enjoy a welcome drink in the lounge while checking in. I thought perhaps the coordination wasn't smooth because it was right after the opening the year before last, and I proceeded with the check-in process pleasantly without overthinking it. Now, this year, I arrived around 1:30 PM for a 2 PM check-in and approached the front desk. I was told, "Your Room is ready, so you can check in," and was checked in at the front desk again. After placing my luggage in the Room, I went to the lounge after 2 PM and saw other guests checking in. I explained the situation to an employee on the floor and mentioned, "It's not good to have differences in customer service." Even though I didn't give my name, a manager came to apologize in the evening, saying, "It was a check-in before 2 PM," and even though I was already drinking alcohol in the lounge, they asked, "Shall we bring you a welcome drink now?" In that case, please mention it at the front desk when checking in at 1:30 PM. If it were me, I would say, "Your Room is ready, so we can guide you there if you prefer, but if you wait in the lobby until 2 PM, you can enjoy a welcome drink in the lounge on the 14th floor while completing the check-in process." Is this being too demanding as a guest? Can a first-class Hotel front desk manage without being able to guide guests this smoothly? Other than that, I was generally satisfied. The reason for the general satisfaction is that the Facility is new and well-equipped. However, last year, thanks to a very lovely female staff member, I had an enjoyable stay (she made various cocktails for me), and it reminded me once again that it's all about the people.

    After all, the Club Lounge

    Check-in at 13:00 and check-out at 13:00 two days later. A 2-night, 3-day trip with a full two-day stay at the Hotel. The club lounge on the 14th floor is open continuously, allowing full use of both tea time and cocktail time. There are several types of sandwiches and cooked dishes (I don't remember their names), and I had both lunch and dinner in the lounge. Since it's Okinawa, of course, Awamori is available. Additionally, wine and beer are available, and from 17:00 to 19:00, you can also order individual cocktails. Through the window, you can see the vast ocean and the infinity pool. When it gets dark, the outdoor Facility is lit up. Although it was mostly cloudy on the day, and the sunset was not great, it was still very relaxing. I used all the indoor and outdoor pools on the 2nd floor, the rock bath next to them, the sauna, the mist sauna, and the ice room. One thing I noticed is that the staff is constantly patrolling. The necessary personnel are in the necessary places. In these times when cost-cutting is loudly advocated, this is something that is not easily done. You can feel the policy of Okinawa Prince Ginowan (Okinawa Purinsu Ginowan). I felt reassured.
