It was an Accommodation that exceeded our expectations.
With little prior knowledge, I made a Reservation for one night on my way back from Kamikochi. I had long been interested in renovated spaces like old sake breweries and post-town buildings, and the cuisine suited my taste far more than expected—making this an Accommodation I’d love to revisit. The team worked with great care and respect for Nagano ingredients. This time I stayed in Room 110 at Ueharaya, but next time I’d definitely like to stay in the main building, Toshiyoshiya, in a room with a semi-open-air bath. I also liked the staff’s friendly service.
