    A cozy Hotel

    The staff were very kind and attentive, which made both me and my beloved dog very happy. The food was delicious, and I wished I could have had a Multiple Night Stay! It was a very comfortable and safe Hotel to stay at. I will definitely use it again! Thank you so much!

    Wonderful Hotel

    All the staff were smiling, and I had a very pleasant stay! I was very satisfied with the variety of facilities, such as outdoor and indoor dog runs, a grooming room, and an oxygen box, all available for free! Thank you so much! The morning lakeside walk was also wonderful!

    Family Trip with Your Dog

    This was our first time staying at this Hotel for a family trip with our dog. It was the best among all the Hotels we have stayed at so far! It was our first experience with a dog-friendly buffet, and it was wonderful! Our little one is a foodie, and being able to enjoy meals together made for such an enjoyable time. Everything was excellent. The dog run was spacious, and our dog had so much fun running around. The Room was clean, and all the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. We also appreciated the drink service and ice cream service. The food was very delicious; however, since we tend to eat a lot as a family, we felt the portions could be slightly larger... but overall, we were very satisfied. Thank you for taking care of us!

    Dogs are not required to be kept in cages, the grooming room is free to use, and the spacious dog run makes it very pet-friendly. The staff were attentive and efficient. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and I was able to relax in the bath. The lobby offers free drinks, including alcohol, along with light snacks, and soft drinks during dinner are also complimentary. While these may all be included in the price, this kind of system feels very pleasant. Highly recommended for those who want a slightly luxurious stay with their dogs!

    It was great.

    It had been a while since we stayed at a pet-friendly Hotel. Despite the unfortunate rain, there was an indoor dog run, and the Room was spacious, allowing us to relax with our beloved dog. Meals could also be enjoyed together with pets, and our dog, who usually stays on the floor at home, seemed very happy. Drinks were available for takeaway, so we didn’t need to bring any from home (laughs). The staff welcomed us warmly with smiles and even remembered our dog's name well, which made both us and our dog very happy. We were fully satisfied overall. However, as a suggestion: since Lake Hamana is famous for eel dishes but pet-friendly restaurants are unavailable nearby, it would be helpful if the Hotel offered a short-term pet-sitting service (even for an additional fee).

    It was a wonderful Hotel.

    This is a pet-friendly Hotel, or rather, it could be called a pet-prioritized Hotel! At the same time, it is also luxurious and welcoming for people. The meals are excellent, and the baths are perfect for relaxing. Above all, I believe this stems from the exceptional service provided by the staff. Truly comfortable!

    Stunning Views of Lake Hamana

    Stayed here on the way back from a trip to Ise. A hotel with stunning views of Lake Hamana and a stylish atmosphere. It was disappointing that the outdoor dog run could only be used until sunset, especially since meal times were limited to 17:30 or 19:00 starts. It would be more practical if it could be used until around 21:00. A carry-around bag for walks within the facility would also be a nice addition. For meals, as lunch times during trips often vary, starting at 17:30 felt a bit too early. Many staff members wore "in training" name tags, and their explanations about meals sometimes felt slightly rigid or interruptive during conversations. The dog meals included goat milk and scales for measuring portions, which was great; however, smaller cuts of food would have been appreciated. The room was spacious with breathtaking views, and the room facilities were excellent. The dog run on a slope seemed like an enjoyable spot for dogs. From Tokyo, it's about 250 kilometers—comparable in travel time to visiting places like Izu Kogen. It seems warm even in winter, so I might consider staying again in another season!

    As per the reviews, it was a wonderful dog-friendly accommodation! The staff were kind, and the meals were visually stunning and delicious. Most importantly, the variety of items at the dog buffet was impressive, and our dog was in high spirits! The room was spacious with an amazing view. If I may add a suggestion, it would be great if we could enjoy the view while sitting on the sofa and if there were a separate toilet for added convenience. We were lucky to stay this time with IKYU's discount!

    Multiple Night Stay with Different Room Types.

    I had always wanted to visit this hotel, and finally, my dream came true as I stayed with my beloved dog! Since I couldn't book the same room for both nights, I reserved the Dog Run Straight room for the first night and Type H for the second. When making the reservation, I asked a few questions in the remarks section and received a kind phone call in response, leaving a great impression even before our stay! Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly greeted with smiles by the staff. All of them remembered not only our dog's name but also those of all other dogs staying there—truly impressive! Our dog was pampered by staff members every time they met and seemed delighted throughout our stay. Fellow guests also adored our dog. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious; since it was a multiple night stay, we enjoyed Japanese-style breakfast on day two (Western-style on day one). The first night's room allowed direct access to the dog run area—very convenient! The second night's suite offered stunning views of Lake Hamana for an elegant experience. Although staff kindly informed us about bathing wear provided for privacy concerns near residential areas, we opted to use only foot baths in the terrace jacuzzi due to feeling slightly self-conscious—but even that was incredibly relaxing! As non-drinkers, what thrilled us most was unlimited Häagen-Dazs ice cream during our stay—I had three servings while my husband enjoyed five. Our family loves traveling and has stayed at many pet-friendly accommodations since our dog was a puppy. Without exaggeration or bias, this hotel is No. 1—for both pets and their owners! While Lake Hamana is quite far from home for us to visit frequently, we will definitely return soon. Next time we'd like to book Type G based on reviews mentioning its better sunset/sunrise views and more private jacuzzi location away from nearby houses.     Hotel with Stunning Views

    Stayed on different days in Suite Room Type H and Type G. The usability of the room was better in Type H, while the view and privacy of the bath were superior in Type G. The biggest highlight of this accommodation is the view of Lake Hamana, which I believe offers one of the best scenic views in Japan, not just among pet-friendly accommodations. The sunset and sunrise from the balcony of Type G were particularly breathtaking. ● Highlights: - View of Lake Hamana: One of Japan's top-level scenic views. Especially moving sunsets and sunrises from Type G's balcony. - Room usability: Type H is user-friendly. - Bath privacy: Well-maintained in Type G. - Cleanliness: Generally high; no noticeable pet hair or odors. - Thoughtful meals: Menus reflect local flavors and seasons, with decent taste. - Staff hospitality: Excellent. ● Areas for Improvement: 1. Jacuzzi Bath: - Both rooms: No chair provided for washing inside the bathroom. - Type G: Long distance from balcony entrance to jacuzzi makes it challenging during colder seasons. - Type H: Visible from nearby houses; a tarp or screen for privacy would be appreciated as it's hard to relax under current conditions. 2. Room cleanliness: - Dog feces found on the edge of a bed in Type H was disappointing. 3. Meals: - Dinner: Stew served lukewarm; tempura was cold. - Breakfast: Out of 7 bread refills, 5 were cold inside. Hot dishes should be served piping hot. Compared to other luxury pet-friendly accommodations within this price range, there is room for improvement regarding meal quality. ● Overall Evaluation: The excellent staff hospitality is a major strength. The stunning views and spacious rooms are unique advantages as well. If meal issues are resolved, I would love to visit every year during different seasons!

    A Wonderful Hotel Prioritizing Dogs

    The staff's hospitality was truly attentive and pleasant, both for people and dogs. Since this is not a large hotel accommodating many guests, the number of rooms ensures a moderate level of occupancy, so we never felt any sense of overcrowding within the accommodation. This contributed significantly to our comfortable stay. The view of Lake Hamana from the large windows in the room was stunning. The facility was clean throughout, with no unpleasant odors at all. The hotel's attached dog run was more spacious than expected, and our dogs happily ran around enjoying themselves. As for meals, we initially thought the portions might be small; however, they turned out to be perfectly satisfying in quantity and high in quality. While middle school-aged children are served the same menu as adults, offering some options or alternative dishes could enhance satisfaction for younger guests. That said, there were no issues from an adult perspective at all. There were a few items among the room amenities that could have been convenient if provided; however overall, we had a very comfortable stay. We hope to continue using this dog-friendly hotel in the future!

    Suite Type H

    The entire hotel is designed for guests with dogs, and all the staff are dog lovers, making our stay very comfortable. However, the jacuzzi on the balcony is visible from nearby houses, so it would be nice to have some kind of screen or partition. It was an accommodation we would love to revisit.

    The suite is truly exceptional.

    For the second and third nights, we stayed in a suite room. The room was spacious with a large bed, providing excellent comfort for a good night's sleep. Although the panoramic bath was not an Onsen, its carbonated jets revitalized my skin and felt amazing. The only concern was the visibility from nearby villas, which made me slightly conscious of others' views. The restaurant is spacious; however, the area for dogs is quite small. Our larger dogs had their meals under the table due to limited space. The meal course included unlimited refills of rice cooked with ingredients and miso soup—both were so delicious that I couldn't resist getting seconds! We used the dog buffet all three nights of our stay. While the selection remained consistent, even our picky eaters enjoyed it every night! Highly recommended for dog owners as there's no need to bring your own food—the quality is excellent and among the best we've experienced at any dog-friendly Hotel so far. For breakfast on our first morning, we had Western-style dishes; however, my husband and I preferred the Japanese-style breakfasts on days two and three. Everything went smoothly in terms of service, and we enjoyed plenty of fresh vegetable salads. There are several nearby facilities catering to guests with dogs—we explored many during our stay! Thanks to recommendations from Hotel staff members, we also visited a local strawberry farm where we indulged in delicious strawberries (and brought home plenty). As a strawberry lover myself—it was such an enjoyable experience! The property features both indoor and outdoor dog runs—a lifesaver for active pets like ours who ran around happily before sleeping soundly at night. Complimentary drinks were available in our suite room—including various alcoholic options—which made post-bath relaxation even better! It was an enjoyable three-day stay overall. Repeat? Done!

    Thank you very much.

    My previous stay was wonderful, so I made a reservation about five months later. During that time, my dog passed away. Since our last trip together was here, I hesitated but decided to bring the ashes with me. I am deeply grateful for the kindness of the staff. I'm truly glad we were able to travel here while my dog was still healthy. During nearly seven years of living with my dog, we went on several trips together. Ending our journey here has brought me great satisfaction. Highly recommended for traveling with dogs.

    Enjoyed to the fullest.

    I stayed here last September and had such a great experience that I decided to visit again in a different season. This time, I stayed for two nights. The staff's warm hospitality and the beauty of the facility were as wonderful as ever. I enjoyed a luxurious and relaxing time savoring ice cream and coffee while admiring the stunning panoramic view of Lake Hamana from my Room or the lobby. This time, we rented a Switch console and had fun playing games with the family—it was surprisingly exciting to do this while traveling! The carefully prepared meals over both days were absolutely delicious. Our beloved dog Ponta had plenty of exercise at both the indoor and outdoor dog runs, leaving him full of smiles! Once again, it became a memorable trip for us. We look forward to staying here again!

    We were able to spend a relaxing time with our family. The fellow guests we passed in the public spaces were also very pleasant, and the staff's service was refreshing and sincere, which left a strong impression. It is thanks to the ingenuity and improvements made by everyone at the Hotel based on their past experiences that our "trip with a dog" was successful this time.

    A Hotel I want to visit again

    It was such a wonderful Property that staying for just one night felt like a waste! The dog run was spacious, and our little one was running around with a big smile the whole time. (They fell fast asleep as soon as we returned to the Room, haha.) There’s also an indoor dog run, so even on rainy days, they can run around to their heart’s content. The meals were delicious, and being able to stay together with our dog was one of the highlights. Taking a walk around Lake Hamana while watching the sunrise was absolutely amazing. The amenities were also well-equipped. The staff were very kind, and next time, we’d love to stay for two nights to relax even more. Thank you for taking care of us!

We were very pleased with the various considerations provided. - The jacuzzi while watching the sunrise was truly amazing. It's a pity it's not an onsen, but it didn't bother us at all. - The meals in the morning and evening were more delicious than we expected. 【Bad Points】 - There was a family in the restaurant who did not discipline at all, and their dog barked endlessly whenever someone passed by. - Given the above situation, I think there was a lack of consideration for others, such as seating us at the farthest table instead of near the entrance in the morning and evening.     A wonderful Hotel to create lasting memories with your beloved dog

    We stayed for one night with my family of four and our Maltipoo, traveling from Tokyo. We made the reservation months in advance with high expectations, and the service and facilities exceeded those expectations, leaving us very satisfied. As we drove up the narrow slope to the entrance, staff were already waiting outside to help carry our luggage to the room. We completed the check-in process on a large sofa while enjoying some tea, and upon entering the room, we were very pleased with the wonderful view and the quality of the room facilities. One minor concern was that although we booked a large room for four people, two of us had to sleep on extra beds, which were not very comfortable. Well, I guess that's on par with a regular hotel. The dog run was grassy and sloped, which was very comfortable for our beloved dog, who ran around happily. Lake Hamana was also nearby, and we took our dog there twice, at night and in the morning. There were some concerning comments about the dinner course, which made us a bit anxious, but it was as delicious as expected. We enjoyed it with the recommended sparkling rosé wine. Such meals go well with wine. We also had a buffet for our dog. Time flew by as we enjoyed ourselves with the family, and we ended up staying longer than planned, having dessert in a different location. By the way, you can have refills of the mixed rice and soup. As for the bath, it didn't have any standout features, but the view was nice, the size was just right, and it was very well-maintained, allowing us to relax. We enjoyed the bath twice, in the morning and at night. After the bath, you can have a complimentary drink in the lobby if it's a light alcoholic beverage. There were also local mandarin chu-hi and beer in the room's refrigerator, so we enjoyed a second round. Breakfast included a salad and drinks buffet, while the rest was brought to our table. The combination of beef stew, bread, and local butter was excellent, and we were quite full. It seems you can have refills of the bread. We had booked a late checkout, but time flew by quickly, and it was soon time to leave. Thank you for providing such excellent service.

    I was able to slowly...

    I was able to slowly enjoy the changing views of the lake and sky through the window all day long. The spacious Room was unified in a calming gray with non-slip floors and stain-resistant sofas for dogs, and I was impressed by the closet for dogs with hangers for dog clothes. The sound of dogs barking outside echoed, but since the number of Rooms is limited and there are fewer guests, it didn't bother me much. The stairs to the lake were steep, but I enjoyed that too. The staff remembered and called my dog's name, which made my dog very happy. Above all, I was highly satisfied because I could enjoy delicious course meals with my dog (more than Room service or barbecues, which are common elsewhere). When I drove down the narrow road, I felt a bit anxious, but I hope it retains its hidden retreat-like feel. Away from the TV and smartphone, I was able to enjoy nature. Although I only stayed for one day, I felt a great sense of fulfillment. It was far from Saitama, but I would love to visit again.

    I want to visit again.

    I am still not used to operating on a tablet, and I couldn't use the oxygen capsule or dog shampoo, so I would like to visit again. I had a great time. It's a good Hotel.

    Looking forward to enjoying delicious cuisine.

    This is my third time using this service. I am always very satisfied. (I deducted one star because I haven't used the large public bath.) Both the outdoor and indoor dog runs are spacious, and my dog enjoys playing freely. The staff kindly interacted with us, which made us very happy. For humans, the highlight is the food. The meals are always creatively prepared and delicious. For my dog, who is fed homemade meals, the buffet-style option to choose what is needed is very convenient. I would love to use this service again.

    Used again this year following last year.

    Reunited by chance with a dog you played with last year in the vast dog run where you can run around to your heart's content, and it seems like you both remembered each other, leading to a playful interaction. Also, you love the waterfront of Lake Hamana. The only place where even large dogs can move freely inside the building. The room is clean and stylish, the food is delicious, and it's a property that satisfies humans as well.

    As rumored, this is a top-quality property where you can stay with your pet. I would love to stay again. Good Points: There is a spacious and well-maintained outdoor dog run, an indoor dog run usable even in bad weather, water for peeing, trash cans for waste, a kitchen for dog meals, and various other thoughtful touches from both the dog's and owner's perspectives. Drinks and Haagen-Dazs ice cream are free, and they don't resort to petty tactics to profit from drinks. (The coffee is delicious) The meals are more delicious than expected. The bath and room interiors are new and well-cleaned. There is a dog closet on top of the shoe rack. Points of Concern: The lighting in the room's hallway is bluish-white, like a company dormitory (perhaps because it's easier to spot dirt). The water in the large bath's tub is a bit lukewarm. The creaking of the room's floor. No door between the room and the entrance.
