    Mostly satisfied.

    We stayed in the Deluxe Twin Sky View room for three people to celebrate a family birthday. Despite it being our first visit, we were provided with a room on the 4th floor with a great view. The spacious room comfortably accommodated three people, and we enjoyed the Onsen as well. The hospitality of the staff was evident in various moments, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay—thank you. However, there was one disappointing experience. During dinner at the French restaurant on the first floor, a group of foreign guests caused disturbances for over an hour. Although this restaurant prohibits children under 10 years old and has a dress code to maintain a calm atmosphere, these guests were standing up from their seats, pouring drinks at neighboring tables, and speaking loudly—behavior more suited to large izakayas or banquet halls. It was truly unfortunate that this continued despite attempts to address it in Japanese. While I understand there may have been challenges communicating with non-Japanese-speaking guests, as someone who chose this Hotel and restaurant specifically for its serene dining environment, I found it very disappointing (though I did receive a sincere apology from the staff manager afterward). Other than this incident, we were satisfied with our stay at the Hotel overall. It’s truly regrettable because everything else met expectations. I hope measures will be implemented in the future—for example, limiting group bookings to only the Italian restaurant on the 5th floor or reserving private dining times after 8 PM—to ensure such issues do not occur again.

    Excellent

    I have stayed at various Hotels before, but the Room and meals here were excellent. The staff were friendly yet professional, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay comfortably. I would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Karuizawa. The texture of the bathrobe was amazing, and my husband was also impressed.

    The room was wonderf...

    The room was wonderful. The view from the balcony was great, and the fresh air was pleasant compared to the humid city atmosphere. I enjoyed a glass of complimentary wine at the fire lounge without feeling any heat. The meals were visually delightful and intricately prepared. However, I found the fish a bit too salty for my taste. This time, I checked in late, so next time I plan to check in earlier and try the aromatherapy massage as well.

    Long-Awaited Stay at the Hotel

    We stayed as a family for 2 nights and 3 days at the Hotel we had been wanting to visit. The attentive service exceeded expectations, leaving my parents very satisfied, and the comfort made us wish for a longer stay. Although it was unfortunate that we couldn't enjoy the campfire due to sudden rain, the experience was so pleasant that I would recommend it to friends. We look forward to staying again.

    Always...

    A delightful accommodation that engages all five senses. Escaping the scorching heat of Tokyo, we chose this nature-rich Hiramatsu hotel and were glad we did. Delicious French cuisine, the sound of crackling firewood and the scent of wood in the TAKIBI Lounge, a tea lounge with stunning views, and attentive staff made for a truly relaxing experience. Shuttle service to the station ensured smooth access even during the busy Obon holiday season. A comfortable hotel that makes you want to return again.

    Satisfaction

    The quality is undoubtedly high. While there are some opinions comparing it to other Hiramatsu properties, I fully felt the standard Hiramatsu quality here. Although the Onsen is not from a natural hot spring source, the service was excellent, and both the villa and main building were wonderful. The hospitality towards children was also great, making this a Hotel we will definitely revisit. Thank you very much!

    A luxurious Hotel located on the cool and expansive grounds of the Asama mountain foothills. Both the common areas of the main building and the Rooms are designed with spaciousness and playfulness in mind. The interiors feature abundant use of wood, creating a calm design and color scheme, complemented by stylish contemporary art displayed throughout. Guests can enjoy a high-quality, luxurious, and relaxing stay. While strolling through the property, you can visit the separate Annex building, which houses a spacious reading room and an audio room where you can freely enjoy jazz or classical records—perfect for spending quiet moments. Dinner is served at the top-floor restaurant with a distant view of Yatsugatake as it fades into twilight. After dinner, stepping outside offers an opportunity to enjoy nighttime walks under a sky full of stars or even shooting stars—a luxury unique to this vast mountain foothill property at high altitude. During our stay, we requested to tour some cottages scattered across the grounds. Next time, I would love to bring my grandchildren along for a cottage stay experience. This is truly an exceptional Hotel that provides an ideal environment for those seeking a quiet, luxurious holiday in comfort.

    I made a Reservation for a good Hotel in Karuizawa. I was looking forward to it since the price was high, but I felt that the price and service did not match well. I don't think I'll go again.

    We had a relaxing stay, and the Room was very comfortable. The meals were delicious. The dinner menu was thoughtfully crafted, showcasing the chef's dedication. Breakfast was served in a curated style rather than a buffet, which suited our preferences, but with omelets as the main focus, it felt slightly limited. Considering the relatively high price range, we felt there could be just a bit more value for money. The staff's service was well-considered and conveyed their earnest efforts. Having stayed at various small luxury Hotels before, our first experience at HRAMATHU was great! Next time, we’ll try another HIRAMATHU location!

It was fascinating to learn that this place was created by carving into the mountains, allowing me to experience an extraordinary and tranquil time amidst nature.     A bad ending ruins everything.

    At this accommodation, valet parking is mandatory upon arrival with a private car, regardless of preference. After staying one night and checking out, I found my car brought to the front entrance completely covered in leaf debris resembling caterpillars. I was shocked by the lack of care shown by the accommodation in returning someone’s property in such a condition. While rain from the previous night may have contributed, the sheer amount of leaves stuck to my car made it impossible to drive home as it was. It looked like a vehicle camouflaged for war movies emerging from hiding. Reluctantly, I began removing each piece of debris myself while two staff members nearby simply watched without offering assistance. This left me not only uncomfortable but also angry; however, I chose to leave without saying anything further. Previously, based on a recommendation from an acquaintance, I stayed at another hotel within this chain in Atami and had an excellent experience with its facilities, cuisine, and staff service. Unfortunately, this stay left me with nothing but disappointment and frustration. Since valet parking was not optional nor did I choose where my car would be parked—leaving everything up to the accommodation—I cannot understand why their response seemed indifferent as if such issues were unavoidable. I will never stay at this hotel or any within its chain again.

    The hospitality, meals, and spa were all excellent. We appreciated the personalized attention given to each guest. During meals, the sommelier's explanations about the dishes were very clear, making them even more enjoyable. This is definitely one of the accommodations I would love to visit again.

    Once again, I had a comfortable stay. I stayed in the Villa Suite, and the room cleaning was impeccable. Even though I visited two years ago, both the interior and exterior remain perfectly clean. The housekeepers' work is truly outstanding—thank you so much. Thank you also for replenishing the in-room amenities and snacks. The Italian cuisine was always delicious, allowing me to return to my room fully satisfied. The breakfast course offered an attractive selection of dishes that were visually delightful as well. Thanks to the daily efforts of all staff members, this resort shines brightly. I hope you continue providing relaxing and impressive services in the future. I look forward to staying here again next time! Thank you in advance!

    A Blissful Journey to Savor the Finest French Cuisine

    The French cuisine was excellent. The room was clean, spacious, and the Onsen bath in the room allowed for a relaxing experience. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, we couldn't enjoy marshmallows by the campfire. The shuttle service from the station by taxi was very helpful. As it is a hotel located in the mountains without nearby walking spots, it is ideal for a relaxing stay at the hotel. It would be even better if there were free drink hours for alcohol. The breakfast was also delicious.

    A Highly Satisfying Experience

    It was a spontaneous decision for a change of pace, but it turned out to be an amazing experience. The Room and services were impeccable down to the smallest details, and above all, the meals were outstanding. Utilizing local ingredients with meticulously crafted arrangements, the quality was top-notch, and the portions were just right—our whole family was thoroughly satisfied. This time we enjoyed snowy scenery, but we would love to return in a different season.

    I heard they also serve lunch, so I decided to visit from lunchtime. Since the lunch service was exclusive to guests (as they only accept accommodation guests), I could enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace. I was also guided to my room earlier than expected, which made me feel a bit lucky. While there are several accommodations with spacious rooms and balconies, this was the first time I stayed at one with such an impressive walk-in closet! It was quite moving! The staff's explanation of the room was very thorough as well. When they noticed that my husband brought a newspaper, they asked about his preferred type for the next day. Additionally, when we requested two card keys instead of one (the usual limit), they kindly provided them for us. For dinner, the main dish featured game meat; however, since I'm not fond of it, they graciously offered an alternative dish—thank you for accommodating our preference! Although we didn't make any significant requests, their "never say no" attitude left a great impression on us. It seems like their policy is to meet guest requests as much as possible! Thanks to this approach, we had a very pleasant stay. The dinner itself—a Japanese-style French cuisine?—was absolutely delicious and might have been the best among all accommodations we've visited in the past five years. The staff's hospitality was excellent too. We would love to visit again. P.S.: The roasted marshmallows were surprisingly tasty!

    Relaxing Time

    I have used this place about 10 times, and it is always comfortable. The Room, Onsen, cuisine, and service allow for a relaxing and pleasant time. The Room is very convenient and clean. The Onsen is also well-maintained (though I would be happier if it were free-flowing). The cuisine is visually enjoyable, delicious, and features local ingredients, which I appreciate. Unfortunately, the staff this time was not the usual person I am familiar with. I would like more information about the wine selection and an opportunity to engage in conversation about it. I look forward to visiting again.

    I was looking forward to it, and it turned out to be an excellent Hotel that exceeded my expectations. Of course, the price is reasonable for what you get, and it's worth it. The meals are excellent, but the hospitality, Facility, and views are also wonderful. I recommend spending a relaxing time at the Hotel without doing anything!

    The pinnacle of hospitality

    We stayed in a Deluxe Twin with a forest view with our children. The location and room were excellent, and above all, the high level of service and hospitality spirit of the staff were wonderful. They provided meals that catered to our requests, allowing us to have a very pleasant stay. It was the best service we have experienced among all the hotels we have stayed at so far. We would definitely like to visit again.

    The Best Holiday

    We stayed at "THE HIRAMATSU Karuizawa Miyota" for a Multiple Night Stay, celebrating my daughter's birthday, just like last year. We were greatly soothed by the wonderful space where we could relax and the perfect hospitality of the staff. However, now I'm back to reality and in rehabilitation... (laughs) I was particularly impressed by the staff's service and the comfortable distance they maintained during dinner on the first and second nights. With delicious food and meticulous attention, we were able to have the best birthday. Thank you very much. Since we visited at the same time last year, we were able to enjoy the beautiful winter snow scenery. Next time, I would like to change the season and experience a different way of spending time, as it was a very satisfying experience.

    This is my fourth time staying at a Hiramatsu Hotel, and as always, the meals were delicious, and I was able to relax in a Room with an open-air bath. I have stayed at Hiramatsu Karuizawa twice, but unfortunately, the service this time was not good.

    I stayed in a Hiratsuma Suite room, and it was equipped with a wonderful view, a sense of openness, and design that matched the accommodation fee. In addition to the facility and cuisine, I am deeply grateful for the attentive service of the staff (I used it for a proposal this time).     Thank you for your hospitality. It was my first time using the train, but the Shuttle Service was very smooth and comfortable. The Italian restaurant had great taste, great service, and a great view! It's my favorite restaurant.
