    Thank you.

    The location is very convenient, and the staff were kind and wonderful. The only disappointing point was that there was quite a bit of dust around the ventilation fan in the large public bath. Thank you very much.

    It was comfortable.

    I booked a Premium Twin for a Multiple Night Stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. The only thing I wished for was a bathrobe. Breakfast leaned a bit toward Japanese cuisine, and there was no knife-and-fork set, which was slightly disappointing for me. Since it is rated four-star, I think it would have been nice to have at least table napkins. It has the best location in Kumamoto, and I look forward to further improvements in service.

    Reliable

    When my luggage didn’t arrive on the scheduled day and I was in trouble, the front desk staff kindly supported me by advising on what to do, contacting the courier company, and staying with it until my luggage arrived that morning. Thanks to them, everything worked out in time. I can’t thank them enough.

    This was my first time in Kumamoto, so I searched for a spacious Room in an easy-to-understand location and chose this Hotel. When I arrived, it was located right above the station, and the Room size was more than sufficient. However (as is often the case when visiting somewhere for the first time), I couldn’t find the entrance and ended up walking around the building. The front desk staff and other employees were polite, but some seemed to keep chatting among themselves; I wondered if it was a cultural difference and moved on. The fitness room only had cardio machines, so it was difficult to do strength training by body part. If adding machines is difficult, having dumbbells and a bench would be helpful; I ended up using only the treadmill. The changing area of the large public bath was clean, and it was convenient to have a laundry room next to it. The laundry required cash but there was no change machine, which was disappointing. I had no choice but to buy a drink from a vending machine to get coins, but since I don’t usually drink vending machine beverages, that was a bit inconvenient. Amenities were well stocked, and it was helpful that the TV monitor showed how crowded the large public bath was and whether the laundry machines were in use. However, adjusting the Room temperature was difficult: at this time of year, cooling/dry/fan modes blew air that felt too cold while heating wasn’t available; on auto mode, raising the temperature seemed to switch to heating—overall it made temperature control tricky. Shopping could be done at the station as well as on lower floors of the Hotel building, so dining options and last-minute purchases were easy enough. Overall, this Hotel is very convenient with good service, and I had a comfortable stay. Thank you very much.

    A high-end Hotel directly connected to Kumamoto Station.

    Just outside the Shirakawa Exit of Kumamoto Station. I was able to get there without getting wet in the rain. The service and Hotel atmosphere are high-end, on par with or better than Nikko and ANA. Since I returned after 1:00 a.m., I couldn’t use the large public bath, but it’s a great Facility to have. I will definitely stay again.

    Luxury

    As it was my first stay, the parking area and the route from the parking area to the lobby were a bit difficult to find, but it was a very satisfying Hotel. The Room size was just right, and above all, its cleanliness was what I found most satisfying. It also felt luxurious and made me feel like I was wealthy. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to use again.

The location was convenient and ideal for sightseeing. I would like to stay here again when I visit Kumamoto.

    The best Hotel in Kumamoto

    What a wonderful Hotel right by Kumamoto Station! It made for a truly lovely trip. From the great convenience to the hospitality, cleanliness, and relaxing bath, everything was excellent. We arrived in the rain, and they immediately wiped down our suitcase, which was very helpful. When I visit Kumamoto again, I would definitely like to stay here.

    As always, it’s a high-quality Hotel, but...

    This was a return visit. I considered other places, but my previous impression was so good that I chose this Hotel again. With that in mind, there were a few things that stood out. We arrived early, and the front desk kindly suggested that if we took the same Room type one floor below, we could check in right away. Thanks to that, we were able to settle in quickly. I truly appreciated the gesture, but unfortunately the Room’s condition was disappointing and not what I expected: the roller blind was broken and wouldn’t raise or lower properly; the washroom was far too dark to do makeup; and the lighted magnifying mirror wouldn’t light up and couldn’t be used. Unlike last time, I wanted a light meal and some drinks in the evening, so I asked the front desk about opening hours. They checked for me and also kindly told me that guests receive a discount, so I went to the restaurant. At the entrance I mentioned that I was staying at the Hotel, enjoyed some excellent drinks for a while, and when it came time to pay (I was told payment could be made there), I was charged an amount with no discount applied. Hesitantly, I said that I had been told there would be a discount—at which point I was abruptly asked to show my room key card. Although it did end up being discounted after showing it, it completely sobered me up. I also tried breakfast for the first time, but both ingredients and taste were below average. More than anything else, it felt like a school cafeteria—cramped enough that eating there became unpleasant—and it left me regretting my choice. Regardless of quality issues, I decided then and there that I would never choose meals here again. Overall this stay had many disappointments—but precisely because this is a Hotel I liked enough to choose again, I wanted it to meet expectations. While there were moments of wonderful hospitality, preventable mistakes and issues of attitude can easily push guests away—and that is truly regrettable. In particular, thank you very much to everyone at the front desk for your warm service. You were all quite young staff members as well; your everyday attentiveness and professionalism came through as service worth appreciating. I hope to return to this favorite Hotel again someday—please let me look forward to even more polished first-class service next time.

    With its location right next to the station, it was very convenient to leave our luggage while sightseeing and also at departure. Breakfast was delicious, and every staff member was very pleasant and helpful. They also arranged shipping for us, and it arrived safely. Thank you very much. The large public bath was clean and comfortable as well. I would definitely like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    Great value Hotel

    I stayed here as a solo traveler. The fresh flowers in the elevator hall were beautiful, and I had a comfortable stay in the Room. I would recommend it for women traveling alone. I would definitely like to stay here again.

    This is a Hotel we can recommend, but...

    I have stayed here several times since it opened. I had assumed the guest Rooms started on the 10th floor, so when I got into the elevator I instinctively looked for the 9th-floor button. My Room faced rooftop piping equipment right in front of the window, so I kept the curtains closed the whole time. There is a training room on the same floor, and privacy greenery was placed by its windows, which made me feel it was a shame there was no similar screening in front of my Room. The view from this Hotel’s reception is wonderful and I thought they valued scenery, so this was a bit disappointing. Nowadays there are also bottom-up curtains, and if they could be replaced during renovation, it would hide the piping in front and make it a great Room where you can fully enjoy Kumamoto’s wide sky. As always, it was nice to see beautiful fresh flowers displayed near the elevators, and I think having a phone charging cable by the bed is an attentive service you don’t often find at other hotels. The Hotel staff and service are excellent, and with its convenient location next to the station, this is a Hotel I can recommend with confidence.

    Clean, comfortable, and a place I’d love to stay again and again.

    This was my second stay for a business trip, and both the property and the Room were clean and comfortable. Check-in guidance was smooth, so I could relax with peace of mind and recover from my fatigue. The large public bath with a sauna was spacious, and I personally appreciated that the shower head was a ReFa. Overall, both the Facility and service were highly satisfying, making it ideal for both sightseeing and business stays.

    This is an Accommodation we would definitely like to stay at again on our next trip to Kumamoto with our children.

    We stayed with our 1 year and 10 month old child. From a family-with-kids perspective, it was great that the bathroom had a separate shower and bathtub. Also, it’s conveniently close to the station, and there are places like McDonald’s in the same building as the Hotel, so it was really helpful to be able to shop right away if we needed anything. In addition to the bed, our Room also had a sofa you could sleep on, and the comfort and cleanliness of the room were outstanding. The Hotel also has coin laundry facilities and a large public bath, making for a very comfortable stay. And the staff were truly wonderful—greeting us when we stopped in the lobby and guiding us to our Room with great care. We were very impressed. We’d love to stay again!

    We stayed here for a family trip. It was a very clean and well-maintained Hotel. The front desk staff, the face of the Hotel, were excellent, and their smiles were wonderful. Our Room was a Deluxe Twin Japanese-style on the 12th floor. The raised tatami area was comfortable, and we also appreciated that the bath and toilet were separate. The large public bath was at a comfortable temperature and very clean, so we could relax. Overall, I think it is a very good Hotel, but what disappointed us was the breakfast we had been looking forward to. None of it felt particularly high quality. I can’t say the selection or service was good. Breakfast is very important to me when choosing a Hotel, so it was a bit disappointing because everything else was great.

    Ikinari Dango at the Breakfast Buffet

    This was my second stay, and I used the breakfast buffet for the first time. I really like the convenient access from Kumamoto Station, as well as how comfortable the Room is and the view, and I also appreciate that face towels are provided in the large public bath. I didn’t know that freshly made Ikinari Dango could be ordered at the breakfast buffet featuring a well-balanced selection of Kyushu ingredients, so I was impressed to have it served warm! Since JR Hotel members can check out at 12:00, I would love to stay again on my next trip to Kumamoto.

    The Hotel met my expectations.

    I stayed here on a last-minute trip to Kumamoto. ① The location was excellent and very convenient for sightseeing around the city, including Kumamoto Castle. ② I stayed in a Moderate Double; the compact Room was clean and well maintained, and the bedding was high quality and comfortable. ③ The large public bath was also clean, and it helped me relax after a day of travel. ④ The staff were polite and kind. ⑤ Breakfast is buffet-style, but it felt a bit crowded due to the number of guests. ⑥ Overall, it exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it.

    Attentive service and a clean, comfortable atmosphere

    What impressed me most was the staff’s service with genuine smiles. Their warm words and attentive gaze conveyed a sincere desire to help. The building is also new, which made the rooms and common areas very clean. Everything is well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The subtle cedar fragrance was relaxing. When I visit Kumamoto, I will definitely stay at your Hotel again. Next time, I would like to take a walk in the garden on the 9th floor.

    The Facility is wonderful, but...

    The Room and building are clean and wonderful, but the service and meals did not feel worth the price. You can see the Shinkansen from the Room, which delighted our child. You can hear train noise in the Room, so it may bother some guests. The Room does not have a bathtub, but it doesn’t feel cramped because of that. At breakfast, despite having multiple staff members present, we did not receive attentive service, which was disappointing. Also, there were very few elaborate dishes at breakfast; it has been a long time since we experienced such a disappointing breakfast buffet in both food and service. It’s close to the station and you can easily get to Amu Plaza, so the location is extremely convenient.

    Clean, convenient, and perfect for a relaxing stay.

    I attended a conference at Kumamoto Castle Hall and stayed for two nights alone. The hotel is conveniently located right next to Kumamoto Station, with commercial facilities downstairs and easy access to trams and buses. The staff were all cheerful and welcoming, making my stay very pleasant. The flowers and fragrance decorating the elevator hall directly connected to the facility were also lovely. Breakfast was delicious, featuring local specialties that I enjoyed while admiring the morning sun and mountain views. The Room was clean, spacious, and perfect in every way. Although it overlooked the Shinkansen platform, it was quiet and comfortable. I would love to stay here again—thank you very much!

    A clean Hotel near Kumamoto Station.

    The price is a bit high (around 30,000 yen for a double room with No Meals Included), so I hesitated until the end, but it was a very convenient and nice Hotel near the station. However, there were long hairs scattered here and there, which even I noticed despite my poor eyesight, so I felt the cleaning might not be thorough. The customer service was also slightly disappointing. The public bath was a bit small; although the vacancy display showed space for more than five people, I wondered how crowded it would feel when fully occupied. Since the display reflects conditions from about 10 minutes prior, even if it shows availability when you head over, it might still be crowded. There are only two elevators, and you need to transfer from the first floor to the lobby floor and then again to guestroom floors, which is slightly inconvenient. The elevator speed is also slow; having stairs would have been nice. Although I've written mostly negative points here, overall I think it's a good Hotel.
