    Brand new Hotel

    I stayed in the corner Room on the top floor, and it was a very comfortable space with a great view and a spacious Room. From the Room, I could see Matsuyama City and Matsuyama Castle. The location was excellent, and I could easily walk to places like Dogo Onsen Honkan. The staff were attentive and provided good service.

    The feel of the Room

    I felt a sense of novelty. However, it didn't feel like staying at an Onsen, but rather like staying in a studio apartment. Given the limited space, it can't be helped, but next time I think I'll stay at a different Stays. The staff's service was excellent.

    It was great!

    We arrived early, so we left our luggage and immediately went out for lunch. The private passage that leads directly to the vicinity of the Dogo Onsen Main Building is very convenient, and the location is excellent. The room on the 8th floor had a balcony with a view of Matsuyama Castle, and the interior, including the bedroom, washroom, and unit bath with a washing area, was sparkling clean and felt very pleasant. The breakfast buffet was well-stocked with both Japanese and Western dishes, but it was a bit disappointing that there was no butter for the toast, only margarine. However, it is a hotel I would like to stay at again if I have the chance.

    I was very satisfied with my stay.

    My husband and I stayed for a long period of five nights, and during that time, we were served fixed sashimi and two grilled dishes for dinner, which changed daily, so we never got bored. Moreover, on the final day, we were surprised with a cake made by a patissier, and we couldn't help but cheer at the painting on the plate with chocolate. The Onsen was spacious, with a jacuzzi, a large indoor bath, and an open-air bath, allowing us to enjoy the variety. We enjoyed the gentle and gradually permeating waters of Dogo Onsen. Thank you very much.

    Convenient location

    I visited Dogo Onsen for the first time in 10 years. The hotel was very convenient as it was very close to the Dogo Onsen Honkan and everything could be accessed by elevator. The hotel was new, the room was clean, and I could see the Dogo Onsen Honkan, so I had a pleasant stay. My husband said that the hotel's onsen had a better view and the water was cleaner and better than the Dogo Onsen Honkan. There was a live piano and clarinet performance in the lobby at night, which was impressive. The jazz standard numbers reminded me of my favorite jazzman, Eiji Kitamura, and I enjoyed it. Although I only used the breakfast service, it was a bit disappointing that some items were out of stock due to the late hour, but it was delicious. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

    The location is excellent.

    The hotel was new and very clean. The quality of the Onsen water was excellent—colorless and transparent, yet it made my skin feel incredibly smooth. At first, the temperature felt hot, but I got used to it and could enjoy soaking slowly. In the large public bath, small towels and bath towels are provided, so you can take your room's towels to ride the elevator that connects almost directly to Dogo Onsen Honkan or the shopping street. Baskets are also available, along with outdoor sandals, indoor slippers, and even slippers you can take home. What surprised me was that in the room's closet there were two yukatas of different sizes for each guest. This thoughtful touch showed their desire for guests to relax and enjoy the Onsen experience fully. As for the room layout, stepping up into a tatami area where water facilities are located required taking off and putting on slippers repeatedly—it felt a bit inconvenient. Regarding meals... they were somewhat disappointing. The dinner buffet lacked freshly prepared dishes or local specialties; while sushi was made on-site, it lacked charm both in taste and presentation. The main meat dish and sashimi were decent at best.

    I chose this accommodation for my first visit to Dogo Onsen. The access to the Dogo Onsen Honkan is excellent, requiring only two elevator rides from next to the front desk. Dinner was buffet-based but included sashimi and steak, which was satisfying. The sushi was freshly made, and the sweets were delicious. The facilities were new and had a sense of cleanliness. The staff were very friendly and approachable everywhere, leaving a very good impression. The price was reasonable, offering great value for money, and I thoroughly enjoyed Dogo Onsen.
