Recommended by Mercure

Arrived at the Hotel from Kyoto Station by taxi (700 yen) due to heavy rain and a large suitcase. Check-in was smooth, and the Room was stylish yet functional. The bed had a comfortable firmness that even my British partner appreciated (not too hard). Water pressure was slightly low. Conveniently located within a 3-minute walk to a convenience store, coin laundry, izakaya, and Yamato Transport center. Less than 10 minutes to Kyoto Station (without luggage). The area had relatively many Western visitors and was fairly quiet. Close to Nishi Honganji Temple, it offered a relaxing stay despite being near the station.
