    I have stayed here s...

    I have stayed here several times, and the staff always welcomed me warmly, making it a wonderful stay. This time I also used the restaurant; the food was delicious and very satisfying. The Room had a great view and was very clean. I will stay here again when I visit Kyoto.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    I stayed here on short notice and had a very comfortable stay. The Room was spacious and clean. Above all, the staff service was outstanding. Even though I checked in late at night, they warmly welcomed me and kindly gave me detailed directions to the station the next day. I will stay again—thank you very much.

    A casual Hotel in a great location

    Its convenient location near Kyoto Station makes it a stylish Hotel and a great base for sightseeing in Kyoto. I stayed in the Privilege Room and enjoyed the afternoon drinks. The drinks were plentiful, but I wish there had been a wider variety of light snacks. I also felt the breakfast could be improved a bit more. With a 12:00 check-out, I was able to relax after breakfast, watch movies on Netflix, and fully enjoy my stay at the Hotel.

    How many times has it been?

    Knowing how great the Privilege room is, it was my only choice.\nIt was very comfortable.\nNo need to take a shuttle bus, and it was quiet.\nI also enjoyed the Nespresso with my own creamer. As expected, the Iittala mug feels great on the lips. The bed was very comfortable too. It does get quite dry, but having a humidifier was really helpful.

    I used it as a day-u...

    I used it as a day-use stay to coincide with an event in Kyoto. The Room was clean and had a calm atmosphere. Perhaps because I stayed in winter, the Room felt a little dark. It was quiet and relaxing, and I felt comfortable throughout my stay.

    It was a comfortable stay.

    The Room (including design, furnishings, and cleanliness) was very satisfying, allowing for a relaxing stay. The meals were truly exceptional as expected, and both the afternoon tea service and breakfast were absolutely delightful. I wished I could have eaten breakfast for three people... (impossible though). Overall, it is a wonderful Hotel with high satisfaction levels. Below are some notes for future guests as information rather than criticism: - As we stayed in a Privilege Twin Room, the in-room coffee was only available via an espresso machine without any creamer-like options; please take note if needed. - Although not mentioned in the Hotel guidebook, the microwave in the basement lounge was available for use. - The bathtub was relatively shallow. I would love to stay again if given another opportunity. Thank you very much!

    Arrived at the Hotel from Kyoto Station by taxi (700 yen) due to heavy rain and a large suitcase. Check-in was smooth, and the Room was stylish yet functional. The bed had a comfortable firmness that even my British partner appreciated (not too hard). Water pressure was slightly low. Conveniently located within a 3-minute walk to a convenience store, coin laundry, izakaya, and Yamato Transport center. Less than 10 minutes to Kyoto Station (without luggage). The area had relatively many Western visitors and was fairly quiet. Close to Nishi Honganji Temple, it offered a relaxing stay despite being near the station.

    I made a last-minute...

    I made a last-minute reservation on the day. The room was very stylish and lifted my spirits. Although it was a bit disappointing that there was no bathtub (as I enjoy soaking leisurely), the shower booth was spacious enough. I also enjoyed the Nespresso machine. Lunch exceeded my expectations and surprised me with its deliciousness. It was Italian but had a distinct Kyoto touch, allowing me to savor the flavors of summer in Kyoto. Thanks to this, I had a wonderful summer vacation.

    Wonderful!

    The service was wonderful, and I was impressed by the hospitality of the front staff. I am grateful for the various considerations. The Room was clean and tidy, allowing for a pleasant stay. I slept comfortably and woke up refreshed in the morning, enjoying a shower in the clean shower room, which made for a pleasant start to the day. The breakfast restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes. The only slight disappointment was that while I was still eating and had left my seat, the table was cleared when I returned with more food, and even the dishes I had left were taken away. I thought I was observing dining etiquette, but it went unnoticed, which was unfortunate. I believe it would be even more comfortable if the restaurant were considerate to the staff by placing something to indicate that the meal is still in progress.

    The service is extremely poor.

    Despite having made an Online Credit Card Payment, I was asked to pay on-site. I had to wait about 15 minutes for that confirmation. Additionally, although I had made a Reservation with a breakfast-included Plan, at the breakfast venue, I was told that my Reservation did not include breakfast. This confirmation also took time and was very unpleasant. There was no apology whatsoever for taking up the customer's valuable time. I will never stay at this Hotel again.

    The room feels a bit...

    The room feels a bit small, but it might be good for a single person to use again. For those on a Multiple Night Stay, the variety of meals in the morning and evening is limited, which might be a bit tough, and there are also few dining options in the surrounding area.

    The Hotel is very we...

    The Hotel is very well-designed and sparkling, with a lounge in the basement that can be used freely, which was impressive. However, there is no razor, only a shower room which is narrow, and no door between the door and the bed. The staff are foreigners and seem not to understand Japanese, making it feel like overseas. By the way, breakfast has few options, with bread, salad, and hot meals, and there was nothing from Kyoto. This is the reason for the deduction. Suitable for those accustomed to overseas hotels. For the price, there is less service. It's narrow, the windows are painted white, and you can't see outside. It's quite far from the station. Not highly recommended.

    About Reception

    At check-in, it took a long time to process as there were many overseas guests, but there were only two staff members handling it. I felt that it would be better to temporarily increase the number of reception staff to proceed smoothly. Other than that, there were no issues with room cleaning or the Facility.
