    Lounge

    I stayed mainly to use the lounge. When making my Reservation, I learned that Rooms with a fireworks view are Standard Rooms. Ideally, I wanted a Room with a separate bath and toilet, but I checked in hoping for an upgrade at the front desk. However, I was still assigned a Standard Room. In the lounge, the tea time and cocktail time offerings were good, but breakfast had only bread and yogurt. I wished there had been at least salad or eggs. It was the most limited lounge selection I’ve experienced so far. On the positive side, it was great to be able to watch the fireworks slowly from my Room’s balcony.

    Convenient & Satisfying

    They took our luggage from Maihama to the Hotel and even handled check-in for us. We were able to stay at the park until 9:00, then return on a dedicated bus and go straight to our Room. They also upgraded us to a larger Room than our Reservation. The Hotel staff were wonderful—almost like an extension of the park experience. There’s a convenience store inside, plus shops selling park goods, so even though we didn’t make it to DisneySea, we could still buy merchandise! In the morning, instead of the Hotel buffet breakfast, we saved money by buying bread from a food truck and eating in our Room—it was delicious and more than enough.

    Family Trip

    We stayed as a family of four—my wife and I, our 2-year-old daughter, and our 0-year-old son! Since we eat chicken and popcorn at DisneySea and Disneyland, we intentionally chose the No Meals Included plan. And our reliable ally was…the lounge! Haha When we wanted a quick snack: the lounge. When we wanted to watch the fireworks at a relaxed pace: the lounge. When we wanted some bread on departure morning: the lounge. …We ended up using the lounge so much that it felt like we were basically “staying in the lounge” as a family! The staff were very kind—they waved to our daughter and son and chatted with us, making it a comfortable place to stay. As soon as we left the Hotel in the car on our way home, my wife and I said, “Next time, it’s this Hotel again!” If you plan to use the lounge, it might be helpful to check in advance what is served at each time of day.

    Convenient!

    It was a weekday one-night stay with breakfast and dinner included. There were few guests at the dinner buffet, so we could relax and take our time. Bath salts were provided in the Room, which was a lovely touch. It seemed we were given an upgraded Room compared to our Reservation, and it had views of the monorail and the park, which made us very happy. For breakfast, we could join the waitlist on our smartphone that morning and relax in our Room until it was our turn. There were more people than at dinner, but it wasn’t crowded.

    A couple in their 60s and 70s staying overnight after visiting Disneyland.

    When can we stay again?! We went to Tokyo Disneyland on a warm Friday at the end of February. Looking around, most people our age seemed to be there with their children or grandchildren. Still, the crowds were far beyond what we expected for a weekday. Even the coin lockers nearby were full, so we just kept walking and walking—quite a change from our usual car-based routine. As expected, we were completely worn out, so choosing a dinner Plan at the Hotel was absolutely the right call. At TDL we had rushed through lunch, so we made a Reservation for 5:30 p.m., right when the restaurant opened. It was still quiet then, and we could start dinner in a relaxed atmosphere. The Plan with either three drinks or two drinks included is great! I ordered a Chivas Regal Mizunara highball and went to get food. Considering how spacious the restaurant is, I felt the selection was a bit limited—but overall everything tasted very good. The large roast pork carved and served for us was even better than expected. More than anything, what made dinner wonderful was the Hotel staff member serving alcohol: he even noticed I had taken roast pork and kindly said that it pairs well with the highball (Chivas Regal Mizunara). He also spoke to us while we were paying. This is true Hotel hospitality—such a lovely time. Couples our age are probably in the minority at this restaurant. In the morning, there was an online system where you make a Reservation and go to the restaurant once you receive your notice; even so, it was crowded. Breakfast was fun with lots of variety. I’ve loved the atrium ever since before it became Grand Nikko—the moment you enter this Hotel feels special. This was my second stay since it changed to Grand Nikko, and once again I enjoyed that unique “getaway” feeling that only a Hotel can offer. If I had to mention one thing: some of the cleaning staff we saw in the hallway didn’t really greet guests much. Our Room was kept beautifully and we had such an enjoyable stay; although they weren’t passing directly by us every time, when I tried to greet them as thanks they would quickly move on. That part felt slightly disappointing—though with so many Rooms to take care of, I’m sure it’s demanding work. We’re looking forward to coming back again someday soon.

    Wonderful memories

    It was comfortable and good value for money, but

    We stayed here after a Disney trip. Last summer we stayed at Grand Nikko Tokyo Daiba and had a great impression, so this time we wanted to try Tokyo Bay as well and made a Reservation through IKYU with an affordable Plan. The Plan was “Room assigned on the day,” but we truly appreciated being provided with a comfortable Room. Thanks to that, we had a quiet and relaxing stay. At check-in, our One Harmony membership details had already been applied, and I was impressed by how well everything was managed. One downside was breakfast. Since we booked with breakfast included, we used the buffet the next morning, but it was extremely crowded and didn’t feel very relaxing. The queue Reservation system for breakfast is convenient because you don’t have to wait in front of the restaurant for a long time, but perhaps because it was Sunday, even though we planned to go after 9:00 a.m., when I checked the site around 8:30 it showed over an hour’s wait with 140 groups ahead—so we rushed to Reserve. In the end, we were called around 9:30 as shown on the display, but on busy days it seems best to check early. As for the food itself, honestly my impression was that there were simply many items… It felt like a typical old-style breakfast buffet—more quantity than quality. I had seen online that the breakfast buffet was “luxurious,” and since breakfast at the Odaiba property was excellent I was looking forward to it, but in reality my satisfaction level was low. These days even Business Hotels put more thought into their offerings, so I also felt that with this content it might be fine not to add breakfast. I enjoy traveling and have tried many hotel breakfasts; this one was the most disappointing in recent years—sorry… Also, even during the 9 o’clock hour (when I was told at reception that it should be fairly quiet), it was still very crowded inside. Refills of food and tableware couldn’t keep up, so meals didn’t proceed smoothly; and perhaps due to the layout, traffic flow wasn’t great and there were many times when it was hard to get what we wanted. I hope these points will be improved. (With many people lining up for burgers and omelets, taking nearby dishes or passing through became very congested.) By the way, Tamayura—the other breakfast venue—was not an option for us because sashimi isn’t available there (or cannot be eaten there), so choosing the buffet venue only is why we ended up using just one option. Aside from breakfast, our stay itself was comfortable and all staff were kind and courteous overall, so in general we are satisfied.

    Good value for money if you can tolerate the odor.

    The aroma that greets you the moment you step inside was memorable, and a different pleasant scent could also be enjoyed in the guest room. While many Accommodations have become more mindful about fragrances in recent years, it felt rare to see it curated this thoroughly. On the other hand, there was a somewhat strong odor when I opened the bathroom door. At first I assumed it was residual disinfectant and took a bath as usual, but over time an unpleasant smell began to spread. It seemed likely to be related to the water/sewage system or plumbing; it may not be an easy issue to resolve quickly, but it is something I hope will be improved. It also made me wonder whether the aroma fragrance was intended as a countermeasure for this. The slightly low hot-water volume is another drawback. Aside from that, my stay was generally comfortable. Check-in was smooth, and the shop has long opening hours, which is very convenient. The staff were also courteous. Unlike other Hotels, there were plenty of takeaway options, which left a good impression. Since on-site restaurants often close after the park closes, having warm meal options available was appreciated. I’m also grateful they accommodate late hours. If I had to mention one thing, rice dishes such as fried rice would be even more satisfying with slightly larger portions. The guest room is not designed to emphasize luxury, but it feels clean and is more than sufficient for staying before or after visiting the park. Features like being able to wash both in the bathtub area and in a separate shower booth, as well as having a toilet separate from the bathroom area, are very family-friendly and excellent. Regarding odors, there wasn’t any major issue as long as I didn’t soak for an extended time. Overall, considering the balance with the price, it felt like a stay that made sense value-wise.

    I’d love to stay here again!

    I had visited before for a family meal, but this time I stayed to enjoy the Accommodation and take my time at the breakfast buffet.\nThey upgraded our Room, and my daughter and I were able to relax comfortably while enjoying breakfast at a leisurely pace.

    A Fun Day

    This time was a Disney day as a birthday gift from my husband. From arriving at the Hotel in the morning until checkout the next day, there were no inconveniences at all. All the staff greeted us with smiles and provided courteous service, so we were able to enjoy a wonderful day. Thank you very much.

    The lounge is comfortable.

    We stayed on the 11th floor with lounge access. Right after check-in, we enjoyed sweets such as cake, and from 5:30 p.m. we went back for light snacks. With drinks plus ham, cheese, and more, we were completely full. We used the hotel’s free bus to the Disneyland private party, and didn’t need dinner at all. For breakfast, Japanese options were available, and after eating we went to the lounge for coffee. We really made the most of the lounge!

    It was paradise.

    I stayed here on purpose because I was in the area for work. I also stopped by Disney for the first time in a while (it’s fun even solo), and it completely blew away my weekend fatigue. I didn’t have time to go out for dinner, so I bought food at the shop on the first floor, and they had a great variety of bento boxes, drinks (including alcohol), and breakfast breads—so it might be a good option just to relax and recover. While having a drink in my Room, I could clearly see the park fireworks from the window—it was a wonderful night. Also, the bathroom had a separate washing area, and the provided bath salts were amazing—great scent and moisturizing too. I’ll stay here again next time.

    Both the Room and breakfast service were excellent.

    Thank you very much for providing such wonderful service. Since we had a Reservation for a twin Room, I asked in advance whether it would be possible to eliminate the gap between the beds. You kindly confirmed it was possible and also arranged the beds closer to the wall. As a result, both my child and I were able to rest with peace of mind. The Room was very spacious, and we also appreciated that the bath and toilet were separate. We could see a beautiful night view from the bathroom window, which truly impressed my child. Breakfast was excellent—every dish was delicious, with an impressive variety. Despite many guests staying at the Accommodation, it was easy to get food smoothly, and everything was consistently well stocked, which showed the high level of service. If we have another opportunity, we would love to stay again. Thank you for helping us create such wonderful memories.

    We had a wonderful time.

    This time, we stayed in the spacious Nikko Grand Family Room for the first time. We were delighted that all five of us could sleep on beds of the same size. The living space was also large, allowing us to enjoy a relaxing time in the room. The bathroom was spacious, but we all agreed it would be even better if there were a washing area between the shower room and bathtub. We tried the pancake machine during tea time at the lounge for the first time and found it very delicious. During cocktail hour, although it was a busy period with many people, staff members attentively replenished dishes as they ran low. For my friends who joined us (except for my daughter and me), this was their first stay at this accommodation. They were impressed by everything: shuttle service from Maihama Station, bright atrium atmosphere, numerous staff members on the lobby floor, lounge services, cleanliness of rooms with well-equipped amenities, and no stress waiting for elevators. We will continue to use this accommodation whenever staying in Maihama. Thank you very much!

    This is my second stay.

    This time, the reservation was for a room without a view or balcony, but just like last time, we were upgraded to a spacious room with a view and balcony. The resort liner station is within walking distance, making access convenient. The staff were very kind and left a great impression. I would love to use this service again.

    Upgrade to a Family Room

    We were upgraded from a Superior Room to a Family Room, and it was great that the bathroom and toilet were separate. The view from the room was also wonderful, with a sea view and beautiful night scenery.

    Why?

    I booked this hotel for New Year's Eve. I planned to relax in the bathtub after the countdown, but as I rinsed the tub with the shower, I noticed that water was not draining properly. The water remained stagnant and even after filling the bathtub, it couldn't be drained. This led to a room change in the middle of the night. I wonder why this issue wasn't noticed during cleaning before check-in. It was supposed to be a suite room, but due to this unexpected situation and having to switch rooms late at night, it was no longer a suite room experience. Allowing guests to stay in a suite room with an unusable bathtub is unacceptable and incomprehensible. Very disappointing.

    Perfect score

    During the New Year stay, we enjoyed a luxurious breakfast with ozoni, otoso, and red rice. There was a wide variety of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, and I was especially happy to find crepes. The Room was spacious and clean with great views. Amenities were well-prepared, service was polite, and check-in was quick. Excellent convenience and value for money. It was a perfect Hotel without any drawbacks!

    After a false fire alarm

    Stayed with family on the 4th floor. Around 3:25 AM, an announcement was made saying, "Fire on the 3rd floor, under investigation. Please stay in your Room and wait for further instructions via broadcast." Checked the surroundings but saw no smoke or anything unusual; no fire alarm was ringing either. Still concerned, I changed clothes and rechecked the emergency exit location. After 10 minutes with no follow-up announcement, I noticed someone at the front desk ringing a bell to call staff. Eventually called the front desk via internal phone and was simply told it was a "false alarm." Even late at night, it would have been nice to hear an announcement like "The earlier broadcast was a false alarm; please rest easy." I ended up fully awake and couldn’t sleep until morning. The lack of sleep made it tough to enjoy the park visit the next day. It’s disappointing that this happened at a Hotel my family has been familiar with for years despite its rebranding over time.

    Satisfied.

    I initially reserved a room without a view, thinking it was just for sleeping, but thanks to the hotel's thoughtful consideration, I was upgraded. Even though we returned early due to the rain, we were able to see Disneyland's fireworks from the room and felt incredibly happy. The children were overjoyed. Thank you very much!

    Had the best time!

    It was my first time staying at a Disney Official Hotel, and after checking reviews and travel channels on YouTube, I decided to stay here! We were visiting DisneySea to celebrate my husband's birthday, so I thought it would be a great opportunity to try an official hotel. I booked the "Candy House Cake Plan" with a room that has a bathroom with a washing area. I also requested if possible for a room with even just a slight view of the park. We arrived at the hotel at 10 PM, and it was much closer to the station than I had imagined, which was very helpful after walking all day in the park! The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, and we were able to stay in such an amazing room! The candy house cake from our plan was absolutely delicious—especially the strawberry mousse and chocolate brownie base of the candy house were exquisite! Of course, the strawberries themselves were also delightful. Since I had told my husband about this as a surprise beforehand, when receiving the cake, one of your staff discreetly handed over his birthday chocolate plate without him noticing—it made me so happy! The room was clean, including the bathroom with its washing area. The bedding was comfortable as well; we could truly relax after our long day. As for breakfast buffet—it lived up to what I'd researched beforehand: plenty of variety and everything tasted wonderful! Even desserts were fantastic. All your staff members were incredibly polite from when we left our luggage at Welcome Center until checkout—we felt so welcomed throughout our stay! It’s been quite some time since we've stayed somewhere where every single staff member left such an impression; choosing this hotel turned out perfect! For my husband's birthday surprise celebration choosing Grand Nikko Tokyo Bay Maihama turned out amazing—he even said he wants us both back again soon (and honestly same here)! Thank you so much once again for making this experience unforgettable!! We look forward eagerly toward staying again someday soon!!

    Not suitable for solo travelers.

    The illumination was beautiful. It was a Room Plan with lounge access, but it was quite disappointing. I think it’s good for families or groups, but for solo travelers, a regular Plan might be better.

    The sweets were excellent until the 14th.

    We had a wonderful time at a seat with an ocean view. We always enjoyed the breakfast buffet at Dou Jardin, but this was the first time we discovered the amazing seats in the back. The strawberries were plentiful, not overly sweet, and absolutely delicious. Thank you very much. We look forward to making a reservation again next year.

    The lobby offers a great sense of openness.

    I stayed in a Japanese-Western style room. Hotels around TDL with Japanese or Japanese-Western style rooms are rare, making this one of the valuable accommodations, and reservations can be quite challenging. As for the room, unexpectedly, you take off your shoes in the Japanese-style area while keeping them on in the Western-style part. This might be a matter of personal preference (personally, I would prefer a fully shoe-free style). While other rooms seem to have been renovated, the Japanese-Western style room felt older but is likely one of the most expensive options. I hope it gets renovated soon. Breakfast was average—neither particularly good nor bad. Once my child grows older, I’d like to stay in a Nikko Room or similar with lounge access (considering its price point, it feels like lounge access should also be included for Japanese-Western style rooms).

No matter how many times I stay, I am deeply impressed by the cleanliness of the room, the warm hospitality of all staff members, and the consistently comfortable environment.     Room...

    I stayed with a one-night plan that included dinner and breakfast. The front desk staff were very polite, accommodating my request in advance and assigning me a room close to the elevator, which was very helpful. The amenities were sufficient, and the buffet for both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of options that I enjoyed. Its proximity to Disney was convenient, and I appreciated being able to purchase most major souvenirs at the hotel's gift shop. It had been a while since I last stayed at Grand Nikko, but this time I stayed on the Nikko Floor for the first time. I was looking forward to it as it was an upgrade from my usual stay. The Nikko Lounge was wonderful; I visited during cocktail time and enjoyed the variety of light snacks available. However...the room itself was dirty! The shelf above the bed's headboard seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in ages—it was covered in dust—and there were items like an ice cream spoon, used tissues, and hair lying around. In terms of water facilities, there were white stains from limescale on the toilet faucet head, watermarks all over the amenity box, and even the trash can lid in the room had come off its hinges. One pair of indoor slippers appeared to have been previously opened but placed back into its bag as if unused—it really surprised me! This kind of thing never happened before...it left me very disappointed this time around. Other than how dirty the room was, everything else met my expectations without any complaints!
