    It was excellent.

    The cleanliness, spaciousness, and amenities of the Room are sufficient. There is also a large public bath, making it comfortable. Breakfast offers a wide variety of options. Additionally, when consulting the front desk about purchasing souvenirs, they responded very politely.

    Easily accessible location via an underground walkway from Osaka Station. A convenience store is located on the first floor for your convenience. The elevator requires a card key to operate, ensuring top-notch security.

    Delicious breakfast!

    I stayed again this time because the breakfast was delicious last time! The scones are truly amazing, and the clotted cream is excellent! The room is spacious and comfortable to relax in, and the amenities are well-equipped.

    Even with my poor se...

    Even with my poor sense of direction, I arrived without getting lost. Thank you for holding my luggage and welcoming me warmly, even though I returned late after finishing dinner at 11:30 PM. I especially enjoyed the simmered radish at the breakfast buffet and even went back for seconds. Although I usually prefer bread, I indulged in both Japanese and Western dishes that day! I had a relaxing time in the large public bath in the morning as well. I look forward to visiting again someday!

    Very close to Kitash...

    Very close to Kitashinchi Station, with a Sugi Pharmacy and Lawson convenience store next door, making it a convenient location. The only downside was the crowded public bath, which sometimes required waiting for a washing space. Other than that, the room and facilities were comfortable, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

    Something on the bed...?

    Stayed for 3 nights. The bath was nice. The location is in front of Kitashinchi Station, but walking to Umeda was a bit inconvenient. There seemed to be bugs in the bedding as my body felt itchy at night, especially the lower body and ears. I had to buy ointment and apply it frequently. The itchiness occurred all three nights when getting into bed. The attitude of the front desk staff during check-out was not satisfactory. I do not feel inclined to stay here again.

    Delicious breakfast provided

    Used for Expo sightseeing. The breakfast was delicious. The bath is of standard size for a city Hotel, but during busy hours, there was a line to use the washing area. It might be difficult to adjust the timing, but some improvement would be appreciated!

    Very family-friendly and extremely helpful.

    Positive Points: - Bed guards were provided, ensuring safety for small children. - The front desk staff and breakfast venue staff were very kind. - Breakfast was delicious. → Stayed for two nights, and both menus were different yet equally tasty. - Security measures are well in place. → Elevators connect directly from outside, but card keys are required to access guest room floors. Additionally, the public bath has reception staff present, ensuring no concerns about suspicious individuals. Negative Points: - Some foreign staff members responded in a somewhat careless manner. → However, Japanese staff followed up and provided what we requested as hoped. - Elevators were extremely crowded at times, requiring us to wait multiple times before boarding. - The unit bath and toilet area in the guest room had a slightly unpleasant odor. - The public bath is relatively small.

    Great location.

    Conveniently located within walking distance from Osaka Station, it was very helpful to leave luggage after checkout and go shopping. The Room was spacious, and the Facility was clean. However, there was a welcome drink area after check-in, but there were no instructions on whether it could be used or if it was unavailable at certain times. The staff seemed expressionless and gave off an unapproachable atmosphere.

    Convenient location but noisy.

    Located near Kitashinchi Station and the Midosuji-Umeshin intersection. The area is busy with foot traffic late into the night, and motorcycle noise can be heard. The public bath includes a sauna, comparable to those in modern business hotels. Being on the 3rd floor, there is no scenic view unlike other locations such as Sendai's Monterey. If you're expecting Monterey-level service, this may differ. The atmosphere felt more chaotic compared to the West Umeda Monterey location.

    The room was spacious and convenient, but the bathroom had a sewage smell, which made using the toilet and brushing teeth challenging. It was helpful that hand towels were provided for use in the toilet. The large public bath allowed for a relaxing soak, and the changing room had lockers with keys, providing peace of mind. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options (including macarons and scones), which was exciting. I would love to stay at this Hotel again.

    First-time stay. The hotel is conveniently located right in front of the exit of Kitashinchi Station, accessible via an underground path after getting off the airport limousine bus. This was very helpful in the extreme heat. I paid an additional fee for early check-in, relaxed in the room, went out around 4 PM, and returned past 10 PM. Exhausted, I took a shower and tried to rest but was disturbed until midnight by loud conversations from foreign guests on the same floor and constant noise from car horns and motorcycles outside throughout the night, making it hard to sleep. Breakfast offered a good variety with some Osaka-style dishes that were delicious. The staff provided attentive and pleasant service. The twin room had adequate space; however, the bathroom felt cramped for two people due to its unit bath design—understandable but not ideal. As mentioned in reviews, there are three elevators which can be slow during non-breakfast hours and often crowded with foreign tourists at full capacity. I wanted to enjoy soaking in the large public bath but decided against it as it didn’t seem like a comfortable option given the situation. Overall, my likelihood of returning is low.

    Great value for money, always reliable and reassuring to use.

    The convenient location near Umeda Station initially caught my attention, but the well-maintained amenities and clean Room made it a comfortable stay for both families and business travelers. The large public bath on the 3rd floor is especially perfect for relaxation, and I used it twice daily, in the morning and at night. Additionally, the TV in the Room allows you to check crowd levels beforehand, so there's no worry about heading to the 3rd floor only to find it too crowded.

    A Comfortable Hotel

    It was a reasonably priced and fairly reliable Hotel. Umeda is a convenient location for getting anywhere. I usually stayed at the Hilton, but I am considering switching to this Hotel.

    It was very clean and quiet. The amenities were satisfying. Located in the heart of Kitashinchi, there are so many dinner options to choose from, and there's a convenience store right next door, making it very convenient. I would love to stay here again.

    Overall satisfied.

    The breakfast was excellent. The Room was clean, amenities were adequately provided, and it’s quite close to Osaka Station. I am very satisfied with this quality at this price. If I had to mention something, the public bath was smaller than expected; it was fine when I entered, but a bit crowded when leaving.

    Convenient for various purposes

    This Hotel is conveniently located for access to Kitashinchi. (It takes about a 10-minute walk from Umeda, so access from terminal stations is not the best.) The grade feels like a Business Hotel with a little extra. As is common in Osaka, there are many foreign tourists. Overall, I was satisfied. Surprisingly, the pillows and mattress suited my preferences, so I might consider staying here again for this reason.

    Walking distance from Umeda without getting wet, with access to all train lines, and surrounded by an impressive number of restaurants. No complaints about the Hotel, offering just the right level of service. The staff are properly attentive, and it offers great value for money.

    Breakfast worth celebrating!

    Stayed at a Monterey Accommodation after a long time. There were many foreign travelers, reflecting the strong inbound tourism. For Japanese travelers, the public bath is a great feature. The highlight is undoubtedly the delicious breakfast, rivaling that of high-end urban Resort Hotels. The vegetables, in particular, are exceptional. The accommodation cost including breakfast offers excellent value for money.

    A Blissful Moment.

    Amidst a busy work schedule, my husband and I stayed here for delicious breakfast and a shorter commute. Hotel Monterey offers an excellent breakfast, so I highly recommend choosing a plan that includes it. The wide variety of teas is also a nice touch. Additionally, when guests started lining up at one coffee machine, the staff promptly guided them to other available machines—impressive service! The elevator can be used without a card key, but access to guest room areas requires one, which adds to the sense of security. Be sure to enjoy the bathing facility! Although I couldn't use it this time, like other Hotel Monterey locations, their large public baths and mist saunas are perfect for relaxing both body and mind after travel fatigue. It's also convenient that you can check congestion status on their official website. We were provided with a spacious room where we could relax with an in-room bath and comfortable bed—thank you so much! We were especially satisfied as we booked through a short-stay plan at great value. If I had to mention something minor (just my personal opinion), it's that the pillows seem only available for purchase online. After using one for just one night and loving it, I was disappointed not being able to take it home despite knowing it's purchasable. Still, I'd love to stay again!

    Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka

    Thank you for your stay. The location was a bit confusing due to my age, so I took a taxi. The entrance was hard to find as it was above Sugi Pharmacy. Although the reception area felt a bit narrow, I felt relieved upon entering the Room with its spacious interior and large bed. I heard there was a public bath, so I tried it right away and found it very relaxing—much more satisfying than using the bath in the Room. The breakfast was delicious, with plenty of seating and a bright atmosphere. Considering the price, I thought it offered great value for money. I would love to stay again!

    It was a bit disappointing.

    The clock in the room was not showing the correct time. There was trash on the floor in the Room, and it seemed like vacuuming was not thorough. The cleaning staff I met in the hallway were very pleasant. The front desk staff were efficient and friendly, making both check-in and check-out quick and smooth.

    The property was very clean, allowing for a comfortable stay. The drink service in the lobby was also excellent.

    Everything was comfortable except for the elevator!

    The Room was clean, the amenities were very satisfying, and the complimentary bottled water made the stay comfortable! However, as I noticed during my previous visit, the elevator congestion was quite significant... Considering there are many international guests, it might be unavoidable, but it was a bit stressful.

    At the Expo!

    Stayed for one night during the Expo! I arrived the night before to relax. I was a bit surprised that all the front desk staff were foreigners, and many of the guests were also from overseas—it felt like I had traveled to another country! (Haha) The bath was compact but nice, and there was also a sauna, which I enjoyed. However, there were no brushes or combs available—I don’t have much hair, but it would’ve been nice to have one! I plan to visit the Expo again, so I might stay here again then!
