This is my first time using this service.

I wanted a change from my usual Accommodation in Hakone, so I stayed here for the first time. I could really feel the care put into the meals. Nothing about the ingredients, pairings, or cooking methods felt ordinary—everything was surprising and delicious. I enjoyed every dish while thinking how much ongoing research and refinement must go into it. This has become an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. There was only one small thing I noticed: I wish there had been an ottoman in the Room. I wanted to stretch out my legs and relax. It was also my first time seeing deer in Hakone. It became a wonderful memory.

It means a great deal to us that you felt the chef’s dedication in each dish, and receiving your comment that this is an “Accommodation you would like to visit again” is the greatest encouragement for our team. Thank you as well for your valuable feedback regarding the ottoman in your Room. While it was not available in the Room you stayed in this time, some Room types do include one. We will continue working to improve our website so that it is clearer and easier to understand, including adding photos. We are also glad to hear that you saw deer in Hakone for the first time. We do not feed them, so they are truly wild deer. We imagine our terrace may feel comfortable even for them. If this became one of your fond travel memories, we would be very happy.
