The hotel features a structure that runs parallel to the scenic Ashinoko Lake, incorporating its beauty and surrounding trees into a luxurious resort. Everything about this place is uplifting, from the stylish decor to the friendly and impressive staff. The buffet offers delicious and unique dishes. It’s a hotel that satisfies guests of all ages. ● Despite booking during an IKYU sale, our requests were accommodated, leaving us deeply impressed by the essence of Orix Hotels. Being assigned a room on the 3rd floor of the building adjacent to the main facility made it easy for elderly and disabled guests to move around effortlessly. It was just a one-minute walk to reach the 3rd floor of the main building, with elevator access making it convenient to reach facilities like: - Large public bath on 2nd floor - Restaurant on 4th floor We are truly grateful for this thoughtful arrangement. ● Breakfast and dinner were served at designated seats. Dinner offered more exciting options than typical sushi or tempura! Highlights included: - Mini unagi rice bowl (though not labeled domestic but soft and fluffy) - Mini salmon roe & salmon rice bowl - Kyoho grapes! The salad here was exceptional (super tender lettuce, egg salad with homemade dressing), along with red miso soup, clam soup, cheese tartlets, lamb meat—all delicious! ● Before breakfast service began at around 6:50 AM, guests gathered individually until staff announced entry in order of arrival through reception near left-hand doors. Seat change requests were not allowed; window-side seating—especially for two—is fantastic. ● The structure allows you to enjoy panoramic views of Ashinoko Lake from various spots: water terrace footbath area; lobby seating; restaurant; even standard rooms—breathtaking scenery everywhere! ● Decor throughout is natural wood-inspired minimalist yet stylishly refined—a calming yet exciting ambiance reminiscent of MUJI aesthetics. ● Impeccable cleanliness everywhere!! ● Staff are kind yet unobtrusive—their email responses are also exceptionally well-written. ● Nighttime brings true "silence." Even with windows open there’s no sound—not even insects or voices—a serene stillness prevails. Suggestions for improvement: While cleanly maintained now as an ordinary large public bath worth visiting once—it could be enhanced further by adding elements like herbal baths or rose-infused waters reflecting Hanori Resort's elevated charm!
