    It became a memorable experience.

    Walking on tatami mats inside the accommodation provides a relaxing experience. The meals are delicious, the rooms are clean, and all baths offer a sense of openness for a leisurely time. Within walking distance to Izumo Taisha Shrine. Just a few minutes' drive to Shimane Winery, where you can enjoy wine tasting and still return to the accommodation within a safe driving time frame—an excellent location. If there's one drawback, it's that there is only one room key provided for three guests. A wonderful accommodation I would love to visit again.

    A great value accommodation.

    I took my mother, and it was an accommodation that truly lived up to its popularity among women. The food was delicious, and the staff's attentiveness was wonderful. Also, if you enjoy alcohol, be sure to try the all-you-can-drink option. The room had a modern Japanese style that I think many women would love. Personally, I really appreciated being able to grind my own coffee with the provided coffee beans and grinder. As for the bath, I didn't use the private bath, so this might not be a complete evaluation—please keep that in mind.

    A comfortable and perfectly pleasant Hotel.

    I stayed here with my daughter to visit Izumo Taisha. Although it is close to Izumo Taisha, we traveled by car. After considering various accommodations, I found that many were far from home and exceeded our budget. However, "Tsukiyo no Usagi" seemed like a good choice, so I made the reservation. The tatami flooring starting from the lobby was a first-time experience for me. Initially, it felt unusual underfoot but eventually became relaxing and pleasant. It was refreshing to see staff providing a place to clean suitcase rollers upon arrival. The facility is compact and well-organized. While there seemed to be many guests, the onsen and dining areas were spacious, clean, and comfortable. The dining area had many two-person seats facing outward, allowing for private meals in a relaxed setting. The breakfast buffet offered small portions of various dishes that allowed us to try different options; everything was thoughtfully prepared and delicious. Although I have used other Kyoritsu Resort accommodations before, this was my first time trying their "Yonaki Soba," which could be taken back to the room—a nice touch. In our room, there were about three sinks (including one near the toilet and bath). It would have been convenient if small hand towels or paper towels were provided at these locations; however, tissues and trash bins placed throughout made up for this inconvenience. Despite being told that all rooms were fully booked during our stay, the baths weren’t crowded—perhaps because guests dispersed between private baths or two types of public baths available onsite—and we enjoyed them comfortably while admiring cherry blossoms through small windows. There are several instances where bending down is required—for example: low beds; shoe racks where latecomers may need lower slots; cups stored on shelves beneath TV stands in rooms—which might not suit everyone’s preference entirely but didn’t detract much overall enjoyment either! Raising storage placement slightly higher could improve convenience further though! Lastly—the takeaway coffee station set up within lobby added extra relaxation opportunities alongside excellent service offerings throughout stay enhancing travel experience altogether!     Close to Izumo Taisha Shrine

    Upon arrival, I was asked to take off my shoes and place them in a shoe locker, which made me feel like I was at a bathhouse. When I asked if the suitcase I had sent ahead was placed in my room, they said they hadn't received it. After mentioning that the delivery status showed it as delivered, they brought it out on a cart from the back and told me to use it. Surprised, I asked if I had to carry it myself. Whenever traveling or on business trips, accommodations usually place the suitcase in the room for me—even at any business hotel—so this was a first-time experience for me. Dinner time had already been set at 7:45 PM with no other options available. Feeling very hungry, I asked if there were any items sold at their shop but was told there weren’t any available. They also mentioned there were no nearby stores and that while they could call a taxi, there’s no guarantee one would come—this series of "no" responses left me feeling quite disappointed. I walked gloomily to a local product center where I bought fish cakes and snacks to eat in my room later that evening. The outdoor bath temperature was slightly high but enjoyable overall; although not noticeable during bathing itself, my face felt radiant the next day. Since many reviews mentioned meals weren't great here beforehand—I didn’t have high expectations—but found them standard enough instead! Young restaurant staff worked efficiently & pleasantly compared favorably against front desk service quality-wise perhaps swapping roles might improve things? Best feature undoubtedly remains its location just ten minutes’ walk away from Izumo Taisha Shrine allowing early morning visits possible next trip though will ensure bringing light snacks beforehand!

    It was great.

    The buffet offered a wide variety and was enjoyable, the Onsen was relaxing, and the room was clean and pleasant. The bed in the guest room had a futon placed on a thick cushion, which made it lower than a regular bed. This made it slightly challenging to get up when standing from the bed. It was convenient to have an outlet near the bed for charging my smartphone. Occasionally, people moving through the hallway loudly could be heard more than expected inside the room. The air conditioner was set to heating mode, and although I lowered the temperature setting, I woke up sweating several times until I realized switching it to automatic would help.

    We stayed for two nights as a family. Thank you for your hospitality. For this price, the service provided was truly delightful. The accommodation is close to Izumo Taisha, includes buffet-style meals for both dinner and breakfast, offers access to an onsen, and the room was clean and spacious—completely satisfying. The staff were all cheerful and courteous, with excellent teamwork that I found impressive. Overall, the food was delicious, but my favorite was the clam miso soup. Since we stayed for two nights, I had hoped for some variation in the dinner menu. This is definitely a ryokan I would love to stay at again. Please keep up the great work!

    It was excellent.

    The staff was very kind and attentive. During the meal, my 1-year-old child fell asleep, but thanks to their thoughtful assistance, I was able to enjoy my meal at ease. Their prompt and friendly response to unexpected situations was truly appreciated. The enjoyable time passed by so quickly! Additionally, with a clean Room, beautiful building, delicious meals, and a private bath for relaxing moments, I would definitely love to visit again.

    Close to Izumo Taisha Shrine

    It was a great Ryokan. Instead of slippers, you walk around the premises in tabi socks. The entire floor is tatami with underfloor heating, making it very comfortable.

    Comfortable Accommodation

    The hallways are also covered with tatami and everything is impeccably clean. Night soba and ice cream are free of charge. The Onsen is available 24 hours, which is a wonderful service. It was an accommodation that can satisfy solo travelers, families, and couples alike!

    I had a very relaxing stay.

    Everything was perfect. The Hotel was clean as guests are required to stay barefoot or in socks inside. The buffet meals were of high quality, and there were plenty of baths, including private ones. Even without moisturizing after bathing, my skin remained smooth and radiant the next morning without any dryness. For those who want to relax and spend time inside the Hotel, this is an excellent choice. I definitely want to stay at this Hotel again!

    A wonderful accommodation where you can relax.

    After staying at a large hotel in Tottori the previous day, this accommodation was a delightful change. The type of accommodation where you take off your shoes at the entrance feels so comforting. Above all, the staff's exceptional hospitality stood out! Not only at the front desk but also the restaurant service staff during dinner and breakfast warmly interacted with us, making our stay incredibly pleasant. At first glance, many seemed quite young—perhaps university students working part-time? However, it’s clear that they work in a great environment. Rather than just being efficient, their heartfelt service truly reflected the warmth of this accommodation. The meals and Onsen were also outstanding—it was truly a wonderful place to stay. Thank you very much!

    Long-awaited.

    My first solo trip to Izumo Taisha. Since it's very close to Izumo Taisha, I decided this is definitely the place to stay! The next morning, I walked to Izumo Taisha and was able to see a beautiful sunrise and rainbow! The room was clean, and there was a convenience store nearby, allowing me to enjoy a comfortable and leisurely solo trip. Next time, I want to have a Multiple Night Stay!

    37th anniversary trip

    We stayed at Tsukiyo no Usagi in Izumo for our wedding anniversary. It was a very stylish and wonderful ryokan, and we were able to spend our time leisurely. All the private baths were stylish, and we were thrilled to be able to use them for free. The staff at the ryokan were all smiling and provided excellent service. We would definitely like to use it again. The buffet had a variety of dishes, and we were very satisfied. Thanks to you, we made great memories. Thank you very much.

    It was helpful being close to Izumo Taisha.

    I stayed here because my purpose was to visit the shrine, and the location was excellent. On the day, there was a huge traffic jam, but since I could walk, it was very helpful. The buffet included crab, freshly fried tempura, and delicious local sake, which I enjoyed. The small dishes were also tasty. However, the sashimi was not quite up to par, and the chairs were a bit low, making it hard to relax. The private bath was very easy to use, which was great. Each bath had its own unique style. The bath in the neighboring building had good amenities, and it was nice to be able to use it. Since I took several baths, I wished there were a few more towels. It was my first visit to the grand shrine, and I was satisfied with my stay here. Thank you very much. When visiting the shrine, I recommend it because you can enjoy both the bath and the food.

    Kamiari Festival

    It was my first time staying, and I was a bit nervous. Since my mother has difficulty walking, the parking space was prepared right in front, and the room was near the elevator with minimal movement required, which made her very happy. There were many small children around; it would be helpful if floors could be separated for a quieter environment. Especially being near the elevator, it can get noisy when children run around loudly. It was inconvenient that no hot water came out at the sink during morning face washing. During check-out, an inexperienced staff member took extra time and initially said payment had been completed but then called us back after we left—causing unnecessary trouble. Since I had already paid for accommodation online, I would prefer to prepay the Hot Spring Tax as well.

    The Room is comfortable, but the meals could be improved.

    Stayed in the Deluxe Triple. It's rare to find a room with three beds lined up, and the room layout and facilities were excellent. However, the buffet was underwhelming. It would be great if more effort was made to include local ingredients and drinks. Considering the price paid, travelers are looking for a local experience.

    This is the best!

    Always a relaxing and comfortable stay, no matter how many times we visit! We stay for two nights every year for our pilgrimage. Eat, soak in the bath, enjoy late-night ramen, have an ice cream, and sleep! It's simply the best! Looking forward to staying again next year.

    It was a lovely inn. Since it was raining, I appreciated the umbrella rental. The guest room was stylish, and I liked that there was a coffee mill. I recommend the free ramen at night. I was able to relax in the bath as well. I wish there had been a few more towels.

    The day I stayed, it was fully booked and crowded, but the staff had clearly defined roles, and everything went smoothly. I enjoyed delicious meals both in the morning and evening. Everything was tasty. The all-you-can-drink local sake was also available, and I was very satisfied. All the staff were pleasant, and despite the crowd, they were smiling, which I thought was wonderful. My impression of the hotel improved even more. It was worth the trip by plane from afar. I would like the night soba time to be improved and extended a bit. I was relaxing, but as it was close to the end time, I gave up.

    Satisfied with the buffet.

    The dinner schedule was divided into two sessions, at 5:30 PM and 8:00 PM. We planned for the 8:00 PM session and checked in around 6:20 PM, only to be informed that dinner would start at either 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM. We hurriedly took a bath and headed to the dining area. It might have been because it was a weekday, but I would have appreciated a bit more detailed guidance regarding the dinner start time. I was very satisfied with the buffet. The main dishes, such as sashimi, crab, steak, and tempura, were plentiful. I also thoroughly enjoyed the local cuisine. The replenishment was quick, and the all-you-can-drink option was a nice touch. The bath facilities were very satisfying, with not only a large public bath but also private baths available. The entire facility, including the rooms, was covered with tatami mats, making it comfortable to walk barefoot, and it was a very cozy inn. However, there were cobwebs on the ceiling in areas like the guest rooms and elevator hall, so it would have been even better if those finer cleaning details were attended to. Nonetheless, the facility was new, and the guest rooms were clean, which was satisfying. The staff's service was courteous, and I would like to visit this inn again.
