    Kindness

    Thank you for your hospitality once again. From the moment I entered the parking lot, I was treated with kindness, which was very helpful. The consideration for the room this time was also greatly appreciated. This is an accommodation I would definitely like to visit again.

    Dinner Time

    We traveled from afar and planned our schedule to visit Izumo Taisha. However, our flight was delayed, and lunch was pushed back. When we arrived at the hotel at 5:30 PM, we were told that only 5:30 PM or 5:45 PM dinner slots were available due to a group reservation. Considering the Kamiari Festival attracts many visitors, it would have been helpful if the dinner times had been communicated in advance or made reservation-based. With a set schedule, being told there are limited options after having a late lunch feels unreasonable. A simple notification during earlier phone calls could have resolved this issue. It’s frustrating and unpleasant. Since this is an annual event, improvements should be made—especially with a 90-minute dining limit. Feeling irritated like this makes it hard to enjoy visiting the shrine properly.

    Perfect for visiting the shrine

    It was wonderful to participate in the special shrine visit. The guidance from the Hotel staff was excellent, showcasing the reliable quality of Kyoritsu Resort. Although we couldn't use the private rock bath, we look forward to trying it next time. The amenities were minimal but sufficient, and everything necessary was provided. The entire facility was clean and lovely. One minor issue was that the in-room TV wasn't connected to a network.

    Reliable Kyoritsu Resort

    I was satisfied with choosing the Kyoritsu Resort in Hakodate again as it was great last time. It is comfortable to take off your shoes and spend time in tabi inside the Hotel. The Room was spacious and relaxing, and the meals were delicious.

    How about this?

    Amenities are available on the 1st floor for pickup, which might not be ideal as most Hotels and Ryokans provide them in the Room. The bath felt small and slightly lukewarm. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option during meals was around 1700 yen, but it’s unfortunate there wasn’t an option for those who only want a single beer. There was no Room guide provided, and the hallway directions were unclear, making it difficult to find the Room at first. However, the reception guidance was clear and helpful.

    Accommodation with Warm Hospitality

    Solo trip. I visited Izumo Taisha Shrine. The map didn’t show it clearly, but there is a gentle slope, and from an urban perspective, it’s quite a distance from the shrine when walking. Moving with a carry-on bag can be a bit challenging. The staff at the front desk and dining area were very attentive, making my stay pleasant. The buffet-style meals were lively and enjoyable as each dish was freshly prepared on-site. Younger guests might not mind, but the chairs everywhere are slightly low, and the futons (or beds?) are also quite low to the ground, which could be difficult for elderly guests or those with mobility issues like myself. The next morning, I walked to Taisha-mae Station since taxis were hard to reserve in advance. It seems easier to make reservations for longer distances though. It would be great if there was a shuttle service in collaboration with neighboring ryokans for transportation to the station. Unfortunately, shuttle services have become rare these days. Overall though, it was a pleasant stay at this wonderful hotel!

    Always amazing, no matter when you visit!

    Every year, we visit Izumo Taisha Shrine from here. Enjoy a private Onsen of your choice, savor delicious buffet meals in the morning and evening, sleep comfortably, and fully enjoy sightseeing the next day—truly perfect! You can also relax with authentic coffee in your Room while gazing at the quietly flowing waterway. Looking forward to staying again next year!

    Couple's Getaway

    We stayed at Tsukiyo no Usagi as our accommodation for a trip visiting Izumo Taisha, Matsue Castle, and the Adachi Museum of Art. The facility and room were clean, and the large public bath was comfortable to use. Although both dinner and breakfast were crowded with some waiting time, overall we had a pleasant stay. We would like to use this accommodation again if we visit this area in the future. Thank you very much!

    The whole family is completely satisfied.

    We had a wonderful stay during our trip back home with my parents. I chose this accommodation after hearing from my daughter, who had stayed at another hotel in the same group, that it was an excellent facility. The accommodation has a modern feel while maintaining a traditional Japanese style. Our room was a spacious "Four" room, fully equipped with beds and high-quality amenities (though we didn’t use them). Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, featuring fresh fish and meat cooked right in front of us... The entire family was extremely satisfied with this accommodation. If I had to mention one thing, the bath area felt slightly compact. However, the onsen water was incredibly soothing. There were plenty of chairs available for relaxing after bathing, making it easy to wait comfortably for others. It was such a lovely place that we would love to stay here again someday. Thank you very much!

    Overall impression of the accommodation

    - During breakfast, the fried chicken was undercooked, with a powdery coating. Undercooked chicken can cause food poisoning, so we showed the facility staff the actual dish and informed them. - During dinner, the tempura batter was generally powdery. - The hotel did not manage breakfast crowd control effectively. Despite assigning specific breakfast times, during later time slots when the venue was full and entry delayed, they stated that they would not extend the closing time. (Generally speaking, if guests cannot be accommodated due to overcrowding in a dining area, it is considered a planning or capacity miscalculation by the facility rather than an issue caused by guests.) Refusing to adjust closing times in such cases imposes undue inconvenience on guests and could be seen as causing significant contractual disadvantage. - The key case was broken; I happened to notice and retrieve the fallen key itself but could have easily missed it entirely. - Lack of clarity regarding payment methods at checkout—particularly concerning taxes—led to forced payment demands without proper explanation or agreement. While efforts seem focused on presenting facilities and decor attractively overall, there appears to be neglect of fundamental aspects such as food safety standards and compliance with credit card regulations. This impression aligns with previous experiences at "Kyoritsu Maintenance" properties; no noticeable improvements were observed this time either.

    This was my second stay.

    This was my second stay during heavy rain, and the staff handled everything so smoothly that I barely got wet. After leaving your footwear at the entrance, you can enjoy walking on tatami mats throughout the accommodation, making it a comfortable experience. The meals were just as excellent as last time, with a wide variety of delicious options. Overall, it was a highly satisfying stay. Being within walking distance of Izumo Taisha is an incredible advantage!

    Highly satisfied!

    This was my first time staying here. From the warm greetings and kind words upon arrival, I felt welcomed right away. Inside, every staff member greeted me with the same warmth and care! At the restaurant, I was amazed by everyone's attentiveness and thoughtful service. It was clear that all staff shared a strong commitment to excellent hospitality. The accommodation itself is spotless, with creative touches throughout. The private Onsen was also wonderful. The dinner buffet exceeded expectations, so I didn’t expect much from breakfast—but it turned out to be just as delicious as dinner! I stayed on a weekday, but there were many other guests as well. If I had to point out one minor issue, it would be that the restaurant floor felt a bit slippery when wearing tabi-style socks provided inside the facility. Thanks to such outstanding service, it seemed like other guests were equally satisfied too. Of course, my satisfaction rating is 5 stars—but if possible, I'd give 10! Thank you very much!

    The accommodation was beautiful, and the onsen was excellent. However, there were very few options for dinner that younger elementary school children could eat, which was a bit inconvenient. The desserts, however, were plentiful.

    Close to Izumo Taish...

    Close to Izumo Taisha, which was really convenient. The guest room had some hallway noise. Also, the on-site parking is limited, so car enthusiasts might be concerned. However, since we went with a regular car this time, it wasn't an issue. The service, meals, and facilities were great. It's an accommodation I'd like to visit again!

    It was excellent.

    This was our first time at this accommodation, and it was very nice, conveniently located near Izumo Taisha. The room was clean, the food was delicious, and the seafood was especially tasty.     Wonderful Accommodation

    Stayed for one night as a family of three. It was our first time staying here, and I was delighted that my family thought it was a great accommodation. Both the interior and rooms were exceptionally clean, with high-quality furnishings that felt luxurious—definitely worth more than the price. Our child seemed to enjoy the meals. I personally loved the firmness of the futon, which was just right for me. The onsen was also clean, and the water quality was excellent! This wonderful accommodation made our family trip even more memorable. Thank you very much! We would love to visit again if we have another opportunity to travel.

    We stayed as a family to visit Izumo Taisha early in the morning. The accommodation had many cute rabbits inside, which delighted the children. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The onsen was also very relaxing. Above all, the meals were so delicious that we ended up eating too much. We would love to visit again!

    Wonderful Accommodation

    We stayed at the accommodation for the first time during a family trip. The place was clean, and we were able to relax and enjoy our stay comfortably. The room amenities included coffee beans and a grinder, which made my coffee-loving parents very happy. The coffee was so delicious that it would be great if it could be turned into a product. The meals were buffet-style, and every dish was incredibly delicious. It became a memorable trip for us. We would love to come back again if we have the chance!

    Value beyond the price

    Stayed here after visiting Izumo Taisha. Although there were other accommodations I was interested in, I chose this one as it was more reasonably priced, and it turned out to be the perfect choice. The room, large public bath, facilities, and dining area were all clean. The buffet had a wide variety of dishes, all of which were delicious. I reserved a twin room but was upgraded to a deluxe twin since it was available—thank you! One downside is that the private baths are not reservation-based, so you can't use them if they're occupied. If you have time to spare, I recommend trying in the morning. After breakfast, four out of five baths were available when I checked.

    It was excellent. I would love to use it again and again.

    We stayed as a group of 10, including my brother's family and our parents. During our approximately 20-hour stay, we experienced exceptional hospitality at every turn and had a very comfortable time. The buffet meals, both dinner and breakfast, offered a wide variety of dishes that satisfied everyone. The location is also great, with Izumo Taisha Shrine within walking distance. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

    I had a relaxing stay. ○ Service: The front desk was efficient and excellent. I was impressed with their handling of forgotten items during checkout the next day. Thank you very much. However, the parking attendant seemed negligent. ○ Bath: It was disappointing that the private baths were always fully booked and unavailable for use. ○ Meals: The guidance and serving were prompt and satisfactory. - Dinner: Reasonable pricing, as expected. - Breakfast: A wide variety of options, and I enjoyed plenty of food. ○ Facility & Equipment: The building is clean and well-maintained. However, the parking spaces feel narrow and too small overall. ○ It was noisy but perhaps lively in a positive sense?

    I booked this accommodation as an affordable option to meet a friend living in Izumo. When I told my friend that I had made a reservation at Tsukiyo no Usagi, they mentioned having stayed there before and praised it as a great choice. They said the facility is very clean, the service quality is high, and all the staff are pleasant. Indeed, it was just as they described. One thing I noticed was that while the system of removing shoes upon entering is good, since I came wearing sandals without socks, it might be nice to have disposable slippers or tabi socks available at the entrance for cleanliness in the hallways. The tatami hallway was so clean that I felt conscious about walking on it during check-in.

    Overall, it was good, but...

    The hallway and room were both tatami-floored, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The room was clean and very comfortable to stay in. However, the private bath was not reservation-based, so it was often occupied when I went, and I couldn't use the bath I wanted. Even while in use, people repeatedly tried to open the door, which was unpleasant (there should have been an explanation beforehand that a lit lamp indicates it is in use, but some people may not have listened or understood). If it were reservation-based, guests could use their preferred bath without inconvenience or discomfort for others. I had been looking forward to enjoying the private bath, so this was very disappointing.

    This was a family trip to celebrate our adult children's birthdays and pray for good relationships. The location is within walking distance to Izumo Taisha, and the room for four was spacious enough for all of us to gather comfortably around one bed. The bright and clean room made our stay very pleasant. All four of us have different food allergies, but the detailed ingredient labels allowed everyone to enjoy delicious meals safely. We had access to two large public baths, and my son, who loves Onsen, also enjoyed several private baths, which made him very happy. On the second day, my spouse and I were able to attend an early morning prayer at Izumo Taisha. We would love to stay here again on our next visit! Additionally, three out of four of us have July birthdays, and we were delighted with the thoughtful gift of beautiful "En-bashi" chopsticks upon departure. Thank you so much for your warm hospitality!

    The staff's attentive service was excellent, and the seafood dishes were very delicious. However, the private bath operates on a first-come, first-served basis, requiring guests to wait in the hallway until the previous user finishes. It would be appreciated if a reservation system could be introduced for better management.

    I made a last-minute reservation. Since I came from far away, I checked in at 10:30 PM. The roads were very dark at night, and there were no taxis available, so I recommend checking in while it's still light out. I'll do that next time! Other than that, the onsen was relaxing and very satisfying. Being able to grind coffee beans and enjoy fresh coffee was exceptional! The ramen I had as a late-night snack was delicious! Thank you very much.

    Family Trip to Izumo

    We went on a family trip to Izumo by car and made a reservation through IKYU.com. It was our first time using the service, but we appreciated the discounts and found the Online Credit Card Payment convenient. The checkout process at the hotel was smooth, making it very convenient. We plan to use this service again for future trips. We stayed at Hotel "Tsukiyo no Usagi." The parking lot on-site was small and full, so we were directed to a nearby parking area, which was not an issue in terms of distance. At check-in, the front desk provided us with two room keys, which made it easier for men and women in our group to move around separately—this was very helpful. Their responses to other inquiries were also polite and satisfactory. The meals were buffet-style with delicious seafood that left us satisfied; however, the seating space at the dining tables felt slightly cramped. The Onsen baths were relatively small; if someone stretched their legs out in the tub, it became difficult for others to pass through. With five people bathing simultaneously, it could feel crowded. One of the two large public baths had an open-air bath attached. Both baths are available for use anytime during your stay. The private baths are available without reservations on a first-come-first-served basis; there are chairs placed outside where you can wait your turn comfortably while gauging how long you'll need to wait. If you want a more relaxed bathing experience, I recommend using one of their five private baths. The amenities met expectations—personally loved that they provided large-sized bath towels with great texture that enhanced post-bath satisfaction. Overall, as accommodation near Izumo Taisha Shrine, I’d rate its location 5 stars! While not everything about this hotel reached perfection or exceeded expectations entirely across all aspects—it still offered an enjoyable stay overall! My only slight dissatisfaction would be with regard specifically towards their Onsen facilities—but thanks largely due availability/accessibility options like private ones—it balances out into being quite satisfying altogether!

    At check-in, I asked the front desk various questions about sightseeing and city access, and they kindly provided thorough answers, which made me feel at ease. While answering questions might seem standard, it’s rare to meet staff who truly listen to your concerns and share in understanding what you’re uncertain about. Encountering such attentive staff made this trip especially delightful. Although taking off shoes initially felt a bit unusual, the hallways and elevator floors being entirely covered with "tatami" were gentle on my feet and allowed for a comfortable stay. However, in the restaurant area, there were spots where food or spilled liquids had made the floor wet, which felt concerning when walking barefoot or in socks.

    Comfortable space

    The facility is a no-shoes area, moderately bright, clean, and provides a comfortable space. The Room was cozy, and there are two large public baths as well as several private baths available without waiting. I would love to stay again.
