    Thank you for your warm hospitality.

    Throughout our stay, we truly appreciated the refreshing, genuine Japanese hospitality and attentive service. The meals were just the right amount for a couple in our 50s with lighter appetites, and being served in our Room while maintaining high quality was excellent. We were also grateful for the thoughtful support when we had an issue. Just before checkout, someone passing by even helped carry our luggage, which showed how well trained the staff are. The price was on the higher side, but we received service worthy of it and enjoyed a very fulfilling vacation.

    The front desk service was excellent. They kindly showed me every corner of the Room, which was very helpful. Breakfast was gentle on my stomach, and I really appreciated it.

    Hmmmm…

    All the staff were kind. However... I stayed in a Room with a private open-air bath, but since it was very cold, I went to the large public bath instead. There is no toilet in the changing room. There was a sign warning that there are no toilets beyond this point (like at a shrine), but normally there should be one inside! If you only notice after undressing, you have to get dressed again. The lockers in the changing room were also terrible: just an exposed wooden shelf with no lock and not even a basket, so you have to place your clothes directly on it. At least provide baskets. The open-air bath has been renovated and felt very clean. Also, the lighting in the Room was unusually dim. The Ryokan gave me an emergency light to use at night, and it really was too dark—even reading by the pillow wasn’t possible with that lighting. There is a Japanese-style room, but because the door is latticework, light leaks through and the air conditioner isn’t separate either, so I’m not sure what purpose the door serves. The concept is “Saio-no-Miya,” but that lattice door felt like something from an old brothel display window. Overall, unfortunately disappointing, and not an Accommodation I would want to return to. Sorry.

    Just average overall… not worth the price.

    About JPY 130,000 for a four-person Room. I expected high-end service, but there was almost nothing special. The overall Facility and the large public bath are shared with the neighboring Accommodation and feel old, with no renovations—only outdated facilities. The open-air bath in the large public bath looked like a makeshift fenced setup. The area by the private open-air bath is slippery; I saw someone fall. Only the in-Room bath and massage chair were good, but having a massage chair right next to the desk… The wallpaper and small items were dirty as well, making it far from a stylish, relaxing stay—just disappointing. Dinner was filling, but nothing besides the meat was tasty; it didn’t seem elaborate or heartfelt. It felt like a course meal at an inexpensive Japanese restaurant. Breakfast also had nothing that looked appealing. The white rice was mushy and clumped together, and I couldn’t finish the macaroni salad with its stale taste. We often stay at places around JPY 100,000 for family trips, but this was my first time being this disappointed. I think it would be better to make improvements—for example by hiring professionals.

    Wonderful hospitality!!

    We stayed here after visiting Ise Shrine on a trip to celebrate our wedding. During dinner, they took a photo of us with a cake, which became a wonderful keepsake. The attentive service was truly relaxing.

    The price doesn’t match the level of service.

    Honestly, it was just an overpriced Accommodation. Even when we pulled up to the entrance by car, no staff came out. The large public bath and the ReFa hair dryer were appealing, but it was a hassle having to bring all amenities from the Room (e.g., a comb and cotton swabs). The food didn’t taste very good either. I won’t be returning.

    Available during New Year's holidays

    This is my third time staying here. I love that I can enjoy meals in the room at my own pace. The bath makes me feel connected to nature. This is my favorite accommodation, and I am very satisfied!

    - I was surprised by the drum welcome upon arrival, but it added a special touch and was delightful. - The meals were incredibly delicious and visually stunning. Both breakfast and dinner were so satisfying that I regretted leaving any food behind. - The room bath was spacious enough for an adult to stretch out comfortably, offering a relaxing experience. It also seemed large enough for an adult to bathe with a young child, such as an elementary schooler. - The wooden amenities had an elegant charm fitting for Ise, and other items in the room were thoughtfully provided. - Free activities like Ise paper stencil making and shell matching games were enjoyable to do with children, keeping them entertained without boredom. - All the staff at the accommodation were very pleasant, allowing us to have a comfortable stay. - Shared coats were provided for moving between the annex and main building during cold weather—a thoughtful gesture that we appreciated. - The soap bubbles during our send-off were beautiful—thank you to all the staff for braving the cold weather! - The concept of this accommodation was well-reflected throughout every detail, which we found impressive. A few points that could be improved: - There was only one outlet near the bed; having additional outlets closer to each bedside would have been ideal. - Bed-making could be improved as there were noticeable wrinkles on the sheets which detracted from comfort slightly. - Since the bedding area is elevated with significant steps up or down, it might be challenging for elderly guests to use comfortably without assistance or modifications.

    The meals are excellent.

    The food was delicious no matter what we ate. It was a birthday trip for my partner, and they surprised us with a cake, which even surprised me. I was very happy. The Room was clean, and all the staff provided excellent hospitality. We would love to visit again during the next spiny lobster season. Thank you very much!

    Good or bad

    The room's dim lighting creates a nice atmosphere but makes it difficult to spend time comfortably. The in-room dining allowed us to enjoy our meal slowly and deliciously without worrying about others, and the preparation was smooth. However, it was disappointing that the warm dishes were slightly cold. The public bath was clean, and the open-air bath was enjoyable. Unfortunately, children were noisy and unruly, and group conversations were loud as well. It would be appreciated if there were designated hours for children's use. After arrival, I received information about massages and immediately tried to book one but found no availability. It would have been better if this had been communicated during the initial guidance; being turned down left me feeling unpleasant. I went for an early morning walk to Geku Shrine; the explanations provided during the event were enjoyable, making it a very pleasant experience. Despite paying a high accommodation fee at Saio-no-Miya, I was disappointed that the fitness gym required an additional charge—especially since no one seemed to be using it, which felt like a waste of resources.

    The price was too hi...

    The price was too high during the 3-day weekend, so I gave it 4 stars. I think I would be satisfied with the regular price. However, the bathroom in the Room wasn't great. Since it's outdoors, it might be unavoidable, but there were spider webs in several places and the bath net was dirty. A long piece of fabric was sticking out from under the bed, which made me wonder if they properly cleaned the Room.

    It was a good Room.

    The staff provided excellent and courteous service. However, the lounge snacks were limited, and it would have been better if there were more options. The meals were disappointing as they did not meet expectations for the price. It was inconvenient that the vending machines did not accept new banknotes.

    The Third Journey to Ise Road

    This accommodation was my first stay. It is located on a vast and quiet property, offering a luxurious atmosphere. Upon arrival at the car porch, we were warmly welcomed, accompanied by the sound of a gong. We received a detailed explanation and guidance to our room. The meals were delicious. Even the 30-something children who joined us were amazed by the variety of dishes but managed to finish everything because it was so tasty. We also received an unexpected surprise during our stay. Night snacks were even prepared for us, leaving our entire family surprised and grateful. The room was very comfortable, and we ended up changing our plans for the next day to stay until just before check-out time. I hope to stay here again someday!

    I had a very elegant stay.

    First, the room! It was fantastic with a jacuzzi and massage chair. Also, the meals were delicious and thoroughly enjoyable. As for the bath, I didn’t expect an Onsen, but there was one in the bathing area, which was a pleasant surprise. The best part of all was the service from the staff. From check-in to check-out, everything—including the bubble show—was exceptional!

    Completely satisfied.

    We stayed here for our 3rd wedding anniversary. The Facility and Room were clean, and the initial explanation was very thorough. Every dish we tried was delicious, and they prepared the cake we requested in advance, even taking a photo for us (which we received upon departure). Both my wife and I had an absolutely perfect day with no complaints at all. Thank you so much!

    Women-Only Plan

    The weather was bad that day, and I thought the open-air bath might be tough, but adding the bath salts provided in the room made it warm and cozy, allowing me to sleep soundly at night. The staff at the accommodation were kind and attentive, making my stay very comfortable. The amenities were impressive, as expected from a pearl-producing region! We were even sent off with soap bubbles at the end! I would love to stay here again.

    Recommended for those who want to relax.

    I was able to relax in the quiet Property. The service was polite, and everyone was very pleasant. Although the Hotel has a historical feel, and the Facility and interior are not new, it was clean, and the Room was beautifully renovated. The linens for the futon and towels were also clean. Perhaps to encourage a relaxing stay, the Room lighting was dim, but it would have been nice if it could be adjusted brighter with auxiliary lamps, etc. The meals were luxurious and delicious, so it would have been even better if there were more drink options. Personally, I wanted to have wine. I think this is the perfect Stays for those who want to relax and read books.

    We had the best visit to Ise Jingu Shrine.

    This time, I stayed with my family. When the nearest train arrival does not match the shuttle service schedule, we had no choice but to use a taxi, which was a bit disappointing. I thought this should be an important matter to notify in advance. To move to the large public bath, you have to go through the connecting corridor, but in winter, it was difficult to manage with just the room's yukata and haori due to the cold. The staff's hospitality was top-notch. We appreciated the surprises such as the "gong" ringing upon arrival, soap bubbles flying during the send-off, and "sanma sushi" served as a late-night snack. It's a hotel I would like to visit again.

    I enjoyed traveling alone.

    I stayed as a Stays for visiting Ise Shrine. The Room had a view of the autumn leaves in full bloom and an open-air bath, making it a very comfortable stay. The dining venue was also a counter, allowing me to enjoy it without worrying about those around me, even when alone. The meals were exquisite. I would like to visit with my family next time.

    It was a trip for three people using a wheelchair. It was a pity that my mother, who uses a wheelchair, couldn't go to the open-air Onsen. I wish the Room could also have an Onsen. The special drink Room was nice.

    I chose this property for a trip with my elderly mother, and we were completely satisfied with everything. I had informed them in advance that I would be bringing my elderly mother, and I am filled with gratitude for their various considerations. The meals were kaiseki cuisine, and I was worried about my mother leaving a lot of food, but thanks to the delicious and easy-to-eat dishes, we were able to enjoy everything without leaving much behind. The timing of the dishes was perfect, and I was impressed by the staff's agility. They answered our questions about rare ingredients earnestly, which was very pleasant. The interior was so clean that it didn't show its age, allowing us to spend a comfortable time. My mother, who had been saying this might be her last trip due to her age, mentioned wanting to come back here again next year. Both our hearts and stomachs were satisfied. Thank you very much.

    Wonderful experience

    We used it for an anniversary and refresh trip. Since it is advertised as an anniversary Stays, we received commemorative photos and a calendar. It became a wonderful experience that left a lasting memory. Initially, there was some concern because the Review ratings were divided, but we were very satisfied. As for the Facility and Room, perhaps due to its history, there is indeed a mix of new and old things here and there, but it is not inconvenient to the extent that it bothers you. The Room was spacious, and the Room I used had a massage chair, and I could watch YouTube on the TV, and if you have an account, you could also use Netflix, which was fulfilling. Amenities were also well-prepared, including packs and sheets for foot rest. However, I felt that the cleaning around the water area was a bit lacking, as there was mold on the ventilation fan. The outdoor open-air bath, being rich in nature, might have some people concerned about insects depending on the season. However, I felt it was wonderful to be able to enjoy a bath with the water temperature remaining warm for several hours. The meals were undeniably voluminous and the taste was exquisite. You could feel the chef's attention to detail, making it a wonderful experience. We even received a late-night snack, which made us really full. The customer service was the same, as we could feel the attentiveness and consideration of all the staff, making it a very relaxing trip. There was a Shuttle Service from the nearest station to the Hotel, so the travel was not too much of a burden. Also, we were able to easily visit the tourist attraction Ise Jingu as the Hotel provided Shuttle Service to it. It turned out to be a very wonderful trip to Mie, and we were very satisfied.

    I had a relaxing stay.

    Although it was a same-day reservation, we were welcomed with the sound of a gong upon arrival. The room had a canopy bed, a Japanese-style room, and a massage chair, making it a perfect room for relaxation. The open-air bath provided a relaxing time with a pleasant breeze. Meals were served in the room for both breakfast and dinner, with a tray, Matsusaka beef sukiyaki, and sashimi brought to us, allowing us to enjoy our meal leisurely without worrying about our surroundings. In the lounge on the first floor, you can enjoy coffee while reading the books available, or you can take them to your room, so you can spend your time without getting bored even if you arrive early. At checkout, a staff member was waiting as we got off the elevator and helped carry our luggage to the front desk. When leaving, we were sent off with soap bubbles in the parking lot, feeling the spirit of hospitality until the end. We were satisfied with both the facility and the service, but when entering the open-air bath, it seemed a bit difficult for elderly or shorter people due to the height. I thought it would be reassuring to have a step available. If given the opportunity, I would like to visit again.

    It was more than ideal.

    I booked this accommodation at the last minute for a pilgrimage to Ise with my daughter. The rate was without dinner, but it felt a bit expensive. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted at the car, had our luggage carried, and were welcomed with the sound of a gong, which was impressive. The front desk was calm, but there were two, making it a bit confusing; however, we were guided, so we knew where to go. The room was very spacious, equipped with an air purifier, and had all the amenities, which we gratefully used. The onsen was not available upon arrival due to facility reasons, and we could only use it late at night, so we only used the room bath this time. Even so, it felt like an open-air bath, and the bathtub was large, allowing us to soak comfortably, which was satisfying. The room had a massage chair, which my daughter and I took turns using, greatly reducing our fatigue. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes, but each was just a bite, making it the perfect amount. We were even seen off when departing by car, making our stay very pleasant. I would like to use this place again and would recommend it to my friends.
