It didn't feel as luxurious as expected for a high-end Ryokan.

As a newly opened hotel, expectations were high. The lobby offers a stunning ocean view, and the room provides a beautiful view of the Atagawa townscape. Meals are carefully prepared with attention to ingredients and feature creative touches, offering an exceptional take on traditional kaiseki cuisine. Every dish was delicious and highly satisfying. The service was excellent, especially the meticulous room service. However, amenities and room facilities were disappointing. While environmental considerations are appreciated, the amenities provided felt similar to those of a business hotel, which was underwhelming. Additionally, the door leading to the private open-air bath seemed old and difficult to open or close due to its narrow design; this could be challenging for women or elderly guests. Since there is no public bath available and frequent use of the private open-air bath is necessary, it would be better if wider doors that operate smoothly could be installed. Overall rating: 4 stars with hopes for future improvements.
