All good.

For the past 30 years, I have stayed at Onsen Ryokan more than 10 times a year. During my working years, it was difficult to stay on weekdays and I couldn’t secure a Reservation, but at last I was able to visit on a weekday and come to Gora Kadan for the first time. When choosing an Onsen Ryokan, I look for the atmosphere of the Accommodation, the quality of the hot spring water, the cuisine, and a high level of hospitality—and this stay was extremely satisfying. When reading Reviews, I sometimes see harsh comments; depending on someone’s expectations and an unfortunate incident by chance not aligning well, disappointing experiences can happen. Our stay this time was wonderful. We received service that conveyed the staff’s dedication and sincerity. While there is some aging of the Facility—as is natural for any Accommodation that isn’t newly built—it was not at a level that bothered us. Above all, the thorough cleanliness felt refreshing. We would definitely like to return.
