    It met my expectations!

    Stayed in the Deluxe Japanese-Western Room at Nonokaze Club with 3 people. We enjoyed the meals, Onsen, and fireworks over Lake Toya that we had been looking forward to. The hospitality was excellent in every situation. However, it was a bit disappointing that the Room was on the 2nd floor, so there were trees blocking the view, and it wasn't the scenery of Lake Toya and fireworks we had expected.

    The view is spectacular.

    I stayed at the Accommodation for 3 nights. I was looking for a Hotel with great views and an Onsen, and this place perfectly met my expectations. The Room, lobby, large public bath, and restaurant all offered stunning views of Lake Toya. On clear days, you can also enjoy a beautiful view of Mount Yotei. The breakfast and dinner buffets were visually delightful and featured many ingredients from Hokkaido, making them delicious. For guests on a Multiple Night Stay, they kindly provided an additional dish as a service, which was a thoughtful gesture. At the exclusive lounge for guests of this Accommodation, light snacks and drinks were available; I frequently used it after sightseeing or after enjoying the Onsen. From spring to autumn, fireworks are launched every night; they were impressive to watch. While you can see them from your Room as well, stepping outside allows you to feel the sound more vividly—highly recommended! As for suggestions: it would be nice if bath towels and face towels could be placed in the large public bath so that fresh ones could be used each time comfortably. At least increasing the number of face towels in the Room from one per person to two would be appreciated. Additionally, since the buffet menu remained almost unchanged over three days, some variation might help prevent guests on Multiple Night Stays from getting bored. The staff members were all kind and made my stay very pleasant. I would love to stay at this Hotel again!

    Magnificent

    I had a truly relaxing stay. The view from the panoramic bath was breathtaking, offering a one-of-a-kind experience while feeling the breeze from the lake. The meals were delicious, and the staff were cheerful and kind, making it a wonderful stay. I would love to stay again someday.

    A Truly Satisfying Journey

    Although the weather was occasionally drizzly, the lake fireworks we were looking forward to were held, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Hotel Facility. My wife and I talked about coming next year with our grandchildren and daughter’s family.

    Enjoy fireworks in T...

    Enjoy fireworks in Toya from the comfort of your Room. We visit once a year, usually in June or July. Each year, the satisfaction with the cuisine increases, and during our meal, we talked as a family about wanting to come back again within the year. While we don't say anything directly, seeing familiar staff members working hard makes us smile and think how quickly a year has passed. The excellent service and warm smiles leave a lasting impression. Thank you very much! The ReFa hair dryer was great; it made us want to purchase one ourselves. The only concern was the smell from the drain in either the bathroom or washroom area of our Room.

    Lake Toya View

    The room was on the 8th floor facing the lake. As you enter, the window offered a full view of the lake. At night, fireworks could be seen right below, which was very satisfying. The women's bath was spacious, and the open-air bath had a design that felt integrated with the lake, offering great views; however, it was disappointing to see many insects floating in it. For meals, both dinner and breakfast had an overwhelming variety of options. Unfortunately, there were no scallops available—perhaps because they were out of season.

    I would love to stay here again!

    This is my favorite hotel at Lake Toya. This time, I stayed for a girls' trip with my childhood friend. The room was spacious and clean, allowing us to relax comfortably. The dinner buffet menu seemed even better than when I stayed over a year ago. There were many seafood options, and just choosing what to eat was fun—we indulged ourselves and ate to our hearts' content. I used the open-air bath in the morning, and it was refreshing as I could go during a quiet time. Both the front desk and restaurant staff were friendly, the souvenir shop inside the hotel was enjoyable, and I appreciated being able to have drinks in the lounge. My friend and I agreed that we would come back again! Thank you for such an enjoyable stay this time!

    This was our first s...

    This was our first stay at the Nono-Fu Resort Club building to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday. We arrived an hour earlier than planned for check-in, but we were warmly welcomed and enjoyed a welcome drink in the club lounge. When asked if it was a special trip, I explained the occasion, and during dinner, we were surprised with a celebratory plate and flowers. Additionally, they took a commemorative photo for us, placed it in a photo frame, and delivered it along with a handwritten note from the staff member. My wife and I were deeply moved by this thoughtful gesture. If I may suggest one improvement, it would be to have more variety in the baths. Next year marks my 70th birthday, and I definitely hope to stay here again!

    We used the buffet restaurant "Le Vent" both in the morning and evening with our baby, and thanks to the kind support of the staff, we had an enjoyable time.

    Fireworks from the Room

    This time, we stayed at the Club Building. **Positive Points:** - It was nice to have two washing areas in the bathroom. - There are also two sinks, and the space is spacious. - The room has plenty of lighting, and the indirect lighting between the toilet and sink is stylish. - The dinner buffet offered seasonal dishes, local specialties, and a wide variety of options, which was satisfying. **Negative Points:** - Despite being an Onsen facility, there was no display about the spring quality (onsen water properties). - There were no instructions or explanations on how to adjust the temperature. - Shower caps and body towels were not provided. - We went to the dinner buffet right when it opened and got good seats; however, by the time we left, there was a long line forming. Perhaps due to this crowding, staff seemed rushed during our departure process. - For a Club Building stay, it would be nice if soft drinks were provided for free in addition to water in the refrigerator. - Although access to the lounge requires scanning your card on a sensor, since it's left open most of the time when many people enter at once, it seems difficult for staff to monitor properly. Overall though, we had a satisfying experience with an impression that young staff members are working hard!

    The staff service is excellent.

    It’s been two and a half months since my last visit. The first time I came, the hospitality was exceptional, so I decided to return. The room, service, staff's attentiveness, and cleanliness of the Onsen are all excellent. If I may suggest, it would be even better if such a spacious room had at least two semi-double beds instead of single beds.

    The parking lot is far away.

    Despite arriving before check-in time and seeing available parking spaces in front of the Hotel, I was directed to park at a lot about 5 minutes away. When I asked why, I was told it was reserved for disabled guests and those with pets. While I understand prioritizing disabled guests, it made me wonder if there were really that many pet owners staying. However, during my stay, I didn’t see anyone with pets. It felt like preferential treatment based on appearances. It’s unfortunate because the Facility and meals were excellent otherwise. Additionally, it was slightly inconvenient that there were no baskets or bags provided to carry towels or clothes to the Onsen Facility.

    Looks great...

    The rooms were nice, but it was a bit disappointing that the elevator from the guest rooms doesn't go to the rooftop public bath. Also, there seemed to be fewer options for fresh sashimi. Other than that, I was satisfied.

    This was my first time using this accommodation. Although I was looking forward to it, the rainy weather dampened my spirits. However, when I entered the room, I found it included an onsen, which was different from my reservation. Upon checking, I learned that it was upgraded as a celebration for our stay. My husband and I were overjoyed and our mood instantly lifted. There were other surprises as well, and honestly, this is the first hotel where we experienced such exceptional hospitality. Above all, every staff member's service was outstanding; each person seemed to have a high level of customer service awareness. Although we initially thought an onsen in the room wasn't necessary because of the great view of Lake Toya, being able to take a bath anytime we wanted turned out to be amazing. The lounge was very comfortable and we used it multiple times. The buffet dishes were all delicious; if anything could be improved slightly, perhaps the rice could be softer and the hairdryer in the room felt a bit heavy. Overall though, this is truly an excellent hotel where we had a very comfortable stay. We would love to use this accommodation again in the future! Thank you so much!

    This is my favorite Onsen facility.

    This is my favorite Onsen Facility, just a little over a two-hour drive from home. The Onsen is mild, but the spa, large public bath, open-air “sky” bath, meals, Room, and service are all excellent. In particular, the male staff at the start of the new fiscal year were cheerful and full of energy. For guests who arrive excited and looking forward to their stay, being welcomed with pleasant hospitality from the moment you arrive is truly appreciated. As a senior guest, I especially like the Japanese-Western style Room just below the spa. The step at the entrance where you remove your shoes is helpful and makes it my preferred Room. It rarely appears as an available Plan, which is a bit disappointing. Also, one of the women at the shop was rather cool in her manner. The buffet meals also show thoughtful creativity with both classic dishes and seasonal ingredients; the seasonal items were beautifully arranged in neat rows. Over the past few years in particular, everything has become noticeably more delicious. A month without fireworks can be nice sometimes too—I was able to enjoy the large public bath, mist sauna and cold plunge pool, and open-air “sky” bath without worrying about time. Thank you very much.

    I stayed at the accommodation at the end of March. It coincided with the 25th anniversary of Mount Usu's eruption, and I checked in after experiencing the geopark. Although I thought I might be less impressed since I had enjoyed Midori no Kaze Resort the day before, that was not the case at all—I became a fan of Nonokaze. Being in Toya, there were some international guests, but it wasn’t overwhelming, and I was able to relax comfortably. At Nonokaze Club, not only was there post-bath beer but also excellent snacks. After dinner, they even offered cup ice cream worth over 300 yen from their shop. The next morning, I enjoyed a fruit platter and yogurt with red honey alongside delicious coffee until check-out. Above all else, I was deeply moved by their hospitality. At check-in, they gave our elementary school-aged children a bag of snacks since most lounge food catered to adults. They also kindly approached us whenever we seemed unsure about something, allowing us parents to relax as well. Even after returning home, my entire family agreed that we’d love to visit again—it was truly an exceptional experience!

    It was excellent.

    Despite being a large hotel, the staff's service is excellent. They are not just following a manual but respond flexibly while keeping the basics in mind. This was my second stay, and their service did not disappoint. From welcoming us at the car, check-in, room guidance, attentiveness at the dining venue, to their farewell greetings when leaving—everything was pleasant. In terms of facilities, we were lucky with good weather and enjoyed the rooftop open-air Onsen immensely. Usually, there are small things like water pressure in showers or the number of Onsen options that could be improved at other places—but here, everything was perfect. Both hardware and software aspects are outstanding. With fireworks festivals starting from April, I definitely want to visit again!

    About Nonokaze Toya

    I stayed at this accommodation for the first time in about 10 years. The room was clean, and the staff, including those at the front desk, were very attentive. The bath and meals were excellent, and I was highly satisfied. Since my room did not have a private bath, it would be great if all rooms had bathtubs. The exclusive lounge was also excellent in terms of service. I felt it was on par with or even better than Boro Noguchi. It’s an accommodation I would love to visit again.

    It was great.

    This is my fifth visit, as I use this accommodation once a year. The dining experience at the restaurant where I could eat with my dog was excellent, but it was quite noisy due to a group of guests. While this is understandable, some background music would have been nice. Other than that, it’s an excellent accommodation. I do wish there were more spaces where dogs are allowed.

    Every aspect of the Hotel is of high quality.

    The feeling of having the magnificent winter scenery of Lake Toya and Mount Yotei all to yourself while relaxing in the heavenly open-air bath is amazing! The buffet meals were all very delicious, and I had a blissful time. I think the various drinks and sweets in the service lounge are also top-notch. Personally, I was impressed by the draft beer mug that quenched my thirst after the bath!

    High hospitality including meals.

    I have used this place many times and am always very satisfied with my stay. This time, the quality of the food was very good, and even the small sauces and dressings for the appetizers were full of ideas and delicious, showing that they were served with care. There are many dishes using fresh and delicious ingredients from Hokkaido, and even though I live in Hokkaido, I find them to be professional dishes that are difficult to make at home. I confidently recommend the meals here to my friends outside of Hokkaido. The consideration of the staff is truly commendable. During a casual conversation with the staff on the way to the room, I mentioned my dog's birthday and my husband's birthday, and received a very pleasant surprise, making it a memorable occasion. For a Multiple Night Stay, a small pot dish is prepared at the table on the second night. All the staff, including the foreign staff, are very hardworking, polite, efficient, and have a wonderful smile, leaving a great impression. Around dinner time on the second night, the boiler in the large public bath broke down, and the bath was closed for a short time, but during that time, there was a polite explanation of the situation in three languages (Japanese, English, Chinese). They offered a Shuttle Service to a nearby Onsen for those who wanted to bathe immediately, which felt sincere. The next morning, at the entrance of the restaurant, the staff apologized for the inconvenience caused the previous night and offered special salmon roe, so everyone was happy to have a seafood bowl with salmon roe from the morning. Even with the accident, the proper explanation, response, and follow-up care made me feel that this is a very reliable Hotel with appropriate judgment. I look forward to repeating my stay in the future.

    The infinity Onsen was wonderful.

    The view of Lake Toya from the large public bath was simply amazing. The lounge was well-equipped, and the draft beer after the bath was very delicious. Unfortunately, there were many groups of foreign guests, and their manners at the buffet were poor, which was unpleasant.

    We used this place for our wedding anniversary, and the service was courteous when we inquired by phone beforehand. On the day, we were delighted by the thoughtful gesture of not only receiving a dessert plate but also being gifted a framed photo. The bath and meals were, of course, excellent, but we also enjoyed a relaxing time as light snacks and alcohol were offered in the lounge! We are very satisfied with this memorable trip!     I chose this hotel to enjoy the beautiful views of Lake Toya and Mount Yotei. From the entrance to the lobby, lounge, and restaurant, the staff greeted us with smiles, making it a memorable stay. From check-in to entering the room, we enjoyed coffee in the lounge while watching the cruise ships on Lake Toya, and from the room, we could slowly admire Mount Yotei bathed in the sunset. Both dinner and breakfast were buffets featuring delicious Hokkaido specialties! The steak from the live kitchen at dinner was incredibly delicious. I also appreciated the availability of decaffeinated coffee with dessert. For breakfast, the freshly squeezed apple juice, delicious Hokkaido milk and milk sweets, and freshly made cheese omelets were exquisite. The room amenities were also excellent. Not only the living room but also the beautiful view from the washroom was impressive! Even after checking out in advance, we could enjoy drinks in the lounge while waiting for the shuttle bus (Reservation required). The shuttle bus was very comfortable, allowing us to enjoy the magnificent scenery of Hokkaido until the end. I definitely want to visit again!

    The view from the open-air bath in the sky was truly amazing. I was happy to experience Showa no Yu, as I wanted to try a Japanese public bath. The service from all the staff was also excellent. I definitely want to visit again.

    As always, the large public bath is excellent.

    I have stayed here several times, and with high expectations, I used the Nono Kaze Club building for the first time this time. However, after staying at both, I realized that although this is a facility where the mid-high price range resort building and the high price range club building are integrated, the staff members do not seem to be divided, and this impact is clearly evident. For example, in the very high price range Boro series, you can receive "as expected" service, but here, everyone seems to be extremely busy and overwhelmed. As a result, there are inevitably parts where customer service cannot be fully attended to. This might not be an issue for resort building guests, but it seems to have a significant impact on the club building's customer service. Years have passed since the opening, and every industry is struggling with a common labor shortage, so I think this is a critical time. However, to be honest, the service this time did not match the price. I don't think I will revisit. That said, as mentioned at the beginning, the large public bath is wonderful, and the food is delicious, so if you can overlook the service aspect and want a room with a bath, using the club building is an option. Otherwise, if you purely want to enjoy the onsen, choosing the resort building might be a good choice.

    It can't be helped.

    I have stayed in pet-friendly rooms several times, but this was the first time I could hear the barking of the dog next door quite clearly, which was a bit concerning. I guess the responsibility also lies with the users. Since the room was on the first floor, it was located below the dining area, so the noise was a bit noticeable. The TV in the room seemed too small. Overall, I think it's good enough to use multiple times. It would be much better if there was a door between the entrance and the room.

    The equipment in the Room is outdated.

    Room: The facilities are old, and there are many stains on the bed. Since we stayed with three people, we had an extra futon laid out, but it seemed haphazardly done, and the sheets were not properly arranged at all. When we stayed last year, it wasn't this bad... Parking: We arrived early, but for some reason, we couldn't park in the hotel front parking lot and were directed to a distant location, and we had to park by ourselves. The people who arrived after us were able to park right in front of the hotel. Why? Last year, the staff moved the car for us... I kept thinking about it and felt a bit upset. The explanation about the car at checkout was also different. A Japanese staff member told us at departure that they would bring the car from the parking lot, but an overseas staff member told us to bring the car ourselves from the shuttle service.

    I am impressed by the staff's thoughtfulness.

    This was my second stay. This time, we used the property for a family celebration of a 60th birthday. The staff's thoughtfulness was truly appreciated, and we were able to spend a wonderful time with our family. We chose French cuisine for dinner and a buffet for breakfast. All the ingredients were locally sourced, and the meat, vegetables, and dairy products were truly delicious. There were many overseas guests due to the recent inbound tourism, but it was not particularly noisy, and we were able to relax. I would love to visit Nonokaze Resort (Nonokaze Rizōto) again!

    Last day in Hokkaido

    I chose this hotel because I wanted to watch the fireworks right in front of Lake Toya! I was able to use the lounge, and the view of the fireworks from the open-air bath was amazing! The hotel staff were courteous, and I had a pleasant stay. However, the disappointing part was when I checked out and got on the shuttle bus to the parking lot, I had to load my luggage onto the bus myself and unload the heavy suitcase myself when getting off. When I arrived, the staff came to help me... The driver should have gotten off to support. I think it would be difficult for elderly people to unload luggage from such a high bus. Other than that, it was an excellent hotel!
