The food is exceptionally delicious.
We made a Reservation looking forward to the cuisine. We were told there were three types of Onsen baths in the building and that we could also use the baths at other facilities, but unfortunately we weren’t able to go elsewhere. From the appetizers onward, we thoroughly enjoyed the creative Japanese dishes as a couple—melting tuna nakaochi, piping-hot black flounder tempura, Yamagata beef and eggplant with tomato and ginger vinegar, an incredibly sweet corn mousse, sea bream chazuke made with specially cultivated rice, and dessert—until we felt completely full. We would love to visit again and take our time enjoying the hot springs as well.

We were delighted to read that you came looking forward to our cuisine and that you and your spouse thoroughly enjoyed everything—from tuna nakaochi, black flounder tempura, and Yamagata beef to corn mousse, sea bream chazuke, and dessert. Thank you as well for describing each dish so thoughtfully; it is a great encouragement to our kitchen team. We are sorry to hear that you were not able to visit the baths at our sister property this time.
