Excellent access, a historic building, and outstanding service.
I stayed at The Tokyo Station Hotel as a base for early morning outings, a place I had been considering for some time. The location was excellent, and I was able to fully enjoy the excursions I had planned on both days. I had visited the restaurant many times and already knew how pleasant the atmosphere was, but staying overnight impressed me anew with its modern yet classic design. All of the staff were welcoming and attentive. I would like to return again.

A distinctive hotel next to Tokyo Station where you can enjoy classic charm
I booked seven months in advance, but many rooms were already taken, so I stayed in a Classic Superior Twin without a view. The room itself had high ceilings, a separate toilet, and a spacious bathroom, making it very comfortable. Since the room was far from the elevator, I got lost a few times along the long corridors, but it became a good memory along with the hotel’s classic atmosphere.

I stayed here to att...
I stayed here to attend a concert at Opera City. This time I had a room without a view, but it was more than sufficient for a solo stay. Thank you for extending my check-out until 1:00 PM as a Diamond member benefit. Thanks to that, I was able to enjoy coffee and delicious cake in the lounge and spend a relaxing time. I’m looking forward to my next stay.

Long time no see.
I came to Tokyo this time accompanying my husband. After exchanging emails with the hotel, we learned that someone could meet us on the platform at Tokyo Station. At first my husband said he felt embarrassed, but then he remembered his knee pain and said it was a huge help to be met and taken to the hotel by the shortest route. If it had just been the two of us, it probably would have taken much longer. Thank you very much. If this service is available next time as well, we would like to request it again. I also dined alone at the restaurant, and the staff were very attentive, which allowed me to enjoy my meal at a relaxed pace.

Everything meets my expectations.
I stayed for one night starting Saturday, October 10. From reception onward, the service was truly pleasant. Every staff member carried themselves with grace. Even on the way to the room, I was excited by the beautifully decorated corridors and walls. The room itself was wonderful, and I was very satisfied. Breakfast was served in a bright space filled with natural light, and the food was delicious—my stay flew by. As a coffee lover, I would have liked to be able to refill my cup freely on my own. I strongly hope to visit again.

You’ll want to stay here again.
This was my third stay, and this time I stayed in a Classic-type room. The room is compact with high ceilings, but it didn’t feel cramped. As always, the staff were wonderful and made my stay very comfortable. Breakfast was also delicious. I’d like to stay in a different room type next time as well.

This time.
Thank you very much for upgrading our room as we are an Ikkyu Diamond member. I’m sorry for calling from the room to confirm, as I couldn’t tell the difference. Late at night, we heard a loud rumbling sound coming from below—was that a train? It concerned us, so if we stay again, we would like to request a room where this can be avoided. All of the staff were polite and wonderful. However, we had in-room dining (breakfast, and pizza and tuna marinated chirashi sushi for dinner), and honestly it felt disappointing for a hotel of this level. That said, the pickles served on the side were outstanding—so good that I’d love to have them again. I even thought rice and pickles alone would have been enough. The tea (including decaf) also paired well with milk. Next time, I’d like to try the breakfast buffet.

A hotel you should stay at at least once
I have stayed here several times, and once again had a wonderful experience. The room, service, and meals were all excellent. This was my first time staying in a room overlooking the Marunouchi Plaza, and I enjoyed breathtaking views that were different from the Dome side. Each stay brings new discoveries, while the core service and hospitality remain consistently outstanding—always relaxing and comforting. It’s a hotel you’ll want to return to again and again once you’ve stayed.

Overall I’m basicall...
Overall I’m basically satisfied, but compared with before there are a few things that concern me. 1) Amenities: In the past, shampoo and similar items were in single-use individual bottles, but now they are wall-mounted dispensers like those in business hotels. 2) Meals: Compared with before, it feels a bit lacking in various ways. Without the made-to-order omelet, it feels like there’s no real “main” item. Given that this is not a cheap hotel and the rates go up every year, I’d like to see a bit more of a luxury feel. *I couldn’t remove the amenities star rating; I actually want to rate it 4 stars.*

Staying in the Marun...
Staying in the Marunouchi station building of Tokyo Station is truly a one-of-a-kind experience—this alone says it all. The moment you step away from the bustling station, you enter a quiet, serene world. This time I booked a Dome View room, and the stay while looking out over the ticket gates left a strong impression on me. Walking around the hotel, there are exhibits throughout that let you feel the history of Tokyo Station, and simply viewing them made for an incredibly fulfilling time. The guest room is on the smaller side compared with the average modern luxury hotel, but I felt that everything else more than made up for it. I was deeply impressed by the attentive service and meticulous hospitality—something different from international chain hotels. I am truly grateful to all of the staff for taking such great care of me during my stay. Dining in The Atrium is also a wonderful memory. With its open atmosphere and excellent offerings, I have had breakfast at many hotels before, but this was one of my most memorable experiences.

I’ll definitely come again.
It was truly wonderful—far beyond our expectations. The Palace View alone would have been enough, but the high ceilings, the spotless and stylish room details, the breakfast that exceeded its reputation, and above all the kind, attentive, and cheerful service from every member of staff were outstanding. We’ve already decided to stay here again on our next trip to Tokyo. The only dilemma is which room type to choose.

Still the best.
I often visit this hotel for meals, but this was only my second stay. Despite its historic exterior, the interior feels modern, with beautiful design and impressive high ceilings. It is surprisingly quiet for a hotel inside a station, and the grand doors and long, silent corridors have a unique charm. The marble used throughout also adds to the sense of elegance. Above all, the service is outstanding—every staff member is friendly and attentive, reminding me of what makes Japanese hospitality so special. Finally, breakfast is truly excellent: high quality across the board, with each Western and Japanese dish delicious in its own right. I was also impressed by both the quality and generous selection of fruit and sweets. Needless to say, access to the station is unbeatable, and I would love to return again.

A Short Getaway Just to Enjoy the Hotel
It was a one-night solo stay. As a Diamond member benefit, I received a room upgrade and enjoyed the spacious feel of the high ceilings. What stood out most was the bed linen—its perfect balance of thickness and softness felt wonderful against my skin, and I fell asleep almost instantly. Gazing at the skyline of towering buildings outside the window, I relaxed in a soothing quiet. With delicious sweets and tea, it truly felt like another world. Thoughtful and attentive service.
I stay here from time to time, and I’m very satisfied that the staff properly shared and remembered my requests from previous stays. The breakfast is excellent. If I had to mention one thing, since there’s a gym, I’d appreciate having a coin laundry for guests like me who want to do laundry.

We had a wonderful time.
The Tokyo Station Hotel—my long-time dream. I had an unforgettable, wonderful stay. The room was beautiful, spotless, with a great view and very comfortable to spend time in. Excellent amenities, an incredibly comfortable bed, and pajamas that felt great to wear. A bright, spacious, immaculate bathroom with a large bathtub. The calm quiet throughout the hotel, and the warm smiles and gentle presence of the staff whenever we passed each other— everything was outstanding. The staff’s smiles, professionalism, and choice of words were all exceptional. From the room I could look straight down Gyoko-dori Avenue, and thanks to excellent soundproofing it was so quiet that I could truly relax. In the early morning after the rain let up, I took a walk from Marunouchi toward the Imperial Palace—an otherworldly space where I didn’t meet anyone. I had that peaceful silence all to myself. I was able to spend a relaxed time right up until checkout. The building, the interiors, and the people were all wonderful. A luxurious and special experience that left me feeling enriched. I’m filled with gratitude. Thank you very much.

Reliable and secure
Thank you very much for all your thoughtful support. We had another wonderful stay. Here are a few points I noticed: - I would like to see more room service options. - During a multi-night stay, housekeeping once came in while we were out at breakfast… That was very inconvenient. - The milk tea in the lounge is incredibly delicious. - For multi-night stays (with a breakfast-included plan), I would like to be able to choose between the buffet, lounge breakfast, and room service. When staying multiple nights, the buffet selection is almost the same each day and I get tired of it (though it’s very delicious). There can also be quite a wait, so having the lounge or room service as an option when short on time would be very helpful. That’s all. I will stay with you again. It’s a hotel where you can feel at ease, and I recommend it.

Silver Wedding Anniversary
We had a wonderful time. We visited to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. Your warm welcome was truly comforting and healing. Although there was heavy rain due to a typhoon, the location and convenience were excellent. We’ve decided together that we will definitely come back for our 50th wedding anniversary. Not only is the location convenient, but I was also impressed by how attentive and helpful the staff were.
This was our third stay as a couple. There are many staff members, and everyone greets guests with a smile and polite language, which always makes us feel comfortable. The guest rooms have high ceilings and are bright, clean, and very pleasant—we really love them. The turndown service was also handled efficiently and carefully by Japanese staff. At breakfast in the atrium, it felt like the busiest it has ever been, but with plenty of staff on hand we were able to eat smoothly and comfortably. While we were taking photos, a female international staff member kindly asked, “Would you like me to take your photo?” We didn’t request anything specific, but she took one photo from the front and another from slightly off to the side so that the atrium ceiling was included—both turned out wonderfully. It was a moment when we truly felt their spirit of hospitality. Thank you very much. We will definitely stay again.

A Tokyo Station Stay Instead of a Summer Vacation
In the sweltering midsummer heat, I found myself staying in more often. Since I worked straight through with no Obon holiday, I decided to splurge on a one-night stay at The Tokyo Station Hotel. The hotel itself is truly wonderful, but I enjoyed much more than just exploring the property—dining at my favorite spots in Marunouchi, visiting museums around Tokyo Station such as the Tokyo Station Gallery, and taking an early-morning stroll around the station plaza when it was almost empty. I made the most of my one night. I was especially happy to be upgraded to a Dome-side room, which meant I could spend right up until checkout watching people come and go through the window. And above all, the guests-only Atrium breakfast buffet! I focused on the Western selection centered around a fluffy omelet. There were so many options that even sticking to Western dishes, there was no way I could try everything. How many nights would it take to conquer it all—including Japanese dishes? (Haha) It had been quite a while since I last stayed at a hotel in central Tokyo, but it turned out to be an even more fulfilling stay than expected. I’ll work hard so I can come back again.

The Only Disappointment
Although it rained, we still had a pleasant stay. However, there was one truly disappointing issue, exactly as the title suggests—and it happened at the breakfast buffet, which is one of this hotel’s highlights. I ordered an omelet from my table using my smartphone, but my companion—who had gone to order in person even earlier—never received theirs. After we noticed that omelets for guests who arrived later were already being delivered to their tables, we informed a staff member. They brought it right away—almost too quickly—but the omelet was completely dried out around the edges and had hardened into an unnatural shape. Of course, it was cold as well. I have never been served such a dried-out omelet at a hotel breakfast before. I chose not to mention it on the spot because I didn’t want to create an awkward atmosphere, but I wanted to share this feedback. It’s very disappointing that someone brought out such an over-dried omelet without noticing—and that the chef likely served it that way as well.

Dream Hotel
This was a Hotel I had wanted to stay at for a long time. The Room had high ceilings, luxurious furnishings, and well-stocked amenities. The view of the station from the window was even better than expected. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and it was a shame I couldn’t try them all. If I have the chance, I would love to stay at this Hotel again. Of course, the staff’s warm smiles and service were wonderful as well.

I stayed in the Mais...
I stayed in the Maisonette Suite. The room had a distinctive character, and the welcome amenities—such as fruit, flowers, and sweets—were plentiful, making for an overall enjoyable stay. On the other hand, I felt there was room for improvement in some details, such as unclear minibar information, preparation of certain amenities, and staff awareness of guest information when handling phone calls. I was satisfied with the room itself, but for a high-priced suite, I would expect more consistent attention to service details throughout.

I stayed in the Ambassador Suite. The room itself and the unique setting inside Tokyo Station are appealing. However, there were multiple cleaning issues, including water stains on the sink, dust on the artwork and the top of the headboard, and dirt on the glass table. After my stay, I contacted the Hotel to confirm, and they responded that the condition of this room was far below their standards and completely unacceptable. In addition, no welcome amenities were provided. Because my previous stay was very good, this time was extremely disappointing. At this point, I am not considering returning.
