A Hotel you’ll remember for the next 100 years.
I believe that a truly good Hotel is one where the staff treat both loyal guests and first-time visitors with kindness, offering thoughtful care tailored to each individual. At The Tokyo Station Hotel, there were many staff members who provided exactly that kind of attentive hospitality. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. I would like to express my sincere gratitude. I also have friends who have long said they would like to stay there, so Reviews like this are very helpful—but I would also love to recommend it the old-fashioned way, by word of mouth.

A Tokyo Station Stay Instead of a Summer Vacation
In the sweltering midsummer heat, I found myself staying in more often. Since I worked straight through with no Obon holiday, I decided to splurge on a one-night stay at The Tokyo Station Hotel. The Hotel was truly wonderful, and beyond exploring inside, I fully enjoyed my one night—dining at my favorite spots in Marunouchi, visiting museums around Tokyo Station such as the Tokyo Station Gallery, and taking an early-morning stroll around the station plaza when it was almost empty. In particular, thanks to an upgrade to a dome-side Room, it was great to spend time right up until checkout watching people come and go through the window. And best of all: the guest-only Atrium breakfast buffet! I focused on the Western selection with a fluffy omelet as the main dish. There were so many options that even sticking to Western dishes alone, there was no way I could try everything. How many nights would it take to conquer them all—including Japanese dishes? (lol) It had been quite a while since I last stayed at a Hotel in central Tokyo, but it turned out to be an even more fulfilling stay than expected. I’ll work hard so I can come back again.

Just One Regret
Although it rained, we still had a great time. However, there was one truly disappointing thing, exactly as the title says—and it happened at the breakfast buffet, which is one of this Hotel’s highlights. I ordered an omelet from my table using my phone, but my companion—who had gone to order in person even earlier—never received theirs. After we saw that guests who arrived later had already been served at their tables, we informed a staff member. They brought it right away—almost too quickly—but the omelet they delivered had completely dried-out egg around the edges, hardened into an unnatural shape. It was also fully cold. I have never been served such a dried-out omelet at a Hotel breakfast before. I chose not to complain on the spot because I didn’t want to create an awkward atmosphere, but I wanted to let you know. It’s very disappointing that someone brought and served such an omelet without noticing—and that the chef likely sent it out as well.

Dream Hotel
This was a Hotel I had wanted to stay at for a long time. The Room had high ceilings, luxurious furnishings, and well-stocked amenities. The view of the station from the window was even better than expected. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of dishes, and it was a shame I couldn’t try them all. If I have the chance, I would love to stay at this Hotel again. Of course, the staff’s warm smiles and service were wonderful as well.

I stayed in the Mais...
I stayed in the Maisonette Suite. The room had a distinctive character, and the welcome amenities—such as fruit, flowers, and sweets—were plentiful, making for an overall enjoyable stay. On the other hand, I felt there was room for improvement in some details, such as unclear minibar information, preparation of certain amenities, and staff awareness of guest information when handling phone calls. I was satisfied with the room itself, but for a high-priced suite, I would expect more consistent attention to service details throughout.

The room is charming, but there are concerns about how the suite is managed and presented.
I stayed in the Ambassador Suite. The room itself and the unique setting inside Tokyo Station are appealing. However, there were multiple cleaning issues, including water stains on the sink, dust on the artwork and the top of the headboard, and dirt on the glass table. After my stay, I contacted the Hotel to confirm, and they responded that the condition of this room was far below their standards and completely unacceptable. In addition, no welcome amenities were provided. Because my previous stay was very good, this time was extremely disappointing. At this point, I am not considering returning.

A wonderful hotel where you can stay near Tokyo Station
Staying at the Tokyo Station Hotel had been a long-held dream, and it was even more wonderful than I imagined. From our Dome-side room, we could watch the flow of passengers coming and going through the ticket gates, and enjoy unique features of Tokyo Station such as the original brick walls preserved since its construction. Despite its rich history, not only the guest room but also the corridors and shared areas were impeccably cleaned—beautiful, spotless, and truly impressive. The staff’s service was also outstanding, allowing us to enjoy a flawless stay. The bathroom was spacious and relaxing, and breakfast was delicious as well. We stayed to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and we were deeply touched by the warm hospitality—preparing a commemorative gift for us and taking photos to present as a keepsake. Thank you for giving us such wonderful memories.

This stay coincided ...
This stay coincided with torrential, warning-level rain, but it was such a fulfilling visit that we almost forgot about it.<br> Breakfast impresses us every time. The katsu sandwich was made with freshly fried cutlet, and that alone would have been enough to satisfy us.<br> There was Japanese-style curry, so we enjoyed it not only with rice but also by adding somen noodles—sometimes with akamoku as well. With so many options, you can enjoy countless combinations.<br> We already have a Reservation for December, and we look forward to staying again.

A unique Room experience at Tokyo Station, paired with a delicious breakfast in that special space
When staying at the Station Hotel, I always choose a Dome-side Room. This time I stayed with my daughter. I’ve had the “world’s best breakfast” at the Kitano Hotel in Kobe, but I think the breakfast here surpasses it. My daughter was very satisfied as well. The flower arrangements displayed in the hallway have great taste, and I look forward to them every time. I’ll be back after the New Year with my husband, and again with friends.

Exceptional hospitality
After missing my connection due to a flight delay, I ended up staying here for one night at short notice. Exhausted from the long journey, I was truly grateful that a staff member immediately helped with my luggage; after a kind check-in at the front desk, the same person escorted me to my Room with my bags. The Room is compact, but the bedding and towels were high quality and very comfortable. That evening, just as I was about to go out for dinner, it started raining; the concierge noticed right away and brought me an umbrella, which really impressed me. The bed was so comfortable that I overslept the next morning—my only regret is missing the breakfast I had been looking forward to. Next time, I would love to stay again so I can properly enjoy their highly regarded breakfast.

Excellent convenience.
I stayed here for sightseeing in Tokyo. It was my first time staying here, and everything was excellent—from the Room and meals to the staff’s service. Being able to take the guest-only elevator directly down to the station’s first floor and explore inside the station hands-free was also a wonderful experience. I would love to stay again someday when visiting Tokyo.

Palace Side
This was my first stay at Palace Side, and I was happy to have my Room upgraded, allowing me to enjoy a more spacious Room and the view in front of Tokyo Station. Breakfast in the atrium was as wonderful as ever, with great service—I ended up eating too much. I would definitely like to stay again.

It was a wonderful Hotel!
We were able to store our luggage both before and after check-in, and the staff were wonderful. At breakfast as well, we received attentive service. The Room had a lovely atmosphere. We would definitely like to stay again.

Exceptional hospitality, even for same-day reservations. A highly satisfying breakfast.
I didn’t have any particular reason I needed to stay overnight, but the Room I’d been wanting was available, so I made a spontaneous same-day Reservation and stayed. I had read that Diamond benefits can only be used for Reservations made by the day before, so I wasn’t expecting anything. However, when I booked around 1:00 p.m. and checked in at 3:00 p.m., the Bulgari amenities were prepared for me—I was truly impressed. The Toraya yokan served as a welcome sweet was also delicious. From the moment I entered the Hotel, the service felt genuinely hospitable, and everyone was pleasant and professional. When I requested a low-rebound pillow, they brought it up promptly after my call. Most of all, the breakfast—what I was looking forward to most—was excellent. Compared with other hotels, each dish is slightly smaller in portion size, but that makes it fun because you can try more variety. There weren’t any overly unusual items, but there were a few things you don’t often see elsewhere, such as chirashi sushi and Toraya sweet red bean paste. The selection ranged from Japanese to Western dishes, and personally I was happy to see melon among the desserts. You can order an omelet via the QR code at your table, and once it’s ready they bring it directly to your seat. I do enjoy watching chefs cook in person as well, but this system is great because it avoids that awkward waiting time. Checkout in the morning was smooth too—it was an outstanding stay overall. The location is unbeatable with direct access to Tokyo Station, so next time I’d like to use it before or after a business trip. There are still breakfast items I haven’t tried yet, so I’ll save those for next time. It was such a wonderful experience that it made me want to come back for sure.

I stayed here after an event. The Room was smaller than I expected, but it was lovely and well stocked with amenities. Both the Western and Japanese breakfast options were very delicious. Next time, I’d like to stay when I can have a bit more time to relax.

A Special Space and Time
I stayed in a dome-side Room. From check-in to check-out, everyone—from the bell staff and concierge to the housekeeping staff we passed in the hallway—was exceptionally courteous, truly embodying the face of the Facility, and it felt like a dreamlike world apart from everyday life. Looking out from the Room, I could see all kinds of people coming and going through the station, and it was a wonderful experience to watch how the scene changed throughout the day. From now on, whenever I use Tokyo Station, I’m sure I’ll feel happy as I look up at my Room and remember this stay. Being warmly seen off with “Have a nice day” made me want to come back again. I would love to stay here again for a special anniversary. Thank you very much.

It was my first stay in a while. They kindly remembered and accommodated the requests I had made during my previous stay. Thank you very much. They also went with me to pick up breakfast, and I was able to enjoy a delicious, filling meal. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.

A one-of-a-kind Hotel
As this was a milestone birthday, I stayed at this Hotel I had long admired from TV dramas and the like. I was happy just to be able to stay, but the service from all the staff was wonderful throughout, and it became an even better memory than I expected. Although there are quite a lot of Rooms, it never felt crowded; time flowed at a relaxed pace, and the entire Hotel has an atmosphere like an art museum. Breakfast is especially exciting because there is such a wide variety of dishes. I also visited the bar—both the food and drinks were delicious, with plenty of options to enjoy! The Room I stayed in had high ceilings with no sense of confinement, and it was a luxurious space filled with interiors perfectly described as classic. Also, although it had a unit bath, ventilation was excellent, so humidity and heat were not an issue. I usually like staying at different Hotels so I don’t often return to the same one, but this is a Hotel that makes me want to come back!

The best.
All staff were exceptionally attentive, the Hotel was spotless and dust-free, and the Room air felt fresh. It was a quiet, comfortable space you wouldn’t expect in the city—an outstanding Hotel. Breakfast was also excellent, with an eel rice bowl, chirashi sushi, miso soup, melon, and more—down to details like tsukudani and Toraya sweet bean paste—so we could relax and enjoy it little by little. I’d love to stay again.

The best breakfast.
I’ve stayed here many times, and it never gets old no matter how often I visit. I look forward to coming every time. The location and service are excellent, but the breakfast stands out most of all—delicious with a wide variety, truly the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Even my young child seems to know this buffet is amazing and is thrilled every time we stay. I definitely want to come back again.

A Beautiful Japanese Hotel
Thank you very much for all your thoughtful care during our stay. From check-in to baggage assistance and the restaurant, all of the staff were dignified yet warmly welcoming, and somehow we could truly feel the “beautiful Japan.” We are grateful to have spent such an exceptional time, with staff worthy of the station’s grandeur, as well as the overall interior design and our Room. We had a Multiple Night Stay on the dome side, but we could not find a chest for storing luggage, so we were slightly inconvenienced when it came to placing items such as changes of clothes—though that is a luxurious complaint. Wishing that this beautiful Hotel will continue for a long time, and hoping to return again someday, we left our Room.

Thank you very much for upgrading our Room. Thanks to you, we were able to relax and enjoy a spacious stay. We had been looking forward to breakfast. It was delicious, but has the variety of Japanese dishes decreased? In the past, there were side dishes served in small boxes, but we didn’t see them this time—some items seemed to be individually portioned instead. For the Western options, the omelet and curry doria were excellent. For dessert, having two kinds of melon felt luxurious, and the melon shortcake was outstanding.

A Beautiful, Spotlessly Clean Hotel
It was a beautiful Hotel, just as expected. I have stayed at many Hotels in Japan and abroad, and this one stood out for its exceptional cleanliness. The staff were attentive down to the smallest details, and their efficient, professional manner was very pleasant. The breakfast venue was bright and spacious, with a well-balanced selection of dishes that all tasted great. I would love to stay again. Next time, I’d like to try a Room on the Dome side or the Palace side.

Your First Stay at the Station Hotel
A Hotel I’d always wanted to stay at During the Obon holiday, it must have been treated as a weekday, because I was able to stay at a great rate! From the exterior, I thought the interior might be a bit old, but it was amazingly clean and I was pleasantly surprised. The Room, hallways, and breakfast venue were all excellent. Breakfast had a calm atmosphere, high-quality ingredients, and a wide variety—among all the Hotels I’ve stayed at before, it easily ranks in my top three. For dinner as well, besides the Hotel there are Marunouchi Building (Maru Biru), Shin-Marunouchi Building (Shin Maru Biru), and KITTE nearby, so there were plenty of places to eat. Since it’s right by the station—more like staying at the station—it’s convenient for going anywhere. Unlike foreign-owned Hotels, it has a calm atmosphere; when I went out and came back, it felt reassuring like coming home. The service was great too—I loved being greeted with “Welcome back.” There were also foreign staff members, but everyone spoke Japanese! It’s currently my favorite Hotel. When there’s another good deal available, this Station Hotel will be my only choice (lol). Staying at such a great Hotel raised my satisfaction level even more. Thank you very much.
