I was looking forward to this stay as it was recommended by a friend, but I was disappointed. The room location was convenient, right in front of the elevator. Also, the male staff at the front desk handled everything efficiently and pleasantly. However, the towels in the public bath were terrible. Unlike other accommodations where disposable ones are used, they seemed reused here, and there were no bath towels provided in the changing area. The hotel slippers were made of cheap vinyl like those used in old ryokans from decades ago. At least for higher-priced rooms, it would have been better to provide different slippers to avoid mix-ups. It’s nice that the bath opens at 5 AM, but closing at 9:30 AM feels too early. Since I had a multiple night stay, I wanted to relax after breakfast but couldn’t because cleaning started after 9 AM. The coffee maker near the front desk has very limited operating hours. While it’s fine for juice to have time restrictions, coffee should be available more freely. Breakfast was a buffet from 7 AM to 9 AM. They thoughtfully reserved a seat for me at the farthest corner; however, it felt too far away. With so many guest rooms available, splitting breakfast times into slots like 7 AM and 8 AM would help reduce long lines—but that wasn’t implemented here. It reminded me of staying at a crowded ryokan during peak season. *Also noticed dust on beams in the changing area.*
