    Moving

    The lounge staff were outstanding. They were kind, courteous, and explained everything clearly. The food was also excellent—I was surprised that a lounge could offer meals this delicious. It felt like the first time I’ve stayed at a Hotel where the lounge truly functions as a lounge. I was able to refresh and relax—thank you very much. I would definitely love to visit again.

    As expected.

    I stayed multiple nights in a club room at a new international Hotel, and the difference was overwhelming. Not only was the hospitality excellent, but the lounge quality was on another level. If possible, it would have been even better if the pool were open until around midnight.

    A Dream Stay

    We used this Hotel for a family trip. It was one of the Hotels I had admired for a long time, and we stayed there to celebrate as well. The Room was very clean with a great view, and we enjoyed spending time on the terrace. This time we added Club Lounge access, but in conclusion, I personally think it would have been better not to add it and instead use the Grand Kitchen on the first floor. I use the Grand Kitchen often, and I prefer its food and atmosphere. The hot food served in the Club Lounge was not very warm, which bothered me. Also, the Club Lounge felt smaller than expected. As for the staff, I felt that the quality of service varied quite a bit depending on the person. That said, overall it was a satisfying Hotel stay. I would like to stay again if I have another opportunity.

    This was my third st...

    This was my third stay. At the breakfast buffet, some items I requested did not arrive, and the staff seemed rushed. That was disappointing. Other than that, this is a wonderful Hotel that truly feels like one of Japan’s finest.

    A Stay Amid Fresh Greenery

    I was able to enjoy a relaxing stay during the season of fresh greenery as well. Thank you very much. As always, spending time at the restaurants and bar is a truly happy experience. This time, I visited Grand Kitchen, Privé, Royal Bar, and Tatsumi. With each visit, you have come to understand my preferences more and more, allowing me to dine in great comfort. Thank you to all the chefs and staff. On the other hand, I’ve found it increasingly difficult to keep up with the sharp rise in room rates since the beginning of this year. I understand that prioritizing overseas guests makes business sense, but I hope prices will return to a level that makes it easier for domestic guests to consider staying as well. Over the past few years, I have stayed more than 10 nights per year through IKYU and your official website. I feel that my stays are reaching a turning point. There is no doubt that this is an outstanding Japanese-managed Hotel. Because I truly love Palace Hotel Tokyo, I wanted to share this feedback.

    This is my favorite Hotel.

    Ever since the Palace Hotel took such wonderful care of us for my daughter’s wedding, I’ve been captivated by it, and this was my third stay. Every corner of the property feels comfortable, and although we have enjoyed lunch and dinner at the various restaurants many times with family and friends, staying overnight—being able to savor it for hours—is truly something special. This time, thanks to the IKYU Diamond benefits of early check-in and late check-out, my dream of fully enjoying my birthday at the Palace Hotel came true. As always on the Club Floor, I spent blissful time with delicious food and drinks. The attentive hospitality from every staff member throughout the Hotel was just as exceptional as ever—whenever I looked unsure or worried about something, someone would immediately come over to help. It’s genuinely moving. The next morning, while my husband used the pool as he always does, I tried the gym for the first time. The staff kindly guided me step by step as a beginner, and it was truly a fun experience. Next time, I’d love to stay on a day when I can try yoga. I also enjoyed the sauna at Evian Spa, took advantage of the great location to stroll around Marunouchi, picked up my favorite Mangier as a souvenir—and even on my way home I already wanted to come back right away. That’s what this Hotel is like. No matter how much we travel elsewhere, Palace is still number one for me. This stay once again reminded me why it deserves its five-star reputation and three Michelin Keys. And finally—the panoramic view of Mount Fuji and the sunset from the Club Lounge is absolutely worth seeing at least once.

    Before you know it

    It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station (we recommend taking a taxi). I checked in feeling a bit out of place, and since the Room was L-shaped and I had assumed I’d be able to see the Imperial Palace, my excitement dropped a little. Later the phone rang (it startled me), and I learned about a Room upgrade. In the end, nothing needed to be changed—I enjoyed the full-moon night and the morning view. Before I knew it, this may have been the Hotel where I talked with the staff more than ever—asking about souvenir shops, meals, and making a Reservation after checkout. Their phone manner was also something to learn from. It’s a Hotel where I wanted to say thank you for such an enjoyable time. The food is carefully presented and highly recommended.

    Everything is perfect.

    I brought my wife here as a surprise without telling her which Hotel it was. The view from the Room was truly amazing and set the mood right from the start. We also loved the spacious balcony, where we could enjoy the scenery while feeling the fresh air outside. Not only were the Room and meals high quality, but the staff’s thoughtful hospitality made our stay truly special. We would definitely like to stay again.

    Unfortunately, there were a few disappointing points this time...

    This was our first stay since last August. Because of the lounge team’s outstanding overall skills and attentive hospitality, my wife truly loves your Hotel, so we chose to stay again this January. The lounge team and all Hotel staff were, as expected, exceptional, and the two of us were able to enjoy a calm yet fulfilling time together. At the Evian Spa, some Facility elements did feel a bit dated, but we intentionally visited during a quieter time and were able to relax deeply and feel refreshed. However, there was one disappointing issue. The bathtub in our Room felt very slippery—likely because detergent had not been fully rinsed off the sides and bottom. I slipped when getting in and hit part of my body hard, and it also took considerable time and effort to rinse it clean. Fortunately, it was me rather than my wife who slipped and got hurt. Everything else was truly wonderful and excellent, which is why this bathtub issue has unfortunately stayed with me. I hesitated to mention it in this Review, but I hope it will be improved so your Hotel can become even better. Please continue striving to be a Hotel where guests can always enjoy a comfortable stay.

    A comfortable stay with attentive, personalized hospitality

    As with last year, my parents stayed here for their wedding anniversary. I couldn’t stay due to work, so it was just the two of them. The service during their stay was consistently excellent, and they even remembered the anniversary and kindly offered thoughtful touches such as a family photo. I had asked about champagne or a cake at the time of Reservation, but decided not to order anything considering my parents’ health—yet they still seemed to remember the occasion. Thank you for your attentive hospitality. We’ll be back!

    Always wonderful.

    Always truly wonderful. Above all, the luxury of relaxing on the balcony in that location. I was able to spend a truly luxurious, unhurried time. I would definitely like to stay again.

    This is my favorite Hotel!

    We used the Club Floor to celebrate a family occasion. From the large windows of our spacious, comfortable Room and the beautifully designed scenic-view bath, we enjoyed snowy views toward Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace area, and were able to relax and lose track of time. (It would be even better if the bath could stop filling automatically and offer a reheating function.) After a truly satisfying dinner at Wadakura, we enjoyed a birthday plate of Mont Blanc Chantilly in our Room. Sharing delicious food and such a wonderful time with someone special made me feel, “Life is truly wonderful!” Many staff members offered warm congratulations, which left us recharged for the days ahead. The body treatment at evian SPA was deeply soothing, thanks to the therapists’ gentle hospitality and the stylish setting. Afterward, I felt refreshed as if reborn. Thank you for such a genuinely happy stay. This is a Hotel we would love to visit again.

    A relaxing Hotel.

    I love the Palace Hotel so much that I always want to stay here whenever I visit Tokyo. I especially like how bright the Hotel is and its signature scent. The service throughout is excellent, and I was completely satisfied with both the Room and the Facility. Breakfast is well-balanced and enjoyable, too. I will definitely return.

    Staying at the Palac...

    Staying at the Palace Hotel I had always dreamed of was truly moving. The calm, refined entrance, the elegant color scheme throughout the Hotel, and the classic atmosphere were wonderful. Although it was a special Hotel stay, it was disappointing that some Facility areas were unavailable. I look forward to my next visit.

    A Fully-Catered Stay

    I stayed here for three nights for the first time, combining training and sightseeing. We were extremely satisfied with everything that matters to us as a couple—the location, in-room storage, shower water pressure, comfort of the bedding, and the services provided in the club lounge. In particular, we were truly impressed by how the club lounge staff always greeted us with a smile and showed such thoughtful attention to detail. We would definitely like to stay here again whenever we are in Tokyo.

    Wonderful Staff

    This time, I stayed at the Palace Hotel Tokyo Club Floor with a friend for the first time. The afternoon tea from 2:00 PM featured high-quality desserts. During cocktail time from 5:30 PM, I enjoyed cold dishes, warm dishes, and my favorite cheese paired with wine. Breakfast was also delicious, and I ended up eating too much. The staff at the club lounge were all pleasant, polite, and professional—truly living up to the reputation of Palace Hotel. The guest room was lovely, and the view from the balcony offered a one-of-a-kind scenery unique to Palace Hotel. It made me want to stay again on a special occasion. Thank you very much!

    The restaurant is wonderful.

    I had always wanted to stay here and used it for a staycation this time. I was disappointed to be assigned a room with no sunlight and no view, as I had high expectations for the window view based on the promotional photos. It seems there are different room ranks even within the same Plan. The Room was spacious and well-designed for its location. The bathroom area was large and convenient, but I personally found the separate bath inconvenient. Dust on the hairdryer vent caught my attention, which surprised me since similar ones in other Hotels are usually clean. Breakfast was served at a lovely sunlit table, making for a pleasant start to the day. I would like to use this Hotel again casually in the future.

    Exceptional Hospitality

    I stayed here for my wife's birthday and received exceptional hospitality. From the entrance, the first-class service was impressive, and during our stay, the staff were very pleasant. The room was clean and comfortable, allowing us to relax fully. The view from the room was stunning, and having a balcony was a great feature. The spacious room provided a relaxing experience. It’s a hotel I would love to stay at again.

    Tried this accommodation as it is Review No.1 on IKYU.com for hotels in Tokyo. Stayed for a multiple night stay of 3 nights to attend my niece's wedding held in Tokyo. Last year, I stayed at the Tokyo Station Hotel, so I compared the two. One boasts Forbes and Michelin Guide top scores, while the other holds prestigious SLH certification. For those using the Shinkansen, convenience goes to the Station Hotel. However, as a city hotel with balconies offering views of lush greenery from the Imperial Palace, skyscrapers, Tokyo Tower, and even the National Diet Building—Palace Hotel stands out. The classic interior of the Station Hotel versus Palace Hotel's spacious and refreshing lobby were enjoyable contrasts to experience. Spacious rooms with attention to detail by hotel staff, delicious breakfast options, and well-equipped amenities left nothing more to be desired. However, while enjoying a large open bathtub with a shower booth attached was nice in concept—the water cooled quickly during use; adding hot water repeatedly made it less comfortable than expected due to feeling cold overall. As someone accustomed culturally (as Japanese) towards enclosed baths featuring separate washing areas—this aspect could improve further. That said—it’s easy now why this place ranks Review No.1!

    Birthday Accommodation

    I received exceptional hospitality for my birthday. The room was a corner room with a great view, and the food was delicious. The afternoon tea was visually delightful, but since I had a late lunch, I couldn't try all the varieties, which I regret a little. Haha. This is a hotel I would love to stay at again.     After a year and a half, I returned for another stay at the Hotel. Check-in at the lounge was incredibly smooth and stress-free, setting the tone for what promised to be another wonderful experience. Enjoying champagne and sweets with attentive yet unobtrusive service, I relaxed before heading to my Room. Both the Room and lounge welcomed me with their familiar charm, unchanged in all the best ways. The Room was spacious enough for two people, equipped with high-quality amenities that were both satisfying in quantity and quality—especially the toothbrushes and slippers which were exceptional. Men's skincare products were also available upon request. While not a major issue, it would be nice if there were some design adjustments such as ensuring beds are not visible from the entrance or adding handrails in the bathroom's shower area, an extra basin, or even internet TV options. However, these minor points did not detract significantly from my overall experience. Despite it being January, I was fortunate to enjoy warm sunlight on the balcony while admiring Mount Fuji beyond the Imperial Palace—a truly lucky moment. In the evening at the lounge, I indulged in canapés paired with sparkling drinks like Perrier and Ferrari—deliciously satisfying before returning to my Room where turndown service awaited alongside Maison Cacao treats. Unfortunately, I couldn’t make room for their highly recommended Wagyu beef fillet cutlet sandwich this time around—a regret indeed! Instead of dinner via in-room dining this time around though breakfast became our choice: one Japanese set meal & one Western-style option ordered together. As we watched staff efficiently prepare our table beautifully adorned meals arrived plentifully portioned & deliciously presented; warmer weather might’ve made balcony dining possible but indoors sufficed perfectly fine too! Checkout occurred smoothly back within Lounge concluding w/ chilled mineral water farewell gesture leaving heartfelt gratitude behind longing return soon again!

    Wonderful Hotel

    Stayed during a long weekend for the second year in a row. This time, I splurged on a Grand Deluxe Room with a balcony. The room was spacious and absolutely lovely. Enjoyed the hotel's facilities such as the restaurant, in-room dining, and spa. The staff provided impeccable service—polite yet friendly—and I believe their hospitality is among the best in Tokyo. There was also seamless coordination between departments; for instance, after having lunch at Grand Kitchen and checking in later, the front desk staff asked how my meal was. Overall, it was an incredibly satisfying stay that left me refreshed. I would love to stay here again!

    I had been wanting to visit for a long time, but work often came up whenever I tried to reserve. This time, I was finally able to visit for a New Year family trip. Even though it has been over 10 years since the renovation, the room was incredibly clean and quiet, and our stay was as wonderful as other reviews mentioned. During the afternoon tea at check-in, my family already became fans! The club lounge provided an exceptional experience no matter what time we visited. I was also impressed by the professionalism of the staff. Although it was a short stay, we were able to enjoy the pool before checking out. If I were to point out something minor, there were only two toothbrushes in the room which was a bit disappointing. However, this small oversight could easily be overlooked because everything else about their service was excellent. Next time, we are considering trying out some of the French dining options within the facility!

    This is my power spot.

    I would travel to Tokyo just for a stay at the Palace Hotel. The guest service staff are very friendly, and I feel at ease the moment I step into the lobby. Dining at Esterre is a special and luxurious experience for me. Not only is the food exceptional, but the service is also wonderful, and chatting with the staff is one of my favorite parts. I was able to relax and fully enjoy my meal. This time, I finally got to try the three kinds of strawberry parfaits that I'd been longing for. The strawberries were sweet, and the cream was light and delicious. The staff are mostly young, all working hard with refreshing smiles that make interactions pleasant. I'll definitely return to be energized by their smiles again!
