    The view from the open-air bath is outstanding.

    This was my first stay, and it lived up to the reputation—the ocean view from the open-air bath was amazing. The starry sky at night was also stunning. It’s an older Hotel, but it has been renovated and well maintained. One downside was that the air conditioner only allowed fan-speed adjustment, making it difficult to set a comfortable temperature. The breakfast and dinner buffets had a wide variety of options, and we left feeling very full, regardless of the overall quality. It takes some time to get there after exiting the expressway, but I would like to stay again.

    It was my first time visiting.

    It was my first time staying at this Hotel, and I was amazed by the buffet meals! There was a wide variety, and everything was delicious. They even made sushi fresh on the spot, and there was plenty of seafood. The baths also had several different types, so I could relax and unwind. You can choose your yukata, which is great for dressing up when traveling with your boyfriend. A couple of things I noticed: there is a water dispenser, but the water wasn’t cold. Also, some of the arcade machines were quite old; games like Taiko no Tatsujin had issues such as hits not registering properly. Overall, the view was beautiful, the Room was clean, and the service was excellent. It’s a wonderful Hotel that makes me want to come back again if I have the chance.

    I have been coming here for six consecutive years. The ocean view from the Room is beautiful. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent. Although it is a bit far, I definitely want to come back every year.

    A Hotel worth staying at least once a year.

    The meals are absolutely delicious. I have tried buffet-style meals at various Hotels, but the food here is all tasty and seems to have a special touch. Used plates were promptly cleared, allowing for a smooth dining experience. The staff was attentive and observant. The Room's bath, sink, and toilet were all spacious and clean. The large public bath was also great; however, the hallway leading there was cold, and the temperature of the stone sauna was too low to feel warm—these could be areas for improvement. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and other amenities were high-quality and very satisfying.

    We used the private bath, which was spacious enough for a family of five to relax comfortably! The buffet-style meals were great as everyone could choose and enjoy their favorite dishes. The Room, however, felt a bit chilly due to the sound of strong wind coming through gaps. Overall, it was a comfortable trip where our whole family could relax together!

    We stayed as a group of three with a 1-year-old child. The heating was too strong, making it a bit too warm. Other than that, we were satisfied. The kids' space is also nice.

    The Best Value Accommodation of Your Life

    This was the best value-for-money Hotel I have ever stayed at. The ocean view from the Room and bath was stunning, and the buffet meals were incredibly delicious. I was also delighted to enjoy my favorite soft-serve ice cream in the morning.

    First Day of Touring

    First Time in Irago! The open-air bath with views of the sunset and sunrise was amazing! The Room had a great atmosphere, and the scenery was absolutely stunning! The food was delicious—nothing to complain about. Completely satisfied!

    This was our first time using the private family bath. The bath was very spacious and satisfying, but since we visited in November, the outdoor washing area felt cold. It was a bit disappointing.

    The wine sommelier is exceptional.

    A variety of Japanese sake, including rare ones from Mikawa, Aichi Prefecture, were introduced all at once. It was very delicious and also very educational. Thank you so much. We were also very happy with the dog-friendly environment.

    A Hotel You'll Want to Visit Again

    Many hotels have photos that look amazing, but this Hotel was exactly as shown in the pictures, and there was no disappointment upon arrival. The Japanese dinner was beautifully presented, easy to eat, and every dish was delicious. The breakfast buffet had a wide variety of options and was also very tasty. The service was excellent as well. The baths were enjoyable with natural Onsen, open-air baths, and monthly themed baths. One downside was the scaffolding set up for exterior renovations; I don't recall seeing any mention of it during the Reservation process—perhaps I missed it. While the view from the Room wasn't completely obstructed, it wasn't ideal either. Another point is that since it's a large Hotel, the distance between Rooms, elevators, Onsen facilities, and restaurants can be quite far; this seemed a bit challenging for my elderly mother. Overall though, it's a Hotel I'd love to visit again!

    The Japanese cuisine was delicious!

    Stayed 46 years ago when it was Irago View Hotel. Stayed again with nostalgic feelings. The accommodation has been beautifully renovated. Considering the price, everything was excellent. The meals were unexpectedly delicious, and I ended up overeating. I would love to visit again to enjoy this delicious Japanese cuisine.

    Enjoy the stunning views.

    Although the weather was bad and there was scaffolding, making it difficult to enjoy the view, I would like to come back for a better experience. The Room was smaller than expected, but I enjoyed the meals.

    I had a relaxing time.

    It was my first time staying, and I stayed for two nights. The view from the Room was great, and I could relax. I went mainly for the pool, but it was full of children during the day. In the evening at the night pool, I could float around and relax. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent with a wide variety of menu options, making me eat more than I intended!

    Very disappointing.

    We have been using this accommodation for decades, but this time, something unexpected happened. I am leaving this review because I would like to use this accommodation again in the future. I apologize in advance. The front desk explained that the yukata ties were in the drawer of the room, but when I opened it, I was shocked to find two used yukatas crumpled inside. Although they came to retrieve them immediately, the drawer was left as it was without any disinfection. Next, around 1 a.m., a popping sound started near the head of the bed and continued all night. By around 4 a.m., the sound moved to the area near the ceiling light and changed to a dripping-like noise at intervals of about 15 seconds. Both my spouse and I couldn’t sleep and ended up sleep-deprived. I reported the noise issue to the front desk during checkout, asking them to check it immediately as it would be troublesome for the next guests. However, I have yet to receive any follow-up or explanation from the hotel regarding the cause. Prompt responses are crucial in such situations. While the bath and buffet were excellent, incidents like these left us feeling disappointed, turning what should have been an enjoyable trip into an unpleasant experience. I sincerely hope improvements will be made so that during our next stay, we can say, "This place is as great as ever!"

    It was average.

    The meals were served in a buffet style. However, the variety of dishes was limited, and there were few appealing options. Perhaps because of this, there were long lines at the beef, tempura, and sushi stations, while other areas remained uncrowded. Additionally, the buffet area was narrow, making the crowd stressful. Expanding the buffet area and offering more attractive menu options distributed across different sections could improve satisfaction. The room on the 7th floor was spacious and comfortable. The main attraction of this accommodation is its view; however, due to exterior construction work with scaffolding in place, the ocean view was obstructed by it—this was very disappointing. Was this noted during reservation? For these reasons—the underwhelming buffet experience and obstructed view—I have rated it two stars.

    Autumn Vacation Trip

    The Facility has been in operation for many years, so some areas show signs of aging. Additionally, the temperatures of the various baths in the large public bath seemed slightly low. However, both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety and were very delicious. Considering the price, it is a satisfying Hotel.

    It was a pleasant stay.

    I stayed for two nights combined with a yoga session, and it was an excellent experience. First of all, the 360-degree ocean view location and the Onsen were amazing. The yoga session on the first day was conducted in a small group with great care, and the sunset afterward was truly moving. It would be wonderful if you could plan 2-3 night yoga retreat stay plans as well—I’m sure they would be fantastic! And the Onsen overlooking the Pacific Ocean—simply incredible! These two points alone make me want to return. However, while the room was good, I found the amenities disappointing. The quality and number of bath towels were insufficient; I had to go to the front desk every time I needed more after bathing. For beverages, it would be nice to have at least coffee, tea, and green tea provided as basics. Also, offering high-quality individual amenities could elevate this Hotel’s grade even further. The meals were reasonable considering their price overall. The chefs were all very pleasant and professional. On my second day, I enjoyed a French course at your restaurant where service was again very attentive; however, I felt that lighting in dining areas could use some improvement—it felt too bright or warm at times during meals. As for taste preferences regarding French cuisine served there: flavors seemed mild overall; adding more contrast might enhance dishes further—but still appreciated everything greatly! Lastly traveling without private car posed challenges yet personalized pick-up services offered by staff proved immensely helpful & thoughtful indeed! In conclusion: combining stunning location + exceptional Onsen alongside attentive service earns praise though slight letdowns like amenity quality or dining atmosphere tweaks remain noted hence awarding four stars rating here today! Overall delightful stay nonetheless!!

    The view was breathtaking!

    Thank you for your hospitality. The weather was great, and the view from the open-air bath was breathtaking. The breeze was pleasant, making it an Onsen I could stay in forever! The meals were overall satisfying. The Aosa ramen was delicious, and thanks to the staff's recommendation of sesame and green onions, I even drank all the broth! (laughs) The melon soft serve was also tasty—I had it multiple times. Staying in a room on the sunrise side allowed me to wake up early and witness the sunrise, which was truly moving. If there had been complimentary drinks or ice cream bars in the post-Onsen relaxation area, that would have been even better. It’s an accommodation that makes me want to visit again. Thank you very much!

    Summer Memories with Grandchildren

    We stayed at the accommodation during summer to use the pool with our grandchildren. This time, we chose the Panorama Premier Family Room, and the grandchildren were thrilled with the hammock in the room and the large whale plush toy. However, they were disappointed that there was no cotton candy corner at the evening buffet, which they had enjoyed last time, and that shaved ice by the poolside was also unavailable. We hope these can be brought back next year. Thank you!

    I was looking forward to the ocean view. The view from the Room was great, and the Room itself was nice. The bath was spacious, and the scenery from the open-air bath was also very beautiful. Since it was summer vacation, there were many families with children, and the first dinner buffet felt a bit chaotic with lines and a rushed atmosphere. The taste wasn’t very good. I think a relaxing kaiseki meal would be better. Next time I visit, I’d like to choose kaiseki (if available).

    Mixed experience with both positives and negatives.

    <Good Points> - The dinner was Chinese cuisine, and everything was delicious and very satisfying. Each dish was carefully prepared, which was impressive. The staff during dinner were knowledgeable and provided excellent service. - The view from the bath was great, and the changing room was clean and well-maintained. - The room had no particular issues, and I slept well. <Disappointing Points> - Although we requested a pick-up service, we had to load and unload our suitcases ourselves and ended up searching for the front desk on our own. - The yukata we borrowed had a damp smell. - A previous guest's yukata was left in the drawer in our room as it had been taken off. - While there were no odors in the room itself, there was a slight musty smell in some areas of the facility.

    The price for a stay with dinner and breakfast during summer vacation was so low that I was initially worried, but there were no major issues. The Resort Hotel leaves a strong impression with the scenery and atmosphere as soon as you enter the entrance, but my first thought upon entering was the old smell. The entire building, including the elevator and Room, had a distinct old-building scent, which is understandable given its age. While the Room and dining areas have been renovated, elements like windows, exterior walls, and toilets still felt outdated. Nowadays, it seems standard for Hotels to offer free welcome drinks or in-room TV streaming services (like Netflix or YouTube), but such thoughtful services were absent here—it felt like an older-style Resort Hotel experience overall. There were many infants around making it lively everywhere; this may not suit those seeking a quiet resort experience but is recommended for those looking for affordability and liveliness. Although the parking lot's distance and poor-quality Room slippers were disappointing, having ReFa hair dryers in the large public bath was excellent!

    Summer Trip

    We traveled with our Toy Poodle, elderly father, husband, and son. The dog-friendly items, large stroller, and dog run facilities were excellent. The night-time dog run was especially appreciated during the hot season. The ocean view was beautiful; however, since we stayed as a group of four, the extra bed and dog's cage placed by the window made it slightly difficult to enjoy the view while seated.

    Breathtaking Views! Breathtaking Views!

    We stayed here for the first night of our trip to Toba and Ise, after taking the ferry from Irago Cape to Toba. The view was absolutely stunning! The scenery from the lobby, Room, and especially the bath was breathtaking. Dinner and breakfast were buffet-style with a wide variety of options. During the melon fair, we enjoyed plenty of melons and were very satisfied.
