Family Summer Vacation
This was our first stay here. We spent our family summer vacation here. The kids enjoyed the pool, each chose what they liked at the buffet, and we all had a great time in the spacious Onsen. As parents, we were also able to relax and take it easy. All of the Hotel staff were truly kind. When I emailed with questions before our stay, they replied politely, and during our stay they greeted us with smiles whenever we passed by, which made our time very pleasant. Even while dining at the buffet, their attentive service made us feel comfortable and able to enjoy our meal with peace of mind. The scenery was beautiful and gave a wonderful sense of openness. The Room was also thoroughly cleaned and spotless, which we really appreciated. We would love to stay again.

Very good.
I’d known it for years as the Irago View Hotel, but the name has changed and the Accommodation has been renovated. Everyone at the front desk and all the staff were kind and welcoming with smiles. I couldn’t find a bottle for the water dispenser in my Room, but when I called they brought one right away. The Room I stayed in felt a bit dated in terms of the walls and ceiling, but it was clean and the air conditioning worked well. The only thing was that I had to take both the face towel and bath towel from the Room to the bath area myself—I wish there were a bit more flexibility. The view from the open-air bath was amazing. I’d like to stay again. Thank you.

The pet accommodation fee is too high.
I stayed in a pet-friendly Room with a small dog, and was charged JPY 4,500 per night for the dog on-site, separate from the Accommodation fee on IKYU. That’s about three times the usual rate. Despite that, the dog run was very far away and could only be reached via the delivery route, so no one seemed to use it. Amenities were average. Meals were repetitive, which was disappointing for a Multiple Night Stay.

The pool is the best for summer vacation.
For the first time in 35 years since my stay at Irago View Hotel, I visited again with my daughter’s family, booked two Rooms, and enjoyed the pool and the views with my grandchildren. After the renovation, everything was clean and updated, and the buffet had a great selection—excellent value for money. It’s a great place to enjoy summer with family. The buffet staff were also very kind and helpful. We fully enjoyed both the sunset and sunrise and were very satisfied.

Fully satisfied with the view from the window and the meals
The view of boats coming and going on Ise Bay from the window, and the ever-changing colors of the sky and sea throughout the day—just as stunning from the open-air bath. It was a view we never tired of. The meals were generous in portion, beautifully presented, and delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing, with warm words during meals. We were thoroughly satisfied with our stay.

Family etiquette with children...
The staff work extremely hard and are very attentive. However, the manners of some families with children were surprisingly poor. Because it’s a buffet, it gets crowded at the start, but some parents tried to have their children serve themselves “for practice,” causing a major bottleneck. In situations like this, practice should be done at home, and parents should serve food quickly so they don’t create congestion. It’s understandable that children may spill things, but some left messes as they were. The staff responded with smiles again and again, but the soft-serve ice cream area was unbelievably messy. Also, the ice machines on each floor: when I went at night, there was an unbelievable amount of water everywhere along with scattered ice. A bath towel had been left beside it, but the drip tray area was full of ice. It’s not right to expect staff to clean up after this. It was so bad I wanted to say: if you make a mess, clean it up yourself. I imagine the staff have a very tough job every day—especially during the summer vacation season. I hope you can get through this summer.

A casual resort with great ocean views.
I think this is a really great place for families looking for a summer resort. The pool seems to be free for guests, and I think the breakfast and dinner buffets will be a fun experience for children. The buffet had a kids’ corner where they could make soft-serve ice cream, and there was also a chocolate fountain. However, I would have liked to see more creativity in the quality of the food for adults. It’s disappointing given how great the location is.

Relax in elegance
The baths are not separated by alternating days for men and women, but there were plenty of facilities, including a hot stone spa, a sauna, and a steam sauna. I had plenty of time and really enjoyed it. There was also a great variety of food. The Chinese shumai, shrimp shumai, and steamed meat buns were delicious, so I went back for seconds. I was really looking forward to the melon fair, but it was disappointing that a few pieces were very bitter. Other than that, everything was excellent. Thank you very much. I would like to visit again.

Satisfied
We used the pool during summer vacation with our grandchildren. The staff were friendly, and both the kids and we (the ones paying) were satisfied. We could also use the pool after check-out, which was one of the reasons we chose this place.\nThe only disappointment was that although the entire property is supposed to be non-smoking, the game room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Of course this is due to poor manners by some guests who used it.\nIf you are traveling with children, please be aware.

This was our second ...
This was our second stay, and with the great weather we could clearly enjoy the beautiful views of Irago—it was wonderful. The front desk service was good last time as well, but this time it was even better and made our stay more enjoyable. Since it was a hot season, we also used the limited-time pool. Our Hotel Room was upgraded compared to last time. Both dinner and breakfast offered an all-you-can-eat buffet with over 80 items. For dinner, there were steamed pork and vegetables in a bamboo steamer, simmered beef tendon, live-kitchen teppanyaki beef, sushi, freshly fried tempura, seasonal melon, pudding, and plenty of other sweets. For breakfast, there were freshly made omelets from the live kitchen, avocado cream bread, and French toast. There were also many options such as corn soup, chimaki (sticky rice dumplings), fluffy baked potatoes, two kinds of grilled fish (mackerel and salmon), rolled omelet croissants(?), rice porridge (okayu), and more—time flies while you’re trying to decide what to eat. I think the meals offer something for everyone—from children to seniors. It was a very fulfilling day.

Dinner was disappointing.
What matters to me is being able to go to the Onsen and the dining venue easily, without having to wait in lines. First, the elevators usually didn’t require much waiting. However, we chose 5:00 PM for dinner and there was a very long line. Since it is buffet-style, it was also extremely crowded just to pick up food. At other hotels, there are sometimes multiple stations for the same dishes to reduce lines, but here everything felt concentrated in one area. Sushi, tempura, and zaru soba were all lined up together as well, so even if you only wanted one item you still had to queue. It also felt like there weren’t many menu options. Also, a couple with a baby spilled something and they were wiping the floor themselves. I wondered if no one would even help at a Hotel. One staff member walked by but ignored them. It was disappointing to see staff pass right next to a young couple cleaning while holding their baby. Even after going around taking orders, no one came back. This isn’t an inexpensive restaurant—it’s a Hotel—so I felt like helping them myself. That left a strong impression on me.

A Hotel you can be proud of.
I stay here regularly. This time, a friend came to visit from far away, so I showed them around the Tokai region.\nThe Hotel’s shuttle bus picked us up from Toyohashi, making travel after sightseeing very comfortable.\nAfter a day out, we relaxed in the bath and enjoyed delicious meals. My friend especially praised how great the seafood was.\nAlthough it was during the rainy season, we were lucky with the weather that day and truly appreciated how comfortable everything was.\nWe look forward to staying again.

The view is spectacular.
It was a very busy day with many guests staying. Quite a few cars were boldly parked outside the marked spaces—some had moved the cones to park, and others even parked in no-parking areas (on the hatched markings). There is also a second parking lot with plenty of available spaces, but this still happened. Poor guest manners stood out, and the Hotel did not seem to manage or address it at all. It was left as-is until morning, which felt unsettling. The Room was clean and spacious. I also enjoyed the meals. The large public bath is spacious, so even with many guests staying it didn’t bother me. It was easy to use, and I appreciated it.

About Breakfast Hours
The breakfast venue is very spacious, but perhaps because there is no limit on entry, it becomes far too crowded with guests lining up to get food. To ease congestion, consider staggering entry times (e.g., every 15 minutes) or dividing the venue into two areas (A and B). Nothing is more frustrating than having to wait in a long line just to get food. Instead of limiting breakfast hours to 7:00–8:30, extending them to around 6:00–8:30 could help by spreading guests out over a longer period.

More satisfying than expected.
It was my first trip to Irago in a while. After looking at various options, I’m glad I chose this Hotel. The view from the Room and the meals were both excellent; even though it was a buffet, the staff explained everything to us in person, which made us very satisfied, and it was delicious. I would definitely like to stay again.

Moving — A Ramen Shop
The chef at the noodle station in the buffet dining area was outstanding. I don’t usually eat ramen, but it was incredibly delicious—I had two bowls. My foodie friend who came with me felt the same way.

View
I stayed here for the first time in five years. The hotel has been renovated, and the Room was clean and nice. It was also helpful that each guest had their own room key. Best of all was the view from the large public bath. Thank you.

This was our first s...
This was our first stay as a family of three (with one child). Unfortunately, it was raining when we arrived, so the view wasn’t very clear, but it was sunny on the morning of checkout and the scenery was amazing. The large public bath had a hot stone sauna for women, and the water temperature was just right. There were about 80 buffet items in total across dinner and breakfast. Dinner is served in two 90-minute sessions. Dinner felt luxurious, with sirloin steak, steamed dishes, sweet shrimp, sushi, and more. For breakfast there were made-to-order omelets, morning udon, and a DIY seafood rice bowl station—so many choices it was hard to decide.

Come back again!
I first stayed here in February 2026, and this was my second visit. It was great value at the time, but I was especially amazed by how wonderful the location was on my last stay—I couldn’t wait to come back. Perhaps because it was just after Golden Week, we even received a Room upgrade, which made this trip an even better memory. I’d love to visit again when the season changes.

The facilities and the sushi were drawbacks.
- Rooms The view is great—but be careful!! I went to the parking area where you can walk toward the lighthouse in the harbor (which you can see from the Room), and I saw someone looking toward the Hotel with binoculars! The Room was well cleaned and very tidy. I was also happy that the air purifier was clean. I stay at various Accommodations, and in bad places you sometimes find mold... However, it was a bit inconvenient having to go fill up water every time, and it was a little disappointing that the only drink provided in the Room was powdered tea. The in-room snack is a Western-style sweet called “melon gaufrette,” so I would have liked black tea or coffee. - Service All front desk staff were friendly, greeted guests properly, and it felt pleasant. At the buffet, except for the Chinese & ramen area, the chefs were unfriendly. The floor staff were average depending on who it was. But especially at sushi, it was no good—very unfriendly and spoke very quietly. - Bathing Area / Onsen Great view. There are a fair number of types, but overall I felt they were lukewarm. Only the indoor Onsen was over 40°C, and even in late April it felt cold. (Even the carbonated bath was around 39°C.) - Facility You can’t hide how old it feels. The toilet flush is an old-style type where you push down a lever bar like you used to see often. On the 3rd-floor Rooms (I didn’t stay on other floors so I’m not sure), there is centralized air conditioning; it was cold, but since only cooling is available, it was difficult. Because this Accommodation is close to the sea, many things are rusted—though I think they do manage things well—but an outdoor unit visible from the dining venue looked like it might fall over someday... Please be careful; I’ll attach a photo. - Meals This was what I looked forward to most... but their signature sushi was just too bad. The person making it had poor attitude and poor skill; also, despite being near a fishing port there wasn’t even one local item as topping/ingredient. It’s a reasonably priced Accommodation so maybe my expectations were too high... but still. Also, we stayed for two nights (Multiple Night Stay), but most of the dishes were almost exactly same both days—that’s disappointing. If I use this place again: for Multiple Night Stay I’d have to change Plans... but seeing how things are at sushi makes me unable to expect much even from higher-priced meal Plans—so maybe No Meals Included or no Multiple Night Stay? Hmm... probably won’t come again. - Other About slippers: Since my feet are 27 cm there wasn’t an issue for me; my wife’s feet are 24 cm and they seemed too big for her. Elderly guests also wore them into buffet venue area; their toes stuck out through hole at front of slippers and looked hard to walk in them. Isn’t unrealistic make all sizes same? About loungewear: Yukata doesn’t match Hotel atmosphere; would be nice if changed into separate two-piece loungewear. Yukata comes loose easily which bothersome as well .

Our annual trip. We were very satisfied.
I always stay here to catch up with friends. The location is wonderful, and the Hotel has been renovated, so I had a very comfortable stay. I also made a mistake and caused trouble for the staff during a busy morning—my sincere apologies. Thank you very much for your courteous support; I truly appreciate it. I’m an even bigger fan now, and I look forward to staying with you again.

Towels
Thank you very much for having us stay. The Room was comfortable, but I had some concerns about the towels provided. There was only one bath towel and one towel per person, and there were no extra towels or face towels. As a result, when using the Onsen in the morning, we had to reuse the towel from the previous day, which made us feel uneasy about hygiene. I imagine many guests use the Onsen, so we would appreciate it if you could provide a few more towels or make it clearer and easier to request additional ones. I hope this feedback will be helpful for future improvements.

We had a very comfortable stay.
The showerhead in the bath, as well as the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, were excellent. The infinity open-air bath was amazing! My daughter said the hot stone sauna was very relaxing. It was a little inconvenient that there wasn’t a hairbrush available when drying my hair, so I had to go to the front desk to get one. Dinner was a Japanese course meal. Everything was delicious with fresh ingredients, and the service was outstanding. This is a Hotel I’d love to visit again!

A Hotel with Spectacular Views!
Arriving by car, I got really excited the moment I saw the Hotel perched on a high hill. You can fully enjoy both the sunset and sunrise sparkling over the sea. The amenities were well provided, and there were so many cute yukata patterns to choose from that it was hard to decide. Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes, which made it fun. I’d love to visit again if I have the chance.

We thoroughly enjoyed the meals and the Onsen!
Last time, my husband and I stayed as a couple and really enjoyed the great value and the Onsen. This time, it was a spring break trip with our two grandsons (ages 7 and 5). The breakfast and dinner buffet had a wide variety of options, everything was delicious, and we were very satisfied. Usually, my husband and I take one grandchild each to the large public bath, but this time I wanted him to fully enjoy the men’s bath, so I made a Reservation for a private bath for me and both grandsons. The open-air bath was much larger than expected, and the boys swam the whole time—we also enjoyed the scenery (fee: 5,500 yen). It would be even better if it were a little cheaper. Although this Hotel has highly rated Reviews, I’d like to mention a few disappointing points: - All three pairs of slippers in our Room were peeling apart and felt loose. My 7-year-old grandson almost fell. When we asked at the public bath reception to replace them, the new pair was also loose. - When I flipped through the in-house information binder in our Room, dust flew up. Looking closely, there was dust on both the desk and on top of the safe. The kids said they “want to come again,” which made us happy. Since this is a Hotel with great food, Onsen facilities, and location, I hope these issues will be improved by our next visit.

A Hotel with Stunning Views
A wonderful Hotel perched on a hilltop. The views were spectacular. From the lobby, the Room, and the baths—everywhere offered breathtaking scenery. The time before falling asleep and the view of the sky and sea brightening after waking in the morning were both amazing and truly unforgettable. The Onsen had excellent water as well. The scenery from the open-air bath was beautiful and felt very luxurious. I was able to relax and take my time. The Room was spacious, clean, and easy to use. Amenities were well provided, and I was happy to receive a sample face mask pack. Since it was spring break, there were many families staying there. The buffet also has a well-stocked kids’ menu corner, so children can really enjoy it too. Of course, adults will be very satisfied as well. Breakfast had a wide variety of options and was delicious. This is a Hotel I would love to visit again.

Perfect for guests traveling with dogs!
Thank you very much for your hospitality. We were completely satisfied in every way. From the meals to the Facility, this is the No. 1 Hotel we have ever stayed at—especially for us traveling with our dog. It was the first time we had ever seen Momotaro (our dog) so relaxed. We believe this is thanks to the thorough cleaning by your staff after each stay. Usually, when we enter a new Hotel, Momotaro wanders around and gets irritated, but this time he was calm from the start. That made us feel very at ease, and we were able to leave him in our Room with peace of mind while enjoying a delicious meal and relaxing. Thank you very much. This is a wonderful Hotel that we would love to visit again.

Great value for money!
Amazing value for money! However, there aren’t any sightseeing spots nearby, so you basically have no choice but to stay in your Room. It’s fine in summer because there’s a pool, though. So I’d be happy if the Hotel had some kind of Facility where you can have fun, even if it costs extra! The buffet isn’t much different from the last time I stayed. I’d like a bit more variety. Considering the price, I can’t really complain, but because it’s affordable, I still have room in my budget to spend!
