The staff provided excellent service, and the bath was spacious and enjoyable. The night view was also beautiful. It was convenient to leave our luggage at the partner hotel near Matsumoto Station, and the shuttle service was great. However, since only Japanese-style rooms were available, we stayed in one of those, but the toilet in the room had a noticeable odor, possibly from the pipes. Honestly, it made us reluctant to use it, which was disappointing. The outdoor footbath had a very low temperature and felt cold enough to risk catching a cold; raising the temperature slightly would be better. Next time, I hope to stay in one of the renovated rooms if they are available.
