The food was amazing!

First, I rated the Onsen/bath as 1 not because the Hotel facilities were poor, but because I went to Yamuwakkanai Onsen Minato-no-Yu instead. As for meals, I used the morning buffet and everything was excellent. It featured plenty of Hokkaido ingredients, and every dish was delicious. Personally, the dashi ochazuke stood out: a simple DIY style where you add your preferred toppings and just pour broth over it—but the flavor of the broth was incredible. I also ended up having seconds of milk. The corn soup also felt very “Hokkaido.” I could go on forever, but it was truly outstanding. If I had to mention one thing, only the coffee might have some room for improvement. The Room was spacious and comfortable as well. My wife and I stayed together, and it was large enough that we didn’t even need to step aside when passing each other—so we could relax with zero stress throughout our stay. It was also nice and roomy when having drinks in the Room at night. Also, this Hotel is in a great location. Wakkanai Station and the Breakwater Dome are right in front of you, and Yamuwakkanai Minato-no-Yu and Fukko Market are also nearby. It sounds like an Onsen Facility will be added soon, which I’m looking forward to as well.
