    Excellent convenience

    It was really close to Hanzomon Station. The area is calm, but there are convenience stores and Doutor nearby, making it a very pleasant environment. This is one of the Hotels I would like to use again.

    Extremely low-level Hotel

    I made a reservation for a multiple night stay under my name, but since the actual guest was different, I requested formal cleaning instead of simple cleaning. The next day, only the sheets were changed and amenities replenished. Food crumbs from the previous guest were left on the table, used slippers remained as they were, and water in glasses was untouched. I later heard about this from the subsequent guest and was utterly shocked and deeply apologetic. Upon inquiry, I was told that it had been forgotten to inform the cleaning staff. The level of service is so poor that I am at a loss for words. I believe this accommodation is unqualified to provide proper service.

    Conveniently located near the station with a bakery nearby.

    The Hotel is conveniently located right in front of Exit 5 of Hanzomon Station. The FamilyMart nearby closes at 11 PM, which was surprising. There was some trash in the corner of the Room, but the staff's service and training were excellent. However, there are not enough chairs in the lobby, and during check-in time, it gets overcrowded with waiting guests. If there are any available Rooms earlier, it would be appreciated to allow check-ins gradually. Recently, many Hotels experience crowds during check-in times; providing more seating for waiting guests might be a good idea. Additionally, I noticed several foreign visitors eating boxed meals late at night near the Hotel entrance, which gave a slightly unsafe impression. Overall though, my stay was pleasant and I would consider staying here again!

    It was relaxing and enjoyable.

    I stayed for one night in Tokyo with my daughter for some errands. When I visited Kobe before, I stayed at Hotel Monterey for the first time and really liked it, so this time I searched for Hotel Monterey in Tokyo and decided on this place. The room was clean and quiet, the bathroom and toilet were stylish, and I was able to relax comfortably. The breakfast was truly delicious.

    Wonderful Hotel

    From check-in to check-out, it was a wonderful Hotel. The amenities included face masks and foot care sheets, there was a welcome drink, the shower in the bathroom was Mirable, and there was a coffee maker along with four bottles of water—such thoughtful hospitality. They even provided two sizes of pajamas for convenience. The area around the Hotel had plenty of restaurants, and both a convenience store and Doutor were just nearby. Above all, the best part is its location right in front of the subway exit. I will definitely stay at Monterey again when I visit Tokyo next time!

    Convenient location

    It was a day of heavy rain and thunderstorms in the city, so the hotel's proximity to the station was very helpful. Due to bad weather, I couldn't move around as planned and ended up doing an early check-in, spending more time at the hotel. Fortunately, there was a convenience store nearby where I could get food. Although I chose this location for its closeness to the station, even the Hanzomon Line stopped running. However, by evening when the rain stopped, I was able to walk to my destination at Budokan as it was within walking distance. Experiencing such extreme weather changes in an unfamiliar area made me anxious but also taught me valuable lessons about choosing hotels with such situations in mind. The room was clean and well-maintained; however, since the building is old, the creaking sound of the elevator scared me a bit. Additionally, sounds from other rooms and voices from the hallway were quite audible—there were even strange singing noises from what seemed like a neighboring foreign guest's room that made me feel uneasy. Lastly, regarding information on TV screens: it mentions there is an alcohol vending machine available; however, this contradicts what is stated on paper materials provided during check-in (that it does not exist). If it's unavailable now, perhaps updating or correcting this information on TV screens would be better?

    Located in front of the station, with a convenience store, supermarket, and café nearby. A very quiet place where you can relax.

    The location is excellent.

    I stayed here for the first time due to its proximity to my destination, just one subway stop away, and found it very convenient as it was easy to reach from Hanzomon Station. Although I had reserved a single room, I was pleasantly surprised to be provided with a twin room, allowing me to enjoy a spacious stay. However, I noticed some dust on the room's hanger rack, which was slightly disappointing. The amenities and complimentary mineral water service were excellent. The staff kindly stored my luggage before check-in and after check-out and even arranged for shipping my belongings, which was incredibly helpful. Thanks to this service, I could move around easily without straining my knees or back. The hotel is surrounded by cafes, supermarkets, and convenience stores, so finding food options was not an issue. As for breakfast, the selection of Japanese dishes felt somewhat limited; adding a few more items would enhance the experience. Overall, I had a comfortable stay and successfully completed my business trip without any issues!

    I chose this accommo...

    I chose this accommodation because I was attending a live event at Yoyogi Gymnasium and found it convenient as it was just one metro ride from Shibuya. The metro exit was right in front of the accommodation, and there were elevators and escalators, which were helpful since I had a suitcase. The room was a twin room with three beds for three people. There wasn’t much space between the beds, so getting on them required some effort. The shower featured Mirable, which was great, and the hairdryer was from my favorite brand, so I used it comfortably. There was a drink service during check-in, but I couldn’t take it due to having too much luggage. When I tried to get it after the live event, they had run out; however, in the morning when I explained my situation, they kindly provided me with drinks. This hotel is conveniently located for events at Budokan as well. If given another opportunity, I would like to stay here again!

    I had a comfortable stay for one week.

    I stayed for a week during a typhoon. Although I didn’t bring an umbrella, the hotel provided free rental umbrellas, and it was convenient to check the coin laundry usage and breakfast venue crowd status on the room monitor. The accommodation is close to Hanzomon Subway Station, and having a drugstore and convenience store within walking distance was very helpful. The complimentary welcome drinks (with several options), aroma towels, and amenity bar were excellent features. Breakfast was very satisfying; I could enjoy freshly made omelets every day, which boosted my motivation. Additionally, four 500ml bottles of water were replenished in the room as needed, saving me from unnecessary purchases at convenience stores—this was truly appreciated. The room cleaning service was also impressive; even when I put up a "no cleaning" sticker due to my long stay, they still cleaned areas like hair in the bathroom or around water fixtures, ensuring comfort throughout my stay. The showerhead in the bathroom being Mirable also added to my positive experience. One minor downside is that it’s an older hotel with some noticeable wear on wallpaper due to aging. Also, with many international guests staying here, there were instances where laundry items were left unattended after use or water spilled in the laundry area made floors slippery and hazardous. Looking forward to staying again soon!

    Direct access to Hanzomon Station!

    The location is excellent. My wife has some difficulty walking, but the elevator to the station ticket gate was very close, which was helpful. For breakfast, you can have an omelet freshly made right in front of you. The service was impressive, comparable to that of Tokyo Prince Hotel. The Room was a twin. The beds were placed together, making it slightly inconvenient to get on and off them.

    Air conditioner adjustment

    When I entered the Room, I wanted to lower the temperature immediately, but the small text was hard to read even with reading glasses, so it took time to adjust. Additionally, hot air was coming out from above the refrigerator, making it uncomfortable for a while. However, they upgraded me to a slightly larger Room, and the bed was comfortable, so I slept soundly. Thank you for your hospitality. As this Hotel is in a convenient location, I would like to stay again.

    Conveniently located...

    Conveniently located near the station yet very quiet, clean, and comfortable. There was a slight odor from the bathroom drain, which was a minor downside. The breakfast was varied and delicious.

    Great location with a delicious and satisfying breakfast. Our group was the only Japanese one, giving us the feeling of being on an international trip. I would love to stay here again when visiting Tokyo.

    Convenient Hotel at a Relatively Affordable Price

    I stayed in Tokyo for 3 nights, but since I couldn't book a Multiple Night Stay, I stayed at 3 different Hotels. This was my favorite. The front desk staff were also kind.

    To watch the Hanshin Tigers vs. Dodgers MLB Tokyo Series

    Stayed to watch the Hanshin Tigers vs. Dodgers MLB Tokyo Series. On 3/15 (Saturday), after check-in, went to Tokyo Dome to shop for merchandise. For dinner, walked up the hill from the hotel to "Tonkatsu Ikeda" and enjoyed the TOKYO X Special Fillet Cutlet Set Meal (3,800 yen) with a bottle of beer. It was delicious and highly recommended. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also very tasty. If staying here, I recommend choosing a plan with breakfast included. Would love to stay again!

    It was comfortable.

    The room is not spacious, but it is well-cleaned and tidy. The front desk service is kind, and the drink service is satisfactory. Although it is in a quiet location, there are convenience stores and supermarkets nearby, making it an overall comfortable hotel.

    Thank you for your thoughtfulness.

    The day we stayed was my grandson's 5th birthday. When we entered the room, there was a message card and five small origami cranes on the counter table, which made my grandson very happy. Although I had noted at the time of reservation that it was a stay after watching the Rice Bowl and my grandson's birthday, I was very grateful for the thoughtful gesture.

    Breakfast is plentiful.

    I often use this place recently. The breakfast is very fulfilling. The omelets are delicious, and there is a wide variety of sauces. Additionally, there are seafood rice bowls and Chinese dishes, which are very satisfying. Highly recommended.

    Monterey Group is a favorite, and I used the Hanzomon Hotel for the first time. As always, the bed and linens were clean and easy to use, allowing me to relax for two nights. On the morning of the second day, I went out with a plate on the door asking for towel exchange only, but when I returned, even the hair in the bathroom drain was cleaned up... I was impressed by this! Thank you to the cleaning staff. I am truly grateful. Also, since it was a very cold day, the amenity hot sheet was extremely helpful. If I had to point out a minor issue, it would be that I was mysteriously kept waiting for about 10 minutes during check-in while holding my luggage (this was quite tiring...＾＾； and the smell of the Room? was a little concerning. However, it is a good Hotel. All the staff were kind.＾人＾good!

    The worst Hotel Monterey Hanzomon

    At check-in, I signed and mentioned the luggage I sent by courier, but after searching for about 10 minutes, I was told it wasn't there and asked if I had a receipt. When I entered the room and looked at the name on the memo I was given, it was someone else's name, so I called the front desk and was told they found the luggage and asked them to come and apologize. I waited a long time, but the assistant manager came. The manager was out. Another employee from check-in also came. They apologized, but it was clear that it wasn't sincere. I mentioned the employee training and quality. I was appalled by the lack of common sense. Is this acceptable in the service industry? At check-out, I was told that they overcharged the Accommodation Tax at check-in and would refund 100 yen, and I was frustrated that the assistant manager didn't mention this when they came to the room. At breakfast, I was told they had reserved a seat, but when I went, it was at the end, and I felt mocked. However, the breakfast was good. The price for one night wasn't cheap. I'm dissatisfied.

    We were able to upgrade our Room due to an unexpected vacancy, allowing us to relax. The amenities at this Hotel were very well-equipped. The staff's response was also good.
