A charming and historic onsen accommodation. The room was a Japanese-style room with in-room dining, featuring chairs for a comfortable dining experience. We appreciated the attentive service during meals. The room was very spacious, with two sinks in a separate area, an open-air bath, and a well-designed layout. The rooftop open-air bath was also very pleasant. The meals were traditional Japanese kaiseki cuisine, with fresh sashimi and delicious Goro-shima Kintoki sweet potato rice being the highlights. The building itself is old, and the large garden with its forest and lotus pond seemed somewhat neglected, which was a bit disappointing. The sound of karaoke could be heard clearly, giving off the vibe of an old-fashioned onsen ryokan. It felt like some guests had outdated manners, but perhaps that can't be helped.
